I’ve not used it for cooking as yet but tested it out with a cup of water. It heated up the water as it should.
It’s not easy to set the dial to 1 minute though .
The requirement from my sister was for a microwave oven with knobs on, as she is a technophobe and cannot operate digital items.
This fitted the needs and was of a reasonable price for a named manufacturer, so was bought.
She seems to be ok with using it, I haven’t heard any complaints from her.
I cannot really rate it on her behalf, so may have given fewer or more stars than she would have.
I would say that it was a worthwhile buy.
All of our previous Microwave ovens (3) had Enamel painted interiors, which over a relatively short period of time started to rust, and the enamel coating flaking off, these were then scrapped even though they were still working.
This Daewoo microwave was the first reasonable priced model I found. Here’s hoping it will last longer.
I purchased this as a spare. I’ve only used once & it’s fine.
I wanted 800watts microwave, but only have limited bench space, so this compact unit fitted the bill.
A simple to use microwave with the benefit of a stainless steel interior. The mechanical timing control is very inaccurate for short period timing, as others have reported. I find it best to use a separate digital timer so as not to under/overcook items. I much prefer microwaves with digital timers for accuracy, but they do not seem as long lasting as mechanical timers, so this purchase was a compromise. It has the benefit of a 3 year warranty.

I brougth my microwave early December 21 and was surprised when I received it. Fristly when order it I had been expecting the inside to have a white coated as per the photo but I received a metal inside also so this was a nice surprise.Was not impressed with the silver piece of card board inside which I thought was packaging only to find out from the manual it must be kept inplace, Had similar on the old one but it was sercurly fixed this is not. I saw from other reviews of issue of it been noisey. I found no issue with this once in use, however I did find it noisy once finished which is the built-in fan doing it’s job but i soon relised this is only on for a total of 3 minutes then stops. My previous microwave kept going for 16 years, so I am hoping this can make at least 10. All in all a good little microwave for the price.
This is an idea product and is very generous space wise.
This is the best microwave I have ever used. So easy to use.
Convection oven is awesome. Baked an awesome Rhubarb Crumble yesterday.
Grill is great also. Love the fact you can set timer so less likely to burn your food. Cheese on toast is so easy now.
Much better than a basic two-knob microwave, but not crammed with features I’d never use. It cooks evenly.
The manual is in decent English and easy to read, but it doesn’t explain what the various symbols which are displayed on the LCD panel mean.
The legends next to the controls can be difficult to read due to the light reflection off the shiny metal front panel.
This is the second Daewoo microwave we have bought in the last 5 years. The quality is really excellent and very easy to use. With a number of settings from full power all the way through to defrost. Very good value for money and the colour to match our kitchen.

Good basic cheap microwave if you haven’t got much room just want to defrost or warm up food
