I was worried about the battery life but it’s fine. So light to use I’m so glad I bought one. The only drawback for me is that I find the buttons hurt my hands whichever one I try!
I like this lawnmower as it’s light and cordless. I have small lawn, about 50 square meters and the battery last long enough to cut the grass in one go. The battery also charges quickly. In overall very happy with this purchase
Fantastic buy! Just what I needed. Small, light and leaves the lawn looking smart. Love the freedom of a cordless machine. The battery life is sufficient to cut my 45 x 25 foot rear garden and my small front garden in one charge. Very happy.
We use it without the collection box to mulch; easy to use, lightweight, great for straightforward cutting for smaller lawn. (50sqm)

I purchased this mower as I am unable to cut the grass myself and rely on my wife. This mower is much lighter than our mains power machine and has the capacity to cut all the grass 3 times before the battery needs recharging. Very happy with it.

An excellent machine for a great price (We got this on special offer around 165). We have a fairly large garden so bought an additional battery, 2 batteries easily covers the ground and there is enough left to move battery to the strimmer. Its lightweight and can be moved by the central handle with easy.

Can’t be more happy with this lawnmower… For a small size lawn this is perfect. Lightweight, easy to assemble and the height of cut is sufficiently low enough.

Great to setup, took 5 mins, so light. Takes up a lot less space. Great little mower, only have a small back garden, it’s perfect. Had a petrol mower most of my life, this is way easier to use
Great bit of kit, no cables, very lightweight and a good grassbox to boot. The battery takes about 40 mins to charge, and I used it twice (20 mins each time) before it died. It will also work with the smaller 2.5 size battery (which came with a chainsaw).
There’s a hidden safety switch in the battery compartment which can be removed when not in use. Two are supplied. After pressing the centre button to get started there are power switches on four places around the handle. Having a plastic instead of metal skirt makes the clean up easy, just brush it out with a stiff brush and clean the vents.
Seriously, it halves the time it used to take for me to mow the lawn; an odd shaped and weedy patch but this mows it all fine, and goes right to the edge of the patio so less time needed to strim the edges. The height adjustment is a simple lever, unlike my manual mower which has to be taken apart! The lowest cutting height is still high enough to cope with the uneven surface.
Very pleased and would definitely recommend it for a small to medium sized law
Performance is beyond my expectation. Easy to use, cuts nicely without loss of power. Can’t go back to spaghetti wires, I actually enjoy mowing the lawn now!

Only negative is there’s no indication of how much power’s remaining in the battery. I was aware of this when I purchased the mower though, just pointing it out.
Very easy to use. Battery life good on large garden.
Compared to our old hover mower, it is very tidy with no grass cuttings spread over footpaths and roads. The only mess comes when taking off the grass collection box, which seems designed to drop bits of grass on the floor!
Easy to assemble but at points a third hand would have been useful.
Very light so easy to lift up and store on a chest-high shelf at the back of the garage.
The wire from body to the handle is a mess and does not sit out of the way. Even where it comes out of the body it seems designed to stick out wider than the mower so that it will catch in bushes at the edge of the lawn. I’ve used two cables ties in addition to the two clips.
It mowed my front and back lawns and my neighbour’s front lawn and still had capacity.
Mowed all the way to the edges, easy yto manoeuvre but but wheels are a little more awkward than hover.
It does not cut short enough. I cannot imagine why I’d ever want the longer settings unless I had a field.
A folding handle for storage would have been appreciated.
I bought this to replace my 20 year old corded Bosch lawnmower. This battery one arrived well packaged. 4 stars only for “easy to assemble” because it was frustrating trying to put the grass box together. 5 stars for everything else. I think the price is reasonable although the mower does feel a bit cheap. A point to note – make sure you buy a 2nd battery. I have a 2nd battery for a Bosch strimmer and needed this as the lawnmower battery only lasted 25 minutes. Otherwise all good.
Very pleased with this. Cuts very well and very, very light. Just wish they had given a clear option to add an extra battery. You are offered a pack but not a battery on its own and it’s not straightforward finding the right battery for this mowe
The city mower is perfect for the grass strip around my bungalow and the small grass area at the back.
It encourages me to keep the grass tidy as it’s little effort to use.
If you have a small to medium size lawn, this is the mower to buy.
It’s light, easy to assemble, easy to manoeuvre, easy height change, easy to empty, easy everything really, and the battery has enough charge to get my lawn cut in one go.

The grass catcher on the mower is a bit of pig to connect the bottom to the top. but once snapped together works well.
This is a great coreless mower. It’s not big and so it’s quite light and easy to maneuver, and cuts nice and evenly. I bought an extra battery, but so far I haven’t needed to use it. I can easily cut for 30 minutes at a time and the battery hasn’t drained. I’m not sure how long it would last beyond that. We have a decent sized garden and the battery lasts for a whole cut. It’s worth noting that you will probably mow your lawn faster than a corded mower as you don’t have to stop to move a cord. The only downside I can see so far is that the grass collected doesn’t get compacted as well, but it’s not too bad. I would highly recommend this for the price.
A very good product but not for a very large law
It is a very small mower. Ok for a very small lawn. Well built and easy to use
This is the first battery driven mower I have bought and I have been very impressed with it. Some reviews I have read suggest the battery only runs for 20 minutes before it needs recharging – I have found it will run for over half an hour!

