Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Usersvery dark brown – almost black
spacious enough for what I need it for
    weatherproof and neat
easyish to build. Better imagery needed in manual to illustrate the back wall build and how to hang the doors
lacks rigidity – especially when opened. Be nice if the optional shelf was included FOC to bring some sturdiness across the width.
is it worth 143? Probably – as it took me 20 mins to build alone. You couldn’t build a weatherproof store of this size out of wood – and it would take a weekend to do.

    Slightly below expectations

I needed some outdoor storage to store my petrol generator in the back garden. The garden is secure so weather protection/keeping dry is my main priority. The shed arrived on time and in tact. For the first time ever I had to provide the Amazon delivery guy with a one-time passcode. After searching through my account I eventually found the code (10 minutes of my life wasted!!). The shed was simple to assemble and took less than 15 minutes on my own. The only tool needed was an electric screwdriver. I drilled a few holes in the base where the back slips in to prevent water from gathering in the bottom and the same again in the front where the doors sit. It is well made and I ignored the instructions to fit the doors after the side panels were fitted and did so before fitting the side panels thereby saving a lot of fiddling about. Overall I am happy with my purchase and after several hours of rain, no leaks appeared. Looks good.

This storage container is just what we were after for putting the kids bikes & scooters in. The grey blends in with the grey fence and you don’t really notice it. We thought it was a good price & my husband put it together in about an hour. We haven’t had it long but no water has leaked in. So glad we bought it.

I had read previous reviews before purchasing and read that water leaked in through the back panel. You have 2 options to overcome this. I drilled a series of tiny holes at the base of the channel into which the back panel sits. These are small enough to let any rain out and stop insects getting in. This is a design floor but easily overcome. The alternative is to mastic the panel in on assembly. The first option is the best.
Very easy to assemble. It appears a bit flimsy with the top up and the doors open as there is no cross member to hold it all together. Having said that when the doors are closed and the lid is down it becomes robust.
I am very pleased with it. It will store all 6 garden chairs and a few other bits and bobs. Thoroughly recommend.

    Easy assembly

This shed was very easy to assemble and looks great at the front of my property. However, the doors of the shed are flimsy and last week, when the dustbin men were emptying the bins, one of the locks fell off and has subsequently disappeared which is frustrating, especially when the shed is so new!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had this outdoor box for nearly a year and overall it’s a good box. We got the 850 size and it holds a good amount of garden stuff if you pack it in well. One thing I would note though is if you don’t have the box on concrete or something perfectly flat the doors won’t all lock in place easily, as the whole of the plastic frame flexes.
It’s kept the water out well, and being plastic it’ll last foreve

Overall we are happy with these. Very easy to assemble. The doors on ours are a little wayward because of the weight we put on it. They distort a little according to where the weight is placed. Not too bad. I have braced across the inside with a fitted wooden shelf. This has made them much sturdier.

It’s a bit of a pain to put together. There are instructions but the pictures are too small to be much help. The back panel is in two pieces and the instructions are really too small. Myself and my wife managed to assemble it in about an hour. I am 74 and blind in one eye and my wife is in a wheel chair so we didn’t do too bad. Once assembled it feels sturdy enough. Won’t know about waterproof until it rains. Delivery was very good it’s very heavy though so you definitely need two people.

OK, it is just that, it is not that sturdy but it does its job as long as you treat it gently. I do not mean that it is falling apart easily, maybe I should have thought about spending a little bit more money to get something a bit more sturdy.

A bit of a struggle to finish off assembly. Definitely need a drill for final assembly instructions. But it makes a good store for a rollator. Just fits by storing sideways. Has let in a little water on stormy night. Pleased with appearances and finished sturdiness.

Nice looking, sturdy (as plastic can be) storage unit. Fairly easy to assemble but note that if you can’t find the ‘metal bars it could be part assembled to the lid already. Make sure you place it on level ground so doors open and close OK. A little pricey for what it is, in my opinion, but nevertheless, competitive.

