I’ve only used a couple of times but I would reduce the temp or time a bit as it’s quite powerful. I’m only cooking for 1 so I can get meat or veg in at once. A good buy
I bought this because I wanted one with a digital readout. It works well but is a good bit noisier than the one it replaced. It cleans easily enough. All the various touch buttons are just preset different heat and timer settings. I very much like the “keep warm” setting.
Wanted someone I could cook healthy food quickly and easily without hassle of difficult cleaning and prep, although I’ve only done salmon and some peppers it came out perfectly using the fish selection.
Very easy to use and only took 8 minutes which is ideal for someone like me who gets in from work at different times.
Very well made and has a good cook book for recipes, only recommendation is there aren’t many healthy options but I’m sure it’s easy to make your own using the presets as I live on chicken, fish and eggs plus vegetables.
For the money this is truly a fantastic product that is very well thought out and so easy to use which is a must. Lots of videos on You Tube for other recipes anyway
This is the 2nd one I ordered. The first one I noticed scratches on the Display Panel as soon as I unpacked it. I returned it the same day and received a refund within a day…. brilliant. I ordered a replacement immediately and this Air Fryer is great. So easy to use, doesnt take up so much room as my old Tefal, food cook brilliantly, so I’m extremely happy with this purchase.
I have only just received the 3.5 litre version but, so far so good. I suggest you read the well written manual first. Having done that , I have cooked bacon, fried bread and frozen chips. They have all turned out superb. It pays to experiment a little with the timings and temperatures. I can’t wait to try a pork chop and, of course, chicken. It does not take up a lot of space, which is fortunate as I only have a small kitchen.
I would put the noise level at about the same a hoover. It is not too obtrusive. Please remember to leave plenty of space around the fryer especially at the back, Externally, it does not get as hot as I imagined it would. So far so good.
Really pleased with this purchase. Not a well known brand in the UK but this is a quality site frying. Cleans really easy, simple to use, and the preheat really makes a difference to the cooking time and the flavour.
That is the best way to cook (and not just weird unhealthy stuff =)
Well, the best way – is that the result is 100% repeatable and consistent (and semiautomated).
P.S. Why, oh why I did not get it earlier? Could save so much time and electricity =)
For the price this is an excellent airfryer. It has loads of Presets to choose from but you have total control over cooking times and temperatures. So far I have not been dissatisfied with anything I’ve cooked in it thus far. It’s so much quicker and more efficient than my conventional oven. The reduction in use of cooking oil is fantastic. I use a tiny amount of light olive oil spray for some foods to give an extra crunch. When it comes to cleaning it could not be any easier.A little dish soap and a rinse under a hot tap and your done. The unit is well constructed and my 3.5 litre model doesn’t take up much room on the worktop. As a bonus you also receive a great little recipe book in the box. There are hundreds of YouTube vids on how to get the best out of your airfryer and I am working my way through them. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
As an update : I read some comments about non stick coating was wearing quickly.. To combat this I cut some oven silicone mesh to size and lined the cooking tray of the airfryer with it.
I’m ready to get rid of my.oven completely easy to use and the food cooking in their was so much better tasting than in the oven, shaking was abit hard but becoming a pro as it is abit heavy but then the quality of it is impressive,
Highly recommend this
i follow someone on youtube who makes healthy food and and air fryer is something she uses regularly in her demos so of course being impressionable, i had to have one and felt confident with the reviews that this product may live up to my expectations. So far i have make sweet potato chips, spicy tiger prawns and diced plantain and all have been delicious. I brush lightly with oil but make sure it is so flavoursome with the veg powder (bouillon) that i dont miss the lack of oil. It will certainly inspire you to eat more healthily as now i dont mind eating all my veggies with a side serving of a healthier portion of sweet potato fries . With regards to flavour – it all depends on how well you flavour it and with what.
I will admit I has a little nervous using it but it was just incredible. I used to stick to the same foods (usually microwave or similar) but this has given me the confidence to try lots of new things as even my very first attempt turned out perfectly – I expected it to be burnt or not done enough so to be able to make my first meal and enjoy it has given me the urge to keep using it. The recipe book is an inspiration in itself, and I cannot see my going back to my gas cooker again. Only thing is I am now spending a lot of time watching YT vids (and the vast majority I’ve watched feature this brand) to see what else I can make. In short, pretty much idiot-proof and a quality addition to any kitchen!
