The only reason I have docked a star is the attachment piece is quite large and gets in the way. I can’t figure out how to have it within easy access to change the heat settings (which are great – you can set it at level 1 for 8 hours just to keep the edge off at night and it doesn’t even register on the smart meter!! So much savings on heating!)… When the heat settings unit is close enough to change, the insertion point is right up by my neck and arms and it’s in the way. That’s all… it’s a small point, but other than that, it’s the best thing I found all winter. Sadly a bit late!

This is the greatest thing I’ve bought in the last year. It’s so cozy and warm to snuggle up under on the sofa and is a really good size. It heats up pretty quickly, but the heating element doesn’t reach the very top of the blanket which is the only let down. I am easily warm enough under this without the central heating on. This is brilliant got for my hubby it heats up quickly and is so soft.
It is fully machine washable, it also does wash and dry perfectly and still works after. Can be used anywhere in the house as long as there’s a plug nearby!

This is my favourite electric blanket. I was looking for another Basein, as they are so reliable and a decent size; this one looked familiar. When it came it was in a Basein box and I was delighted.
Such an important buy for people who feel the cold, as you can wrap yourself up in it and adjust the temperature to your ideal cosy feel and wonder why everyone else is shivering and sneezing.
This blanket is the best for this, because it is very soft, cosy comfortable and easy to use with its no burn guarantee. So if you are feeling so cosified you drop of to sleep, you’ll be quite safe. When you wake up you’ll find all your aches and pains gone.
Purchased for my daughter and she said it’s amazing. She tends to use it wrapped around her whilst she’s working on her laptop (as it saves putting the heating on), but it’s equally as cosy when she uses it as a throw over her legs whilst on the sofa watching tv.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it keeps sliding down on the floor. I tried putting it on top of the bedding and under the top cover. Both ways it slides off the bed.
Ideal if you’ve a gamer in the house that likes to stay up late and play but also keep warm. We’ve got son back from uni and he seems to be up in the night gaming and whatever. This makes sure he’s kept warmer without having to put the heating on in the rest of the house whilst us others are asleep.
It is an over blanket still has the coil things inside it the elements but you don’t seem to feel anything when you touch it. Good it’s got the timer function on it.
In a dark grey which I think a good idea and practical for him to take back to uni too if he has another problem with heating there.
Four stars as it’s not the cheapest way of keeping warm with it being over fifty pounds then having to pay for the electric which is not the low cost it used to be. Safer than hot water bottles for elderly or bed bound people. Can be used either in bed or in chair. Comforting, seems safe with the timer but an expensive item compared to under blankets then again this can be used on chairs, sofas etc whereas an under blanket is just for bed use.

It’s a fabulous size nice and big covers me up nicely I think it would easily cover two on sofa.
Lovely and soft, heated up very quickly and I’m sat in my reclining chair all snuggled up from the cold weather outside.
No need to have central heating on high with this item to keep me warm.
Easy to use and you can set a timer in case you should forget to turn off.
I would highly recommend well worth the money.

I’ve been using this on the sofa now the colder evenings are setting in and I don’t get moaned at for wanting the heating on. Perfect for the winter evenings with a hot choc watching Christmas films.
I also love the fact this can be washed. Disconnect the power adapter for the blanket. This can be washed up to 40 degrees. (I personally can’t comment if the blanket retains its softness once washed) I will edit this review once I have done this.
I do want to purchase 2 more but right now I won’t be unless these go to around the 40 mark again as that’s what I truly believe this blanket is worth
Nice heated over blanket (you shouldn’t use these under other blankets as it can overheat you — also don’t force pets, etc. into them as they can also overheat).
The product itself is made of a nice soft fleece like material that is incredibly comfy to be under (and of the time of writing has survived 4 trips through the washing machine on a low/medium setting — while maintaining its softness and shape) — the product is also true to size (both before and after washing). The different heating settings offer a nice variety, and the timing function works as expected with the included cable of a decent length that reaches from the plug socket at the top of the bed all the way down to the bottom of the bed — it is also quite a “strong” fit (between the cable and blanket connector) so shouldn’t be easy to pull out while you’re sleeping, walking about, etc.
Value wise it seems reasonable (I compared against the one I purchased a few years ago) and while I feel the one I purchased before is slightly comfier / softer / etc. this is actually a cheaper product (looking at the RRP at time of writing about 15) and as such is still of great value (it is also a good size for the price!) — and I’ve no doubt this should last just as long given due care.
Overall it seems to be a great product thus far, and looks like it will stand the test of time and is more or less as good as the previous heated blanket (from a different company) I bought before (for a higher price).

