Basically you treat this as part of the cable towards your monitor or TV from almost any device, once set up it will then “capture” or record anything you ask it to that is being shared on that monitor. It includes a means to include microphone input too.
It’s compatible with most platforms out there, however we run mainly twitch and a bit of YouTube reaction stuff which work seamlessly.
When matching it up with sound there doesn’t seem to be any latency at all, so it’s almost ready to be published as soon as it’s recorded. with very few adjustments needed.
So far, it is looking very impressive. It is solid but feels very lightweight. It provides a HDMI input from your input device, such as games console and a USB output (for computer/laptop) and HDMI output for monitor/tv/projector. Ports for microphone and headphone are also provided. No need for it to be additionally powered externally as the power from PC/laptop via the USB port is enough for it.
I use it to capture gameplay footage from my PS5. So far I have been very impressed. It outputs in 4k and I haven’t had any lag or freezes of the sort so far. It is easy to use. Boot everything up and the software detects the capture card and away you go. For the price, I am very impressed with it. It is good quality and I am pleased with my purchase.
video quality is ok i connected this to my amiga rgb to this to hdmi to usb, the latacy is good but i had to use obs studio to get low latancy, if ut using this for just VHS work however it porobably be fine, for me i was using it as a display for my amiga computer so requered low input lag, which works in OBS.. overall i recomvend this i mean its not awsome or anything but its decent quality!

Really amazing capture cards, works everything as expected and even a bit more.
Tested it while capturing the image from an PS4 and have to say that everything went well, easy to set up and really great.
Extracted images were casted on laptop and recorded.
The whole process took about 2 hours, it got quite warm but it still worked and no frames loss, no any other issues were met even if I expected that with the warming up of the card.
It’s designed and built very well – sturdy, strong and looking very nice. Minimalistic, a nice blue colour with those LED lights pulsing it really looks cool. Underneath – air vents even if there are no fans inside.
Cables and everything needed is inside.
Price is reasonable, I’d even say really worth as it keeps working, keeps doing great job and I believe it will work for another while.
Anfangs wollte das Gert nicht ber 720p hinaus, aber nach schnellem Austausch mit dem Support konnte das Problem gelst werden und nun funktioniert es wie es soll 🙂

I bought this capture card in order to stream games from my PS5 console to my Twitch channel, there seems to be a lot of options when it comes to capture cards, but Elgato seem to dominate.
This card works just as well at a fraction of the price, it’s fairly simple to do as its plug and play and no driver installations are required to get the thing to work.
At less than 100 this was a no-brainer, this is a brilliant 4K capture card with 4Kp60 pass-through.
Ich habe mir dieses Gert als gnstige zustzliche Aufnahmelsung gekauft, damit ich ein Macbook daran anschlieen und das HDMI-Bildsignal jeder beliebigen Quelle damit abgreifen kann. Davor hatte ich leider eine Lsung (Cloner Alliance), die sehr Windows-lastig war und nicht zu MAC-Gerten kompatibel ist.
Das Gert lsst sich problemlos an ein Macbook anschlieen und luft dort mit smtlicher verfgbarer Software (u.a. OBS, Quicktime, andere diverse Webcam-Software) zusammen und wird dort als Aufnahme-Device (bzw. Webcam) erkannt. Es tut was es soll und ich bin zufrieden damit.
Wer mit OBS und einer Kamera streamt, braucht ein Interface, dass das HDMI Ausgangssignal auf USB-C oder hnliches wandelt. Mit meinem MacMini M1 war die beanspruchte Rechenleistung durch ein sehr teueres Konkurrenzprodukt so hoch, dass ein Streamen nicht mehr mglich machte. Mittels Einsatz von von DIGITNOW! 4K lief das Ganze entspannt bei einer bentigten CPU Leistung weit unter 50% ab. Das Teil war die Rettung!
I have also plugged into an Xbox X, PlayStation five and an Xbox 360, and it Live streamed from all of those boxes without issue via my laptop.
Could not more highly recommend an HD box for the price.
Have streamed over two hours of gameplay, and recorded programs that over hour and a half and the box never overheated It was always just simply warm to touch

