The keyboard was extremely smooth when typing. It comes with solid package and the keyboard inside is of really high quality. I used it to play games and it takes almost no time for me to get used to the keyboard. Pretty awesome keyboard!
My corsair K65 and the K70 both stuck keys.
The Durgod is perfect so far.
Only complaint is the lack of media controls. Holding function and reaching across the keyboard kinda sucks. I know, but it would be nice.
The keys are ‘double shot’ keys meaning the letters wont wear off of them. That’s a big bonus for the longevity of the product. The keys have a nice sortof satin texture on them that feels premium. The switches feel good, but I am a bit suspicious as to why not all the switches look the same. The “Cherry” logo looks different on some of the switches. I have seen people mention this about other keyboards in online forums, that there are “genuine Cherry MX” switches out there with different cherry logos on them….and this keyboard has both types, so I have no idea if all or some of the MX Brown switches in this keyboard are authentic.
The keyboard works well, I chose MX Brown because I think they are the best for business use in typing. Not too loud but still a bit of that ‘tactile’ bump right before the bottom of the keystroke…a hint of a simulation of the feeling of those old buckling spring switches on old keyboards from the 80s, but not a hard enough press to cause fatigue quickly. Also works perfectly for gaming so no complaints there.
The keyboard is nice and heavy, and the ‘faceplate’ is made of metal. Looks high quality and technical, not “gamer” style with childish rgb carnival lights.
You will be hard-pressed to find another “genuine cherry mx” mechanical keyboard with doubleshot keys, and a NUM pad, in this pricerange….I chose this one simply because it was the cheapest I could find that matches this description, and its been working well for me for almost a year.
As another reviewer pointed out, the stabilizers under the long keys are not high quality. The spacebar is very loud compared to the other keys, so if you are expecting a premium smooth silent action on the spacebar and shift keys, this probably is not the best choice and you should look at a higher price range. I can type around 80wpm on a good day and I dont feel the loose action on the Space causes a serious problem. If I knew what I was doing enough, or cared enough, I could probably gain some typing speed by upgrading the spacebar stabilizer somehow.
For me, typing comfort and ease is the most important thing, with gaming an occasional thing, and the Durgod Taurus does pretty good. The main reason I did not get the Durgod Corona (same thing but with white backlight) is because of the increased power draw it would put on my laptop and I wanted to avoid doing that.
Bought this for use in the office after getting fed up with terrible wireless keyboards. The quiet brown switches have good feedback and the board itself is rigid and stable. I have had a couple keycaps come loose but they popped back on and are holding well after. It’s definitely not quiet for an office environment but it’s not overly disturbing to those around me even though I’m a hammer typer.
You can read other reviews to learn more about the generic positives of this keyboard, but I just want to point out that the Durgod Zeus Engine software for the RGB control is literally a straight copy of Razer’s Chroma Studio – which is a good thing! Not many keyboard lighting software come with such comprehensive and intricate control over lighting effects, layers, and directions.
The PBT doubleshot keycaps feel great with Cherry MX Brown switches, but some of the transparent areas of the keys have slightly darker, more opaque areas (most noticeably, the “8” and “Del” keys) that make the light effect on the key look less uniform.
I chose cherry mx red silent switch, which is a right decision.
The typing feeling is very smooth and the sound is really quit, I will not bother the people around me, and I can type faster now.
This is my first mechanical keyboard, and I put in a lot of research before buying. I had been using a 10-year-old Lenovo board that felt as close I could get to mechanical out of the keyboards I had (and I love Lenovo quality). I went with the MX Blues because I enjoy the tactile feel and auditory pleasure that comes from switches. It does sound like a typewriter if you type lightly.
I am a writer and editor, so I put in quite a few hours on the keyboard, and there are a few things that I will have to get used to. The keyboard is quite compact, and I have very long fingers, which makes me feel slightly cramped while typing, but I will get used to it quickly. I love high-quality/industrial items to which the product is close. I think it will last me a long time if I don’t get sucked into the mechanical keyboard hobby and end up buying ten more, lol.
Pros:
Solid build quality (heavy)
Decent packaging and dust cover
Does not move on the desk (I can shake my whole desk by pushing on the keyboard before it slips)
It came with nice and decently heavy-gauge cords (USB-A and USB-C)
I know this sounds silly, but the included mousepad coaster is also of high quality and fully stitched.
It came with a key puller and dust cover.
The Okay:
The compactness will take some time to get used to; it is good for desk space and portability but is a bit cramped for writing.
The key feel (much better than ABS)
No backlighting
No individual media keys
Software
The keyboard itself is solid, though one of the keycaps had a tendency to pop of over time, and the ‘F’ key ended up coming off the switch completely when the back of it broke. Purchased some new keycaps, and all is well again.

It is sleek to the sight and to the touch and the second one I’ve purchased. Great for keeping my loud typing to a minimum at work and home and but the keys still feel responsive. Having some trouble getting the software to work…but figured out the hot keys for changing RGB on the keyboard on the top right. I get so many compliments on this too!
I have very little basis for comparison but for what it’s worth I think this is a great keyboard. This is my first mechanical keyboard, cherry mx red option, and I couldn’t be happier, I type a lot for work so wanted to get something for the office that was professional looking but could have the option for some color if desired. Absolutely love it.
This keyboard is beautiful. It is sturdy and perfectly crafted. It is heavy and worth every bit of its pricetag. Accessories package is generous. Durgod software is easy to install and configure and offers several customization options and animations. The USB-C cables are of adequate length and feature woven textile (polyester fibre) sheathing. The keyboard’s frame, while plastic, is rigid and coating with a space grey paint that gives the impression of being made on metal. Several reviews mention this plastic frame but I still had to knock/tap on it to hear the sound to be sure. The white LED light is pure/untainted/uncoloured. Its intensity can be adjusted with presets. I register less eyestrain during gaming sessions than when using a keyboard with RGB lighting.
Overall, this will last… a lifetime. No way to know for sure, of course. But it’s a premium product. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this keyboard to enthusiasts looking for a top tier quality gaming option outside of the conventional brands.