This is the first air fryer I’ve owned and afaik the first one I’ve eaten from too! Have to say, I should have bought myself something like this years ago but was always of the mind that it was a fad likely to die out, or that the technology would just make its way into conventional ovens, etc.
The taste of the food, especially oven chips which it VASTLY improves, is excellent. It’s even done me some decent steaks! So, why not full marks? Well, the non-stick is only ‘ok’. It works well enough for fat/grease etc… However, had some real chew removing other coatings (batter, breadcrumbs) that tend to stick near the basket side vents. Even a soap’n’soak has a bit of trouble shifting these without resorting to an abrasive scrub. The only other thing is that the touch panel really doesn’t look all that great and looks a bit cheap, with a slightly uneven soft plastic covering which, on a more premium device, would be glass.
Got this air fryer because my oven is on its last legs so I got this incase my oven went off at any point. It’s great it cooks food througgly and quickly, I was weary at first about the air fryers and thought they wouldn’t live up to the hype but they are really good and worth investing.
Likes:
Quickly cooks potato food/freezer food
Takes no time at all to cook food
Dislikes:
Sometimes hard to clean
Can be quite big and takes up a bit of room
Took me a while to decide which air fryer I would get, but I’m so pleased I chose this one. Its great. Super easy to use and clean. Would recommend this to anyone. I did my home work and the reviews were bang on for this air frye
Absolutely delighted with this product. There is so much you can do with it. Chicken, pork chops and steak cook really well and I now prefer it to using the grill. I still have a lot more to try out with it but so pleased I bought it.
Super, a small unit. it works well for me as a single person. The capacity is just about right.
It is easy to use with clear control buttons. The manual and included cook book again, are very clear and easy to read. The recipe book is very comprehensive.
Perfect, how did I ever live without it. I got the smaller version, as a single person, it my family have the larger one. I have not used my oven since buying it. Chicken pieces, bacon, sausages, roasted veg, muffins, toast each morning and a pizza. What a joy. I have just purchased a set of accessories so I am assuming some of these things will be even easier with the right equipment ! Worth every single penny and life changing.
Oven chips, with a bit of a shake or turn, come out great with this. Also coated chicken comes out great. 3.5 one enough for us (two) but would recommend bigger if family of 4 or more. Easy to use apart from tray could be slightly easier to put back in but this is a knack you get used to after awhile. Pretty easy to clean if you don’t get anything baked on by not doing it each time. Would recommend grease through paper for most things and occasionally a separate dish for things such as sausages which give off quite a bit of their own fat. Need to have space around device while using for venting. Would recommend this as we use it a lot and it saves a lot of bending for oven while not using as much power as our oven. Very healthy way of cooking.
The machine looks smart and the trays are dishwasher safe.
The recipe book gives you good ideas and helps you work out timings.
This is brilliant for me as I’m currently on a diet and you use lots less oil but still get the same result.
Bought 3.5l having done a lot of research. I like the ‘square’ pan as it gives you a larger cooking area/space. We are a family of two adults and one 4yr old and I would suggest if you have 3+ adults or older kids, seriously consider spending a little more and getting the 5l capacity model, as I would say the 3.5l I purchased would be a bare minimum for our family size (I imagine I’ll get a bigger one in a few years).
I find it easy to use (read the instructions), but I found the recipe book and presets a bit hit and miss on cooking times and temperatures (have had a few meals over cooked etc. by using the book and presets), so basically trial and error, lots of forums/social media groups online I suggest you look to perfect your cooking.
But… super bit of kit, very welcome in my kitchen. we particularly wanted it for sweet potato fries (a staple in our house), which is does fab! (corn flour being the secret ingredient if you don’t use it already on you sweet potato fries!).
Highly recommended… as I say, consider the bigger model if you’re 3+ adults or have older kids, join some social media groups, trial and error as standard – ENJOY!
I was worried this would be complicated to use, but it didn’t take me long to get used to it!
It’s very easy to clean and the flavour of cooked foods is really nice.
If I’m being really picky, I find it a bit on the noisy side but that could just be me.
Overall extremely happy!!
