Love this tool it clamps on the edge of the table and works seamlessly. Easy to pack away and get out of the very cool case love it as I love my other 2 Dremel tools
Truth to tell, I was tempted by a price reduction in the Amazon sale, but it’s a good investment which will last me out for sure.
Absolutely brilliant for a DIY handy man, easy to assemble and cuts wood beautifully
Nice low cost good value hobby saw. Great for thin cuts but it will complain about cutters thicker wood
Not easy to fit saw to its table but ok once fitted.
This is a great tool and does a brilhiant job cutting small wood bits to precise size and shape.. Its a bit loud though, if it wasnt for that I’d have given it a big 5 but still worth it!
A very good machine. After a few practise runs I got used to how to operate it. The blades were easy to fit and I achieved excellent results. Couldn’t be better. However, I will have to source replacement blades elsewhere as the cost of sending them to Greece, outweighs the price of the product.
I used it to cut templates out of plywood, various sizes
Top quality very robust got a old Drimmel had for 8years still going strong
Ideal for my craft work
I bought this general motor store to help me in my workshop for doing models it’s an excellent bit of kit I would recommend this to anybody who’s thinking of doing some modelling work
I’ve never used a scroll saw before but I wanted to try my hand at a Gnome I’d seen online selling for a lot of money. Thinking to myself I could make my own my hubby bought me the scroll and off I went. The saw is super easy to use. You just need a steady hand. Some of the reviews say you can’t cut a straight line but I absolutely had to issues with that. (I regularly use a sewing machine so perhaps that helps). I used MDF boards and the saw had to problems cutting them. 3mm and 9mm I’ve done so far. It is a struggle to fit the blades if the machine doesnt stop with the bottom part in the right place. I just turn it on and off again to sort this issue. There are no doubt better scroll blades out there. But for an absolute beginner like me. I can highly recommend.
Excellent for cutting intricate detail and curves and also with the slide mitre you can cut angles and straight cuts and this is removable it’s easily clamped to the edge of a workbench and comes with parts to prevent marks on the table surface it has a port for a vacuum cleaner so you don’t get dust everywhere in the room especially useful if you live in a flat like me to only difficult thing is the replacement of the blade but after a few attempts you get used to it and also the vibration but this is down to it being a reciprocating saw so unless you buy a heavier or metal machine this is something that you have to live with but it’s not a dealbreaker all in all I am very pleased with this I’m a delivery from the supplier was excellent.
I’ve haven’t really had much time to use it as yet.
I am happy with my initial use, and I will add a more detailed review once I have had a chance to put it through it’s paces.
Works as intended and comes in a nice case for storage.
Spare blades are easy to purchase also. I use this to cut wood and plastic for my hobby.
You can also use this to cut with out the bench attachment.
But awkward at first but once you figure it out no problem.
This is an excellent saw for crafters . Wish I had got one a while back. It easy to use if your not used to power tools (I wasnt ) I have made several miniatures in just a few days for my dolls house. Its light weight and portable. The blade takes a little wiggling to get in but woth the effort. Excellent.
My likes it is easy to assemble and you can use it in two different ways the only dislike is it does have its limits
This is a great scroll saw and very compact for storage. I bought it to cut some detailing on a shelving unit I was constructing and it worked perfectly, making smooth, even cuts on 20mm thick board.
Very good cutting mdf which is why I bought it. Using the metal blade (24 tpi).
Almost didn’t buy this after watching a few negatively biased videos on YT…. Glad I ignored my initial feelings. For the price it is punching above its weight. Very accurate and powerful enough for the work it’s designed for.
Dreamel never let you down great for my work must buy
Im building a model house and this is so great to use. I just pop it up on my crafting table and im ready to go. Nothing wrong with it at all yet. Comes in a case for easy storage.
If i needed 2 i would buy again 🙂
Excellent saw, performs well with no problems however. If you just need a saw for the occasional bit of scroll work it’s ideal but if you are thinking of taking up the hobby of scroll sawing it’s probably worth looking elsewhere!
This is a very useful tool to cut shapes into thin panels. Saw is tricky to install at first, but easy once you have done it the first time. You need to be patient because it is a small portable tool and not a fixed band saw. Comes in a well designed case.

