After experiencing so many problems with Wifi Powerline signal extenders, I decided to route a ‘hard’ connection from my hub to TV around the outside wall. It’s a perfect fix. Finally, no drop outs or buffering.
Plugged it in and it works as expected. Wasn’t expecting anything exciting to happen and I wasn’t disappointed.
Connections seem solid and transmission speed seems pretty much in line with what I’d expect. All good really 🙂
The product sadly didn’t work due to one of the end not connecting/clipping in however the customer service was amazing and refunded me straight away.
Well it’s an Ethernet cable! Bought it to replace cable with a broken latch. The old cable was Cat5, this Cat6 cable definitely seems to be faster – getting a faster response on browsing. I don’t do gaming so can’t comment on suitability for that but am sure it would be fine. The printing on the cable is somewhat fine but is there. The cable arrived in good condition nicely packaged.
I needed to move my router around the room to test the strength of my broadband speed. The cable, at 5 metres, gave me plenty length to move the router. There was an improvement in my broadband speed. In a quiet moment I will continue to experiment for the optimum spot. The price was reasonable.
The item arrived on time no issues and works to this day six months later.
Having to go around a large room to connect printers (via an Ethernet hub) to my PC this cable did the job just fine and has been working reliably to date. I like this style of connection clips too. I don’t do gaming so can’t give a star rating for that.
TV features are working fine since using cable to connect router to Talk talk TV box ordered at 3:45pm arrived the next morning before 11am.

Wire is exactly as advertised. Feels very sturdy. I used it to connect a Router to my laptop from the hallway to a room, the black finish looks great and the connectivity is very good. It plugs in firmly to the router and laptop and seems like it would take a lot for the clips to break. Highly recommended this cable.

Bought this for a TP Link WiFi extender in our Annexe Was a great help ! As without it our download speeds was 700Kbps-3Mbps and as you can see now its averaging 50mbps Well pleased as it’s doing the job providing a strong signal !

Really good lead, I use for my PS4 pro but needed a long one as my room is far away from my router. I play FPS games mainly and this cable has helped out a lot. With my last cheap lan cable I wa son 40ms response time on battlefield now I’m on 22ms. Overall very happy plus the lead is really durable and thick.
Bought for my daughters PlayStation 3 as the wireless internet signal kept dropping out, the Ethernet lead was easy to connect and perfect length and so far she hasn’t moaned at me, so all good.

Exactly what I was looking for; does the job I required and cannot fault the build or the quality. I’m no engineer but the data being streamed appears to go from one end of the house to the other as quick as flash!
I saw that my ping was rising these past few months so I decided to go for a wired ethernet adapter and cable. This seemed exciting as it was the only cable that was black and supported 1GB/s. I installed the wired ethernet adapter and put it into my router and I tested the speed of the cable. It came out as 273MB/s! What a speed! I recommend this to every PC gamer on Earth!
This cable puts through 100Mbps, not 1000Mbps as advertised. My other equipment is not the issue as other cables put through gigabit speeds without an issue.

Got a 10m cable to connect the modem/router to another router in a different room. The white colour does a reasonable job of blending into wall it runs along, it is still visible but far less of an eyesore than standard blue cables. Was sustaining download speeds of 250 Mbps through the second router, so cable is delivering acceptable performance.
No matter if you are a first time or multi time user of the cat rj45 cables they are a must by for home or office wired networking. These cables have never faulted me, and even though my cat tried, he could not chew through the shielding that was around the cable. Worth every penny and will buy again if needing another pipe of 20 meters.

