The DMDCL1X1 is a heavy-duty double desk mount that holds one computer screen and one laptop. This model is part of our DMDC range which is made with aluminum and steel and is covered with a black electrostatic finish. Part of our premium range, these desk mounts offer a huge wide of maneuverability.
Unique to the DMDC models, this range features gas-powered arms that are attached directly to the base (instead of a pole) which allows the arms to have the maximum range of movement possible. The arms can move vertically on-the-fly; simply hold the screen or laptop shelf and smoothly glide it to the position you need it in, then release. It’s that simple! This model has two arms with three joints that can swivel 180°, allowing both screens to be articulated in different positions.
This screen arm is fully height adjustable, has swivel and tilt ability, and can rotate the screen from horizontal to vertical. It comes with an extra large-sized Duronic clamp that will fit desks between 5mm – 105mm depth, and the arm can convert to be installed onto a desk via a hole using a grommet (available separately). As well as allowing you to achieve an ergonomic set up for your workspace, this monitor stand will elevate the screens off of the desk surface, which will free up space that you can utilize for other equipment and accessories.
Easy Assembly
Setting this screen mount up on your desk couldn’t be simpler to do. The clamp slides onto the back of the desk and is tightened with the bolt until it stands securely. Then the arm can be adjusted by using the locking collar on the pole to secure it in the optimal position. Fixing a screen onto the stand is a simple procedure because the heads all accept the VESA 75/100 standard which makes them suitable for all PC monitors and the majority of TV screens too. Installation is quick and the only tools you will need is a Phillips screwdriver and an Allen key (provided).

WHY USE A DESK MOUNT?
Ergonomic care has become more of a focus over recent years due to the fast-evolving workforce; with more and more technology being introduced in the workplace, physical activity has consequently declined and it is affecting more people’s health than ever before. Brilliant product, wish I’d bought earlier for my home desk. I’m glad I’d read the reviews as it does take a bit of adapting to get it to be as manoeuvrable as you want. However once you understand the mechanics, which is easy, it is really really adaptable. I use it to work both sitting and standing. To move to standing is easy and at times I do this during video calls if I want to move position. I’d also really pleased I bought the higher spec, without the gas powered arms this wouldn’t be possible. The cables also tidy away really nicely to avoid hanging cables or problems moving the arms about. Love it.
This is an excellent and beautiful Desk Mount. I’m currently using it at home to hold a 14″ laptop and a 15.6″ portable monitor, both of which are very light weight. Not only does it do all that it says, it offers great value for money. My desk is now uncluttered, while enjoying better ergonomics than the previous laptop stands I was using.
After setting up this desk mount, you only need to adjust the tension screw for each arm, to match the weight of the device it’s carrying. Then you are good to go.
Se monta muy fcil y he podido ajustar a la altura y direccin en la que quera cada cosa. Es cierto que si quieres firmeza tienes que apretar los tornillos por lo que no queda movimiento dinmico, yo he dejado uno de los codos que se puede mover para separar monitor de pc en el caso de que necesite acceder algo y esta lo suficientemente duro para que no se mueva pero los justo para con esfuerzo poder moverlo yo. EL movimiento en vertical si que tiene que fijarse bien, pero es lo normal incluso en rangos de precio superiores a este. Si quieres ese movimiento ms dinmico que sujete todo bien pero que puedes estar cambiando la posicin constantemente tienes que irte ya a los alta gama.
Como contra decir que me gustara que la bandeja del porttil pudiera quedar ms en horizontal, esta demasiado vertical y parece que vaya a caer, pero es una mera sensacin, la realidad es que lo sujete perfectamente as que no os preocupis aunque os de esa misma sensacin al principio.
Como mejora, yo le he aadido unos tacos en el tope de la bandeja del porttil, tiene almohadillas en la base, pero no en la parte que hace contacto con el borde del PC, el tope para que no resbale. Pero bueno, no es nada que no se pueda arreglar con un taco adhesivo de estos de las sillas (5 un pack de 50 jeje)

Para mover de altura continuamente no te sirve ya que tienes que coger la pieza estilo “Ikea” y mover el tornillo, pero una vez que lo colocas a la altura deseada y se queda all solo puedes mover en profundidad con facilidad. Yo eleg este modelo para no gastar en otro monitor ya que le puse el porttil, todo ok.