This blanket is lovely and soft. It’s a good size to go over 2 peoples laps or one persons whole body. It has a digital temp selection and a timer. It gets warm quickly and evenly. There are 2 buttons on the plug attaching it to the blanket and they are difficult to push in to remove the plug for washing so if you’re elderly or have weak fingers you might need help with this. It’s lovely for snuggling under to watch family films!

I have double size bed and this blanket covers it perfectly. At first I was using it to actually cover myself but what I have figured out is to place it under the fitted sheet and warm up the bed and surface from the bottom, this way you can simply turn on the blanket some time before going to the bed and it will wait you nice and warm.
Settings are pretty simple, a button for time and button for heating level. There are 9 levels of heat in total and 9 hours timer. I have tried most of heating levels and I have to say that top 3 levels of heat are baking hot and I felt very uncomfortable how warm it was.
Blanket is super soft and you would never say it is heated one if there were no cables.
I use it daily and i love it! It will be even better for colder upcoming winter days!
This is a stunning electric blanket that came just at the right time. It is a generous 185cm x 135cm. It heats very quickly and is very soft. There are ten adjustable heat levels (32c to 50c) and the blanket can be washed by hand or washing machine (I haven’t washed it yet). The heat settings can easily be adjusted using the digital controller. You can easily remove the controller for washing. The heating coil is covered by a PVC insulating layer to prevent burns. This is an excellent quality product but I do feel it is overpriced at the present price of 52.99. I do recall it being 39.99 when I first received this product over two weeks ago.
This is an well made product that I expect will last several years.
This is toasty warm. It is very soft and comfy and super warm.
It is fully machine washable and i can confirm that despite my reservations it does wash and dry perfectly and still works after. I have a silentnight heated underblanket for my bed that does the same and i was very hesitant to wash it but it was fine.
The blanket is super soft, its cosy and will save me a fortune on heating bills, which is just as well considering the cost of electricity.
What’s better than having a blanket to cuddle under on a chilly night? A soft heated blanket. My wife and I have been using this for a little while now, and its really good. Our house can get chilly and rather than stick the heating on for the whole house, turning this on to watch TV or what have you is fantastic.
It has a number of setting, but we start off on high and turn it low once its heated up. Its really soft too, so all in all, this is a great find.
I was on the lookout for something to keep my wife warm when she’s watching TV as she’s always cold and came across this. It sounds like it’s a warm blanket on its own with the added benefit of being heated if needed. I had to try it.
It comes in a plain box with basic information on and the blanket is inside, wrapped in a plastic baggie to keep it clean. It feels really soft to the touch and as soon as my wife seen it, her eyes lit up Unfolding the blanket, you will find the heating controls inside. You’ll also see the detachable plug which allows you to detach the remote control from the blanket so it can be washed in a washing machine. Plugging it in and a red dot appear on the remote control until you press the power button. From here, you select your heat setting from 1 through to 9 and one more which just displays H for Hot which is its maximum heat setting. It didn’t take long to warm up and after about 2 minutes, you could feel the heat, so it was fairly quick to get the heat going. Using the blanket without the heating on is still cosy and it holds your body heat in well.
The timer button controls the time it is on in hours, and they range from 1-9. You can see where the heating tubes are by the stitching as they are help in place by little channels, so they won’t move out of place. The heat pipes don’t go all the way to the end, but they do get close to it. My wife is extremely happy with this she can spend hours under it. If you’re after a warm blanket, with the added benefit of additional heat if needed, then I can recommend this one
What a find! This is quite a light blanket but once turned on it’s so warm. It heats up really quickly and is lovely to sit under. It’s big enough for one person, maybe two cuddled up at a stretch. It has lots of settings but I can’t get past heat setting number four as it gets too hot for me after a few minutes. I think that will change when the cold weather sets in.
The lead is not that generous so you need to sit fairly close to a plug socket. I think it’s amazing that you can wash this! I haven’t tried it yet but I will report back when I do.

This is a really lovely throw. Even if it didn’t have the heated elements it would be a lovely throw, it is a really good size. The material is a really soft thick fleece. The cable is a fairly decent length so it can reach to a nearby plug. The instructions that come with the blanket are easy to understand and the controller is easy to operate. The blanket heats up fairly quickly and is really lovely and warm. My husband feels the cold and he definitely gives this a thumbs up.
I only give it 4 stars because I’m annoyed by all the other reviews. So far, I am the only reviewer who actually paid for this item. How did so many people get this product for free? It seems completely biased that all these people are giving their free product 5 stars. And because it’s now a 5 star product, the price has increased.