If you share a space with someone in hearing range and are a fan of actually good keyboards, this is a great keyboard to get. Even quieter than a scissor switch or a membrane, needs only a soft touch but can take a heavy and honestly well performing with a incredibly low sound level if any at all. Honestly worth the purchase for an office or other shared environment or your home if you’re looking to keep things hush hush.

I really liked this product, it is exactly the same as the picture and it came packaged amazingly
Amazing keyboard, recommend a pad under wrist as its a chunky boi. Great sound, sturdy. Everything i wanted.
Got mine with the silent reds. I love the quality of the keyboard, it’s nice and hefty. I use it for work in my office and is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend it.
After using this keyboard for several weeks I decided that I could not live with the keycaps. The dark grey keys were just too dark and the keys with a double function were marked side by side instead of up and down like old school, so I decided to replace them. I replaced them with an all white set from MISTEL at a cost of $55. When changing over the keycaps I decided to keep the Durgod primary letter keys but replaced all others. The MISTEL keys were a perfect match with the Durgod keycaps that I retained. I now have a keyboard with all-white keys that have a layout exactly like the old IBM keyboards. This will be my keyboard for a very long time – love it.
I purchased the model with unlighted White keys and Cherry Blue switches.
A great keyboard true to the tradition of previous great keyboards like the IBM, Model M, only better. The build quality is beyond reproach. The sound of the keys, positively affected by the baffling and weight of the entire keyboard can only be described as pure perfection – especially the sound of the Space Bar. Can anything on the keyboard be improved? Yes, just one thing. The gray keys are a little too dark. A lighter shade of gray would allow better contrast with the black markings. Other than that, perfect.
I want to praise Durgod for bringing to market a great keyboard available without under-cap lighting. Nearly all of todays’ keyboards have under-cap lighting which I find, despite their popularity, distracting and of zero benefit to either gaming or business.
I bought this keyboard used/recertified on Amazon for $89.99 (great deal, 40% off) — it was pretty much brand new/open-box.
This keyboard is truly an amazing piece of work.
The way it looks on the desk.
Very hefty weight for stability.
The LED lights are bright.
The satisfaction of the keys and the sounds as you type. Yes — this would be suitable for writers and people who type high volume.
Overall phenomenal keyboard and great investment. Trust me, skip the budget and do not get that $40 Logi keyboard. Pitch in an extra $80 and get this one — it’s totally worth it…
When covid hit, I left my “good” keyboard at the office. I’ve been making due with a Razor mechanical keyboard with their in house switches. I’ve always been a fan of Cherry MX Blue switches, so I decided enough was enough and started hunting. I came across the Durgod K310 while looking for inexpensive mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX Blues. It looked promising, so I went for it.
Overall, I really like it! It’s built like a tank and the blue switches are a dream to type on. I’m a software developer, so I type for 8+ hours a day. The software took a little bit to find online. It’s called Zues for anyone looking. Just Google “Durgod Zues”.
I like the customizability of the keys. I turned the “context menu” key into a right windows key and my scroll lock became a macro key for a common key combination I do while working. I do kinda wish it has a few macro keys, but that’s on me for not expecting that I’d want them.
My one complaint is with the backlit keycaps and even this is being nit picky. The backlit portion does not do a good job of evenly distributing the light across the text. You get a “hot spot” of bright light in the middle that fades off fast so the edges of text is not well lit (see my pictures). But I replaced the keycaps anyway and the new keycaps don’t have this issue.
All in all, the k310 is a heck of a lot of value for the money. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one or recommend one to a family member or friend. It’s a very good keyboard for the price.
I own two Durgod keyboards already, and want to purchase a third, but the specs are misleading or at least somewhat incomplete. So can anyone help me out? I’ve sent messages to both Durgod and HK Gaming, but have received no responses whatever from them.
This one: a new full-size “Durgod Taurus K310 Corona Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – 104 Keys – Double Shot PBT – NKRO – USB Type C (Cherry Brown, White Backlit)” [ASIN: B07YQSZMXW] can store its key mappings and macros **within the keyboard itself**, so that I can move it from machine to machine without needing to have the Durgod Zeus Engine (DZE) running. Although it must be programmed with the DZE on a Windows machine, I can use it on Linux and all of my customizations are available with no Durgod software needed.
My ten-month-old ten-key-less “Durgod Taurus K320 TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – 87 Keys – Double Shot PBT – NKRO – USB Type C (Cherry Brown, White)” [ASIN: B07B8DS585] does NOT store its key mappings and macros in the keyboard, and those are only available on a Windows machine with the DZE running so, although it’s a great keyboard and works *as a keyboard* on Linux, none of the customizations are available. (Durgod does not have a Linux version of the DZE and Wine has no support for HID connections).
I want to purchase another ten-key-less version but one that retains its key mappings and macros in the keyboard. Is it safe to assume that the “Durgod Taurus K320 TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – 87 Keys – Double Shot PBT – NKRO – USB Type C (Cherry Brown, Corona (White Backlit))” [ASIN: B07VXR9RY7] does this? It seems like it’s identical to the full-size version I have, but the Durgod product descriptions make no mention of whether or not any specific keyboard model stores its mapping on the computer or within the keyboard so it’s hard to tell.
Otherwise, both the keyboards are built like tanks, and are great to type on though!
What can I say? I had no idea that investing in a mechanical keyboard would make this much of a difference.
I knew I wanted a change, and something that would be more satisfying and responsive than my cheap $40 gaming keyboard, so I went on a quest to find something better.
I started out by ordering a New Model M from Unicomp, and I really loved the way it felt and looked, and especially that it was so solid, coming in at 7 pounds… but it was just too loud for my tiny office.
I then purchased this keyboard, but with the Brown MX switches. It felt amazing, but I was surprised to find that it was still too loud, although definitely not as loud as a Model M. Finally, I sent that back and reordered with the Silent Red MX switches, and I am in paradise.