I bought this dual stand for my COVID-19 work from home setup. I spent quite some time looking at different products across Amazon. I’m extremely happy with this purchase so I decided to write my first Amazon review to help others who are in a similar situation.
I didn’t want to spend too much money on monitor arms since I’m not sure for how long my WFH setup will last. Some monitor arms seem to be more flexible and probably easier to assemble but given that the set up is a one time cost and nobody else is sitting at my desk I thought I go for this arm assuming it will do the job.
My desk is at a wall so I have only limited space yet the right arm holds my 27″ display nicely while the left arm carries my 15″ Mac Book.
The arms come with all the screws and bolts you need. You just need your own Phillips screwdriver.
I’ve installed this on my desk and use it sitting and standing, easy to move the laptop and monitor up and down. I like how you have the screw for the end of the brackets that fix it in position on the pole and a stopper bit to ensure it doesn’t slide out of place/drop if you loosen the screw bracket screw.
I’ve had it since 30th March 2020. I don’t move it up and down that often, as I stand more.
But I wouldn’t recommend like most things constantly moving it around without checking screws now and then.

Facilit di montaggio estrema, in dieci minuti si gi messo via il giravite. I braccetti regolabili vanno stretti con la chiave esagonale (inclusa) dopo averli sistemati, per maggiore stabilit. Molto comodo il cave management con occhielli gi montati sulla struttura, pi strappetti in velcro e ulteriori passacavi da poter montare. Personalmente ho fatto passare i cavetti a zig-zag nei passaggi offerti dai braccetti articolanti, per diminuire ancora di pi i cavi esposti. Oltre i 3-4kg potrebbe sbilanciarsi direttamente verso il lato dove messo il carico, ma niente di eccezionale. importante avere una buona scrivania che supporti il peso. Per evitare segnacci sul piano di appoggio incluso un adesivo morbido da aggiungere alla morsetta di aggancio regolabile. Sono fornite molte viti di diverso calibro e lunghezza per poter montare ogni TV supportato sui supporti. I supporti stessi possono ruotare a 360 e basculare di +/-15 in alto e in basso
Ich benutze beide Schwenkarme. Allerdings anders als vorgesehen.
Ein Schwenkarm ist der Trger fr meine recht groe und “schwere” Tastatur, die ich nun zu mir hin und auch wieder weg schwenken kann wenn ich im Fernsehsessel sitze. Der Schwenkarm ist dermassen stabil das ich ohne “rumgewackel” praktisch in der Luft tippen kann und die Tastatur verliert nicht ihre Position.
Auf dem anderen Schwenkarm habe ich einen stabilen Kunstoffkopf befestigt der als Parkmglichkeit fr meine Ocolus Quest dient. Auch diesen kann ich natrlich schwenken und so habe ich immer recht schnell “Ordnung” schaffen und die Sachen sind ordentlich verstaut.
Pur zu dem Artikel:
Sehr stabil und wertig. Leicht zu schwenken und hlt dann auch zuverlssig seine Position. Gilt fr beide Schwenkarme.
Nachteil
Die Befestigungsklammer knnte etwas flexibler beim Anbringen sein. Wenn man einen Tisch hat welcher z.B. eine schmale umlaufende Kante hat muss man sich etwas einfallen lassen um diese auszugleichen.
Vale il prezzo! Facile da montare, stabile e veramente ben rifinito. Sia il portatile sia il monitor sono finalmente comodi ed facilmente gestibile il loro corretto posizionamento.