Top quality cable that seems durable and reliable and works well. But it is quite thick and is not overly flexible. I would buy again, and the delivery and price are fine.
I like that it has a sort of protector over the bit of plastic on each end of the cable. That should help prevent it from accidentally being pulled in the wrong direction and snapped off, rendering the cable useless. Made the best of the silly design of Ethernet cables!
I wasn’t sure what was causing the problem with my router. The cable I ordered was only one of a number of potential problems I could identify. The price was very reasonable so I couldn’t lose much but, changed the lead and bingo, problem solved. Good price, fast delivery problem solved, perfect. .
The cable is very good, flexible and strong. I Haven’t had a single problem with it as of yet bar the black thing that keeps going underneath the ethernets clip, but I think thats just me pushing it oddly.
This cable provides an essential connection between my computer and smart t.v. to allow the t.v. to operate fully on Freeview. It works fine.
Top Quality cable.. sick of older style ones falling apart and then falling out… these appear to be extremely well made and at a great price.. time will tell how long they last with all the flexing I do moving the laptop around.. as prefer hardwired, over wifi… they also match the red design of my laptop which was an added bonus.
Item delivered within time expected. Outer casing seems a little thin but seems adequate. Using with a Sonos boost and as I have only just connected it am still waiting to see how good it is.
What can be said about a cable? It’s 15 metres long, very well-made and does the job I needed it for perfectly. I have bought other things from CSL Computer and found it excellent, as is this cable. Their customer service is outstanding! All in all, if you need an excellent quality Ethernet cable, why look elsewhere?
Needed a more stable connection for my smart tv upstairs as the wifi signal isnt strong enough. Made a huge difference to streaming. Was able to stream the world cup in ultra hd on the bbc iplayer app. Before this cable i could even get standard definition to stream properly.
The cable was bought together with HDMI over Cat 6 adapters. They were bought to carry an HDMI signal from a video camera that watching what was happening at the front during a church service. The HDMI signal was an input into the audio-visual equipment at the back of the church that worked through a projector to display the action on a large screen at the front of the church. The set up was easy and worked first time without a hitch and the exercise achieved all its objectives. The cable played its part in faultlessly.
I installed this cable to hard-wire my sons desk-top to the router – the wifi signal in his room poor. I was a little apprehensive having had to pull this cable through drilled holes in the joists and the floor boards and around a couple of corners but no problems at all.
If you plan to do the same underfloor installation I recommend going to the next length up from what you estimate you require – I measured and estimated 10m would do but went for the 15m and was glad I did as there was only 3.5m excess, which I coiled up and left behind my son’s desk.
great cable, does what it says on the tin… However bought back in November, it’s now May and where I unplug my laptop a lot, the clip to release the ethernet cable has broken off.
Soooooo glad that I bought this. I can’t believe it took my so long to get one. DOH! I have an extender which is good but this changes things big time. I run a Podcast which we do over Skype so need continuously good bandwidth. I have Virgin Broadband which is fast Wifi anyway, but what this has done is increased the Speeds from 113Mbps to 165Mbps.
Make sure to check the length you need and get longer just in case. Originally I ordered the 10m but quickly cancelled the order and got the 15m which was exactly what I needed.

10m is quite a lot. Anyway, it is a good quality product, even the connectors are working after being plugged and unplugged several times. In my opinion if you will handle it with some common sense and gentle hands it won’t snap off as some people are complaining about. 🙂
With all this technology and I can’t have Internet everywhere in the house, absolutely barbaric. So I had to resort to getting this longer cable so I can plug it in my ipad using a converter and walk around the house having Internet, it’s brilliant, now I’m able to sit on the couch which does not have to be in the corner of the room and browse the world wide Web to connect with my friend on MySpace.
These Ethernet cable’s are amazing, the difference in speed you get down these cable’s is so much faster than my old standard Ethernet cable’s. Excellent cat6 cable. I have run this between 2 HDMI to Ethernet converters, to send my virgin 6 box signal to my tv upstairs. Works an absolute treat. Cat5 just didn’t have the spec, this cat6 though, plugged it in and good to go. Picture quality and sound on tv upstairs is as good as downstairs, going through this 20m cable. It is sturdy but bends easily, not cheap and thin like some. Good buy, if I need another, I will get one of these from this seller.

I purchased CSL HDMI cables and was sooo impressed I purchased 2 x 10m cat6 Ethernet cables and at 10m lengths they stream 4k, 3d and oled smart tv without any buffering at all and another 4k tv all on at the same time and I only have virgin 50Mbps so not the fastest broadband. I have had other other cat6 & cat7 cables before costing 5 times the price of these and always had buffering. Even at peak times I can run up to 6 devices and never buffers. Do not hesitate just buy them and you will not be sorry or look back
Upgrading to cloud office phones meant that a wireless connection to the router was no longer good enough. Five metres of ethernet cable has connected the far end of our office to the 21st Century!
Updated: – Originally a 1-Star review was left by myself as the item looked perfect upon arrival but when connected directly to both a PC and a laptop, would not provide an internet connection and forced me to purchase one elsewhere. The company have kindly issued me a replacement cable that is working perfectly this time! The length is the reason I purchased this specific cable and there is plenty to spare. I bought a cable and when it came it wasn’t preforming as it should, this can sometimes happen but it’s very rare. I own another CLS cable and that one is great. Contacted CLS and they replied within hours, they sent me a replacement cat 7 cable that day, had to wait a little longer as it came from the factory and not Amazon this time but that’s ok. I would recommend CLS to anyone as the product is great and the customer service is excellent!!!!!
Great product after being concerned it night not be long enough to go from my hall where the router is to my living room behind the TV for use of streaming, really pleased it was more than long enough for the job. Streaming is good too.