This storage box was very easy to assemble and definitely suits our purpose for story our children’s bikes and scooters.

It does feel a bit flimsy particularly the doors, so I have decided against fitting shelves which was my original plan.

That said it does what we need to it do and provides outside storage for items we don’t have space for inside and it’s easy for the kids to use.

The instructions are misleading. Also, the base is not meant to take weight. The ad. showed compost bags stacked beside each other but that makes the base dip in the middle. I stood this on level crazy paving/bricks. Looks good, not sure about the weatherproof bit. Useful for garden tools and small bags of anything, also hanging baskets not in use. Tools have to be stored horizontally. The cats find it a wonderful place to sunbathe! Good size, good colour.

We bought this as a type of kennel for our very large Belgian shepherd as the others did not seem large enough. I suppose if you build things regularly it would not cause too much of a problem but my husband struggled a little with it. It is sturdy and would do the job for its purpose. Our next door neighbour has offered to buy it from us as our reason for buying has not worked out.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s a budget store that easily fits shovel, pick, fork, a box of tools and a lawnmower and hedgetrimmers along with other bits an bobs.

Very easy to assemble, but yes you need a power drill to make life easy and the parts you need to drill have pilots but otherwise you need to bite through two bits of plastic.

There are some gaps notably from the top lid to the sides but nothing significant (design flaw here as an inch more material on the top cap would have weatherproofed the top at least)

Base sits significantly off the ground to cause no issues but the bottom of the doors will I am certain let water in (nothing that can’t be fixed with drainage holes, but time will tell)

It’s a fair size, and for the price and ease of assembly as well as the thickness of material I don’t think anyone can complain. Photo above (with added spaniel for scale) shows how it fits my garden set up, and I’m pretty sure this would take two standard bins but snuggly

    Hope this helps someone

I think I might be getting issues because the ground is on a bit of a slant. The doors line up but the bolt mechanism is a little flimsy and also the foot locking bar is a little flimsy. The hinge on one side doesn’t quite engage properly so I have to move the lid to one side when I push it down then it works. Also I find that the hook that connects to the bin lid falls off so it is a matter of lifting the lid slowly otherwise chain will twist and the hook will fall off. It is absolutely fine if the bins are for yourself because it only takes a bit of effort to adapt but I think a sturdier solution is needed if the bins are communal. Otherwise it is an attractive solution, it serves its purpose and it is probably better than I describe.

  54. KindraNaylor says:

I made sure that I ordered the larger size – 1200l – so that two full size UK bins would fit easily.
Assembly was straight forward; the biggest problem was, as others have said, all the screws and fully tightening them. Even with a power driver, this was quite difficult. The doors, however, were easy to fit after the sides were in place as the top hinge moulding could be attached to the door and then clicked into place. Altogether, it took me about two hours to complete on my own, but I am in my eighties! My neighbours, and even the postman, have commented how good it looks. So far no water has entered despite two recemt thunderstorms. Very satisfied.

Generally pleased with the purchase as it does exactly what it was bought for – to hide our 2 wheelie bins. I’m not particularly good at DIY and there were some assembly challenges but I got there in the end. No leaks as reported in some reviews, but it wasn’t as sturdy as I’d envisaged but it does the job and actually looks quite good. A wooden bin store would probably have been better, but these are considerably more expensive and so far I’ve no regrets.

Requires two persons to assemble. Approx 2 hours to erect. Instructions mainly pictures, very little narrative. Over 40 screws to fix and some click assembly.
Not sure if this is a design fault: back panel fixed by a number of screws but no holes on the post of the side panels, therefore screws forced through the plastic. Once this has been achieved, sturdy enough. Fully lockable with two padlocks (not supplied) for extra security.
Overall, better than I at first thought; looks great and a reasonable price.