Small downside, it would be good if the arms could drop down a touch lower, it works great for monitor height, but the laptop is too high, I have to keep my monitor a few cm higher than I would like to match the lowest height the laptop can achieve. Il prodotto oltre che essere esteticamente migliore rispetto ai modelli con piantone centrale, robusto, di facile montaggio e semplice da regolare con la brugola in dotazione. Senza stringere eccessivamente i dadi si regola poi a piacimento.

Le produit est solide et supporte bien les ordinateurs. Le rglage est trs souple et efficace. Un petit bmol : une fois plac sur son support, l’cran de l’ordinateur portable se retrouve relativement haut au-dessous du bureau. J’ai pu trouv un palliatif en vissant le support de portable dans les trous de vis infrieurs, mais la plaque m’empche maintenant de fermer l’cran de mon pc portable. Bref, c’est parfait si votre but est de hausser vos crans 50 cm au-dessus de votre bureau ou pour utiliser en tant debout. Mais pour une utilisation sur un bureau en tant assis, il faut se mfier.

Un cran sur pied, l’autre sur un bras et l’autre bras pour le Macbook. Rsultat tout est la mme hauteur, facilitant le passage du regard et de la souris d’un cran l’autre. Cela fait de la place sur le bureau. Passage de cbles impeccable.
Montage simple, l’ensemble est solide et bien conu. Rapport qualit prix excellent !
Decent product – description not misleading. No issues when unboxing. All parts present and well packaged. Assembly was straightforward. The laptop tray/holder was made of painted black metal (not clear plastic as photo suggests). The laptop holder part can be assigned to either the left or right arm or not used at all (if using the arms to hold two ordinary flat monitors). The arms can be tightened / loosened for heavier/lighter loads.
This is exactly what I needed for my home set-up. When I am working on my work laptop I can bring put the laptop plate from behind the monitot and position laptop and monitornside by side When I am using my pc I can simply bring the plate back behind the monitor and use PC as normal. The mounting post feels very solid even with laptop and heavy monitor and is easy enough to adjust and place however you wany your devices to be. Obviously some kind of knob or locking mechanism for adjusting would be nice but this is relatively cheap kit so I rather have simple allen key which simply works than some mechanism that will break after 2 uses.

Au final j’ai mis 2 crans de bureau et cela galement fonctionne parfaitement.
Hab meinen Laptop und einen Monitor montiert, aber ein Freund hat auch 2 Monitore ohne Probleme drauf bekommen (anstelle der Laptop Halterung).
Ist einfach zu montieren, lsst sich super auf das Gewicht einstellen und man kann die Positionen absolut frei whlen.
Unter dem Monitor und Laptop ist jetzt wieder Platz, der genutzt werden kann.
Wollte mir schon einen greren Monitor zulegen, aber da man ihn jetzt schn ranholen kann, hab ich mir das Geld gespart.

Pros: Decent price, good amount of positioning, flexibility if I ever replace laptop screen with dedicated 2nd monitor.
Cons: Pole not 100% sturdy in desk clamp,laptop arm leans with only a 15″ laptop in, cable management clips too fragile and don’t hold.

Als erstes fand ich die Halterung recht teuer. Erst recht weil ich dachte die Arme wren aus plastic. Als ich die Halterung bekam war ich positiv berrascht. Das komplette Gestell ist aus robustem Metall.
die Installation ist Kinderleicht und die monitore halten super. Ich kann ohne schlechtem gewissen den Halter empfehlen!
I am 185 cm tall and needed to set up my desktop monitor at a good height so I don’t slouch and hurt my neck.
I work 10-12 hours on a given day from home and good posture is key.
I use the 25″ LG ultra wide monitor ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BV1XB2K ) which until now was mounted on its own stand and placed over a stack of books for the right height. Neither tidy, nor very adjustable.
So, I decided to invest in this as I want to work from home more often.
I got this fairly quick after ordering and everything needed to set it up was in the box.
I like the black colour and it goes well with my black table.
More importantly, setting things up probably took me 15-20 mins.
I don’t use the laptop tray so much but sometimes I use just the monitor using HDMI with my laptop and it works really well. There are enough cable ties and clips to keep the desk tidy .
Overall, I am impressed with the product. Only thing that can improve is price.
Fairly simple to assemble instruction could be better option to buy more accesories not provided eg. an extra arm or a second rest for laptop if required