Easy to assemble. Very light and easy to use. Couldn’t really justify the expenditure for cordless I have a very small lawn and you only use it a couple of times a month over the year.
I purchased a Bosch cordless vacum which uses the same battery so very happy with the outcome.
It was a bit awkward to put together, but it was worth the effort. Easy to handle, and without the faff of a cable it comes out more often.
Not a close cut, though, so not good for creating a putting gree
I’m able to mow the lawns in half the time it used to take with my old corded mower. Lovely and light to use. The finish of the cut lawns is not so great but I’m not fussy.
Setting-up the grass box was a pain. Otherwise product was good.
Husband loves this. It’s easy to move even when full. Easy to put together. Pricing on here is a bit odd. 40 more if you don’t want a battery!
Only down side is that the handle doesn’t hold down to store away.

Great for my smallish garden (50 square meters) – can do it on a single charge – and battery is compatible with all my other tools. Very light and easy to operate. Also very quiet so won’t be disturbing my neighbours much. Hugely recommended.
I was a bit worried about some of the negative reviews about battery life but there has been no problem mowing my medium sized lawn. Without a cable it’s so much quicker to use and the lightness makes it easier to manoeuvre. I wish both parts of the handles could have folded up, but that’s a minor quibble. It does a good cut of my grass too. All together a great product.
Could do with an even lower cutting level,
handle doesn’t fold down fully. Otherwise works well, easy to clean & holds plenty of charge to cut the average lawn 2-3 times over.
So light & easy to use . It takes me12 minutes to do my 50 sqr mtr(approx) lawn . It gives areally nice cut on the lowest setting . Then 30-40 mins on charge & it’s ready to go again . I estimate 60% savings in time & energy . At 77 yrs of age every saving is welcome

Decided to purchase this to replace existing corded Flymo. Two reasons – fed up of tangled cables and also grass flying everywhere when cutting. Initial impressions when unpacking matches others here – plastics feel lightweight and the entire thing feels a bit ‘fisher price my first lawnmower’. However, I think that this is for a reason – lightweight to save battery and to improve manoeuvrability. Reasonably easy to put together although instructions could be better in my opinion. Battery came mostly charged so was up and running in 30 mins. Really happy with performance. Only have a small lawn – around 3 x 10m and it was so quick and easy to mow with this. Lowest cut is 30mm which is a little high but more than adequate. Took quarter of time to mow lawn compared to wired lawnmower due to lack of faff with wires and clearing up – there was no mess at all. Very easy to move and battery easily lasted. Really pleased with this purchase so far and recommend.
So happy with this mower, so light,very quiet,no cable is a luxury for me. Battery lasts about an hour or so which is great,

Don’t listen to the negative reviews it’s an excellent bit of kit and perfect for the small-mid sized lawn.
The 30mm minimum cut height is more than adequate, any lower I’d be taking the top soil with it.
Well made, sturdy, looks great, feels great and very quiet compared to my Flymo Hover Lawnmower and the battery life is 25 mins +

Although the City Mower appears to be well made it’s not as solid as my current Bosch Rotak electric plug in mower, no roller included either. also the price of a second battery seems expensive.
It’s generally great, but the battery life is shorter than I’d like. And it easily struggles with long grass
Good Quality lawnmower. However, you need to move quickly to mow a reasonably sized garden. The battery will run out pretty quickly if you don’t move at pace.
I’ve had plenty of lawnmowers in my time, but nothing compares with this Bosch model. Par excellence without doubt.
Generally I am very pleased with this lawnmower. It is light and easy to handle (I particularly wanted to use it on a sloping area where my petrol mower is too heavy) and it does the job well. Battery life is good and lasts about 20 mins. It also takes the same batteries as other Bosch tools so I can use Bosch “power for all” batteries from other Bosch tools if the main battery runs out or I need more time. Although light, the build quality is good and it is much easier to use against fences or in difficult positions than a heavier lawnmower. Recommended for small gardens or if you use a heavier petrol mower and want to supplement it with something easier to manoeuvre.
My lawn is small and I wanted something cordless – as I have a number of 18v Bosch garden tools, this made sense. Just used it for the first time this afternoon. As the grass was a bit long, I had a start on the ‘high’ setting and then go a second cut on medium. Happy with the result. The mower was easy to assemble and light to move around. Decent result overall and so am pleased with the purchase.
Absolutely love this, upgraded from an older corded Bosch lawnmower. Its not too loud, light weight and super easy to use / setup.
I get about 40 minutes from a full charge. Just make sure to charge out of habit, i normally get 2 goes from a single charge.
Assembling the mower was relatively easy and while I appreciate the cost is more to do with the battery technology, I could not help feeling in the assembly that the quality of the mower felt cheap plastic and for the price, I was disappointed.
I had a perfectly good flymo which is only a few months old but have become a big fan of the battery garden tools since i managed to slice through my lead on a hedge shearer we had.
Now have the hedge shears, lawnmower and strimmer all in the Bosch battery mode and really pleased with the concept and not having extension leads or product leads all over the garden is a real boost.
Lightweight and easy to use, easy to assemble, like other reviewers have said doesn’t cut the grass very short, but still looks good.
This lawnmower is reasonable light, has an adjustable height mowing head and bring battery operated means no power cord issues. Great buy thoroughly recommend