What do you get? A well build slide box, the main device, 1 usb to usb 3.0 cable, 1 hdmi to hdmi cable and 1 usb type- c cable. Obviously you also recive the user manual and a warranty card for 3 years.
Build in quality?
The device is made from metal, has a nice quality finish. At the back there is a plastic cover which has ventilation on both sides(while this works you cannot hear anything, it doesnt have vents inside).
How does it work?
In my case works well, nothing to complain about. The maximum I have it on for around 4 hours straight and it was all good. MIND though, the device will warm quite a lot but this doesnt affect the functionality in any way. There is a warning sticker on the top that says this and you can remove it if prefered.
What I suggest, If you dont have to constantly use it, before putting it in the cupboard or back into the box, leave it cool down properly.
Lag? I didnt experience such a thing, this is why I consider this product a good one.
I use a different hdmi cable than the one which comes in the box and the performace is the same.
I didnt use the jack and microphone port so I cannot say anything about these.
MIND while using you have to place the HDMI cable in the right ports, IN or OUT because otherwise will not work right.
The size? It is small, I can keep it in my hand(medium size).
Weight? Considering it is made from metal, I cannot say it is heavy because of it`s size but you can feel the good build in quality.
Are there enough ports for my need?
Yes, I dont use more than the HDMI so it is all fine.
Overall experience?
I buy things for specific jobs and this is one does what it has to, so its a good purchase.
Cons? In 3 weeks since I am using it on a daily basis I didnt experience any inconvenience so nothing to blame so far.

As stated in the instructions it does get a bit hot after some time but the metal case absorbs this heat and it seems not to effect its performance at all.I would recommend this as a value oriented option for 4k capture. Aside from very slight frame skipping from time to time, I was not disappointed in the direct capture performance and the very low latency compared to direct connection was impressive but not unnoticeable.Considering the build quality and the capability of this card, I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for value.
The form factor is brilliant with a milled aluminium housing in anodised blue and RGB light display in the groove. The pack came with all the cables you need in the box (apart from the HDMI to scart converter which I only need using obsolete tech…) Interestingly the box seems to run without the USB C power cable attached as it can draw power through the USB 3 output to the computer.
It isn’t really a capture card (recording on the card) and more a splitter taking a single input from the HDMI and then outputting a HDMI (to your TV) and a USB 3 output to your PC.
It worked out of the box using Streamlabs OBS on Windows 10 without any drivers needed and worked faultlessly. Great price point, form factor and performance, with no lag and good passthrough of both audio and video. Ive done a little video of it in action so you can see the lights etc. I hope you find it helpful! Very happy to recommend this cracking little box!
On the front of the device is HDMI in, HDMI out, USB 3.0, and a USB-C power input. Take your games console (for example), plug the output into HDMI in, plug the display or TV into HDMI out, and connect the USB to a PC or Mac for video capture with software like OBS. This worked fine with a PS4 though I had to select a lower input resolution than the default as it initially came up with “No support” in OBS. The capture was excellent though, and latency between the capture and the display was low though still discernible. Unlike some competing devices this one really is USB 3.0.
I didn’t use the USB-C power input since it gets power from USB 3.0 but I presume this might be needed in cases where there is insufficient power. The manual makes no mention of it other than that it exists. Audio quality in the capture was good and in stereo.
On this device you also get the benefit of a headphone socket and a microphone input. These are not really essential since you could use your PC or Mac for this, but could be convenient.
There are lighting effects when the device is powered on which I personally found a distraction and annoyingly there is no way I can see to disable this.
Happy overall though and better than most of the low-end video capture cards I have tried.
They’ve really upped their game on the unboxing experience. The box and the product feel premium quality.
The card itself is solidly built and the picture quality is soooo good. I can’t wait to get streaming properly again.
The only thing I do find odd is that there is a USB-C port for power but not for data transmission. I guess that is to keep the cost down here.
Oh it does come with a redeemable 3 year warranty which shows the company believes in the quality of their products.
All in All very impressed as always and would definitely recommend if you are looking to step up to 4K broadcasting.