I watched some YouTube videos comparing the sounds of the different MX switches, and realized that the Silent Red MX switches are not really silent, they are just the quietest of them all, which is what I was looking for: to still have some sound, but for it to not be annoying to me, my wife, or whoever I might be on a call with (I like to type notes during meetings).
Every keystroke is so satisfying.. it travels such a nice distance and the light pushback against my fingers after each press makes me feel very much in control of what I’m inputting. Particularly satisfying is the repeated use of a button, like the backspace or an arrow key. Being a child of the 80s/90s, I also really love the classic white w/ grey keys layout… it brings me back.
This thing is build solid, and the weight is very reassuring. It’s only been a week, and I’ll be sure to update my review if anything goes wrong, but it feels like this thing is going to last a long time. I’m also pretty sure that I’ll be unable to happily use anything other than a mechanical keyboard from this point forward.
Nice mechanical keyboard. Very good for gaming. Keys are sensitive to even slight touch – that is what I was looking for. Love the colors.
My ‘R’ key is not working properly anymoe. Have to pess it multiple times to make it work. I’d like to know if there is a waranty or some sort available. It has been about 9 months since purchase. Thanks.
I’ve seen some complaints mentioning that they keys make noise when being depressed (the noise of plastic sliding against more plastic) and I don’t think it’s an issue at all, as I’ve never paid attention to such a minor detail. The cherry MX blue switches and the sound of them bottoming out far exceed the noise made by the keycaps having slight contact with their mount.
Those who like having silent switches and obsess hearing such noises should probably consider another option, though I wonder if such a silent keyboard actually exists.
Other than that issue, the keyboard is great to type on. No binding of keys regardless of what angle I actuate the keys from. The spacebar has a decent stabilizer which works as intended, the other keys can wiggle just a little bit (by a few millimeters), there’s a little freeplay but not enough to actually affect my typing.
I was concerned at first about how i’d distinguish the media keys but it turns out that all keys that aren’t affected by the Fn key will have their lighting turned off when Fn is pressed. there’s also the printing on the side of the keycap facing you. (These do not light up)
I’ve not used the macro key function, but i’ve heard the software is a bit dated.
The keyboard is quite heavy, and is very firm… I strain to even slightly twist it. It has cable routing valleys on the bottom of the keyboard to tidy up the wire.
As a bonus they include a keycap pulling tool which makes cleaning a breeze.
I’d recommend buying this keyboard if you’re looking for a relatively budget priced full mechanical keyboard.
I replaced a model M because I wanted lower volume. This is my 4th modern mechanical keyboard (the real model Ms in the 80s don’t count).
It is hefty and solid and feels good typing while the click sounds are (relatively) quiet without O rings added.
If there was a quieter one I’d buy that.
I bought this from two different companies because the first one was “lost” (likely stolen). Make sure you check the box that says to add Amazon packaging. By default it ships it without. It’s not worth losing a star over, the product is great like everyone says.
It might seem to be on the more expensive side. But you definitely get a nice quality keyboard. I highly recommend it.
Love this keyboard. This thing is heavy. In the solid way. I have never been more pleased with a keyboard. I have experienced other keyboard where the keys are little more far apart. These keys I find to be a little on the tighter closer side.
It also Comes with a usb-usb and a usb-USBC cable which I was very pleased to find.
Love this keyboard. Will be sticking with Durgod products in the future.
Only had it a few days, so I have no idea about how it will last… but it is very solid. Had a keyboard with Gateron Brown switches, which I liked, but these Cherry MX Browns require a little more pressure and feel more clicky than the Gaterons.
The keycaps are excellent and are less wobbly than the Keychrons. This keyboard is just solid and looks very nice.
This keyboard is extremely well built, love it! Replaced my das keyboard with this.
Only annoying thing: the “windows menu” key is useless, so I reprogrammed it, but the reprogramming is not perfect…
– have to get their software for it (poorly done software… tries to be flashy, not very functional)
– once you reprogram the key, you have to hit Fn + F12 every time you reboot your computer to restore the “profile”…
Other than that annoyance (originally due to Microsoft bad design), the keyboard is excellent.
This keyboard is incredible. I ordered the Space Grey with Cherry Silent Red switches. The switches sound and feel amazing. They are nice and quiet and have a almost “velvety” feel. Sure $140 is a lot, but in my opinion it is more than worth it. They include and great key-puller, and all the cables you would need. The packaging was simple and clean, and the overall build quality of the board is beautiful. I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend.
I really have nothing bad to say about this: it does exactly what I wanted it to do, it’s fairly robust, the backlight is great for working at night, and it’s a full-sized mechanical keyboard with all the buttons you need. It’s also not garish looking and doesn’t have silly GAYMOR coloured lights on it.
A word of caution: always lift it when moving it. Do not slide or drag it. I have managed to wear off the little rubber pad on the adjustable stand parts of it through friction. It was my own fault, and they were re-applied easily enough with some glue, but it’s something to watch out for.
My only gripe is that because the keys are set in a slightly lower dipped area, it collects dust and dirt very easily. You’ll want to clean it regularly.
I really love this keyboard. Feels great and has good keycaps. I took the brown mx switches which feels great as well, but its a more personal taste I guess.
The switches are genuine Cherry, the quality is awesome and it looks incredible! Definitely worth the premium.
It feels and sounds amazing. I wish it used a metal plate instead of all plastic and was a little bit less expensive but it’s overall an awesome keyboard that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Best keyboard I’ve ever used. Works great. Feels sturdy and it has a little heft to it. I got the Silent Red switches and they’re pretty great. No clicking and no clacking from the keys being pressed all the way down quickly. I switched from a membrane keyboard to this and it was worth ever penny.
I absolutely love it, one of the best purchases i’ve made on Amazon. It feels made of quality and the typing experience is just lovely.
The keyboard really does worth it’s price. Build quality is on point, it feels solid with it’s ~5lbs. Keys don’t have texture, but they are far away from being slippery. Cherry browns are perfect to feel a tactile yet still a silent experience.
My only complaint is about the backlit, but don’t expect the best in class lightning in this keyboard. It’s still very bright but don’t cover everything on larger keys (see picture).
