Used this before and have been very happy with it. It has, however faded with wear & tear and I am simply replacing with fresh product. Great to say this is an easy excellent system.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDoesn’t seal around bathroom toilet and sink , peeled off after a few days , even around the edge of skirting boards , think due to steam , so ok for short term fix , but not long term, better off using sealant and a sealant gun ,
Update from original feedback , great communication from seller, who was quick to resolve my issue , would trust buying again , the adhesive on these strips do need to be a bit stronger, as do start to peel off after a short while, hopefully the seller will take this into consideratio

Very easy to install it molds very well around curves colour is bright white the length is very generous water just runs off great value for money it does remove if you stick it wrong but it will pull off paint as it’s very strong adhesive

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve used this to seal the gap between the bath and shower screen. Works really well so far, sticks well to the plastic bath and glass screen. Tried it around the bath and found that it doesn’t stick at all to sealant, so will need to remove that before using this product there.

Easy to fit and looks good. It’s also got good adhesive and sticks to the bath and tiles very well. The tool that comes with it is very useful too.

I used this to renovate a 15 year old power shower cubicle which had started to look a bit mucky and to leak in odd places, particularly when son stands under it for 10 minutes at full power. It is essential that all traces of dust, dirt, grease, and soap and hard water stains are removed if you want to get 100% adhesion. The surface should also be bone dry. My wife’s hairdryer might have helped but the use of electrical equipment in a bathroom is not consistent with UK electricity regulations. You need to line it up carefully and stick down firmly. I used a wallpaper edge/join roller for extra pressure. All leaks have gone. Seal is 100% effective. Of course it will be critical to assess performance in 5 years time but I suppose I could always just replace it. As others have commented the accurate fixing of the seal would be so much easier if the backing strip was in two sections with a break at the join. That would allow easier alignment and ultimately firmer fixing. Worth the money. Can be done by careful DIYer.

It was Not left on letterbox!!! It was left UNDER door mat and made me fall when I stepped on it unknowingly. Dangerous! Also I was home. No one rang bell or knocked on door. The product is adequate.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersVery easy to use. I don’t recommend using the applicator that comes with it as the tape can be prone to splitting along its bend if you press too hard. This has tidied up the edges of my downstairs toilet and looks great. Not sure about their suggestions that one roll will go round a bathroom. I’ve used two rolls on a smaller area but worth it.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI ha e purchased this item 5 times over the last 1.5 years. Sadly everytime I our Hase it the quality of the item is thinner and thinner. Yesterday (07/12/22) I received the order and was dismayed at how light the box felt. After cutting down the middle seam a little I was able to tear my with my bare hands. This has never been the case. The adhesive party is also very different from when I first purchased. Sadly it seems like so many things – the quality is declining….

However it has done the job in the bathroom which was to seal a gap between the base board and the bath panel as there’s movement in my floor as a gap has been created between the two where cold air was coming in. I heated the adhesive and applied between the two to seal off the gap and cold air from coming in and losing heating in the bathroom. I honestly don’t know if I would buy this item again as it’s so thin now..shame because it’s a useful product.

It arrived quickly and has done a great job at tidying up our shower cubicle and fixing a leak. It was easy to afix, the corners were a little tricky but we managed fine. Very adhesive so a few weeks later and all is still looking good and no more leak!

Used this product for improving the aesthetic appearance around our bath where it meets the wall. So far so good, it has been on for about 6 weeks or so now and appears to be doing a good job. It was quite tricky to apply as trying to seat it as you go on a longer run is a little challenging and we found two of us working together to do that made it easier. We also slightly warmed up the strip prior to application as others had suggested and this too helped.

Wasnt too sure if this product was up to the job. But it was.
Was bought for finishing off the edges on a boat, and needed something flexible and water/mould resistant. So far all good, considering the temperature changes onboard this stuff has stayed in place, easy to fit and snip into, and it goes round all the odd fittings too.(nothing is dead straight on a boat) very happy and will be buying more

Heat up with hairdryer a bit at a time whilst removing the backing tape and pressing the strip down onto the surface. Press down and remove any creases with the handy tool supplied. Excellent product so far.