Der Bildschirm Rekorder tut was er soll, solange er ein unverschlsseltes Signal bekommt. Fernsehaufzeichnungen knnen so nicht erstellt werden. Auch wichtig zu erwhnen man bentigt fr den Betrieb einen PC an den das Gert zur Steuerung angeschlossen wird. Wer aber einen gnstigen Bildschirm Rekorder sucht wird hier fndig.
Eine manuelle Installation von Treibern ist nicht notwendig, geschieht alles automatisch im Hintergrund (Windows 10 x64).
Sobald ein Signal per HDMI durch das Gert durchgeschliffen wird (egal ob aufgezeichnet wird oder nicht) erwrmt sich das Gehuse auf 40-45C, was schon fr eine beachtliche Menge Energieverlust spricht, man sollte deshalb darauf achten das Gert bei nichtbenutzung abzustecken oder den HDMI-Ausgang zu deaktivieren.
Die Systemvoraussetzungen des Video-Capture-Gerts sind wie folgt angegeben:

Dennoch gelingt auch auf meinem betagten Notebook mit Intel i5-5300U Prozessor und HD5500 Grafikchip, welcher mit einer Auflsung von 1920×1080 und 60Hz arbeitet, eine Aufzeichnung in 1920×1080 mit 30fps ohne Probleme, allerdings zeichne ich dort auch keine Spiele auf.
Das Handbuch des Video-Capture-Gerts empfielt zur Aufzeichnung unter anderem die freie Software OBS und erklrt dazu auch die ntigen Einstellungen. Beim Audiodelay ist zur synchronisierung empfohlen 470ms anzugeben, bei mir sind es eher 300ms bis Ton und Bild fast synchron laufen.
Die Audioausgabe und Audioaufzeichnung ber dieses Video-Capture-Gert erfolgt aber nur in Stereo. Wer gerne seinen 5.1 oder 7.1 Sound weiter zur Heimkino-Anlage durchschleifen mchte der muss dann wohl zustzlich einen HDMI-Splitter oder eine extra Surround-Soundkarte verwenden, diese kann dann in OBS auch als Audioaufnahmegert eingestellt werden.
Das mitgelieferte User Manual (die Bedienungsanleitung) ist in mehreren Sprachen gehalten, auch in akzeptabler deutscher Sprache. Sie beschreibt auch die Einstellung des Video-Capture-Gerts in der kostenfreien Software OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).

As a self taught streamer and “video maker” as a hobby, I needed a capture card to record in 4K (my old capture card is only 1080P). I came across this one and thought it is worth a punt at this price. Wow, I am actually surprised at the quality of this device. The capture quality is amazing, there is no lag on the HDMI pass through, and it works flawlessly!! I use it with OBS and to capture gameplay from my console, and it just does what it says on the box! I absolutely LOVE the build quality (seriously its like a metal brick), and the metallic red colour just makes it look that much more cool. You even get all the cables you need – included in the box! It is such good value!!

The set up is super simple, the capture card has 3 connections. A HDMI in you input the output from your console (the connection that usually goes to your tv), a HDMI out which you connect to your tv and a USB out, which you connect to your computer. In my case I use a laptop which has a reasonable I5 processor in it. But by having a capture card you don’t need the power of the laptop to do anything other than record, so you’ll probably get away with less.
Now in terms of next steps I looked online and a lot of people suggested OBS Studio as software, so I downloaded it and it installed without issue and it really is easy to set up. Straight away it detected my capture card when I added a new device and within minutes it was showing an input to capture. You can then add additional inputs (Like camera to video yourself and Microphone so you can capture your voice). Once all set up you are basically done for video capturing.
I’ve had this set up for about 2 weeks now and it’s been flawless, working every time with clear recording. I only bother to use 1080p capturing because I don’t want to take up too much storage on my laptop and it’s amazingly clear and smooth.. To start I turn on my console, turn on my laptop and boot up OBS and this card works first every time.
The only downside I’ve found is that the card does not allow HDR passthrough to my TV. It does allow 4k at 60hz which is what I play my Series x on, ( I don’t have a 120hz tv). To get round this I actually already had a 4k UHD HDR splitter so I use the output from this to go to the capture card and other other side in 4k HDR to my tv and it all works great. To get a HDR output one I think you’ll pay more than double this price and everything is super clear and easy to use, so for the price I paid and how it works I think it’s probably the best card I could have got. Very happy.
Daraufhin habe ich mir aus dem Internet die kostenlose Version der Software OBS (Open Broadcaster Studio) besorgt in der ZIP-Variante, die keine Installation bentigt. Ich nutze hier bereits Win10 21H1, also die neueste Version des Windows-Betriebssytems. Nachdem ich auch beim OBS lange “herum gebastelt” habe, fand ich schlielich die “richtigen” Einstellungen, so dass jetzt die Video-Bilder auch korrekt mit 50 Vollbildern ausgegeben werden. Diese Software ist daher als ideale Ergnzung zum DigitNOW!-Interface zu sehen. Auch weil jede beliebige andere Ausgabe-Bitrate und Auflsung (bis 3840*2160/30p mit dem DigitNOW!-Interface) eingestellt werden kann.
Ich dachte eigentlich, dass mein USB3.0-Anschluss genug Strom zum Betrieb des DigitNOW! hergibt, wurde aber enttuscht. Es ist AUF JEDEN FALL ein zustzliches USB-Netzteil (drften im Haushalt als Handyladegerte herumliegen) vonnten. Durch den hohen Stromverbrauch wird das DigitNOW! auch gut warm (man muss abwarten, wie lange die Elektronik das mitmacht).
Da die o.g. Software auch direktes Streaming zu Youtube, Twitch Facebook etc. zulsst (und so eben nicht nur zur Aufnahme dient), kann man fr die Leute die so etwas suchen also sowohl den DigitNOW!, als auch die OBS-Software empfehlen. Man muss sich aber “einarbeiten”. Auf Anhieb funktionierte das erst einmal nicht. Ich habe z.B. einiges an Zeit bentigt, um herauszufinden, wie man den Ton am HDMI-In auch in OBS ber die Monitor-Lautsprecher bzw. bei der Aufnahme einschaltet. Mein Rechner ist brigens mit einer lteren i7-2600 CPU, einer Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 Ti Grafikkarte (zur Hardware-Encodierung mittels NVEnc) und 16 GB RAM bestckt… Es soll ja schon zgig gehen. Die Bildqalitt ist ausgezeichnet und der Ton ist lippensynchron bis zum Ende meiner Videos.