I give this keyboard a 4/5, but I would give it a 9/10 if Amazon were giving more stars! It’s worth it 😉
I like everything about this keyboard except the fact it does not have any backlighting. Keyboard is extremely sturdy, very little flex when trying to bend. The removable cable works well – and is USB C so can easily be replaced. There is cable routing that allows you to route the cable to the left, right and center.
Overall a great keyboard.
This was my second mechanical keyboard. After my first one (an AZIO Retro) I couldn’t work in my office w/ the spongy crap Dell keyboard at my desk. So I have spent as much on keyboards this year than I have on clothing … maybe COVID isolation depression got to me … ANYWAY
Not much to say but this is the most satisfying keyboard I’ve ever had. It is solidly built… it weighs over 2 lbs which is a good deal more than the standard issue stuff. I’m not a heavy PC gamer and I don’t use a lot of macros so I can’t comment on either of these features. The action on the keys is perfect and percussive, good travel, classic ANSI 104 layout. Love the aesthetics (I bought the white/gray one). The ergonomics as far as angle adjustment is also appreciated. If you spend a lot of time typing you should invest in something that will make it more enjoyable, more comfortable, and faster. And this would be a perfectly good choice.
I would recommend this keyboard if you are looking for something for use in the office. The Silent Reds option is very quiet, and feels good. I’d never used silent reds before and do think I prefer browns for silent alternatives, but the keyboard is nonetheless a pleasure to use. It has good weight and feels like it is made of quality materials.
Absolutely perfect keyboard. No stupid backlighting or unnecessary fancy junk. Just a perfect typing experience.
Love the keyboard, it feels extremely solid. It also comes with lubed stabilizers which is a huge bonus and greatly appreciated. My only area of complaint is the keycaps, which are fine except for the shine through areas, where you some don’t light up on the edges of longer words like on the caps lock and shift keys, and there is also a slightly noticeable connecting piece for the center of the o, s and other similar letters that blocks some of the light and looks a bit imperfect. Overall though, great keyboard and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality minimalist keyboard

Bought 2 of these for work (for myself and co-worker) to replace our aging Logitech keyboards.
Build quality is really good on this. Keyboard has good weight and doesn’t move around.
The mechanical switches have a satisfying tactile feel and audible click. There is little to no rattle in the larger keys (space bar, shift, enter) like I’ve experience with other mechanical keyboards. The stabilizers work well.
The keycaps on this keyboard are great. They are soft texture to them typing, difficult to describe but makes the typing experience that much better.
I like the keyboard so much, I ordered another one for my home office. Would definitely recommend this product.
Would be nice to have dedicated media controls, but for the quality provided I can live without them.
Using FN key and F1 to F8, you can control the media and volume anyways.
Overall it’s a really solid and hefty keyboard, feels great. The fact that it’s available on Amazon with Cherry MX switches is amazing in and of its own, even more so for this price. The keyboard comes with two USB cables of different lengths which is awesome, as well as a key cap remover and even a coaster (?).
I docked one star for the keycaps, as they look a bit cheap and some of the printed characters are aligned weirdly.
I picked up this keyboard to replace the two I was using between my work setup and home PC (Home keyboard too loud with blue switches but the work membrane keyboard? I don’t need to explain why it has to go.)
This thing types beautifully and its obvious the moment you open up the package how high quality it is. It feels silly gushing over a keyboard but I’ve only ever dabbled with lower end mechanicals and I didn’t appreciate how nice a higher end would feel in my hands.
I already feel more confident typing on this thing than I do with my home blue-switches keyboard that has been my staunch co-pilot through years of gaming. And it has the kind of quiet class and cool looks like fits any kind of setup, work or home gaming.
Highly recommend!
(As a note for anyone wondering, you have full control over a spectrum of lighting styles on the Corona including disabling the backlight entirely), and the monochrome white LED looks gorgeous on any of them.)
El material del teclado se siente de una calidad muy alta, las teclas son Doubleshot PBT, Durgod una marca para entusiastas altamente recomendable.
I process mortgages, write a lot of emails and things of that nature for work. I wanted a keyboard that really gave me a typing experience that I was longing for but I couldn’t quite put my finger on what that experience feels like. With that said, I have had this for a couple of hours and have just clocked in and I felt the need to write this. I got the cherry red silent switches, which when paired with the finish on the key caps of this piece of equipment, makes for the best typing experience I have ever experienced. Money well spent, looking for forward to using this for years to come as my career progresses. 10 / 10 would recommend.
I have a few mechanical keyboards. Some are off the shelf from known manufacturers, some that I’ve built myself. The build quality of this keyboard is very, very good. The keycaps are great. This is definitely the keyboard to get.
I love this keyboard. I bought the Taurus 320 TKL Cherry Brown 8 months ago and it was my favourite keyboard until I bought this one (Taurus 310 104 key Cherry Black). The black switches are amazing. Extremely satisfying thock against the metal plate. They are quite heavy and it took me an hour before I was striking the keys well coming of the brown switches. But it’s difficult to imagine using anything else now to be honest. The software is incredibly simple – so simple it looks like it couldn’t possibly work. But it does. Well. Every bit as well as Corsair’s iCUE. Just without the bells and whistles. The keycaps are PBT and a good thickness. I don’t have a pair of calipers handy but I can compare them to other boards I’ve had. They’re thicker than: the DasKeyboard Pro 4 stock caps, Corsair K95 & K63 stocks, ROG Claymore stock and Puri Cougar stock caps. I reckon they very close to the thickness of Tai-Hao’s Double Shot PBT caps. And waaay thinker than Tai-Haos’ Double Shot ABS. I’d recommend this board to anyone. I have no idea how it compares to a Leopold or a Varmilo or a Ducky… but it’s sturdier in build and acoustics than any Corsair or Asus ROG I’ve ever had. And needless to say, any Cougar, Royal Kludge, or Redragon as well. I’d say it’s almost as robust as my DasKeyboard Pro 4… and that’s not something I’d ever describe another keyboard as.