Works well, recharges fully after about half an hour and easy to empty box.

I used it on the lowest setting and lawn has looked nice.Doest not cut as low as the hoover mower,but I am happy with it.
No mess ! Less cleaning up as the grass is not blown everywhere as with the hoover mower.

Very light but flimsy plastic construction. Not sure how long this will last although cuts ok (not great, but that’s the compromise)
We should have bought this mower a long time ago (but of course it probably wasn’t available). We can do the whole lawn in a very short time. We can easily carry up steps to the garden whereas we had given up on the heavy petrol one! It cuts nice and short, but can be elevated when necessary. The only small niggle is that it could have had just one additional setting on the height. We are in our 70s so this works well for us.
Very easy to use and lightweight machine. The grass box is surprisingly large and with not having to keep moving the wire I mowed 2 lawns in half the time. I would recommend getting the strimmer too and use the same battery as unless you have 300m2 of lawn you will have plenty left.
The construction is similar to the mains version, and the way it works is almost identical. i think its fair to say that they have made some of the items super lightweight so that they can increase battery performance, and as a result some of the plastics feel a little cheap for the cost. however if you can look past that, the mower works perfectly, and the lightweight construction makes its so much easier to move around on the grass.
The battery is very fast to charge, and we have never run out or even got close.
The only thing i do miss is the roller at the back that all the mains Bosch mowers have. This gave my lawn some impressive stripes which were very noticeable. Unfortunately this battery version doesn’t have that, which again is probably for weight saving. Apart from that, we love this new mower and would never go back to mains again.
Light and easy to use, I’ve managed nearly 4 cuts before the battery went low which is more than enough. I would prefer a slightly lower cut on its lowest setting but I still have a corded Bosch mower which gives me the best options.
I am in just 70s and found my old petrol mower very heavy to manoeuvre in recent years.
This mower is wonderfully light and easy to use. I am delighted with it!

Is quiet and cuts well. We have still not managed to remove the battery easily after mowing our lawn.
j’ai achet une capacit de 6Ah, c’est top elle dure vraiment longtemps, mais avoir toujours une seconde batterie de charge pour finir le travail, cela peux servir, sauf si on veut faire une petite pause de 2h le temps de la recharge.
les couteaux sont trs efficaces et les trois positions de hauteur de lame trs apprciable, le nettoyage est facile, prvoir un coupe bordure dans la gamme All18V pour les finissions, proche des poteaux ou dans les petits recoins.
Je suis trs satisfait de cet tondeuse, j’avais prcdemment la version lectrique filaire, la c’est du bonheur de ne pas tre limit par la distance et de ne plus faire attention tirer le cble pour viter de le passer sous la tondeuse.

I used to be a “once a week, maybe once a fortnight” mower, but, since getting this, I’ve gravitated to 2-3 times a week! I am getting fitter, the lawns look better – win-win!!
It is recommended to buy 2 batteries for larger gardens. I already had 2x 18v batteries, but smaller, But I was not able to cut a whole allotment with the 3 batteries. Cuts nicely and even, but for larger jobs 2 battery is minimum, 3 even, of the same type.
My friends has ekectronuc trimmer and mower of another popular brand, I compared with Bosch. Recommend Bosch, lighter, easy use and more powerful.
As I can’t mow the lawn, my wife has the dubious pleasure and she loves it. The only gripe is that she’s vertically challenged and the handle isn’t adjustable, So I have cut it down by about 10 cm and it’s now perfect. We get through two 2,5 A batteries for the size of our lawn. which is roughly 30 mtr x 15mtr.
Mows well, 3 height settings. 1 charge lasts 20 mins or so, enough to cover about 80m2.
Would recommend.

Seems like a pretty good mower cuts well make sure you have a 4AH battery or it will chew throuhh it quickly. I wish the handle folded down for flat storage.
The mower is great for small areas particularly if used regularly. If grass is long the box fills up very quick so you need to empty it regularly. I have about 60 square metres to cut so it’s absolutely ideal
So easy to use and very effective, can be hard to clean if grass is wet/damp