Finally found video capture card which doesn’t crash on 4K 60Hz input rate. Brilliant although it’s capture capacity 4K 30hz still brilliant that it doesn’t crash or freeze as other ones I have used, it takes very clear and high resolution 4K footage on 30hz.

To use it no need to pay monthly subscription on pay additional for software, it all ready , just plug and play all in one . Works fine with Windows and Mac platforms .

Steckt man das Gert ber USB 3 an einen PC an, wird es als Webcam erkannt. Jedes Programm (Streaming, Aufnahme oder gleich der Browser) kann auf das Signal zugreifen.
ber den HDMI Eingang kann man ein beliebiges HDMI Signal einspielen und ber der HDMI Ausgang auch quasi nur zwischen schleifen.
An PC, welcher das Gert via USB verbunden hat, kann man dann das Signal zum Beispiel wie im Video aufzeichnen.
Eine Aufzeichnung ohne PC ist nicht mglich. Das Gert braucht ber einen MicroUSB zustzlich Strom (warum auch immer dafr ein zweites Kabel ntig ist, wre das nicht auch ber den USB3 gegangen…)
Audio vom HDMI wird auch bertragen. Zustzlich kann man ein Mikro und Kopfhrer anschlieen. Das wrde ich aber am PC machen und als weiter Audiospur, damit man die Signale unterschiedlich von einander regeln kann.

Ce petit boitier est une merveille !
Pour les blogueurs comme moi, cela est parfait pour enregistrer directement des flux vido en prise directe, via pc ou mac.
La qualit de transfert est impeccable, fluide et optimale, bien sur il faut aussi avoir une bonne carte vido ddie, avec un minimum de 4Go de mmoire ddie.
On peut tout brancher indpendamment, audio entre et sortie, vido HDMI & DVI, casque, micro … en gros tout comme un studio pro, mais en une boite qui fait environ 12 x 8 cm !!!!!

Es un dispositivo con plug and play, es decir, que con simplemente conectarlo al ordenador se instala directamente los drivers necesarios y no es necesario que hagamos ninguna accin. Solo hace falta instalar como extra el software OBS, como dice en las instrucciones, para usarla tal cual, lo que queramos instalar por detrs es cuestin de cada uno. Tambin se puede usar con otros programas como VLC o iMovie.
Despus, se conecta mediante la entrada HDMI al dispositivo que queramos capturar y de una forma muy fcil y rpida el dispositivo empezar a guardar los archivos de vdeo en nuestro ordenador.
Per il prezzo d’acquisto direi che il prodotto ottimo. Fa quello che deve e finalmente posso fare streaming senza problemi. Plug & play e settata anche con obs funziona bene, ottima qualit dell’immagine e nessun ritardo inoltre non ha bisogno di un alimentatore esterno. Paragonabile a soluzioni professionali, ma merita le 5 stelle pe la facilit di utilizzo e il rapporto qualit prezzo. Consiglio il prodotto a chi come me vuole una buona qualit streaming al prezzo giusto.