This is a good keyboard for its price! Works just like how other reviewers mentioned.
Very sturdy worth the value if your typing a lo
This mechanical keyboard is quieter than my membrane keyboard. The keyboard is real quality. The white backlighting is bright enough to work in the dark. I have no complaints and would recommend this to anyone.
Went with the noise reduce switches as an act of kindness to others. Feel great – keyboard has weight to make it stable and excellent ‘feel’ when typing.
I went with the white backlit. Pleased with the backlighting.
I was looking for a new keyboard and really like the look and that it used Cherry switches. It makes that click-click noise I remember form the original IBM PC keyboard from the 80’s. Very well made. I just wish they had replacement key caps for it with the Mac keys since I use an iMac. I’m looking if anyone comes across any.
l:dr: it is great for work, a must buy
I tested this keyboard for one day at the time of this review, on Linux Manjaro, mostly for work. I will update this review if anything changes.
The product arrived fast, it is just as described by the seller.
The exterior is beautiful, their key caps are well printed and they feel good on your fingertips.
It comes with two cables, one ends in USB-A and the other in C.The A is longer and it was best for my main computer. I also used the C on another computer. It helped my productivity because you could switch computers using the same keyboard by just swappingthe cables.
It comes with a tool to remove the keycaps, it is a nice decision. It helps with maintenance, and you can check the switches and the quality of the build. I didn’t fullyopen the keyboard to check the insides yet.
I love that it worked out of the box with Linux, including the numpad and fn keys. Good keyboards work without much hassle on Linux.
I used all the keys, and they are working fine so far. I use a lot of the numpad, It is great, if you do not use the numpad I suggest you try their other version K320.My partner liked this keyboard. I will probably get that version for her after she tries this one for a while.
Being Red Silent doesn’t mean it is inaudible, but it is quieterthan most keyboards I tried.
It works ok for games, I do not like the design of most keyboards for games, any keyboard, they are just an evolution of typewriters.
As I grew up playingon keyboards, I don’t think anything beats the left side of the Steelseries Merc(keyboard wise), but they do not produce it anymore.
If you want to get into mechanicalkeyboards but don’t want to build your own yet. Durgod is a wise choice to get a feeling of it.
This is my first mechanical keyboard and it has delivered. I’m really impressed with the build quality. If I’m being picky, the stabilizers on the spacebar and backspace rattle just a bit, but this doesn’t affect the overall typing experience all that much for me. I think the Durgod Taurus is a great entry into the world of mechanical keyboards, especially at the price.
I am by no means a keyboard expert, but I do use a keyboard all day everyday for work. Since I am now working from home 100%, I wanted to use something that felt more premium and had a nice typing experience. I was less concerned with the loudness of the typing experience since I am in my home office with nobody else to disturb except for my wife. With that being said, I opted for the more quiet keys and feel there is still good feedback and clickiness without being too loud. A great keyboard and it is standing up to the daily abuse of typing things for work all day long. You can count on this keyboard lasting a long time and looking nice while you work.
This is my first mechanical keyboard so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Keyboard is very solid and heavy. Removable USB cable is very nice with options for cable management on the bottom of the board. I have Cherry MX Brown switches and they’re buttery smooth and an absolute pleasure to type on. LED backlighting works very well with different options using the optional software. The software also gives options to add custom macros and a profile switcher. I am very happy with my purchase.
Update:
After using this keyboard for a short while a couple of the LEDs stopped working.
Highlight** Black color choice K310 keyboard does not have Doubleshot PBT keycaps. It’s very light and thin, cheap made kecaps. The other colors of K310 are doubleshot PBT but just not the black one. I have to buy my own doubleshot PBT to replace the original one.
I’ve been trying to find a full size mechanical keyboard but not the Razer brand and I haven’t found one. I finally found Durgod is the only brand that makes full size mechanical keyboard other than Razer or cheaper quality brand. I have a Taurus K320 as well and before getting this K310 I have been using the K320. I have to say I thought the K310 would have the same texture of keycaps and weight as the K320 but actually the K310 is lighter in keycaps and less quality (I guess because they only sell $20 more than the K320 but you get a full size). The keycaps on K310 just feel more light and cheaper/ plastic touch but the K320 keyboard feels very sturdy and each keys feels more quality touch when you press on it. I bought both K320 and K310 the same Cherry MX Silent Red switch so they should be the same touch but the K310 has a different keycaps that is also different in appearance as well. The K310 keycaps are more sharp and rectangular, you can tell in the photos I attached of K310, the keycaps’s corners are sharp instead of K320’s keycaps come in rounded corner shape and no dusty feeling/ sound when touching the keycaps. The K310 keycaps give more of a pastel sound when you touch the keycaps. I prefer K320’s keycaps more as it feels more solid than light pastel sound but that’s a personal preference; maybe someone will prefer K310’s keycaps better. I thought they would come in the same keycaps tho K320 and K310 that was one of the main reason why I bought K310 after using K320 because I thought it would just be the extended version of K320 but it’s actually a different build. Overall though it’s still really nice because the K310 works really nicely, the same software as K320: Durgod Zeus Engine. It’s really easy to set your keyboard lighting; you just need to set the color profile and press ok (don’t press apply it won’t work). There are many kinds of lighting style you can choose and they have color gradation that are premade for you already so you can set the color on top of it. Overall K310 is a beautiful keyboard and feels heavy/ sturdy. I just got this for few days so I don’t know how long it will last but we will find out 🙂 Thank you Durgod!
At first I was annoyed at how stiff and how tall the keys felt as I was used to typing on a smaller low profile keyboard, but after about a day I adjusted and I think this feels nicer now. I think it took a day for the keys to break in and not feel so stiff. I like the sound it makes when I type as its not too clicky or loud.
I do wish that there was a light to indicate caps lock on the key itself and dedicated volume buttons instead of having to use fn + f6,f7 but other than that I feel pretty happy about the keyboard.
I use it on a mac so I can’t remap any keys as far as i know.
This keyboard is a bit pricey but I have to say that it’s built like a tank.