This is my second air fryer, the first being a manual one with a round basket, and it had seem better days. This replacement is certainly a step up as it comes with a fairly comprehensive instruction manual/recipe book and is very easy to pre-programme. I’m definitely getting plenty of use out of it as it’s so much easier and cheaper to use this for cooking rather that heat up the oven. If I have one niggle, it’s with myself for thinking that the smaller one would be sufficient – it isn’t – and even though I mainly cook for one, I think the larger basket would have been better. I will certainly buy the larger one next time.
I had another branded product of same price group but this one is far Superior and is digital, easier To Use. easy to clean, With A smart Modern Appearance. This One Out Ranks By A Long Margin. No Faults Found. Ideal For Two ~ Three Sensible Portions.
Caterer.!
This is great, my fitted oven went and died. I look and read about this air fryer, and it sounded great. I don’t eat a lot but the things I have cooked have come out great….I even gone on utube and see what other people have cooked. So glade I bought this…
I had never used an air fryer before and whilst I am still learning I have found it to be a very useful addition to my kitchen.
It doesn’t take up a lot of work top space and saves a load on preheating an oven.
Even frozen chips are done in about 7 minutes with no oil. Just sprinkle with seasonings of your choice before you pre heat for 5 minutes then air fry for 7 minutes.
Chicken drum sticks are succulent and tasty too.
A useful recipe book and an informative website and cosori cooking community for more recipe ideas shared.
This air fryer is fantastic, I thought I would just use it occasionally and was putting it away in a cupboard but I now have it on my kitchen worktop. I use it almost every day and so very easy to clean. The food actually tastes so much better too. I would highly recommend this product. We have the 3.5L as there are only two of us but for a family of four or more I would suggest the larger one.
We have only used it a few times so far, but the chips it makes are amazing ( healthier too as you use very little oil).
I’m looking forward to trying out the recipes in the cookery book that came with it. It is extremely easy to use with a nice clear lit up digital format. The capacity is just right for the 3 of us. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of getting an air fryer.
This is a great value machine. Ensure you look at tips which can be easy found on places like mouthtofork.com for getting the most from your machine. It’s easy to get it wrong if you don’t look for tips. I use foil in the bottom and a silicone mat with holes in the removable tray to catch fat when cooking bacon.
I had to return the air fryer because it was scratched, but the replacement was fine. I chose this fryer because it is widely used on various Internet food channels and generally gets very good reviews. I’ve not been disappointed. It is an upgrade from my smaller 1.5L different brand air fryer and it is brilliant. The 5L varient will be even better I imagine. Its a little noisier than my previous fryer, but it’s a dream to use. Food is tasty and moist. A digital food thermometer is a good investment. Cosori have great customer focus, with a lively Facebook page of customers sharing recipes, advice and asking questions. You can also email the Cosori chefs direct for advice. All in all, excellent.
I absolutely love this air fryer. Updated my old one of a different brand and the Cosori is amazing in comparison, we have the 3.5l which is big enough for 2, any more than 2 and I would go for the larger version. Easy to use, fab recipe book and clean up is a doddle, soapy water and a brush. Love love love i
The air fryer is extremely nicely designed, the digital display is nicely arranged. The basket is roomy, and It is super easy to use with all the pre-set buttons and help from the cheat sheet and it is also extremely easy to clean and it certainly looks nice. One bad point is the plastic button that releases the basket it is not to the quality of the rest of the machine. Frozen oven chips came out beautiful and crisp after only 20 minutes. Cosori also provide a useful 100 recipe booklet that contains a mix of entrees, sides, starters, breakfasts, and desserts and ingredient shame this recipe booklet has been designed for USA market.
For those two reasons (release button & recipe booklet) I would only give it a **** rating.
The cleaning part is a daily struggle for me
I’ve had an air fryer for around 4 or 5 years. It was good but decided to upgrade. This one is really a game changer. This one has so many settings which makes it more versatile. Also the basket is square which works much better than the old round one. It’s so great that you can quickly cook something without having to was a load of energy.
Probably use it everyday now.
