Great care was taken in the designing of this lead to ensure the weight of the lead was kept to the absolute minimum whilst maintaining the strength and quality. This lead has a built in trigger clip to collar attachment. The 10 meter lead can be shortened and be used at 5 meters also . Great training lead
Brilliant training lead to give you more confidence but my advice wear gardening gloves! I have a gsd so very strong and I got a rope burn but since wearing gloves much better!
Gives dog bit of freedom
Bought for training young cocker, giving him bit of freedom but also meaning he can’t chase birds on the beach and can control him when swimming in the river. Good quality lead nice thickness and have only used it on the 5M length as that is long enough for my needs.
The perfect long line
I have been through a LOT of long lines with my dogs, I use them for gundog training and as extra support with my adolescent labrador while his recall gets some TLC.
The clip on this line is heavy, but that is because it is high quality and sturdy.
The line itself is remarkably light, and yet strong enough the easily handle a 32kg dog pulling as hard as he can at the end of it.
The rope is soft to hold and comfortable in the hand, and the line has a light amount of spring/bungee to it meaning that if a dog runs to the end it is far more cushioned than usual, less impact on you and the dog!
It also washes easily and dries very fast! Honestly I can’t imagine ever using a different brand – this is my 8th type of long line and its the one I’ve been looking for my whole life!

Strong and sturdy lead
My little dog can now run free for 10m before being recalled. We were told to get the round one and not the ribbon lead as that can cut your hand. This one is very comfortable.
Good quality and really useful length
We’ve only used this twice but really love this long lead for our 1 yr old labrador. We’re training her to come back when we call her and this lead is great because it’s light yet sturdy, allows her to go quite far, sniffing around and enjoying her walk, but we can keep control of her too and gradually train her to come back. It blends in the colour of the ground so our dog doesn’t notice it much. You can use it to tug at your dog when he/she doesn’t want to come back. It’s also got a bit of ‘give’ / spring in its material compared to the flat type long leads. It’s soft to hold and doesn’t seem to get dirty too quickly so far.
Good training lead
This is great for my hound/pointer mix who is so sad and driven that I can’t really let him off the lead. This line gives him enough freedom to feel that he is having a good time without the worry of him running off! It’s also good for his training and recall.
Competitively priced looks well made
Competitively priced looks well made. Not used yet as awaiting pups second vaccinations but will definitely be needed once puppy out and about for training
Lone line for a dog
Works well. I knotted the lead every so often to help with control. Took a while to get the knack of reeling in and out without too many mishaps.

It’s a good sturdy rope but be aware he was playing seen a cat and ran he’s only ) mths it rope went through my fingers and hand left me with rope burns best used with gloves

Excellent Training lead
Brought this for my new addition a rescue dog. I’ve found it very easy to use. It’s comfortable to hold and it’s strong and sturdy. My dog hasn’t tried to chew it at all, but I have it attached to his harness so if he did a runner and I dropped it and he got caught up in a tree he wouldn’t get choked to death!!! He can run on in front and I can practice recall which has gone really well. I’ve found it especially useful when meeting other dogs to as he doesn’t feel restricted by a lead and the meetings are better, he is dog friendly but I can’t let him off yet as I am bonding with him. Really good purchase I would definitely recommend!!!!
Ok for a back up while training. Not a great tracking line
Ok line for walks with dogs who cannot be off lead or a back up while teaching recall but not good for tracking/mantrailing or any activity where you’re going to be letting out line by letting it slide through your hands because of the way the fabric is woven in a tube it makes it twist around and knot up really easily so you’re reeling back in a tangled mess when you catch up to the searching dog.

It was a little havey for my puppy when I first got it. But he has grown into using his new field training lead. Looking forward to using this on are longer walk together on the south Wales hills
As good as they say
Sometimes reviews can be misleading, call me a doubting Thomas, anyway this lead is as good as they say, comfy, soft on the hands ( my wife’s ), plenty long enough, sturdy and straight away its proving to be a bonus in training out Lab.
Stress free walking near livestock!
We love this lead! It gives my 5 month old puppy freedom while I also have confidence that I can rain him in if needed. We live near livestock so this lead is a must for his and the cows/sheep’s safety.
I do drop it when I know we are in a safe place but knowing I can grab the end when he’s 10 meters away is great! We soon got the hang of not wrapping it around ourselves or getting stuck on stuff and we may look like we are going rock climbing when we leave the house but the worry free fun we have in fields is worth all that! 5 stars from us!

Secure long line however takes forever to dry due to the materials used. But at least I know my dog won’t be able to bite through it easily. Would recommend.

Good for puppys at the park when they haven’t be trained yet.

My trainer suggested cutting off the handle loop so it doesn’t snag as easily. Wish I had bought a brightly coloured one so it can can find it in the grass more easily.
Nice lead, let down by substandard clip
Really like this long lead. I’ve dropped a star as the quality of the hook is poor. The spring in the hook has gone so it’s very difficult to get on and off the harness.
Great lead for dog training!
I’ve been using this lead for the last 6 weeks with my Labrador pup and I love it. With its long length it allows him to go explore and we can practice recall with the risk of him getting running away. I would highly recommend to anyone that spends a lot of time in the woods and stuff.

Beware the bu
It’s a great lead but if you have to grab it in a rush beware it burns like hell if it slips through your hand. Also gets heavy when wet if attached to a small dog. Moaning a bit but it does do the job.
Delighted with this produc
Perfect for walking our one year old on a long line (Large Munsterlander approx 26 kg). Easier to use than a rope line and better on the hands – still need to be careful of burns.

I use this to allow my Cocker spaniel to run freely on grass at my holiday lodge very light but strong, clasp strong with good spring no fraying but I am using on grass as sellers description recommends dog doesn’t seem to notice he’s attached where as he didn’t like and got tangled with the flat webbing types

Absolutely fabulous lead, soft, comfortable and sturdy. It is also elasticated so when if my little girl isn’t behaving and I have to pull her back it is much more gentle for her.
This would also be good for dogs.

Great lead for letting my 10 month Cockapoo run about the field whilst still keeping in control. 10m is a good length and not restrictive at all. The lead is a very thick cord and feel confident it would never break while out.

I think I may have picked the wrong thickness as the cord is as thick as the puppy s leg but he doesn’t seem to mind he can run safely and i can tie it when I want to do gardening.

The line has a slight tretch in it that softens any jaring pull.
Lobster claw swivel clip is fairly heavy duty, though I have not tested it on particularly heavy dogs yet.
The line drys easily, though I found it will wring itself as it stretches.
There is a welded ring on the handle loop that can be used to half the line length or aid in storage.
I have been using this line to help with recall of my puppy and to let him range. The fittings are a bit heavy and will drag with him, he is a 13 week Labrador X Cocker Spaniel, though it’s not too much of a hassle and well worth the purchase.

Doesn’t tangle as much at the flat tape kind of long line, and it’s easier to unravel too. Doesn’t seem to tangle as badly in the dogs legs as much when they’re running round with it on eithe

Puppy safe.
I bought this long line to ensure that my puppy was safe and couldn’t go missing. The lead is made from very soft yet strong materials and has some ‘give’ in it which I like as, if my puppy runs and gets to the end of the lead, I don’t get my arm pulled from my shoulder!
The best long training lead we've had!
The best long training lead we’ve had! With having a cocker whose nose seems to block out her hearing outdoors she can now have a good run and sniff without losing her. Would definitely recommend!