The weight of the metal chassis keeps it stuck to the desk, I love that. It drives me crazy when keyboards keep creeping around as I’m hammering along on them.
I went with the Cherry MX brown key switches. They have a moderate tension, no buckling spring feel (bit noisy but quieter than buckling spring clicks) and they clack positively when they bottom. It reminds me of old commercial electric typewriters which is what I learned to type on. This feels like a commercial data terminal keyboard, very very nice.
A bit expensive but feels like it will last for a good long time. The only other nit to pick is that so many keyboards have short cords now. I like a tower on the floor a few feet away and this one just makes it. I would have liked another two feet on it for easier routing. The good news is that I could just get a USB extension cable if I want to stretch it further.
First of all, this is an AMAZING keyboard. I was a bit sceptical at first. Coming from a Razer huntsman elite with the clicky keys. I really wanted silent cherry mx browns. God these keys are so amazing. So so amazing. I bought the backlit one. And white is the only color available and needed. It’s amazing. This keyboard is so sturdy and has 0 bend. It’s the best keyboard I’ve ever used. The durgod software is a little wacky but still works better than razers synapse. So it’s good in my book. This is just such an amazing keyboard and so much cheaper than the expensive Logitech and Razer keyboards.
This is noisier than my MK710 Logitech, so I can’t use it. So much for not having people hate me on con calls! The build is INCREDIBLY solid, and I would imagine it would last for three generations of typing. The lighting is AMAZING. Great keyboard, but they shouldn’t call it silent, or at least add a caveat that it is silent compared to other mechanical keyboards.
This is a very initial review, but I’m super impressed. It’s so much better than my laptop keyboard and the Logitech board I bought for my desktop (not a mechanical keyboard). I touch type and my accuracy is so much better.
Keyboard construction is super solid, keys (Cherry Reds) are amazing, and the cords are well made too. I was surprised it was delivered in it’s retail box (not in a brown shipping box) but there were no problems
Top quality product. The tool used to remove keys is a little flimsy though, otherwise very happy with purchase.
The keyboard sounds and feels great. I bought it as an upgrade to an old Microsoft multi-media membrane keyboard that I’ve been using for the past seven years. The backlighting is bright and stunning, the Cherry Brown switches feel great and give me feedback that the keypress actually registered, and the color scheme isn’t gimmicky like other “gaming” mechanical keyboards.
However, all is not perfect with this keyboard. When plugged into the Dell WD19TB’s USB ports, the keyboard will stop responding if data is being transferred to other USB devices connected to the dock. This includes audio being routed through the dock’s 3.5mm jacks since they utilize USB audio routing from the host PC. When frozen, the keyboard will not send any keystrokes to the PC, but functions such as changing the lighting effects will still work. The only work-around is to unplug the keyboard, wait a few seconds, and the plug it back in again. However, it’ll still freeze after about a minute or so. This issue has affected the host PC too by resulting in a BSOD.
I keep the keyboard plugged directly into an open USB port on the host PC. It’s a bummer, but not a deal breaker. The only inconvenience this causes is it isn’t a one-cable solution I’ve been hoping for, but it still works, and in the end, is still a better keyboard than what I’ve been using previously. Your mileage may vary from mine as well if you use a different brand or type of dock.
I still recommend this keyboard.
This is my first mechanical keyboard, so I was nervous and skeptical to spend $120 on one. Honestly, I get it now. I ordered the red switches. They feel great and are pretty quiet. I am someone who games, but also spends a ton of time typing for work. I don’t think I’ll ever purchase a cheap keyboard again. I might purchase the keyboard with blue switches as well and decide which to keep at my office. This thing is sturdy. Keys feel great. Looks beautiful and appreciate that it’s not flashy, like many gamers prefer. It’s honestly a joy to type on and will never cheap out again on something I spend so much time with.
Quality and feeling is excellent. Weight, stability on my desk, wobbling of the keys its all excellent. You can feel that this keyboard is above the average, no doubt about it. Looks awesome too 🙂 Cables management / adapters are nice too.
Must say that my expectations are also very high for a keyboard of that price range.
I’ve been using it for three weeks as a full time programmer, average 40k keystrokes per day.
Brown keys are noisy ‘enough’, still some of those keys are feeling ‘sandy’ when slowly pressed (some says it normal, some says it is not).
Now, am I impressed ? Nope. It’s not a day and night situation, game changer between other keyboards I’ve tried so far. Yes it’s good, yes the sounds is awesome, yes it’s a big brand, the layout is standard, it’s all excellent but nothing outstanding I’ve found. Maybe i’m wrong; no ego there. So for the 175$ paid, I do believe that there is many more alternatives to try out; including this one since it’s an awesome mech keyboard.
Feels pretty good, the brown switch is very smooth for the first time use
This is my first keyboard with cherry red switches. My favorite switch before this were cherry browns. But after using this for about a month now, I can definitely say that reds are the way to go! Sure, they don’t have that somewhat tactile feel when activating the switch. But what you get instead is a buttery smooth travel that makes it feel like you’re typing on air. The overall quality of this keyboard is superb! Keycaps feel super premium, and the chassis does not flex. The only downside is the customization software – the Zeus Engine. Its super complicated to understand and takes a while to mess with in order for it to work. So I just don’t use it. Still a fantastic keyboard though.
Product quality is great! Only used for a couple days (work + gaming), but so far it’s been great.
Its built like a tank and the mechanical keys are perfect.
I bought this Durgod K310 Silent Reds so my roommates won’t kill me in my sleep.
Pros:
-Premium Build Quality
-Silent Reds switches all 104 keys are quieter than a membrane keyboard
-Ideal for the Office/Workplace and those who are nocturnal
Cons:
-Expensive
Highly recommended , very solid build. I choose the brown switch, perfect for everyday use.
One thing to improve, it is the Durgod software, not so user friendly.
Not bad for a semi budget keyboard. The keys are not as crisp as das keyboard or razer. The space bar takes more force to activate than I am used to.