El dispositivo es sencillo. Cuenta con unos buenos acabados, mezcla de metal y plstico. Adicionalmente, comentar que tiene muy poco peso, y sus dimensiones son reducidas (cabe en cualquier bolsillo).
Esta capturadora, tiene sus conectores a ambos lados, incluyendo las siguientes entradas y salidas:
A un lado, una salida USB-A para conectar al ordenador (PC o MAC), as como una salida HDMI. Por el otro lado, la entrada de alimentacin MicroUSB, la entrada HDMI, la salida de audio y la entrada de micrfono (ambos minijack de 3,5).
Su funcionamiento no tiene gran misterio. Conectamos el dispositivo a la alimentacin y al PC mediante su cable USB. Yo lo he probado en Windows 10, y tanto la deteccin de la capturadora, como la instalacin de los drivers es totalmente automtica e instantnea. No me ha hecho falta instalar automticamente nada.
Una vez hecho esto, , mediante la entrada HDMI conectamos la entrada de video (que puede ser cualquiera que podamos conectar mediante HDMI, como por ejemplo una videoconsola, un Apple Tv, un PC o Mac, un DVD, etc) que deseemos. En este momento entra en juego el software. Tenemos que elegir cual es el software de captura que queremos usar. Las instrucciones del dispositivo hacen referencia en todo momento a OBS (Open Broadcaster Software, programa gratuito y de gran calidad que podemos descargar directamente de su Web), pero yo en mi caso he usado directamente VLC, ya que estoy ms familiarizado con ste ltimo, y las caractersticas son similares.
Mediante el software elegido, buscamos la opcin de capturar imagen y seleccionamos el origen, en este caso aparecera el nombre que Windows le ha dado a la capturadora. Elegimos algn parmetro ms como la calidad de imagen (dependiendo de la calidad de emision del origen, podremos capturar hasta 4k), el origen del audio, etc, y ya podremos comenzar a emitir en Internet en la plataforma elegida (Youtube, Twitch, Instagram, etc). Si lo que nos interesa es nicamente grabar en un fichero en nuestro equipo lo que se est emitiendo, tambin ser posible, pero esto ya depender del Software que usemos.

Capturadora de vdeo para poder grabar y transmitir en directo todas tus partidas de videojuegos de PC o consolas como PlayStation, Xbox o Nintendo Switch. Puede capturar hasta una resolucin 4K con una tasa de refresco de 60 FPS, por lo que se puede transmitir las partidas a la mxima calidad posible.
En cuanto al producto, la tarjeta de vdeo es pequea y porttil, con un acabado de aluminio de color negro. Es compatible tanto con sistemas operativos Windows como MacOS y lo reconocen los principales programas de edicin de vdeo como OBS o VLC. Es plug and play, por lo que lo nico que debemos hacer es conectar la entrada que queramos (videoconsola, proyector, televisor, etc.) y la salida (ordenador y porttil) a travs de las conexiones HDMI y disfrutar. El pack incluye cable HDMI, USB y el del cable a la corriente (5V).
Por otra parte, destacar que la capturadora de vdeo no se calienta aunque se use en sesiones de larga duracin. Es compatible con las principales plataformas de streaming como Twich, Youtube o Facebook. Dispone de entradas de Jack de 3,5 mm para poder conectar micrfono y poder grabar la voz, o poder conectar auriculares y un USB estndar 3.0 de alta velocidad. Incluye manual de instrucciones para entender el funcionamiento en completo castellano.
En definitiva, si ests buscando una capturadora de vdeo para poder capturar tus mejores jugadas o partidas y poder transmitirlas en directo va streaming por plataformas como Twich, sin lugar a dudas que es la opcin perfecta, en base gracias a su excelente relacin calidad – precio, su fcil instalacin y uso. En mi caso, la he comprado para poder transmitir mis partidas online de Xbox Series X y funciona a la perfeccin, siendo fcil y rpido de instalar en mi porttil MacBook.