Ok, so I’ve had it for four months and can confidently write my thoughts on this amazing bit of kit. I bought it to help me with an eating plan that I follow from being a member of ‘Slimming World.’ There aren’t many days when I have not used it for something! Easy to follow instructions soon had me turning out succulent chicken breasts, steaks and, surprise, surprise ..very tasty chips (fries) with no oil at all, just a couple of sprays with ‘fry lite.’ I’ve found it great for veggies too, corn on the cob works really well in this air fryer, in fact, everything I’ve tried has turned out really well. It allows me to enjoy the food I like, cooked in a healthy way which is beneficial for my weight loss journey. I can’t compare it with a previously owned air-fryer, but when the time comes to replace this, I’ll not even look for anything other than a CORSORI. Can’t say fairer than that hey? 🙂
This Air Fryer is great. Your food is done in half the time as an oven. You don’t loose any of the flavours. Since I got this I use it all the time. The timer is a godsend, no moor burnt chips as well as overdone Chicken Legs as well. I do a lot in this.
This is a great Fryer. I would recommend this Fryer.
Ok so this is a day one review which isn’t what you are supposed to do but…. I had bought the vonchef 1.5l air fryer as it was well reviewed. It does meat great but the basket is so small one potato’s worry of chips doesnt cook evenly even when regularly shaking the tray. This one is about the same price but the tray is massive and I can easily fit multiple potato’s in. The first batch of chips took twenty minutes and were amazing. Now I have two air fryers. So steak and chips tonight I think. Also the recipe book is really nice and the digital controls are very intuitive.
Food comes out tastier, quicker and definitely healthier than I ever expected, 5 stars, no regrets!
Very good fryer. Will cook a lot of fried and ‘grill’
foods with very little odours in house. Good for chips and burgers.
Base of bottom tray can fall off if you’re not careful, as the locking mechanism could be better designed. Fits easily work surface under upper kitchen cupboards.
I was very surprised when I started to use this air fryer because the chips tasted the same as deep fried. It is so easy to clean just pop it into the dish washer. It saves a fortune in oil as I only use a spoonful of olive oil to cook enough chips for two. Potatoes, olive oil. Salt and a shake of smoked paprika Cook for twenty five minutes and I defy anyone to say they are not as good if not better than deep fried chips.
I have cooked other veg and chicken and they have turned out great too.
I had a chip pan fire In my house. It was terrifying as it was well under way before the fire alarm sounded. My husband just forgot to switch the electric cooker off. The fire made a terrible mess. We had to have the kitchen repainted and the ceiling came down with the heat and It had to be replastered.
I bought this air fryer because it is a much safer way to cook fried food as it has a timer and uses such a small amount of oil. But the real surprise is how good the food tastes.
Buy one you won’t be disappointed
Must admit, I’m quite cynical about kitchen gadgets. However, after watching a few videos of people using air fryers on YouTube, I decided to take the plunge. I’m very pleased I did as this thing has changed the way I cook and not because I eat chips every day. There are a whole range of things it can cook, from bread and cakes to initial preparation of casseroles and curries. And it’s true, it really easy so easy to clean.
At times I wish I’d opted for the bigger one. On the other hand, it really would have been the beast overwhelming the kitchen surface. I’m content with what I have!
Sounds terrible but I bought it to cook the dogs chicken instead of using the large oven , since then however I have used it for steak , veg and to finish off part cooked bread which it does really well , on the downside its a lot bigger than I thought it would be as it has a 3.5L capacity but can live with tha
For a very long time, I wanted to buy an air fryer did not know which one to choose but Cosori won’t let you down
go for it
Very easy to use
you will really enjoy all the available options
Mainly Start/Stop/Pause & shake reminder
Preheat, keep warm
If shake reminder is available as an additional setting then we can use it when we go for the manual settings – which would be great to have – would like to have this option
Patience & Passion is the key to get the best results
Indian (South Indian) Fish & chicken
it came out really well quite close to oil frying like 75 to 80 % you will get feel like it is oil frying
– marination has to be good (you have to cut in many places)
– use only silicone tongs & silicone brush – because it is a nonstick pan
– apply oil little bit on both sides – to get a better taste – this will give you a feel like you are having fried fish & chicken
– turn them around after 7 or 8 mins – while turning apply oil using make sure you use a silicone brush
– low temperature & more time will give you best result
try different dishes, temperature, time & setting then after some time you will be able to know which one suits you the most
I do not follow the recipe book settings as I prefer my own timings & temperature
will try to add more stories & photos late
This is a fantastic air fryer. I wasn’t sure about getting one but so glad I did it’s just great. Don’t look at any other one I can’t imagine any better. Food is always crispy haven’t cooked my oven chips ,garlic bread, sausage rolls and many other things in my oven since I got it.
