Was sceptical about buying an unofficial controller, but all Is good. It’s as good as, if not better than the Sony one, responsive with no ‘stickiness’ in the buttons or sticks.

Obviously not as lovely to use as an original, but I’d recommend this if you cant afford one.
I’m happy with this because of two things:
1. The D pad being four arrows and not a round pad.
2. It has a nice long, soft flexible lead. Shame it doesn’t boast about this, as It’s a big plus and would sell more of them. Other generic controllers have shorter, stiffer leads which often arent long enough.
This is so good I’ll be buying another.
It feels as close to the original as I’ve ever felt. The analogue sticks are actually analogue input, rather than a digital input which is a scam with these controllers.
After digging out my old PS2 I found two out of the three controllers I had no longer worked.
Having seen positive reviews I thought I’d give this a try. Happy to say it works a dream, it’s very responsive and you can not go wrong with the price!

Die Verarbeitung und Qualitt ist berraschend gut und steht fr mich einem Originalen Controller in nichts nach.
Tasten-Drckgefhl, Gre und Gewicht ist fr mich gleich wie beim Original.

Das Produkt ist auf jeden Fall gleichwertig mit dem Original Playstation 2 Controller.
Er funktioniert tadellos und fhlt sich sehr wertig an.
Der einzige Unterschied ist tatschlich nur der Name und die etwas vernderte Button Farbe.
Ich bin schwer begeistert. Super haptik, reagiert sofort auf Druck und Bewegung. Fr das Geld auf jedenfall zu empfehlen.
Unterschale und Oberschale an einer kleinen Stelle nicht ganz aneinander (kleiner Spalt) aber funktioniert super genau wie das Original.
Keine Probleme. Nach 3 Monaten luft er noch so wie er soll und wird ohne Probleme anerkannt bon der Konsole. Empfehlenswert.
I’m so glad that I bought this CIPON Wired Controller-as my ps2 controller was so hard to do menial tasks, such as steering correctly, braking, and so on?. Once you configure the steering left and right ( Mine was on number 2 setting which made it so easy to control) It is very responsive too.

I needed two for my PS1 since I had my previous controllers stolen. They work exactly the same and the cable is a good length. I got a lot out of playing Tony Hawk and Spyro 🙂
I had not used my PS2 for many years and, when I tried to get it going, the controller stopped working and would not respond to any commands. Thought I broke a pin on the connection or something like that but not sure. Found this controller on Amazon and thought I would try that to see if it works. Happy to say it worked perfectly. My PS2 is back up and running.
They look and feel cheap, but it’s still the only good option to get back into PS2. Have fun!

Everything about this PS2 controller is pretty spot On! The quality of the plastic is solid, the stick sensitivity is pretty great to a bit tight but I’m sure it I will work itself out. Also the buttons feel identical too the original!
Solid, well made. What you see is what you get. Perfect for a cheap replacement considering OEM Sony controllers are upwards of 50$ CAD. My only complaint is the L2/R2 buttons feel a bit questionable.

Controller set-up is just like original. It is easy to use and worked well with my PS2.
Da Sony ja fr die lteren Generationen nicht mehr produziert, muss man sich Alternativen suchen.
Dieser hatte gute Rezensionen und deshalb hab ich ihn eine Chance gegeben. Preis/ Leistung ist Top. Haptik ist mega gut. Tasten funktionieren einwandfrei genauso wie die rumble Funktion. berraschend gut sogar die Analogsticks, vielleicht sogar besser als die originalen von damals.
Leider hat das Steuerkreuz ein paar bersetzungensprobleme, muss aber kein generelles Problem sein. Trotzdem schade. Deshalb leider ein Stern Abzug in der Gesamtwertung.
Trotz diesem kleinen Problem, kann ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben. Bin immer noch begeistert.
Worked on my ps1 and it feel good, only flimsy part I’d the connector feels loose but it works
first things first. i have not been able to find decent quality PS2 controllers for at least 5 years. everything i bought second hand has been badly damaged or weirdly greasy. these ones came in and they felt like a brand new ps2 controller. like the first day that i got one. the resistance feels so great and the joy sticks are not too slippery. i definitely recommend these to any PS2 players!