Was using power line adapters and losing a lot of speed because of old house wiring, it used to be 68mbs tops and would sometimes lose connection, just ran speedtest with these plugged direct into the router (Virgin) and clocked at 158mbs despite being over a 20m cable so very happy. I’ve only got the 150mb package as well! Will have to properly route them through the loft and down into the bedrooms now but well worth it.

This product performs decently, I bought this for my unmanaged switch that connects from the router to the switch, and it was exactly the right length.
The reason why I gave it a 5 star, is due to the wire, it seems to be well made as I had bought a Ethernet cable recently same length and it snapped due to a bend in the wire, my current set up has the same bend.
Came in minimal packaging but works as advertised. Allowed to me connect my PC up via a long distance to my broadband router. In the days when everything in wireless this ensured that my PC has a good stable connection while not getting interference from other devices. Cable was easy to hide away behind desk and in a plastic conduit.
Overall very pleased and it worked as advertised. Giving speeds I would expect.
Does what it says on the tin very well. Used to run network through house from router to net gear switch onto the computer no problem. Reason why only 4 stars is that the picture shows a round cable and I received a flat cable which was not mentioned any where in the product description!
I have 53 meg guarenteed,but was only getting 1.7 meg.(I was using ethernet through my homes electricity cables).I bought this cable and now i am getting 53 meg a great choice and not an expensive item.Very fast delivery service as well.just tacked it onto the skirting boards and then under the carpets in the doorway,as my router is in the living room and the computer in the spare bedroom of our bungalow.
I purchased this for a virgin tivo box to be connected to the router and it works perfectly. A cat 6 is more than enough for the job but I chose this because I wanted to futureproof as 4k is on the horizon and if I need to I can simply use it for my pc or games consoles.
I recommend this cable because its great quality, has a great price and its more than enough for any task you require of a domestic ethernet cable.

It’s a Cat6 cable, it transfers all of the internets from your router to your computer. Kinda does what it says on the tin. Red plugs are a nice touch not that I ever seen them. Cable is of good quality too. Come’s in a variety of lengths, so yeah… Recommended.
My uni halls only have wired Internet this cable is not only long but delivers high speed performance. The fact that the cable is long allowed me to work from any part of my room. I got a router so I Could have Wi-Fi. My wifi is faster with this cable than the generic one that comes with router. Definitely can’t go wrong with cable
I bought two of these because I wanted to move my PC up to my bedroom and connect it to my TV downstairs using a HDMI extender. The first cable worked fine. I was able to use my PC for gaming on my TV downstairs and there was no loss of graphical quality or input lag. I got a second ethernet cable to connect the PC to the router and out of curiosity tried that in the HDMI extender. There were all sorts of graphic issues and dropouts which led me to believe that the second cable might be faulty somehow. I am using it as my router cable and it’s works fine for that so I’m not sure.
great bit of kit, more than long enough for what i needed, sturdy wire, struggled getting it into my laptop but it went in and worked nicely, mainly use it for my ps3 but the other night i streamed a movie from google play (on youtube) via my tv, using HMDI cable, and used the ethernet cable to try and prevent buffering, which worked a charm.
highly recommend this product for anyone whom doesn’t have ideally located internet sockets, such as myself where the tv is one side of the room and the broadband hub is on the other side where the phone and broadband plug is – would highly recommend this wire to anyone who needs a long cable, its very long and works like a charm