Overall it’s pretty good. One of the few backlit mechanical keyboards that isn’t in crazy RGB colors. I am not going to return it, but I probably wouldn’t order another one.
You see, I currently use a Happy Hacking Keyboard, and have been using one for 1.5 yrs. It’s kinda limited, and hotkeys require a lot of dexterity and whatnot. I was on the search for larger keyboard with a navigational panel, and since I’m a student, I figured the numpad would also be helpful.
It arrived quickly in the middle of the pandemic (2 days!), and upon opening the box, I could immediately tell this was a nice keyboard. This was my first experience with Cherry MX Silent Red switches and…man…much quieter than the topre keys of the HHKB. I can corroborate that the K310 is built well and functions nicely.
If I had kept it, I would have had one gripe: the key remapping software is…annoying. I just wanted to remap the caps lock to left ctrl and vice versa, since I’ve grown accustomed to that on my HHKB, and think it’s just easier on the hands. Again, it worked. But, the problem was alt-tabbing didn’t work well. Usually, you can press the combo, release the tab, and the windows will just sit there. And you can press tab to cycle through window by window. But with the Zeus Engine, it just kept cycling like I was holding down tab. Pressing shift stopped it…but that shouldn’t be a problem to begin with.
Still though, I’m spoiled by the size of the HHKB and I couldn’t handle a full size keyboard on my desk, as awesome as the K310 is. And after the hassle with the Zeus Engine software, I don’t think I’ll get a K320 either.
Got the Cherry Red switch keyboard primarily for coding. This is a solid keyboard. Typing is a joy using this keyboard. I get excellent typing speed. Keycap feels very nice on hand. USB cable is nicely designed. Typing sound and feel are both very satisfying. Linear switch makes the typing sound office friendly. Good stabilizer on wider keys. Keyboard cover is nice to have to avoid dust settling in. It also two step height adjustment with good grip. Highly recommended, at least for typing (coding in my case).
I bought this for general typing and it is more than I had hoped for. The keyboard’s construction is very solid. The frame is very rigid and heavy and the key caps seem to be great quality. I’m no expert in keyboard switches but I opted for Cherry Browns and got the tactile feel I wanted, without the excessive click-clack that would annoy the rest of the office. It all came exactly as advertised and I highly recommend this keyboard if you’re in the market for one.
Other reviews have done a better job than I can in describing the particulars .. Jeff P’s review was especially helpful (although, I don’t plan on replicating his rebuild).
Everything that I was looking for.
The spacebar when pressed in exactly the right way can scrape the case when being pressed but this never happened to me with normal typing. There are some rough parts on the bottom side of most keycap edges but unless you spend lots of time pulling off the keycaps and looking at them I don’t think it’s a real issue and if that’s all I can complain about with this board then I think you are getting a great product.
This was my first experience with the Cherry MX Silent Red switches and while they are not my favorite switch they do exactly what I wanted for keeping the noise down in the office. They are at the volume level of the cheap membrane boards that most offices supply, which is a testament to the good stabilizers on this board.
The keyboard has outstanding build quality. It feels like it could survive the apocalypse. The Keys are great, the deck is solid and the key switches are outstanding. I got the CherryMX Red Silents which have a little mush to them which can be annoying for some typers, but I got used to them pretty quick. This thing is a amazing. especially compared to my OEM keyboard which came with a Dell PC I bough nearly 7 years ago.
Love everything about this keyboard. Got the cherry silent red switches. Quiet, responsive, and looks great too.
EDIT:
Dropping my review of the keyboard from 5 stars to 4 because the software for it is garbage. I downloaded and installed the “Zeus Engine” which is their proprietary customization software and immediately it was clear that this wasn’t where the budget for the keyboard went. When I initially booted it up, it said that the keyboard had a firmware/software update available, which I then proceeded to install. It requested that I make sure the keyboard stay plugged in while the update ran, which I did. Once completed the keyboard stopped functioning entirely and I had to go and grab my old keyboard to use the computer. After messing with it for awhile, I found that basically, the Zeus software itself was what was preventing the keyboard from working. While all this was going on I noticed that the software would prompt for UAC Administrator permissions for every single button I clicked within the software, which struck me as odd, like it was launching a different program for each menu button or something. Additionally, the English translation in the software is poor at best, but it’s hard to fault them for this as this is a very common issue with Chinese made software and tech people aren’t necessarily skilled in multiple languages. I uninstalled it and the keyboard works just like before. I still highly recommend the keyboard, as the quality really is excellent, but I would avoid the software like the plague.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
The keyboard feels great to type on and has a subtle and professional look to it. I was initially concerned about the fact that it’s a Chinese brand (especially since it was between this and the DasKeyboard Model S) but I’m entirely pleased with the feel, sound, look, and quality of the board. I haven’t used it for gaming at all, but it feels great to type on at the office and isn’t too loud for the work environment. (I have the MX brown variant)
Definitely a great keyboard, especially if you like the feel of mechanical, but want something that doesn’t look or feel “Gamer-y”
Great keyboard, but no iOS support so I cant use it to its full potential.
Spending 120$ on a keyboard is pretty ridiculous but I’m totally glad I did. The K310 has a super clean look and feel. The brown switches are awesome in that they are not crazy loud along with the click response from each keypress. Big fan, don’t be a pussy, buy it!!!
Very well made and priced for an intro mechanical keyboard! The cherry silver switches are a little to soft to the touch for my taste, but I knew that going in! Awesome and well priced keyboard that’ll do you well!
This is the best keyboard I have ever used. Solid build quality, beautiful switches and the keycaps are very comfortable to type on. My typing speed increased noticeably just by changing from the $14 emergency keyboard I bought from Officeworks after the one that came with my PC died. I would have been sceptical that simply changing to a different keyboard would have just a dramatic effect, but wow. If you’re looking for a keyboard that has the look and feel of the no-nonsense keyboards of the 20th century, but with modern lines and switches, this is definitely it.
The ONLY thing I can find that is perhaps less than desirable is the slight metallic thunk when the keys bottom out on the steel baseplate, but this is hardly a deal breaker and is only really noticeable when typing in complete silence. Considering how the keys sound otherwise, it’s a non-issue.