Produit trs bon et solide, j’ai install un cran de 27 pouces et un ordi portable de 15pouces sans problmes.
Hubo problemas con la aduana y tardaron unos cuantos das ms en entregarlo. Sobre el producto, me encanta. Robusto y fuerte. Tiene la posibilidad de, si en un futuro cambias el porttil por una torre, convertir el soporte del porttil en otra de pantalla y as tener dos pantallas.

Surprisingly easy to assemble and more sturdy than I thought – this was my first monitor stand and with quite a large monitor and old, heavy laptop, I was worried the stand would wobble, but very sturdy.
Assembly was straight forward, although I struggled a bit trying to work out how to adjust the tension in the arms.
Attenzione: inizialmente non rimangono nella posizione che gli si d perch hanno bisogno di avere lo schermo ed il laptop attaccati (reagiscono al peso che gli viene caricato sopra).
Attenzione nr. 2: Ho una scrivania mobile da computer su cui ho montato questo braccio, ma ho dovuto rimuovere una sbarra posteriore perch la pinza ovviamente bella grossa e non riusciva a passare sotto la sbarra metallica. L’ho dovuta rimontare facendola passare all’interno della pinza. Valutate com’ fatta la vostra scrivania, il gancio ha bisogno di almeno 10cm in profondit per poggiare bene!!
Lo uso con un monitor 24 pollici e funziona egregiamente.
Unico difetto: Il montaggio complesso se fatto da soli, in coppia sarebbe meglio!
Comprato per supportare un monitor 24″ e un laptop, ma pu anche tenere due monitor, smontando il supporto.
Scatola giustamente pesante e di dimensioni non eccessive, non particolarmente imbottita, ma l’oggetto cos solido che non rischia di rompersi. Arrivato in tempi brevissimi, molto prima del previsto.
Molto bello e curato nei dettagli (viterie di varie misure per i monitor, clip e velcro per i cavi, ecc.), veramente solido anche negli snodi, potrei quasi “appendermi”.
Montaggio semplicissimo, solo un appunto, forse dovrebbe esserci anche una protezione per il morsetto in basso (io ho messo un pezzetto di cartone a protezione). Nella parte alta gi presente un tappetino in neoprene.
L’unico problema che mi ha dato dovuto a come fatta la mia scrivania, dove un pannello verticale rende impossibile l’appoggio completo del morsetto. Forse un tipo di vite diverso, tipo quello delle classiche morse potrebbe aiutare durante il fissaggio (io ho dovuto smontare il piano per poterlo avvitare).
Sicuramente consigliato, un ottimo prodotto ad un buon prezzo. I miei complimenti.