Bought the Cosori to go alongside my Tefal of a similar spec. I use the Cosori every day and I’m delighted with it.
It’s top heat setting is 205 celsius which is great for that extra crispiness in no time at all. As long as you don’t layer food too much it is very even and just needs a shake or two half way through with the case of chips and the like.
The fan is a little noisier than my Tefal but only a little. The only other minor point is that it shares a button for heat and temperature in manual mode which means you have to press a couple of more times to toggle between the time and temp setting.
It came with an air fryer recipe book as well which is very handy.
Overall, highly recommended.
It is fabulous thing…………..I had not thought about getting one but husband had found it so we ordered one (lockdown madness) and to be honest, I don’t know how we managed without one. I use it almost daily for toasted sandwiches, sausages, bacon, jacket potatoes, roasted veg………..
I have used a hot air cooker for years off and on. This is quite light in weight as we keep it in a cupboard. All the settings are easy to use . The basket etc. are very easy to clean . I prefer the basket to my old model . I did sausages /onion rings and then chips and all were enjoyable . I am impressed with this model.
Out the box and on the job! Excellent. Eating reasonably healthy fried food is possible, although it does double as a mini-oven, depending on what you’re cooking.
In dry-fry mode, the amount of oil you use is tiny. I used no more than a wipe of olive oil on some chicken thighs for my first session and the machine produced some of the best tasting meals I’ve had for a while. It seems to bring out the flavours of the ingredients and seasoning better with less fat. The baskets are also very easily cleaned, which is a bonus.
Now inspired to try more of the recipes in the (supplied) recipe book. My only (very minor) criticism is that the impressive shiny exterior is not the easiest to keep looking that way, but hey, this is a working tool.
I made chicken wings and the pound cake that was in the recipe book that came with it. I think the recipes are outstanding and not one was weird. I’m looking forward to trying most of them out. The matte finish makes the air fryer look modern and sleek, and it feels like quality when you use it. I like that it’s non-stick and easy to clean. The basket doesn’t have a mesh bottom which is a nightmare to scrub. The basket guard seems out-of-sync. It’s a cheap plastic thing to prevent you from dropping the basket–I’m just surprised it wasn’t made of something more sturdy like the rest of the air fryer. Overall, it’s a versatile machine and I’m quite in love with the darn thing. Love the recipe book it came with. I’m checking out other Corsori products.
Never owned one of these before, but keep seeing them advertised on shopping channel so thought I’d look into getting one.
So many to choose from on Amazon, but the reviews for this one stood out more than the rest.
I used it the first day it arrived and I’ve never looked back!
Instructions are clear and the machine is super easy to use with pre-programmed settings which you can adjust to your own needs. It comes with a decent recipe booklet which I’ve experimented with and been successful.
The machine itself is not overly quiet, it has a fan at the back which you must accommodate for when cooking [so don’t have it pressed up against anything] so the noise is on the same level as maybe a microwave.
The advantage of this machine is it lets you know when the food needs turning, it beeps a few times which is great. It automatically beeps and stops when the time is completed.
Food is cooked evenly [if you remember to turn it] and a lot faster than a traditional oven, with little or no oil, and the best part is, it doesn’t dry out the meat! Chicken, pork, and steak have been cooked to perfection, much better than I’ve cooked them before, you just put it in and leave it.
Highly recommend this and can honestly say I’ve used it every day. Definitely a great purchase that will never be a regret.
Straight out of the box, its very easy to set up…loads of options in terms of what to cook and how long to cook for.
We use it for a variety of foods such as tofu, chicken, chips, burgers, steaks, vegetables etc. Anything you can more less conceive there is an option to cook it….and if there isn’t you can manually set a time/temp and the machine will cook it for you.
Only thing i will say is if your cooking chips…you may have to adjust the time by about 5 or so minutes as it cooks these very quickly and if not careful…could burn.