Make use of these cables for my PC, TV and NAS and haven’t had any issues at all.
This product was a fraction of the price that I saw similar length cables for in some well known shops. 20m gave me plenty of cable to run from my downstairs HUB up the stairs to my study where my PC is. I have lots left over that i have hidden away so that future movement is possible. I use this cable as I play games and need a reliable connection. So far i have had no trouble at all and my speeds and latency are as good as they should be.
My Purchased Cable forms a part of my Cat 6 – CCTV network, employed to carry the very large, very fast datastream between the devices and router etc.
Running Cat 6 cables between devices in the home is a pain, but well worth the effort compared with bogging down the WiFi. I therefore write my reviews based on the durability of the plugs and cable itself judged during the install.
The fairly low profile design of the ethernet plugs is good as less effort is needed to get through walls etc and a quickly applied strip of insulation tape is good enough to protect the plug from damage as it is being shoved through a 9 inch wall, or pulled through trunking etc.
Sourcing network cables is like Russian Roulette – but after my install experience and just over 3 months in use I can say I am pleased with these and will purchase again.
Does exactly what it needs to. Currently used to connect games consoles to a powerline adapter and there’s zero degradation in the connection. My only niggle would be the protective covers, which can make moving the cable from one device to another a little fiddly (you have to squeeze rather hard to remove them from ports), but it’s fine as they prevent ethernet’s notoriously flimsy connectors from breaking. Very happy with my purchase.
Connectivity! Too often the LAN leads supplied by interrnet provders are skimpy and poor. From the moment of connecting this good solid lead, it was obvious that it was a winner. Good solid postve click on conection, and improved performance that was obvious to see. Nice one, CSL-Computer
The day aftr fittiing the first CSL Lan cable, I have ordered a second to replace a weedy one supplied by an ISP company. There is NO QUESTION that my computer net connection is much faster than using either the old lead or wireles. Enough said???

I would recommend this product for connecting gigabit enabled devices. I am getting great speeds copying files between various laptops and my NAS – in fact I think the bottlenecks for me are now the write speeds of both my laptop and the NAS.
I bought this cable to use it with Steam Link. I could use wi-fi but the cable connection is recommended. I tried wireless connection anyway, but it was too slow and I was getting ridiculous lag. Decided to go for a cable connections and needed a decent ethernet cable.
I don’t remember using any CSL products before, but the good reviews and the design convinced me to give a try.

The cable is great and is of high quality, I have ran it under floorboards and carpets and I’ve put it in some tight locations where it needs bending which will also have lots of pressure applied to it as things are going back on top of it!

Very impressed so far with CSL – 15m – CAT.6 Ethernet Gigabit Lan network cable that I have been using at home for several weeks. It’s a sturdy piece of cable that I have run under the house to connect directly to a Sony BDP-3500 Blu-ray player. I read the reviews against other options and plumbed for this cable based upon the reviews and experience to date is positive.
Not sure how many cables we have broken for various reasons, but we had to get this to replace the most recently broken one. My hubby was quite pleased with it.

Does exactly what it should. The clips ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely fastened to the router/PC. The colour is black so will blend well into dark backgrounds and still looks good on light backgrounds provided you do a good job of straightening the cable out. For CAT6 the cable also seems thinner than other ones I have, which means if you fasten/tack them to walls you can use rather small cable clips and they will still hold. Nice design.

Good quality cable, did the job of running a connection through our garage where the DSL comes into the house. We wanted our modem to be as near to the where the DSL line came into the building as possible. I used this Cat 6 to bring the connection from the modem in the gauge into the house, in the house we use a power line system, which we cannot use in the garage as its on a different circuit.
It is what it is and does it well with style. It is a good quality product. The plugs have a solid feel to them and look like they’re durable. Nothing looks ready to snap off. The cable it equally robust. It’s picture does it justice: if it will be visible, it won’t be unsightly. Is providing me with high speed internet, due to being in a wifi deadspot within my home. Straight pnp as expected.
I am delighted with the CSL cable as it has made a huge difference. The original cable provided by BT to connect their wireless hub to their router was too long at 3 metres and clearly of inferior quality. My internet connection was dropping out and is now solid. In addition, the courtesy and attention shown by CSL for such a small purchase was also outstanding.
With gigabit home routers becoming more common this is well worth to cost of stepping up to cat6 cables for home use, the limit to the length of of cat6 isn.t really an issue unless of course you live in a mansion. This particular cable seems to be of excellent quality and works fine for me 7 bits of tech running direct from the router or a gigabite unmanaged switch box
I bought CAT 5E cables on ebay but they were fake.. I then decided to go on Amazon and buy this considering the good reviews. I have 200mbs Virgin Media and to fully be able to reach anywhere close to those speeds I bought this… And perfect ! I reach those speeds with ease.
(I am currently using a gigabit ethernet USB port which is connected to my laptop.)