In all honesty, if you asked me for a wishlist for my perfect keyboard, this model would tick every box.
Sorry to waffle on so much, but I’m typing this review on this keyboard and its so nice I don’t want to stop.
Excellent keyboard. Love the tactile feel and large keys on keyboard. Very happy with purchase!
I really like Durgod keyboards. They don’t have a lot of pointless frills which I appreciate and they’re well made. This is the second durgod keyboard I’ve bought because I like mechanical keyboards with a standard layout that just work.
so first, lets get the bad out of the way….
1) the switches. some people may love cherry mx switches… but i personally dont. there is too much wobble in the stem, which is just a side effect of the design.
2) the software leaves a lot to be desired. it is GOOD… it does what it says it can do (macros, key remapping, speed, etc) but it has little annoyances that they are still working out the bugs on (it states pretty clearly that its beta software in the app). it has to stay open and running for anything to work 100% as far as macros or key remapping. but, its just annoyances… it all works.
thats pretty much it for the bad. the good:
1) this board is SOLID. i disassembled mine (yes, i know i voided warranty – but more on that later) and the steel plate the switches are mounted to is THICK and turned up on the edges for even more rigidity.
2) the gunmetal color and white are both nice touches. they look good.
3) the keycaps are pretty impressive. they are pbt doubleshot and have a soft almost velveety feel to them. they are definitely quality caps. every legend is perfect… alignment is perfect… just an amazing set of keycaps.
4) the insides are almost as nice as the outside. there was a lot of care put into this board, and its obvious from the internals.
5) smart placement on the indicator lights. ive had lots of boards that throw the indicators just a few mm above the num lock row. if you are sitting over the board, you can see them…. but lean back in your seat a little, and they are impossible to see. not this board! they are smartly placed inline with the top row, so they are visible from any angle, and are noticeable but not bright so they arent distracting. really smart layout.
5) detachable usb-c cable. and get this… they groove the usb-c area to allow you to plug the thing in without even looking (if you use their cable that is). but, the grooves arent in the way, so any cable will work just fine. thats a smart idea and nice touch. the little things really make an impact.
6) they include BOTH a usb-c to usb-c cable, and a usb-c to usb-a cable, so no matter what… as long as you have an open usb port, you can use it. boards that cost twice this much barely include 1 of the options.
7) the stabilizers – WOW. when i opened this board up to start working, i expected to find cheap stabilizers. i was surprised to find pre-modded (clipped) cherry stabilizers that were well lubed. this makes ALL the difference when typing. as a result, there is ZERO rattle on this board. just nice solid clicks.
i was given one of these boards, and loved it so much (which is rare, because as i said – i hate cherry switches) that i bought a second one. when i did, i decided to open up the one that was given to me, and desolder every switch in there. i replaced them with Novelkeys + Kailh Box Heavy Burnt Orange switches, and as soon as i finished (which was no quick task) the difference was night and day. this is my new favorite board… i absolutely love it now. the heavy orange switches give this thing a solid thunk when typing, and just enough resistance and tactility that its absolutely perfection. (DURGOD: IF YOU READ THIS – PLEASE CONSIDER KAILH BOX SWITCHES IN THE FUTURE!)
This is an amazing board, at an amazing price. if you like cherry switches, this keyboard is a no brainer – it is perfection. but even if you dont… its absolutely worth the time consider buying this as to use as a kit and replace the switches with something you like. the switches are all plate mounted, and easy to do with a few hours and $40-80 worth of switches. (warning: not recommended for someone new to soldering or building your own keyboard)
the end result on this board is something i would have gladly paid hundreds for. but i did it for less than $150, and a few hours time. well worth it.
Kinda sad it’s not wireless, but it’s a really nice keyboard
I got mine with the silent cherrys. This is a great keyboard, its sturdy, its full sized, it types great, it sounds great and they keycaps are surprisingly nice.
Its satisfying weight and gray, professional demeanor embodies the grace and flowing elegance of a well-written essay. With the crisp staccato of its keystrokes, the precision of its action, a lack of gauche LED lighting, and minimalist, subdued appearance, it finds its calling distilling the richness of the Human Experience into written language. Effortless, communicative, tactile, it is a rare, high-tech device of the smartphone age built with the faithful, unassuming sensibilities of a classic Smith Corona.
White keyboard with cherry mx blue switches. Never going back to anything else.
I don’t game, but I really enjoy the feel of a nice keyboard for typing. I am in law school and will spend many hours typing away. Before I got this keyboard I had the Vortexgear Race 3. Which is an excellent keyboard but doesn’t have the number pad. Although this isn’t as compact it is a great alternative for a solid price. The cherry blues aren’t as loud as I am used to but the response is great. I recommend for anyone on a budget(sounds weird to say when it’s a $100+ keyboard).
The keyboard is build like a tank, feels heavy and strong, zero flex. The plastics used are good quality and had no issues as of yet. Typing feels and sounds great with the cherry mx browns. Overall feels quality and definitely worth the price, first board I’ve got from durgod but would look towards durgod again in the future. No complaint’s here, very pleased.
This board is heavy, you can feel that metal plate in there by the heft of this beauty and its adds such a solid base for the keys to resonate on.
The Dark/Grey color scheme i decided on just looks so classic yet modern, the style is simple elegance and i really like it.
The function keys are much appreciated and having them clearly defined along the edge F1 – F7 keys means you cant miss them, there is also a MR (macro record) function on the F12 that i have not played with yet, but considering the perfect function of all else i dont doubt its functionality for those that require it.
I personally would have liked a Volume wheel over the function keys, but just for this specific command, as the hotkeys is functional for volume and works fine, having a dedicated wheel for volume will be missed from my last keyboard.
I should say that i picked this up after returning a Corsair keyboard which many seem to love, but for the money spent it just felt flimsy and cheap, didnt use Double shot PBT, and required a hefty piece of software to take full advantage of.
So glad i gave the DURGOD a shot, very happy customer here !