This is amazing came in a nice little box with a handle for easy storage. Works great. Has a great temperature to keep warm. I love that it has a auto shut off button aswell
The outer fabric is a rich velvet which makes it very pleasant on the skin. It also manages to be very light having no heavy lining so it doesn’t feel too smothering and is also easily portable around the house, from the bed to the sofa and even to an armchair. Unlike electric blankets I’ve known till now it doesn’t take an hour or so to reach its temperature setting, but between 2 to 5 minutes. It’s 1 to 10 temperature settings are very responsive meaning one can adjust the temperature easily and quickly to suit. It’s a generous size. Not quite a double bed, but wider than single. Good for snuggling up with someone else on the sofa.
Anyone who experiences general body pain or poor circulation will really value this, or even for those who like to get warm and toasty without keeping the central heating on at a permanently tropical setting.
Might even become a practical necessity in these days of spiralling gas prices (nothing to do with Brexit 🙂 )
I love this heated throw, it is perfect for keeping you warm and toasty whatever the weather outside. It is a real help if you have joint conditions as the warmth seems to help. It looks good too, the grey colour matches my decor and it is neutral enough to go with most colours. The material is fleece but actually feels quite velvety,
The blanket is a large size (135cm x185cm) perfect for one, or even cosy for two if you feel like sharing (I don’t!). It has a digital controller which is easy to use and allows you to select a temperature between 32-50C. A bonus is that the blanket is easily machine washable and it feels even better when newly washed and superfresh.
This is a perfect present for anyone who feels the cold. Often I find it to be just enough to warm me up and I don’t need the heating on. Basically it’s a super blanket and if you want to stay cosy it’s a great buy.

The blanket arrives in a nice big box, well packaged, and is extremely soft and a gorgeous colour too that will blend in with most decors! And even better it’s very easy to set up and go! The control pad is simple to use, and I couldn’t believe how little time it took to heat up! I put it on 5 to begin with and that was plenty warm enough for October – I think this will be a godsend during the colder months and am extremely happy to now own one as I think it will be getting lots of use!

I received this electric over blanket just as the weather started to turn colder and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I initially got the blanket to use in our caravan holiday home because it gets so cold in the bedroom and the caravan central heating system isn’t the best. It is perfect for this and the box it arrives in is sturdy enough to use to pack the blanket back in at the end of each holiday season.
This blanket hasn’t actually made it to the caravan yet though because I am enjoying it so much on my bed at home.
I have a disability which makes it difficult to get in or out of bed so we have two single electric beds which are professionally joined together. This makes the bed six foot wide so this blanket is a little on the small size, but it covers the areas where we both sleep so it really isn’t a problem.
The controller has a good long lead so when plugged into the socket on the wall it can easily reach the bed. The supplied instructions are easy to understand and as soon as I had the blanket on the bed I switched it on. The controller can be set on nine different heat settings and the timer can be set from one to nine hours, just by pressing the buttons. The blanket automatically turns off when it reaches the set time.
This blanket starts to feel warm almost immediately and along with the softness of the blanket material, it doesn’t take long to start feeling cozy and relaxed.
This is the first electric blanket I have owned that can also be washed on a delicate wash in my washing machine. It recommends a wash of no higher than 40-degrees, but I think a 30-degree wash would be adequate. The material is quite thin so I am not expecting it to take long to dry on the clothes airer.
I cant recommend this blanket enough. I love it. I think I may need to get a second one for the caravan because this one is set to stay on my bed at home!
The blanket is very well packed, looks like a nice gift. The blanket is very soft, made of very soft, delicate and warm material. The blanket is sewn with high quality, all seams are well processed. It is very warm, comfortable and lightweight. It warms up well in several modes. The cord is quite comfortable and long, if necessary, it can be easily disconnected.
The blanket comes in a smart box with a handle, for easy transportation. There is a short instruction book but the controller is pretty self explanatory. There’s an on off switch, a button to select your temperature from 1-9 (then h), and a button to set an off timer from 1-9 hours. It auto turns on at heat 4, which I found to be sufficient to keep me warm. The blanket itself is a decent thickness, silky soft and a neutral grey. Feels like a quality product and I would recommend. I haven’t tried washing it yet.
I’ve tried to get the hue of grey in this picture but even without filters it doesn’t do this slightly darker blue ish grey justice. Was easy to wash and dry and wow when I tell you this is a life changing moment for me, I’m not over exaggerating. My body is always in pain and I do struggle to keep warm, not anymore. Level 1 was amazing and up to level 4 you’re happy and very warm. I love this.
Since the moment she plugged this blanket in and wrapped it around herself she has fallen in love with it. She literally said the first evening of using it that it’s the best thing I’ve ever given her! As you’ll see from the photo, our dog has taken to it as well – as soon as it comes out she’s perched on top of it 🙂
Comfort: The blanket is made of a really soft velvety fleece material. It’s incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin and the fleece is on both sides of the blanket. It’s very big at 135cm by 185cm – enough to completely wrap yourself up in it.
Appearance: The blanket has a really interesting colour. It’s not quite blue, not quite green, not quite grey either, but somewhere in-between those 3 colours. If you’ve ever seen a ‘blue’ French Bulldog then it’s quite like that!
Heat: The heating system within the blanket is really discrete. It’s not heavy and doesn’t make the blanket rigid or anything like that either. To turn the blanket on all you need to do is plug it in and press the ‘on’ button; you then have buttons to turn the heat up or down. The heat starts very moderate at setting 1, but setting H (which comes after 9 – so basically 10) is going to be way too warm for most people. Even my parter who is ALWAYS freezing has only gone up to a 5 so far.
Washing: The manual says that you can wash the blanket by removing the power box. This is easy to do – it simply clips and unclips to the blanket at the side by the label.
Overall: My partner absolutely loves this. It’s incredibly soft, it’s large enough to snuggle under, the heat options mean you can find the perfect temperature for you (from a moderate heat to absolutely boiling!) and it looks great too. An easy 5 stars 🙂
This a brilliant, I got it this as my wife likes her throws and often puts one over her on the chillier days (she feels the cold far more than me), it starts to get warm pretty quickly even on the default heat setting of 4 (there are ten levels (1-9) in all the final one being H) the default is also to be on for 4 hours but I am sure it didn’t stay on that long in testing again 1 to 9 are options too for this setting.
The unit can be manually turned on/off with the button also on the device, this can also be unplugged allowing you to machine wash the fleecy throw however it does warn you to thoroughly dry it again before use. perhaps the simpler easier way is to lightly spray and wipe off as is also suggested.
Decent size for many and would comfortably cover a double bed, king size and super king (like ours) not so good however most is covered