Tengo un porttil MSI gaming bastante grande y lo sujeta sin ningn problema.Aunque pienso que le falta algn tipo de anclaje al porttil extra.La pantalla de 21″ que hay en el otro lado tambien est muy bien sujeta.Muy contento con la compra.
Easy to assemble, and seems very sturdy. Unfortunately, the included M4 bolts to go into my monitor were way too long – you get some short ones, and some longer ones to be used with rubber spacers, and neither did the trick. In the end, I had to hacksaw down the existing bolts so that the VESA mounting plate fit tight to the monitor.
Your mileage may vary – it’s otherwise great value. Your local hardware store will have the requisite M4 bolts, or the correct lenght might have been included with the monitor itself.
Excellent produit ! m’a chang la vie au bureau, soulage les cervicales car cran hauteur des yeux. Manipulable, je peux de manire trs rapide positionner mon ordinateur portable ainsi que mon deuxime cran comme je le souhaite. Dernier avantage, beaucoup de place gagn sur le bureau !
I spoke to Duronic directly to get help on which mount to buy. They were helpful and guided me to the DM65L but to their credit they also showed me cheaper models which were more suitable for an office setting rather than a home. The mount arrived less than 24 hours later and was assembled within 15 minutes. It’s a fantastic bit of kit, well built, looks great and capable of supporting my oversized 29inch computer screen. It has created useable space on my desk now so I’m very happy with the purchase.
Overall a good sturdy product that does what it says. There are two clips supplied to hold the laptop in place. They are not of the same quality, flimsy plastic. However unless you’re trying to angle your laptop in the near vertical plane then you probably wont need them. That said, they don’t fasten well, as soon as you open or adjust them, they fall off. Needs a better mechanical fit in my opinion.
Il montaggio a prova di incapace come il sottoscritto, fidatevi se ci sono riuscito io in mezz’ora, significa che un normo capace ci impiegher 10 minuti al massimo. In ogni caso appena si apre la confezione ci si rende subito conto della robustezza dei materiali e, una volta montato, della solidit di tutte le varie parti, che danno una sensazione di stabilit, senza paura che qualcosa possa spezzarsi o cadere.
Nella confezione trovate tutto il necessario, tranne il cacciavite a stella, ma chi che in casa non ha gi un cacciavite a stella? Ci sono anche dei piccoli cilindri in plastica che servono da distanziatori tra l’attacco vesa del Duronic e del monitor, vi consiglio di usarli in comunione delle viti pi lunghe che vengono fornite, in questo modo siete sicuri di non bucare il vostro monitor.
Io per motivi di spazio non ho montato il sostegno del laptop, ma ho messo il monitor (24 pollici) ad un’altezza tale da poter mettere sotto il laptop e recuperare spazio ai lati della mia piccola scrivania, in ogni caso possibile comprare altri bracci separatamente, per coloro che volessero avere una configurazione anche a due monitor pi laptop o 3 monitor, perch grazie alla robustezza del prodotto non ci sono problemi di peso, l’importante che abbiate un tavolo sufficientemente resistente.
In definitiva mi ritengo molto soddisfatto del risultato finale, e consiglio a tutti questo prodotto.
I wanted something to help make more desk space and this did just that. However, though the arms are somewhat adjustable, there are restrictions and positions for a screen and laptop are few. Nethertheless it’s a great robust product and I am please with the purchase. Desk working is much more comfortable with screens being at their preferred height. Price is bit higher than would like but it feels like a product that will last.

J’ai install un ecran 27″ et pc portable de 15″, ca ne bouge pas d’un poil.
Grce aux bras articuls, on peut parfaitement positionner les crans comme on le souhaite, les repositionner instantanment en fonction des besoins.
Bref, aprs 2 semaines d’utilisation, je suis trs satisfait.

Product is really well manufactured using good quality components. I was a little apprehensive before purchasing as this a reasonably price product and thought the quality and durability may not meet my expectation. I am extremely happy with this stand and have it setup with a 27″ monitor and laptop side by side. The arms pivot point provide a good range of motion to allow you to position the screen and laptop where you want them. You can adjust the tightness of the hinges and once set they are solid so there is no droop or sag. Really solid and reliable unit which will perform significantly more expensive units.
Cela ne fait que quelques semaines que je l’utilise (je ferais voluer mon commentaire si ncessaire), et je suis totalement conquis par le systme. Simple monter, il me permet d’utiliser un ordi fixe et portable en mme temps. L’amplitude des mouvements autoriss est trs importante, et me permet de bosser dans un espace assez rduit, avec une grande stabilit. La conception l’air trs solide, les mouvements sont souples et il est possible d’augmenter ou de rduire la rsistance des bras.

