Works a treat, finally got a British made product of quality that doesn’t drop to bits, (not made in China) i have a reasonable large garden and this pump made work so much easier when watering plants,you do need a rigid hose pipe to connect won’t work on the ones that expand but still worth 5 stars.
I find this pump very easy to use. It delivers enough pressure out of a 200 litre water butt and through a 40m Gardena hose pipe to water flower beds or lawn areas. It also worked well to transfer water between different butts throughout the garden. Connections to compatible hoses and accessories works fine without leaks. I can only recommend this water pump.
Bought for pumping water from rainwater collection system. Great bit of kit. Easy to use.
Item arrived very quickly and is working very well. Easy to put together and a nice long power cable!
We use this to pump rainwater up our hillside garden to the pond. Copes well with the height and is sturdy. Sometimes it doesn’t start and I need to jiggle the float before it kicks off, otherwise it’s perfect. Doesn’t always autostop but has never overheated.
On a water metre I have the bath water pumped into the barrel and I use the pump to put the water from the barrel onto the garde
Had this 2 years now use at allotement to water plants, will empty 45gallon blue drum of water, plenty of pressure through pump.
I have only used this twice thus far which I use to drain linked water butts in my garage which takes the water from my garage and adjoining shed roof. In winter I don’t need as much water and the soakway does not work so this device saves me straining my back, emptying numerous buckets of water. It does the job of emptying a full 200 litres butt within a few minutes. Be careful though that the outlet clear tube doesn’t kink otherwise it won’t pump as I found out today! Like a few other reviewers have mentioned, the diagram is wrong-follow the picture on the box when fitting the aluminium tube and the outlet hose. Draper should take better care when designing their instructions: very sloppy and thus they lose 1 star for this reason.

Alla ricerca di una pompa con alimentazione a batteria ricaricabile, mi imbatti in questa della Draper (forse l’unica). La uso da un p e mi ha stupito per la portata d’acqua che ha, la batteria non dura tantissimo, ma facile da ricaricare in circa 4 ore. Non si pu a mio parere, pretendere di pi.
After an initial hitch setting it up … I followed the directions but the directions are wrong. A quick call to Draper and a very helpful chap told me why my efforts had failed (pipes on the wrong way round in the diagram)
The Draper Pumps are fantastic…we don’t have running water on our farm here in Cyprus…..we have bought six of them now 🙂

Excellent it does the job of putting water from a well into a bath for the horses especially as the water in the well is quite low now.
Lithium Ion battery pack-controller (12V) arrived as dead as a Dodo even after 24h charge (the supplied diminutive mains to 14vdc 0.4A charger was OK), very frustrating as I really needed this pump to work.
In short, it was incapable of shifting even a millilitre from new!
UPDATE: Extremely quick and efficient replacement of faulty battery by Draper UK who collected the faulty item, so review updated from 1 star to 4 stars.
Ottimo prodotto, altezza di pompaggio acqua 11m . Peccato che le specifiche tecniche non siano pubblicate da Amazon ma si trovano solo nelle istruzioni all’interno della scatola di spedizione, o sul sito Draper. Comunque funziona alla perfezione, perfetta la batteria che consente di pompare acqua anche dove non c’ elettricit!!! Comprare un adattatore perch la spina dell’alimentazione inglese !!! Consegna arrivata puntuale. Sarebbe bello che vendessero a parte una batteria di alimentazione di riserva per le emergenze.Attenzione alle istruzioni di montaggio, perch sul libretto di istruzioni hanno invertito le entrate e le uscite. Nella foto dello scatolone invece sono montate correttamente!!!

It does what the advert says with a very good pressure, but the handle pulled out when I tried to take it out of the barrel, so I had to put a screw through the tube to stop this happening. But this is a very good pump.
Zu beachten (ohne Punktabzug):
1. Bedienungsanleitung nur englisch. (Sollte ja aber heute kein Problem mehr sein)
2. Anschlusssystem (Gardena und Kompatible) reduziert die Wassermenge aufgrund geringer Durchmesser von Schluchen und Anschlussstcken. (wird meistens in Beschreibungen verschwiegen. Ist halt Physik und wer mag die schon!) Ich habe daher einen 1 Zoll Schlauch direkt mit Schelle auf dem Pumpenanschlussgewinde befestigt und die Wassermenge ist beachtlich!
Mankos (dafr einen Punkt Abzug):
Bedienungsanleitung und Bild hier zeigen falschen Anschluss. Schlauch und Gestnge vertauscht. Auf Originalpackung steht es richtig. (Dummerweise kommt kein Wasser raus, wenn man es wie beschrieben aufbaut. Habe es nur bemerkt weil ich das Haltegestnge nicht richtig verschraubt hatte und da pltzlich Wasser raustropfte.)
Noch ein Minus: Netzteil hat einen englischen Stecker. Kann nur mit Adapter am deutschen Stromnetz betrieben werden.
