Best 4 slice toaster I have found .
I like the style ,the colour and the way it toasts evenly . It’s easy to use and has dials to set so that the toast is done the way you like it .

Lovely desig
This is such a smart looking toaster, although initially I felt like I needed a pilot’s license to use it. It has the look of a great gadget if you you are a gadget person, but in reality it still only toasts things.

The toast came out evenly cooked and just right with the dial turned to 4. It was also so much quicker than my old toaster!
I’d spent a while looking at toasters, all the other toasters of this caliber were so much more expensive, actually the beige one I purchased was 30 cheaper than the blue one. I’m not fussed about colour so I opted for the beige, I’m glad I did, it is really stylish.

I needed a new toaster, after 11 years old Tefal failed. Amazon run Warehouse promotion 30% off, so I looked at the list of available products and bought two, this one (Warehouse price 29) and Breville VTT942 New York Collection (Warehouse price 35). We tested both for some time and it was difficult to decide which one to keep. In the end De’Longhi Icona Vintage won, because it’s smaller and it’s easier to clean. Also, it toasts bread more evenly.
It’s not too big, matches my kitchen colours and toast bread fine. We tested all functions: bagels, defrost, re-heat. We tested different power settings to work out which are optimal. I decided, that I prefer to toast bagels on both side, instead of using bagel function.
Setting 3.5 is optimal, bread is nicely browned but not burned. I would not recommend using anything above 4, unless you want to run and switch off your fire alarm. On pictures, setting 3 and then on another burned toast at 6. And then picture of all 4 slots in use.

The timing works well and if toast isn’t done enough, it’s easy to put it on for just half a minute more. It takes two halves of a bagel really easily and they are easy to retrieve once cooked. It takes quite thick slices of bread and is fairly deep but, like most toasters, I am not sure it would take a whole slice and toast evenly. Depends on the bread size, of course! We mostly use rolls. On the odd piece of brown, bought bread, it has taken the whole slice with ease. You can cook just one or two pieces at a time and these can be put down on the right or the left side. Both slots will depress, on either side, when the handle is pressed down.

High Quality and colour as shown in picture
Just very pleased with my purchase. Easy to clean and use. I wanted some colour in my kitchen and this came just perfect! I bought the matching kettle as well!!
I really like that it is not plastic and it’s metal which will last.

Best toaster. Replace for first one we had which lasted seven years. Used daily, and then only one slot failed. Well worth paying extra for its reliability and longevity.

The toaster looks great (Think Lambretta or Vespa styling) and when its paired up with the matching kettle it lifts the look of the kitchen nicely.

Best toaster I have ever owned
I feel really lame getting excited over a toaster, but this one honeslty has everything we are looking for. It actually fits all the bread we buy at Tesco (Hovis Medium) and we love having the spring loaded release when it is finished. If anything, the toaster works too well and we find that having it on setting 2 works a treat. I know the style of this toaster isn’t for everyone, but if you want a good quality product that actual toasts all sorts of bread, look no further.
Quality is fantastic
This is most certainly the best toaster I have ever had. Apart from looking good and timeless. The toast is just done perfect and fairly quick. We also got the Kettle. A bit expensive but I’m sad they don’t seem to make more kitchen things that match. It’s got a quality reminiscent of the things that were made that were built to last.

Great toaster. Reheat tends to continue to toast the bread as opposed to keeping it warm, sometimes ends up burnt toast. Would go again when this one wears out.

A genius masterpiece!
The best!!!!! Love it! The price was so good that I bought it again, but for my son. It is absolute treasure in our kitchen, easy to use, no mess, temperature regulated, big enough to serve 2 people in breakfast, makes an emphasising statement in any kitchen. Bravo Delonghi . Recommend to any one.
It’s a beast compared to our previous two slices toaster, but so pretty! It does take up a lot of space on the counter, as you’d expect. I haven’t used the all the options yet but the classic and frozen mode work reall well. Really happy, feels like great quality.

The toaster itself looks beaut and works as it should and exactly as per the description.
The bagel function is neat and the wife loves it.
It takes full Warburton toastie bread slices, no need to rim and toasts them perfectly.
We bought it in the sale via Amazon and we are well chuffed with it, really compliments the kitchen, retro and coll looking.

Much quicker than my old one. Bagel mode is good for toasting things like burger baps. Have not had it long enough to need to clean.

It also heats evenly and can handle medium thick slices very well. The retro design doesn’t get old and the finish is very durable. I picked this up in cream for my new place and it goes beautifully in the new kitchen – and its literally half the price the other colours go for. Here’s to many more years of epic weekend breakfasts with fresh crusty bread!