It is almost impossible to set up any computer equipment in a comfortable way for work or leisure. Not to mention two so much different items – a laptop and a monitor together.
This is where the brilliant solution from Duronic finds its purpose. Two independent arms, with multiple ways to adjust positions of both the stand for the laptop, and the display monitor. Really solid, and very flexible in finding the right setup. No more slouching over the laptop. Great, comfortable stuff.
I had another desk mount system before this one. My problems were that it didn’t allow me to set my monitor at the right height and needed a lot of fiddling whenever I wanted to do any repositioning of the screen and the laptop support. Then I saw the Duronic desk mount and due to my frustrations with the other stand, ordered this. I am now so glad I did! This provides all the adjustability I could ever need for both the monitor and the laptop. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if, like me you need to reposition your equipment on a regular basis, even to allow for cleaning your desk! I have a 32″ monitor and an Apple MacBook Pro mounted on mine.

It’s not the most beatific accessory but it is very useful if you want to have a clear desk or have a laptop with bottom vents. Would recommend.
Very happy with this stand. I am using it on a 1.5-2cm thick table and the grip is perfect. The height of the main bar is good and it has plenty of cable ties etc to tidy up and finish with a cable free look.
I am loving the movement options of the 2 screen holders.

Se sujeta firmemente y me da la flexibilidad que necesito. Viene desmontado, pero es muy facil de montar, y asi lo pones a tu gusto , portatil a la izquierda a laderecha, que brazo quieres mas alto o bajo. Yo lo tengo con un portatil de 17” y un monitor de 22” y se siente robusto.
Resistente y fcil de montar, lo que deberan de mejorar son las instrucciones para endurecer o ablandar la resistencia del brazo. Por todo lo dems perfecto. Para mi mesa la primera parte del brazo no ha sido necesario montarlo, el prximo mes comprar otro, adems la entrega una semana antes de lo que me dijeron, algo que tiene que aprender los de tourline express… de todo menos express

The stand came very well packed, delivered really quickly and the arm itself seems very sturdy and stable. Only couple of minor negative things I have to say is that the tray has only four tiny antislip mats, it would make a huge difference if there there were some of these mats in the middle of the tray and on the tray hooks so I wouldnt have to go buying them separately from a hardware store. I feel that my new pumpered expensive Macbook pro will get scratched on it. The quality is good for the price however and would recommend it! Also the seller was very accomodating, I wanted to change my order to add the extra tray after I had placed the order and they were very helpful ! Thank you for that!
Quality product. I spent a long time looking at “fancier” looking mounts but went for this and im absolutely delighted. Easy easy set-up.
apart from the fact that duronic still charges you 6 pounds for transport, even tho this is a 35 pounds product the system seems to work pretty good. I used it with my 15inch rmbp and a 25inch screen. Unfortunately the laptop side is not that heavy so you get a little bit of tilt towards the monitor side. Luckily you can rotate the monitor and with a slight rotation you can level them. All-together, the product looks solid, only downside is the ridiculous charge for the shipping, witch by the way its not even 2nd day delivery.

Auch Die Ablageflche fr den Laptop (17 Zoll, eher recht schweres Gert) hat mich positiv berrascht. Eine zeitlang hatte ich ein mulmiges Gefhl, ob sich das wirklich nicht drehen wird und der Laptop vielleicht herunter fllt. Hat aber alles super gehalten.
Fr mich eine tolle Halterung, die mir einen tollen Platz- und Komfortgewinn auf meinem Schreibtisch gegeben hat.

I have a heavy Alienware laptop and a 24″ iiyama screen and it holds them very easily.
you can move the arms up and down too, so you can simulate a standing desk too by moving the arms to the top of the pole.
This is the most satisfied i’ve been with anything I’ve bought through amazon.

Stavo cercando un supporto per il mio computer portatile al fine di avere una miglior postura durante le ore di studio. Dopo vari paragoni ho acquistato il supporto in oggetto della Duronic e sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto: il sostegno si attacca perfettamente alla mia scrivania IKEA e da proprio l’impressione di essere solido e duraturo. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia creare un setup ergonomico per la propria scrivania e organizzare gli spazi di lavoro.