I took a chance on a third party controller, and so far I am not disappointed. It has been functioning well, though a bit noisier than an original PS2 controller. (IMO, anyway.)
My kids love playing my old PS2 and this remote was the perfect replacement for the broken one. It was a very affordable price and the cord is nice and long compared to alot of others I checked out so the kids are not stuck right infront of the big screen on today’s tv’s.
I’ll admit I had my doubts, as I have bought 3rd party controllers in the past, but this one actually Works well, a good replacement for someone who wants to relive old PS2 games without breaking the bank. Constructed well and all the buttons work great.

It works. Solid D-Pad and clicks buttons. Of course it’s not a factory controller, but it feels really good for the money and works great in games. Definitely usable and functional.
I just recently ordered two of these. Just in case one broke early in gameplay. It feels brand new. Works as should. No problems. These are awesome and a good replacement for my old ass controller for the PS2. I recommend this product.

Didn’t expect to like it as much as we did! We were looking for a cheap ps2 controller just as a back for player 2. It feels just like the original ps2 controllers and we’ve had no issues with it!
I find the controller fits my hands perfectly. The length of the controller was absolutely perfect I wish it were a bit heavier though all and all it was such a great buy.
The controller does not have pressure sensitive buttons, it does have analog sticks and l3 and r3 support but the analog sticks are quite sensitive.
Overall its pretty good and the buttons feel nice.
Works as well as I remember the regular PS2 controls work. When you light up the analog button to use the sticks, it is very responsibe.

You get what you pay for. Don’t expect any vibration.
Seems like a very small delay from when the buttons are push to the action in the game playing sports.
I think they must have bought the old molds used by Sony to make these controllers, or copied the molds and parts because they feel and look identical to Sonys original controllers. Very surprising quality for the price
The controller works. But the controller analog sticks sticks a bit and goes left on its own.
The gap in between the 2 controller “shells” is kinda large (not tightly fit together) and the joystick rotation aren’t as accurate as an original. But overall it works which is all I really need it to do.
A family member passed down his old Playstation 2 to my kids. Unfortunately, one of the original wired controllers did not work anymore. Ordered two of these wired controllers — no issues with use at all — just plug and play! Thank you!
Looks like the real thing but ain’t nothing like the real thing.
Feels 3d printed but actually durable. Our ps2 controller finally died after years of kingdom hearts(about 10+ to be exact). Thing is lighter, but feels just as tough. Worked flawlessly for kingdom hearts. Will buy again if needed
Works fine. The only thing bottering me is that it only has 8 pins (as opposed to 9), but I guess all the aftermarket controllers comes with 8. Still a great product.

I bought this as a gift to a friend. His PS2 with all the luck in the world still works so I bought him this controller since his others stopped working. As of now the controller has worked well and is holding up. He loves it and is happy to be playing his classic games again.
I was very happy with the controller and would buy again.
The controler worked good. The only complaint I have is that the analog sticks aren’t as sensitive as a original Sony PS2 controller.
Product arrived quickly. Well packaged and in “new” condition. Exactly as advertised. Seems well built. Controls feel a bit different than the Sony original but that’s expected. Buttons don’t seem as firm as the original when pressed but they operate as they should. The toggle controls seem to lag a bit. (Depending on the game ?) they aren’t as “precise” as the Sony controllers but that’s probably something that takes some time getting used to. It’s definitely not a deal breaker though.