Easy to assemble, strong and spacious for our needs, there is some flex in the side panels.
Well designed drainage system on lid BUT another rainwater related issue needs to be addressed, namely the channel holding base of rear panel that fills with rainwater and seeps through the join onto base of unit, thus ruining our patio chair cushions.
Drilling five drainage holes in the base of the channel has rectified the problem – this should be done at manufacture stage.

like that its a cheaper alternative to wood and that it gives the space i need for my allotment tools. was easy to build until the last part – you need to screw in a lot of screws to fix the back panel to the sides – however there are no pre drilled holes which made it difficult for me, even my partner struggled – also it didnt line up as it should which made it even harder. the shed is very light so in exposed places (like my allotment) i have had to put a concrete slab inside and on the lid to keep it weighted down. one other design fault – the loops for a padlock dont stay clicked in place which is frustrating at times. on the whole though i am happy with it and what i need it for.

  73. Jacquie Walker, News 4 Anchor says:

Purchased for a care home for overflow PPE storage.
Arrived earlier then expected, (after two days, if memory serves!). Goes together easily; although you need a screwdriver a few times all the major panels are push fit. It recommends two people to assemble, but I did it by myself as there was only 2 of us on shift.
It has kept everything dry despite the rain we’ve had of late. One very minor problem is that one of the padlock staples was not a snug fit and unless the doors are lined up properly, this can be pushed out, not a huge issue and the only thing I can think of to complain about!
Don’t forget to buy padlocks, unless you have a secure garden.

  75. Anonymous says:

If you want a waterproof box from the off then this isn’t for you. It says weatherproof yet the rain managed to find its way in through the back of the bottom of the box via the groove the back slots into.
My husband had to take it apart, and simply drilled holes along said groove to allow the water to drain away. 2 days later and 2 days of rain and the box is dry.
Shouldn’t need to do this and it’s no doubt voided the warranty but I’d say we’ve improved the design.
Other than the above issue, the box looks nice and easily stores all of our outdoor furniture cushions (we have bagged them up just in case) are stored securely and tidily in one place.

This is my second order of this shed. It’s a neat way of storing garden items. When it comes to assembling, I had learnt a lot from my first order. First, there’s a channel on the base that the back panel slots into. Rain water sits in the channel and has nowhere to go but inside the shed. Not a massive amount, but enough to form a puddle. If you drill small holes in the base channel before assembly you will eradicate this problem. Second, the doors are quite difficult to fit once the sides are on. I put the door and the side panel on at the same time, which made things a lot easier. You could do with two people to do this, but as I assembled mine entirely alone it is manageable. The whole assembly took about half an hour and I’m no DIY expert. Lightweight and easy to move if you need to, this is a great little shed. However, wheelie bins and adult bicycles do not fit in it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersTo make this product waterproof, when you put it together, use clear mastic in the sides and back panel where they go into the base, as otherwise will fill with water and leak inside, put doors on as you put the sides on, as easier to locate hinges

Golden Review Award: 38 From Our UsersSimple to assemble, really sturdy and good looking. The roof lifts as well as the doors opening so it is really versatile. Only slight issue is that the back panel slots into a channel in the base. If it rains heavily water drips into this channel and, once full, it then leaks inside the bottom of the shed. I drilled a few holes in the bottom of the channel so the water drains out and it seems to have solved the problem. A shame the manufacturers didn’t do something similar. All in all we are very pleased and have two at the back of the house. Would recommend as long as you make the drain holes yourself..

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersSimple to assemble, really sturdy and good looking.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI’m pleased. You have to make sure the base is level, then it won’t leak. I watched the you tube tutorial to see how it was put together and then it was easy peasy. It is light but that makes it easy to carry to where you want to put it. Having said that, I managed to lose a small part, which the company sent me without any fuss.
Really thinking about buying another. Definitely value for money in my book.

    Pleased 😀

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSome holes didn’t line up, and one of the pieces where the padlock goes doesn’t click into place so tends to fall out when trying to lock it, otherwise quite sturdy
