Quieter than my other Penguino
Works well for a larger room and is noticeablely quieter than my other similar power penguino. Great for a bedroom, but remember none of these are as silent as a wall mount split system with the compressor outside.
Well made and works.
The unit is well made and works as described.
There is some noise when in use – but anything with a fan is going to make some sound, in my opinion it’s acceptable, the quiet mode also helps.
We found leaving a window or door slightly open helped the unit to work better – especially if the room is well sealed from draughts.

Full disclosure, I bought this from the amazon warehouse in January for 360 as it was missing a remote and the box had been opened… I just bought a remote from ebay and the unit itself looked brand new!
For that price point and compared to other units, this is very modern and sleek looking, it is chunky so you need a good amount a space and the hose isn’t the longest but works fine for all my windows.
It does a fantastic job of chilling the room down but the real test was how it performed in a very hot apartment when it’s 38 degrees in and outside and I’m pleased to say this worked a charm, pretty large open plan living room and kitchen was cooled to a relatively chilly 18 degrees and didn’t show any signs of struggle.
Is this a silent air-conditioner? No, it’s quite loud, especially when the condenser kicks in. However compared to other units I’ve had, this is much easier to zone out from, I had this thing on two feet away from my face all night during the heat wave and I slept pretty well and let’s face it, when it’s 38 outside, you’ll put up with any noise or disruption to feel cool again.
Really happy with this purchase, would I pay the best part of 800 for it though? Maybe, if you consider the Dyson fan that doesn’t actually condition air is almost 500 and the build quality of this is fantastic and also acts as a dehumidifier too, not to mention when you are stuck in the middle of a heatwave with no escape, I know i would have paid more!
It’s worked well at bringing the temperature down. Sometimes requires a minute or two before the compressor kicks in. Hardly silent, but compared to some units it’s not horrifically loud. Expensive, but for the room-size it’s cooling, seems to have a reasonable power draw. Works well to cool the room down at the end of the day before bed, rather than for continuous use.
Ultimately, I don’t regret the purchase – especially with > 30 degree days on the horizon this week.
Quiet for a Mobile Air Con, looks good, thoroughly pleased after running it 24/7 for 30 days.

Bin mega happy mit dieser Investition und hoffe, dass es sich ber die Jahre bezahlt macht. Keine schlaflosen Nchte mehr, wenn sich die Wnde ber die Zeit so aufgeheizt haben, dass man die Wohnung auch nachts mit Lften nicht mehr heruntergekhlt bekommt.. bevorzugt wrde ich das Gert in dem Raum laufen lassen, wo ich mich gerade nicht aufhalte, da Khlleistung nunmal im Zusammenhang mit dem Geruschpegel steht und man sich dann entscheiden muss, was einem grad wichtiger ist: schnelle/starke Khlung dafr aber Geruschpegel oder bisschen Khlung mit wenig Geruschpegel. Ich glaube, das ist unabhngig von Hersteller und Modell unvermeidbar.
Auch mit vermehrt Homeoffice durch/seit Corona wird es zu Hause im Hochsommer und bei Hitzewellen nun angenehm 🙂
Not worth the money
First one leaked and was replaced, vents are on the top so you can not feel the air blowing, my advice would to be get a one that blows from front at half the price of this waste of money
En plein t c’est apprciable d’avoir la clim mais qu’est-ce que a fait du bruit.
Il est pour autant un des moins bruyants du march. Dans l’impossibilit d’avoir une autre solution pour un nouveau n en priode de canicule : je valide.
Une prise d’air vers l’extrieur est quand mme pratique avoir chez soi.

Hier sind wir auch schon bei fr meine Bewertung einzigem Minuspunkt. Deshalb ist es fraglich, ob die Bezeichnung “Silent” hier angebracht ist. Fairer Weise muss ich sagen, das ich hier auch keine Vergleichsmglichkeit habe. Die Funktionen sind super und einwandfrei, khlt wirklich super, alle Modi klasse. Die Anmutung ist sehr gut, die Mobilitt dank der Rollen und durch die Fernbedienung auch ohne Aufstehen gut bedienbar. ber eines muss man sich im klaren sein, ein Monoblockgert ist immer laut. Daher im Schlafzimmer keine Chance. Am besten vorher alles runterkhlen und dann ausschalten und ins angenehme Schlafzimmer. Im Wohnzimmer fernsehen geht, aber auf Dauer auch nervend. Ein gutes Gert mit in der Natur der Sache liegendem Nachteil.

Great product from a great brand
Can’t fault this AC unit. It comes with every possible attachment, really easy to use and cools the room down quickly. The RealFeel feature is also great – sucks the humidity out of the room.
Don’t expect super quiet functioning – none of the air-con units are as quiet as they make out.
Also – it was cheaper on other websites but Amazon would not price match so I paid over the odds for it.
Overall – very happy with it.
Excellent AC, but it's not "silent"
It really helped keep the home office cool during the heatwave, and I often use it to keep the air cool and dehumidified even on a cloudy day.
You’ll definitely want earphones if it’s running in the same room as it is really not very quiet (even on the lowest fan-only mode it’s a lot louder than your average freestanding fan) which is expected for an AC unit this powerful, but it shouldn’t be called “Silent”!
Efficacité
Utilis depuis plusieurs jours, avec une sortie clim ddi (dans un mur extrieur) cette clim fait le taf, dans des combles amnag je perd quasiment 2/ heure, une fois la temprature souhait atteinte le mode ‘silencieux’ baisse nettement le bruit mme si je pense qu’il serait trs difficile de dormir cot.
nb : ne pas tenir compte de l’avis de ‘Florence’ qui espre faire baisser la temprature fentre ouverte en plein soleil 😀
Sehr gute Klimaanlage
Ich habe lange berlegt ob ich mir die Klimaanlage kaufe. Manche Rezensionen mit dem Hinweis das sie so laut ist, hat mich vom Kauf abgehalten.
Als ich das Angebot gesehen habe und meine alte Klima keine ausreichende Leistung brachte, habe ich mir die Bestellt.
Lieferung ging schneller als angegeben.
Ich war echt berrascht wie leise diese Klima ist. Mit nur 50db bei voller Leistung ist echt ein sehr gutes Ergebnis. Nicht so wie bei den ganzen anderen Rezensionen.
Die Khlleistung ist top. Innerhalb 1 Stunde ist die Temperatur von 25 auf 22 Grad gefallen. Raumgre 20m2.
Ich bin mega zufrieden.
Mir hat das wieder mal gezeigt, dass man nicht so viel auf die Rezensionen geben sollte.