I dusted off my old PS2 after a move and my black PS2 dualshock was not working correctly and some games do not work with an older grey PS dualshock. This works with any games. Weight and feel are a little different I think, but no problem for me at all.
This controller is very well built, and if it did not have the CIPON logo on it , I would say it was made by Sony .
A great replacement controller for the price.
Kept buying new PS2 controllers on Ebay that didn’t perform well. Gave these a try. My wife and I were surprised at the fluidness of the controllers when playing PES 2012. They’re light and feel cheaply made in contrast to the Sony DS2, but the controllers are nice and responsive. Now, the test of time.
Wasn’t expecting that much quality out of a 15$ remote. I recommend.
Che dire, un ottimo controller, ero un p diffidente per il basso costo ma risulta abbastanza robusto, non pesante come l’originale ma di ottima fattura, le levette analogiche sono buone, i tasti sono morbidi, e la vibrazione, che credevo fosse stata sicuramente pessima, in realt piuttosto valida quasi come l’originale, acquisto consigliato! p.s. lo uso anche tramite un adattatore sul mio PC e funziona perfettamente

An excellent controller! Very cool design, simple, feels very sturdy. It has a nice texture, light, and the buttons and joysticks work perfectly. The shoulder buttons don’t stick at all and generally the whole thing is wonderfully made. Worth the money!!! Definitely buy this one if you’re looking for one.
I’ve had my ps2 since they have came out and now my nephew uses it and the controller quit working, got this one and work great the designs on the buttons are a little different but it’s just cause they are updated, I actually like them a lot better than the original!!
Nice and comfortable to use, if it wasn’t for the symbols being different, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it wasn’t a sony brand controller. Definitely worth getting this instead of overpaying for a name brand one. Plus it had a longer cord!!
Nice controller but out the box it was defected. L2 button doesn’t work right and needs a hard push to register instead of a light tap like usual. R1 button is a bit stiff but still works as intended.
will order another one and return the original as i’m pretty sure it was a slight case of bad luck

This is as best as it gets without emptying the wallet for the originals. I purchased 4 and they shipped relatively quick. The controller is packaged well, having it’s own bubble wrap inside the individual box. It functions well as the original except with one flaw: the button sensitivity or how soft or hard the button is being pressed down. Low budget and want to relive some memories on the PS2 but lacking some controllers? This is a deal too good to pass.
I’ve bought other ps2 controllers that were more expensive and felt flimsy and eventually broke in about 2 months time. These on the other hand look, and feel like a great quality product. I bought 2 and I’ve only had them for about a week and there doing great. I will update my review if I run into any problems with the controllers. 5 stars from me for now.
It would be 5 stars but, it’s hitting the down button automatically on it’s own. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it still went down.
Performance-wise however it was so-so. The analog sticks and buttons could not hold up to a rhythm game like Gitaroo Man for example. Too many dead zones unfortunately, but fine for an RPG or platformer where there is margin for error.
Gripes aside, for the 11 bucks I spent I feel fine with the quality. Might have been to much to ask for better sticks, but at least they feel fine on the hands (not mushy or anything, just dead zones which the product insert does warn of ahead of time).
Love this controller, just bought a ps2 console used and the controller I got with it had the buttons all lose and worn out so I went here and saw this controller, ordered it and it works great!! Highly recommend one of These controllers if you don’t want to order the original!!! Haven’t had any problems with it at all!!

There’s nothing bad to say at all. If you need a ps2 controller this is 100% the answer. The extra cord length was just a small perk I thought until I used it. For my setup it made all the difference. I wont buy a sort length sony anymore.
My dualshock 2 controller has left me. The official controller is so expensive, I don’t want to choose a second-hand one. This controller is a perfect replacement, cheap and good quality. Thanks to the excellent controller provided by the seller, I can continue to play Guitar Hero again and will purchase again.
I didn’t want to spend the money for an original Sony replacement game controller. This one is a very good replacement for a reasonable price. All of the controls function properly and smoothly. The only critique I have is the markings on the buttons aren’t an exact match for the original, but they’re close enough that my grandkids didn’t have any trouble adjusting.
controller came quick and customer service is on point. It’s a good little controller for the money you get you have to be careful with the r2 button if you’re playing any games like WWE that take that button a lot I’m assuming it’s going to wear down in about 2 weeks.
I have used several other third party controllers for the PS2 system, and this one is the best of the bunch.
The casing is a bit more rigid than the others (very similar feel to the OEM DS2). Input is without lag, and the “rumble” very responsive. As it becomes more difficult to find working OEM DS2 controllers, these are a fine replacement..
TL;DR, if you are looking for third party PS2 controllers, buy these!