ot too much to say. The cable is as good a quality as any other cable I have had and most importantly I have had no issues in use. Cat 6 gives some future proofing over cat 5 and given almost no difference now in price now so I see no reason to buy cat 5. Note that this is unshielded, if you are likely to be near an area of interference you might want to go with shielded.
I bought the 5m cable to replace an old piece of ethernet cable that connected by PC running Windows 10 to my NAS box via a 1Gbps router. I tried to do a test on the old cable first copying a 45GB file from the NAS to my PC. It started copying at about 80MBps but quickly dropped to about 5 and then bumbled along between zero and 10. I got bored with that test so replaced the cable with this new one. The transfer was rock solid at about 113 MBps so a very good result. Very pleased with the new cable.
Great length, very sturdy and the connectors are very well made. All making up a really good solid cable. Speeds seem constant and fast. I can’t say I’ve had any problems with it.

Excellent service. Suitably packaged and delivered promptly. Required this to link modem to a free-view DVD player. No problems at all. Cable is reasonably flexible and easily curved through a gentle 90 degree bend. Worth protecting the end with cling film when routing the cable. Set most of its length in trunking with a press clip-on front. The end terminals are too large to pass through such trunking. Works perfectly for stated use.
I’m happy to say, that after a good deal of use over the last few weeks, this product has done nothing but the best of its job.
For a 10m CAT.6 cable it does a very good as a link for a 1 gigabit Ethernet network link. providing the full link speed which is about 80-85MB/s under real world conditions, which is perfect if you need to link multiple computers together.
As for latency, there is some but not nearly as much as would be commonly found in a wireless network, so it’s also ideal for using as a Link for LAN gaming or any other low latency tasks.
Overall I’m very happy with this product.
Well made and happy with initial results: I intend to install this as a replacement for an occasionally glitchy TPLink 200Mbps Ethernet over Power solution, from modem to wifi router. Initial test, from tablet to wifi router then via this cable to modem, shows an internet download speed improvement from 13 to 15Mbps. I’m reasonably confident it will provide a more reliable connection longer term.
Ordered late afternoon and it turned up the next morning – excellent service.
Cable is excellent and allows really fast data transfer over my network, made an immediate difference and I really like the fitting itself as it routes well and makes it really easy to remove the cable when needed as the clip is easy to use and not stiff and fiddly – that might seem a minor detail but if you need to patch a cabinet it’ll not leave you with sore fingers and thumbs as most cables will.
Excellent cable and would definitely buy again from this supplier.
The cable is reinforced internally with a plastic divider to give it strength and separate the four lots of two wires, this makes it very easy to cut and reconnect as it keeps its rigidity even when held together with electrical tape.
I bought this cable to run out of my wall next to the router downstairs and up the outside wall, the colour makes it very inconspicuous and the speed and quality of the cable are perfect, even after cutting it and reattaching.
What can I say? It’s an ethernet cable. It does the job! I bought the 25m cable and am very happy with the length and data transfer speeds.
When the cable arrives, it is wrapped round and takes a little bit of time to straighten out.
I got the black and red colour as it matches my laptop and mouse. I found its a lot easier to see over my light coloured carpets so my family won’t trip on it.
Our house is not particularly wifi friendly, so after much frustration with the wifi signal dropping in my room, I did some maths and decided this cable would be exactly the right length for me.
Turns out my Maths was right and I can now stream cat videos without interruptions. Later bought one for housemate as well but he watches weird videos of people making funny sounds which helps him sleep.
I bought this 3m cable to replace the yellow one I was using between my BT Openreach box and Huwei TalkTalk router as it had started occasionally cutting off internet if the Openreach box or cable was moved in any way. Pushing the cable fully home disconnected the signal, but pulling back slightly was enough to get it going again and keep the internet connected without any further bother.
This new patch cable has solved the problem completely and been perfect for just over a year.
The cables are thick and well shielded against electrical interference, and the white colour makes so much sense, it is very well disguised if you want it to be hidden when connecting up that new tv set.
I ordered four items, all from different third party suppliers, required for setting up a friend’s home broadband. The Ethernet cable from CSL-Computer was the first to arrive. It does what’s required of it and was reasonably priced. Subsequent to receipt I received an e-mal from the company with three attachments two of which were in German. This seems a bit pointless as I’m British, don’t y’ know.
Therefore I am more than happy to recommend this cable and the seller, you won’t be disappointed!