Would love to go on about how good this machine is but that would be boring (haha). We personally love it and i’m sure you will too 🙂
I bought this to replace my tefal actifryer, it arrived on time and well boxed up. I bought the Cosori kit aswell. I found it actually cooks quicker than stated in the booklet. I’ve done chicken pieces, steaks and various potato dishes. It cooks dauphin oise potatoes beautifully only cooked with foil cover for 35mins at 180f, then remove foil and turn up to 200f for 10-15 minutes for a really crispy top. Have made a few cakes, but you need to either lower the temp or turn up slightly for shorter time. I’m trying the chocolate and beetroot cake (Mary Berry recipe) for a birthday cake with melted chocolate. Will let you know how it goes. I would thoroughly recommend the Cosori.
I’ve always avoided buying an air fryer as I didn’t think it could cook in quite the same way as my old deep-fat fryer. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
It does take longer to cook the food, but the results are worth it.
A friend in the US recommended this model & I’ve been really pleased with it from the first time I used it.
Controls are easy to use.
Build quality is good.
Cleaning is easy.
Not too large on your counter top.
Tells you when to shake the food, which is a great feature.
Comes with a recipe book which covers the settings you need to use.
It’s not silent when operating, but nothing you’d consider loud either.
For the price, I don’t think you can go too wrong & the warranty cover is good as well.
If you’ve not given an air fryer a try before, then I can highly recommend buying this as your introduction.
Nothing sticks to it, it beeps to let you know when to shake the basket, it heats up in 5 minutes.
I’m yet to find a dish that it doesn’t cook to perfection.
Browned food tastes great. That’s why oven cooked or fried food is irresistible. If, like me, you live alone it can seem like a waste switching on the oven. This air fryer does oven cooking with extra browning/crispness without having to wait for the oven to warm up. Clean up is very simple.
Main downside: It’s very loud in operation so wouldn’t be great in an open plan living scenario.
First of all, here’s what you need to know about this thing:
1. It’s cheaper to run than your oven.
2. If the food fits, it’ll cook.
3. You should get one.
So far I have done chips (easy), chicken, naan bread, nuggets, scampi, potatoes, yorkshire puddings… everything comes out great. Crispy yorkshire puddings, moist naan bread (providing you drizzle some water over first, as per cooking instructions), perfect chips, golden scampi… the list goes on.
I was worried by some of the feedback in the reviews, so let me address them:
1. Cooking times and burnt food? Yes, you’ll burn your food if you cook it as it’s stated on the food packaging. This is because this thing is much more efficient. Reduce cooking time by 25% or more (e.g. naan bread – just 1 minute instead of 4 as stated on the pack… fries – just 10 instead of 18 minutes) and check it half way through. This thing is immense and incredibly efficient and everything will cook a lot more quickly than in your old, conventional oven. This is a bit like the Instant Pot… you are learning from scratch and it’s unchartered territory. Treat it as such!
2. Appliance quality/plastic melting? Haven’t seen this one myself! Everything is working great and I’ve had quite a lot of use out of it.
3. Loses lights when pulling out basket? It’s supposed to do this. Put the basket back in.
4. Errors on the display? Not seen this. My unit works fine.
All in all – I’m very impressed! Not only is food going to cook and taste better but it’s going to save me money with cooking energy. Fantastic result.
The cleaning Is a doddle. Just a little wipe inside when cooled down and switched off with the drawers removed and just place the removed drawers in the dishwasher or bowl or whatever its that easy.
I’d recommend a sprits of spray oil on chips as they dont really produce their own juice but yet again it’s way better than litres of dirty oil an greasy steam.
Fantastic product one of the best purchases I’ve made.
This is a very useful piece of equipment which I have now used for 5 months. I mostly do basic oven cookery in it – fish and chips, pies, ready meals etc. but it is cooks well and in half the time. It is very easy to clean. I bought this model to fit in a cupboard in a very compact kitchen and it is perfect in that respect.
I used to own a tower air fryer, was getting a little old and dated but it did the job. After swapping to this you can see the difference straight away! It cooks the food much quicker and also gives everything a better more even cook
The number of times I had half soggy chips when cooking from frozen was a nightmare. Not anymore!
It looks great and at the price you can’t go wrong.
The recipie book is also fantastic, you will be surprised at how many things you can cook in this thing!