Great product. Off / On switch a bit fiddly but you soon automatically know where to find it. Broke a couple of fine cut blades but I was trying to turn ridiculous angles so my fault. A bit of downward pressure on top arm is needed when fitting blade. You can also buy right angle blades so that longer cuts can be done without being hampered by yoke restrictions. Speed control very good. Good value for money. Clamps to bench well with supplied clamps. All in all a great product.

all round it is what it says .All three things are perfec
Is a bit noisy when using and blade fitting was not positive, otherwise good little machine for fine work.
Very sturdy when attached to workbench and easy to assemble.
Accurate easy to use saw . Bit fiddly inserting into table fitment but works well
This was a present for my father who loves it and likes that it will separate
This is a useful tool for small, intricate fret and jig sawing. Best advice is to watch some of the videos out there for setting up and functioning of the product, but once the basics have been practised on scrap pieces, you are good to go.
I have to say that this is a great little saw.
It sits perfectly on my crafting table, it does not get in my way when I am painting or doing other craft bits that I need to do.
I would highly recommend.

Very pleased with this addition to my Drwmel collection. Not exactly built for cutting up logs but handled 18mm ply easily with a good finish. Good size for those with a smaller work space. Recommended.

What a machine and you can use it without it table making life ease
Amazing and simple. Perfect for fine cutting and shaping of all sorts of materials.
I haven’t used it yet, but after assembling it I was quite impressed with the quality. I would recommend this just because of the price and it beats buying something big and expensive.
The only thing I would say is the top pin on the plug keeps falling in the plug so it won’t go in the socket. But I can get it to stay most times.

Very easy to use just what the wife wanted, can’t fault it at all.
The saw does what it claims it can, good tool, made 12 windows 50mmx75mm for a model house.
Bought to cut hardline tubing for custom loop, now being used to cut laminate floor. Excellent buy
This scroll saw is easy to assemble and set up. I found it very noisy, but with ear defenders on it was OK. I used it for cutting curved mouldings for repairs to an antique mirror. it is not heavy duty, but coped with hardwood up to 1/2″ and did the job I wanted it for. Not a tool I will use often, but handy to have in my tool kit for future jobs. Rather expensive for what it does. JD

I’m a woman mid 40, and I’m cake maker, i make 3d cakes with wooden and metal structure, so far i was cutting the wood by hand and was making me tired and can’t get the exact result, i ordered this saw to make my job easy and here are photos of my first go, it’s very easy to use and can cut curves and shapes which will give me more opportunity to add more designs on my cakes, also was next day delivery on prime.

Easy to assemble and use.Sturdy . Ideal for smaller projects
I am very pleased with the performance of my saw,
I have only 2 Comments
1 A with my Dremel Drill I do not use the on/off switch. I set the speed and then use a switched extension lead.
2 it took me over 20 minutes slotting the saw into the base. Even watching several videos did not help. I am not dismantling it until my present project id finished.

This is a seriously good bit of kit, despite the small size and plastic fittings (the plastic is study and well engineered to fit together).
I was able to cut accurately as soon as I’d managed to get the blade fitted (I strongly advise watching YouTube for guidance fitting the blades). When you’ve done it once or twice, it’s really easy.
Some reviews say the kit doesn’t come with a fence. Mine came with a sliding fence which can be locked in place and the angle can be set easily using the ‘protractor’-style fitting.
I’m still on my first set of blades (there are a selection included for different tasks).
I have cut everything from heavy cardboard, hardboard, plastic to sheet metal and thicker wood. Take your time and it will not let you down.
Probably the best tool I have bought in the past 5 years. Highly recommended.

Fabulous piece of kit for small projects or modelling. Easy to set up and put away and makes fine cuts very accurately. Wish I’d bought one sooner.
Having had chance to use this motor tool, I can say that I am very pleased with it’s performance. It was chosen on the strength of the name; Dremel are a long established firm with a good reputation, which this lives up to. It comes in a solid carrying case and isn’t difficult to assemble. I haven’t yet succeeded in disassembling it; the mechanism holding the saw to the work bench is very stiff. It clamps readily to either of my two work benches; bending low to insert the clamps needs patience, as visibility below the table isn’t too good; similarly the on / off switch is stiff to switch on. That aside it is very easy to use – I’ve cut a dozen or so wild birds from half inch pine board with no fuss or problems. I would recommend this tool to prospective purchasers without reservation. Excellent.
