Well made, lots of heat for a small unit and VERY quiet – Ignore the reviews that claim it keeps pinging as this doesnt make a sound!! Great for a small office – mine is 10 by10 feet and its toasty !! Buy it you wont regret it and may buy a second larger one for my spare room

Bought this for my daughter’s 3 x 3 bedroom, she’s studying at home & I didn’t want heat the whole house with the central heating… We place it near the centre of the room & within an hour it’s nice & cosy… it certainly works for this sized room so would highly recommend

I’m so happy with this small heater. It’s silent and is exactly the easy to use heater I was hoping it was going to be, to warm up the bedroom once the heating has clicked off. I have a new baby and didn’t want a heater that would be too hot but this is perfect.

Fantastic heater bought for utility. Perfect size, very maneuverable and remains on low heat no problem. Thermostat works well and easy to manage. Slight issue that once it reaches temperature the light goes out so not obvious it is powered on. However would still purchase again. Now have 3 in various sizes.

It is a good portable radiator BUT the omitting heat only points upwards rather than sideways. If you’re buying this as a heater that’s going under your desk for work then it’s amazing but for home ma I give it an 8 out of 10.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA great little machine at an affordable price (bought for 49.97). Easy to use and takes the chill out of the room nicely.

Now that it’s getting ridiculously cold, I actually bought this to use in my bedroom in lieu of a wall mounted radiator as the dust that collects on them always irritates my breathing. Although this machine is, at its core, just an oil radiator, the fact that it’s freestanding means it’s easy to clean and prevents the burning smell I so often experience with a wall mounted model.

I notice a lot of reviews claim that it’s too noisy, but I can honestly say I find it to be super quiet! As someone who often uses various (and far noisier) oil heaters when staying in Asia however; it may be that I’m just too used to the clicking noises of these little gadgets and therefore simply don’t notice.

It does take a while to heat the whole room, but personally I find the medium “4” setting to be the most comfortable as the highest setting of “6” is just far too hot! I currently use this heater on a wooden table next to an air purifier which definitely helps to send the heat around the room quicker and even out the overall room temperature.

All in all, it’s a hefty and substantial machine. Just like a traditional radiator though you need to be careful not to touch the ceramic it as it gets super hot which means it’s definitely not suitable around young children, but it’s also substantial enough to not have to worry about it tipping over etc. I’m so glad I bought it!

Great little alternative to a traditional wall-mounted radiato

I was looking for a small heater into the office, under my desk, between or under my knees. It is just the perfect size, power and temperature. It is still very cold (16-17 deg C) in the office, but now I don’t feel frozen. It is surprisingly light, so it is easy to move despite the lack of wheels.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThe place I live in is lovely, but its also cold as well. Now that I am working from home thanks to Covid-19 I wanted to get some more heat in. Originally I bought one of the Ceramic Hot air heaters that you here about (2000w) and it was rubbish, the heat did not seem to travel enough for it to make any difference at all.

My neighbour then bought this ones big brother and I was rather impressed by it so much so I bought this one, and I have to say its has worked. Its height and weight means its very portable and the cost is really low (500w) meaning if I leave it on all day then it will cost around 50p.

It will not heat a whole room, that’s the worse thing can say but it will heat the part of the room you are in.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFeally love this little oil rad.

My son has a small box room and I wanted 3 things out of an oil rad.

To be compact. This is a really nice size thats easily tucked out the way.

To give enough heat to take the chill off. This does that easy as his room is quite small.

To be quiet. Many oil rads have a click on the thermostat you would hear from space which is intrusive during the night. This is probably the quietest we have heard. You still hear it but its quite soft and muted.

So overall this ticks all our boxes and does so whilst only taking 500watts at full power. The heat can be adjusted in 6 levels and theres a large on/off switch with visual indicator for power on.

All things considered this is a well priced and featured heater that fits our purpose perfectly. I am thinking of getting another for his sisters’ room.

I wanted a compact radiator for our small baby’s room that was safe (it’s carpeted). I did a bit of research online and this was one of the best ranked. I am glad we purchased this. This ticks all the boxes: compact, nice looking, and safe. It takes a bit of time to get warm, but once it is it provides a very nice warm room, with no strange smells. I will get one for our kitchen soon since it also gets a bit cold and there is no central heating there.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI highly recommend these little heaters. They are sturdy, take about 10 minutes to heat up then give off a lot of heat, and are cheap to run being 500W. depending on what you pay per KW hour its about 7 or 8 pence an hour. I’ve had one for over 10 years and it still looks new and works perfectly. Initially there can be a few “crackling” or “crinkling” noises as the oil heats up,but that doesn’t last long. The thermostat is useful too as you can set it to blast out heat or just on a warmer setting to take the edge of a chilly room. I’ve just bought 3 more.

I purchased a cheap 20 quid oil radiator, a black and decker and this delonghi. All 600w each. The design of this radiator meant that you could noticeably feel more heat coming off this product.
No assembly required. The feet are part of its stylish radiator fin unibody design.