Very impressed with the Monitor + Laptop stand. Purchased for two reasons – first to help improve my posture (previously I was hunching over my desk and getting regular pain); Secondly, I wanted more flexibility with the layout of my home office. On both points it is a winner and I now have loads of desk space available now the old monitor stand is gone. I’m able to push the keyboard further back on the desk to further improve my arm positions/reduce pressure on wrists and elbows.
Setup was very quick and easy. I’m able to adjust the monitor and laptop position/tilt very easily as I feel. I spent ages removing all cables from my desk and re-cabling it all to get it as neat as possible – too many USB devices/cables for my own good, plus a touch of OCD!
The only negative is that the hex key supplied was not very good as it was slipping when trying to tighten the hex bolts so I couldn’t get the arms firmly locked into place to take their own weight – I simply used my own hex key set which is made from stronger metal and gripped perfectly – despite this it is still a 5 star product and I would highly recommend

Really pleased with the stand. Based on reviews for similar products, my main concern was whether the stand would be solid. I have a pretty heavy monitor and a laptop on the unit and there no issues at all, very sturdy even when knock the table.
Pretty easy to install and happy with the adjustment settings also for positioning both monitor and laptop.
Although can’t compare to 100 units, overall great value for money
Solid but a bit faffy to put together. Spacers and bolts provided for VESA mounting didn’t fit my monitor – would have been nice to have had a wider range of lengths – everything was either too short or way too long. Quick trip to get some washers got it sorted in the end.

This item was exactly as described and I am delighted with it. It has made working with both monitor and laptop much easier and now both are in the correct position, ergonomically, for me.
The only development point I would mention is that it would be easier if the brackets for both arms had a wing nut or similar type fitting to enable height adjustment to be a little easier.

This has cleared up much needed space on my desk, and allowed me to have essentially three monitors – my laptop to the left, main screen in the middle and my secondary screen (still on the desk) to the right.
The laptop tray holds my laptop safely and the screen is also now at the perfect viewing height.
I can also reach all the USB ports etc on the laptop.
In conjunction with a USB docking station: Anker USB 3.0 Dual Display Docking Station with DVI/HDMI of up to 2048 x 1152, Audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and 6 USB ports (2 USB 3.0 + 4 USB 2.0) for Windows (19V / 2A Power Adapter included) , I simply connect the Anker to my laptop via 1 usb cable and I’m ready to work over 3 screens. My printer, wireless keyboard and mouse, ethernet and USB key for extra storage are then also automatically connected, thanks to the Anker.
The package comes with
Monitor pole, two arms and a laptop tray.
Plenty of screws and spacers to mount the monitor.
Some cable clips to hook cables into the arms to keep them tidy (the cables would sit in these clips along the arms, I had no need for these)
3 velcro straps, I used one of these to tie the Anker USB cable to the laptop arm so it doesn’t fall down behind my desk
Soft sticky-backed protective pad – I think this is to prevent marking the desk when clamping it
Allen key to help put it all together, and of course the manual.
You will need a PH screwdriver to screw the laptop tray to the arm mount.
The clamp assembly is removable – there are three screws in the underside of the clamp, connecting it to the pole, this is to make it possible to remove the clamp and attach another mounting method – a plate that is screwed directly into the table.
The laptop tray is connected to the arm by VESA mounting, and is simple to set up, as is the monitor mount.
The clamp doesn’t need much desk space to attach to – I have it clamped to the side of the desk and there is just 4.5cm of desk available to clamp to. The pole is approx 61cm from desk to top. This leaves plenty of height adjustment options.
The laptop tray has two cutouts in it, this helps airflow to and from the laptop – much better than having the laptop flat on a desk. The tray also tilts and pivots plenty.
I don’t see any reason why I couldn’t get another arm and attach my other monitor to it, but the height might not match the existing monitor as both arms could not occupy the same space on the pole.
The 10 year guarantee is an added peace of mind, but realistically I can’t see this stand ever failing.
Tidied my desk up a treat. Good solid product with plenty of adjustment.