    Excellent product.

Needed this to seal the bottom of the bathtub panel to prevent water seeping in. Had previously used silicone but this kept splitting over time. Used this product instead and I have been really impressed. So easy to stick down and looks really professional. Would buy and use this item again.

Around the sink, the table top, fell apart due to years of degrading and water damage. Wasn’t in a situation to replace the whole table top at the moment, but this item really helped create a tight seal with a near finish.

I would recommend using a hair dryer to make the adhesive nice and tacky, as well as making the actual tape more pliable. Heating the whole tape first and the adhesive bit by bit for long applications.

Nearly 2 months and it is still looking good, even after some potentially staining spills.

I tried to put this around the toilet but maybe because I have silicone already there, couldnt get it to stick, however around the sink work worked well but as you are bending it around, you have to use the tool to press against as youll get little areas that havent stuck down properly, so after a few attempts looks good. Adhesion is good. However I have brown fake wood lino in the bathroom which I attempted to install myself and was using this to hide my dodgy cuts. The tape is quite wide, so I dont think it looked good all around the floor so pulled it all off again except for front of the bath, and found some brown wood looking adhesive tape online to use instead, but even had to cut that down to 1cm wide as it looked too wide.

    seemed to work well

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersMy bathroom is old, and has an uneven gap between the bath and the tiled wall (up to 1.5 cams), this looks awful when silicone sealant is used. To make it look neater, I first tried a different brand of tape sealant to this one, which started to come away very quickly (despite preparing the area meticulously and following all instructions) and it was soon leaking and becoming mouldy. Decided to have one more try, and this brand is brilliant.

The area was thoroughly cleaned and dried. I cut the strips to the required length and used a hairdryer on the hottest setting until the strip felt hot and pliable. The handy tool provided made it easy to press the strips firmly into place (I cut the corner joints at an angle). A thin bead of sealant neatened the joints, and I put a tiny dot of sealant at the top of the strip at each grout join in the tiles, to help prevent mould building up at the grout/sealant strip edge.

It’s been in place for weeks and has stayed firmly stuck down. The colour is a bright white and has remained bright, unlike the last brand I tried – which had a definite blue tinge before turning grey.

    This works

This product is excellent. I was really pleased how it tidied up the windows. After decorating and painting. The windows looked like new! Please don’t be tempted to stretch it as you put it on as you will find over time it will shrink back. I did not have to warm it up for it to stick. It’s good value for money and if you want your windows to look tidy and clean, look no further than this product. I’m very pleased with this product and bought more for all the windows in the house.

    Excelle

Ignore the negative reviews!! Use a hairdryer to warm it first this makes it malleable and ensures a good adhesion. My only wish would be that it was slightly narrower. Much nicer than messy sealant too.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersBloody fantastic!!!! Scraped off the old sealant and scrapped of residue then used a hair dryer to ensure it was dry. So easy to put on and really flexible even when bending round the back for toilet/sink I used a hairdryer for 15 seconds on the glue then formed it round the toilet sink bases then used the plastic scraper provided to press it down. So easy to clean and looks so much better so I’ve done the en-suite too. Defo recommend

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersMade sure I removed the old tape with the helpful enclosed tool. Clean and dry the area before application. I read several of the other reviews and made sure that I used a hair dryer to heat the section I wanted to use, you do this to make the adhesive tacky. I measured out the length I needed, cut it with sharp scissors then got the hair dryer on the blow and heated the adhesive side. After this you get one end in position and start to remove the backing tape and use the other hand to press the tape down firmly. I used the tape to secure the gap in between my shower door and bath that was leaking massive amounts every shower time. It’s worked really well and no leaks since. Really pleased!

    Works a treat!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI really recommend this product, my partner replaced the laminate flooring in the downstairs W/C and is by no means is a professional. I wanted something that was able to hide a couple of imperfections, which this did exactly that! Easy to apply, no issues with it not staying stuck, easy to clean. We’ve now also placed this around the toilet upstairs. Will buy again 🙂