This heated blanket comes in an easy-to-carry sturdy card box, complete with an instruction leaflet. The blanket is washable both by hand and by machine and has a three-pin standard plug fitted to the detachable cable. The controls are easy to understand and to operate. The blanket works on a user-selected timed schedule and whilst the On switch is labelled as On/Off, there is not a switch-off function.
When I took the blanket from the bag inside the box, I was delighted with how soft and friendly it feels. It’s a micro fleece fabric, very inviting to the touch and very flexible. I wrapped myself in the blanket like the lady in The Third Man, and switched it on. Immediately I could feel the blanket warm up. There is no pre-heating time needed, it is instant. I found it very comforting and cosy.
The blanket can be used over the bed at night, round your shoulders to keep warm, as a lap rug or even as an adult’s security blanket. It’s big enough to share and covers a double bed with ease. I’m totally pleased with it. It’s the best heated blanket I have experienced.
And + / – to move up and down the timer settings 1 – 9 hrs, once the chosen time has passed, the blanket automatically switches off. The heat settings are very gradual, when I started at 1 it was warmer than I expected, but in a nice way. Working my way through the heat settings all the way up to 9, all very gradual temperature increases. My son currently has a touch of the cold and has really enjoyed sitting with the throw around him. As the cold winter nights approach, this heated throw will become a favourite in our household. We’ll certainly be taking it camping with us.

This a brilliant, I got it for my daughter to use on the sofa as she is always cold, it heats up immediately, and she asked to lower the heat, as it was hot, not something I thought I would hear from her.
It is a nice size, really comfy, the fleece is silky and it is so warm, we only had it on setting 5-6 and it was really warm, the addition of a time is a brilliant idea.

This is just amazing! I tried it out today after getting caught in the rain I got home & was freezing, got on the sofa & put this around me oooooh la la it is SO soft, I turned the heat on and a few minutes later I can feel this heating up, I was so toasty half an hour later I fell alseep!!! When I woke up I have two of my dogs on me stealing this & the heat from me! The cheek of them 🙂 so it is a great winner with me and my dogs adore it, I have pretty much had it on all day, I have poor circulation so this has kept my legs & feet warm today so happy. Everytime the dogs had to go outside in the rain to go loo when they came in they jumped up on this MY warm throw I am not giving this up to the dogs I have to draw a line somewhere LOL kidding I’ll share.