Looks great and cleans up nice and easy too. So happy with this purchase
The Airfryer is great & easy to use but whilst the free recipe book is also very good a book or instructions on how to cook pre prepared items would be good as I have found that you cannot cook things for the time & temp that it states on the packaging for cooking in an oven, so it’s a matter of trial & error.
I did a lot of research before buying this air fryer and this one came out best in terms of ease of use, cleaning and results. The more expensive fryers were either more difficult to clean or not as good at crisping food.
This fryer is half the price of other well known brands but it performs beautifully. The presets are great but you can cook so much more in it. I regularly use it to cook sausages and bacon for my fussy family and can get perfect results. Frozen chips are also great- in the oven I always end up with some burnt to a crisp while others are like limp noodles. In this the whole batch come out perfectly evenly cooked.
I’m still to experiment with other foods but have used this daily with perfect results each time. I rinse it with hot soapy water after each use – giving it a quick wipe with a sponge then drip dry ready for the next use. It doesn’t need any scrubbing no matter what I have cooked.
I highly recommend this air fryer and am so glad I did my research rather than buying the more expensive product I was initially going to purchase.
The only bad thing is not with the machine as this is very very easy to use.it is with the recipe booklet which is free with the machine. It is really geared up for the north American market. A lot of the product s you will have to look for or order on line, which isn’t really very good. I have written to the company but all they are saying is sorry ,and you can contact our chef’s,come on this isn’t really helpful, now 6 months later i love it, would recomend to any body, use it all the time
It is quite a large item which so far is my only adverse comment. Lining the outer basket with foil makes cleaning easier than it was with my previous air fryer.
Cooking wise, I’ve made some really tasty ‘fried’ chicken, home made chips, spring rolls and onion rings. I’ve found that the key to getting close deep fried onion rings and chicken is to use ready made bread crumbs from the supermarket. Overall, I’d recommend it.
No I don’t work for Cosori. In fact before looking for an air fryer, I’d never heard of the brand.
However, I saw the reviews from other customers of this item, and thought I would give it a try. The 80 price was about the maximum I wanted to pay (plus it had a 10 off discount so it only cost me 70) but seeing the price of some of the other “leading” brands I was wondering “just how good” one of these cheaper air fryers could be.
The basket is on the small side, but for our family of 4 we’ve not had any issues with capacity. Cleaning is a breeze too.
What I really want to rave about though is the convenience factor over an an electric oven. Our 3 year old Beko oven takes a good 12-15 minutes to heat up to 200C. It’s a pain. The air fryer can be used from cold, but ideally, it’s worth running the preheat – but at a maximum this takes 4-5 mins to get to the same temperature. As the cavity is so much smaller too, it requires less electricity to both heat it to temperature and then maintain it.
So far we have cooked chips (of course) both frozen, steak cut, french fries etc and also from scratch with potatoes. Burgers, pork chops, ribs, stuffed peppers, chicken wings, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, schnitzel, broccoli (sprayed with 1-cal oil and rubber with garlic). We use it virtually every day. Pretty much the only thing we use the electric oven for now is roasts and pizza.
Handy tip – if you’re doing burgers in the air fryer, bung the bun in for the last 30-60 seconds for a perfect toasting 🙂
Honestly it’s been a bit of a revelation for us.
Excellent quality so easy to use much better than my old one larger capacity put two fishfingers in and handful frozen chips for granddaughter done in minutes crispy golden brown chips and fish fingers no oil no mess have cooked perfect lamb chops pork chops roast potatoes and sausages all perfect and no greasy mess quick food oven chips frying chips any frozen chips done crispy perfect in minutes in fact I haven’t used my cooker once since I got this so easy to clean too a tip is do not leave damp or scrub it makes the pan go rusty as I found with my old one wipe out with kitchen roll or if grease has collected wash out and completely dry do not use abrasive items to clean or you will take the black coating of
Update. Have to say the company are an absolute delight to communicate with. They arranged for a replacement which arrived promptly. Their customer service is second to none.
Well I tried the belly pork recipe and let me tell you, lol if you only buy it for that it will be worth it.
It was really easy to use, literally childs play. Cleaning was easy, tbh that was the thing I dreaded the most as some of these gadgets can be a nightmare, and that’s why they end up gathering dust! I just had t take out the draw and wash both parts in warm soapy water, I don’t have a dishwasher but it washed with no problems.
happy customer, jus looking to see what else I can cook with it.
p.s. no steam in the room and no overpowering cooking smell, although you can smell some cooking towards the end.