I use the heater in my small hall where there is no heat at the moment. At its lowest setting it takes the chill off the room and helps to keep the other rooms warmer. It is neat and compact fitting in a small alcove. It is easily transported to other rooms and would also be useful in my outdoor log cabin. Clearly this size heater isn’t suitable for a large room but if the larger ones are as efficient and effective as this the they too would be a good heater to try.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI researched different types of heaters of many different brands. For a small space, oil filled is the way to go, especially if its needed longer term rather than just an hour of heat here and there. (for that you’d be better off with a fan heater, especially in a poorly insulated environment) The oil in the heater stays warm therefore continues to radiate heat whilst dormant making it pretty economical. After comparing the different brands I went with this one, it was definitely the right choice, its great quality, very sturdy (dimensions and weight are in the product description) and I’ve been running it constantly for about 5 weeks with no issues, keeps the space a constant temperature, flicks itself on and off as needed. Had I known how effective and reliable this was before buying I would have been willing to pay double the price.

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersThis is a really great little heater! Considering its only 500w this oil filled radiator really does manage to heat up our 13.5 square metre living room, in fact we often have to turn it down a little as it gets too warm!

I have been keeping an eye on our electricity usage since getting this heater and although we are using more, it only amounts to about 2 or 3 units per day. Its very economical since the built in thermostat means that its only actively heating until it reaches whatever setting is chosen, then it will switch off but continues to stay warm until the temperature drops again and it begins to heat up. The thermostat dial goes from 0-6 and for our room, setting no 2 is just right.

This heater has turned out to be far better than expected and much more cost effective than I was anticipating as well. Win, win!

Golden Review Award: 115 From Our UsersI bought this one and a cheaper one at the same time last week, boy do I wish I’d just got two of these! It’s great maximum heat for minimum costs.. its quality is high, the design is small, unobtrusive and most importantly safer than standard little oil filled heaters, with a wider base it makes accident knock over much less likely, good for me with clumsy kids! On a geeky note I trialled two just to see myself, this one is 500W and warmer than the other traditional small oil filled heater which was half the price but with an 800w output for less heat. Most oil filled and convection heaters are around 2000w so if you are poor like me that’s a big deal, you could use 4 of these in seperate rooms and heat 4 rooms for the same cost in electricity as heating just one room with a standard heater. I do not have central heating so this is the best option for me, since my landlord isn’t going to be putting central heating in anytime soon.

I give this 5 stars as I think the quality is good, the design is simple but practical and it does a good job of heating a room for less money than an average heater. I genuinely wish I’d just bought two of these rather than wasting money on a cheapy, it maybe double the cost but I think in the long run 48 isn’t a bad price given the quality and long term savings…

Once it gets going, give it 10 minutes to radiate across the room. Right now my window is open and am I so pleased. Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAll seems to be good with this small heater. I have only a tiny structure which it serves, and it seems to do the job very well, despite being a low power item.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’m using this to supplement the heating ’cause my landlord is too tight for double glazing. I’m not too sure how this would perform in a shed.

    BUT

I’m in a big flat with high ceilings and this has made a noticeable difference. No more ice chill by the window. In fact, it’s too hot now.

I thought about the 1.5kw and 2kw random-brand heaters at the same price point, but I reckon this is packing efficiency with it’s 500w.

I’m sure I made the right choice.

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersHad it for 7 months now. Great wee heater. Keeps our motorhome about 10 degrees warmer than outside. Used overnight in winter, when temperatures were below zero. Kept the van plenty warm enough while sleeping. At other times of year, when temperature is above 10 degrees outside, keeps the van toasty. It will not keep the van warm enough in winter for sitting in, but didn’t expect it to… It’s only 500w.

Great size and weight for carrying around and rounded edges make it safe to use when the van is full of kids and the dog. Paid a bit extra for the Delonghi over the cheaper heaters. Very glad I did.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersClassy looking, well designed.Just received it within 48 hours of ordering.Done a trial run on max output,it took 5 to 10 minutes to reach full output.Very impressed.I have purchased it for use in the campervan,to keep down condensation and to take the edge off the chill when it becomes chilly, although small i think its going to be ideal.I know i have made a good decision on buying this particular radiator for heating up a small area, but suggest a larger area will need an alternative choice. This item is very quiet,in fact no sound at all,its a silent pleaser.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor a radiator that is only 500W, this item heats up in less than 5 minutes and keeps my entire bedroom warm. What I love about it is that as an Asthmatic, it’s not giving off any fumes to exacerbate my condition. It did give off the “new smell” for the first time I used it though. It also has a thermostat setting which can maintain the temperature you wish to keep your radiator at, so you don’t necessarily need to keep it a highest setting constantly when in use. I do love Delonghi’s Oil Filled Radiators as I have bought them in the past. This one is available at a very reasonable price, I must say!