Fancied an air fryer for some time as we don’t deep fry and not overly keen on oven cooked chips, so bought this Cosori 3.5l air fryer to ‘give it a try’.
This is possibly one of the best purchases I have bought in recent years and so easy to use.
I mainly bought it for chips, but soon realised that it does soooo much more than chips and is actually better than the conventional oven at most things.
Upon opening it, assembly was really easy, just remove some packaging and some stickers, a quick wash and away you go.
The First thing i did was chips (of course), which i used potatoes cut into chunky chips. These i boiled for 5 minutes then laid out to let the steam off and allow to dry (patted them with kitchen roll) whilst the air fryer was on its 5 min pre warm. I then placed them into a bag, added a little oil and agitated the bag to coat them all.
I put them into the air fryer and pressed the pre-set chips button (25 mins) and after each 10 mins took them out to shake them up until they were done.
These were every bit as good and crispy as fried chips.
Next i tried chicken thighs and drumsticks buy just throwing them in and pressing the pre-set again. These were better than when done in the oven as they still retained the moisture. In fact i later did a pork joint (10 mins at 200, then an hour at 160), which again was very juicy and the skin nice and dry.
Small potatoes are another great one. Wash and dry them, score them and then in a bag with a tablespoon of oil, garlic poweder, rosemary and tyme. Cook on the pre-set for chips, shaking the basket every 10 mins and they are amazing.
Jacket potatoes are another great thing to cook and take FAR less time than a conventional oven, and probably cheaper to use too.
Another great reciepe i tried, a bag of sprouts washed and cut in half. Season and cook for 20mins at 180 then and a handful of lardens. These were amazing and go nice and crispy (like chinese fried seaweed).
Over all i would highly recommend the Cosori, in fact i have done already and know of at least 2 people that have bought one based on my recommendations.
According to the manual, you get the best result by pre-heating it. The basket and the bowl both have a quality no-stick coating, it feels almost ceramic. Cooks very evenly, things like sliced bacon come out great – in the future, you’ll never want to cook bacon any other way. Whole chickens, chicken pieces or just breast pieces are moist and succulent, same goes for fresh fish. Chips also come out great whether homemade or store-bought as do jacket and saut potatoes. It will roast just about any root veg, carrots, parsnips etc. and cauliflower and broccoli and so on.
Cleaning is a cinch, no need for a dishwasher, just wipe the basket and bowl with a kitchen towel or wash with warm soapy water.
If you are in the market for an air fryer I would definitely recommend you try out the Corsori Air Fryer we are very happy with ours.

The quality of the Air Fryer is very good and the cooking results are great.
I have cooked pie, chips, sausages, chicken, scampi , pancake rolls and all has cooked very well and taste very yummy.
I have now ordered another one for my Grandaughter. I am very impressed.
Maybe if cooking for a family hit could be a little bigger, there is a 5.8 version but not available on Amazon at the moment, hopefully this will be available soon.
So far so good.
It arrived well packaged and on time – is easy to set up and use from the get go.
Cooking is quick and simple and everything I’ve tried has been good, especially sweet potato fries.
The machine looks smart, is reasonably compact and appears well put together.
Looking forward to the accessories arriving so I can try other stuff!
It’s super easy to use with all the presets and help from the cheat sheet and it’s also very easy to clean and it certainly looks nice so there is no need to hide it in the cupboard and forget all about it!
Update: it’s been a few now that I’ve had this machine and I still love it as much as I did when it arrived! Don’t be hesitant – just buy it 🙂
Many others baskets are not dish washer safe this certanly is great coating off teflon. Also great as its not round and bulky so fits nicely into a space
I made some arancini balls stuffed with mozzarella and black truffle sauce (see pic) and they came out perfectly.
I also cooked a short rib in it and that was bloody good too. Top marks from me
The air fryer is extremely nicely deisgned, I love the charcoal brushed look and the digital display is nicely arranged. The basket is roomy and easy to clean. It is not especially quiet during use, but not something you would object to. Frozen oven chips came out beautiful and crisp after only 16 minutes. So far I’m impressed and happy with my purchase. The additional extra year warranty is reassuring to have. This is a quality product at a great price.
