This table seemed relatively new compared to other brands, but the reviews were good so I took a chance and I’m very pleased I did.
It looks nice, seems well constructed, sturdy and robust. There isn’t much movement in the desk when typing which was why I decided on this desk rather than another, seemingly more popular one.
I do lower the desk once I’ve finished using it, so the keyboard part is flush with the table top beneath. Mainly because I have a young, exuberant cat who likes to run around the house like it’s his private racetrack and I don’t want his shenanigans to accidentally damage it at all
Not too heavy for me to move around and again, another reason I chose this desk over another one with excellent reviews as that one was heavy enough to need two people to move it.
FYI: I’m female, roughly 167cm, about 65kg and I’m no spring chicken anymore either!! Obviously, I’m not The Rock hahaha
Sieht schn aus, bietet genau den groen Platz, den ich fr einen 34″ Monitor bentige und erreicht auch mit meinen 1,81m eine Hhe, in der ich angenehm stehend sowie sitzend arbeiten kann. EInziges Manko: Habe insgesamt ca. 9 Kilo auf der Erhhung (von den maximal ca. 15) und die Hydraulik schafft das nicht allein. Man muss, wenn man wirklich ganz nach oben will, den Rest selbst hoch drcken — berhaupt nicht ergonomisch.
Really happy with the quality of the standing desk. Looks great and fits on my small-ish desk quite easily. With the laptop and the extra screen it was still easy to lift the desk to standing position and drop it back down.

Easy to lift up and down at preferred height. Does not have fixed levels so basically you can adjust to any height you want within the limit of the product. I’m 5″2 and find it fits me well sitting or standing.
The standing desk converter is easy to assemble (took me 5 minutes), it is heavier than expected but that shows how sturdy it is. I’ve been using it for nearly a month now and couldn’t be happier with my choice. A little advice: measure everything twice before you buy it, and keep in mind that the overall level of the surface will be about 2cm/1in higher than the original – think of it as the legs of the converter. Luckily, I was aware of this, so it all fits perfectly.

Really love this product! It does what it’s supposed to. I can work standing up which is a massive support for my back. Super easy to assemble too.
Nice wooden color, and big enough for two monitors on top or laptop on the lower shelf. The lower shelf feels a bit weak, but so far so good. Standing while working has been easing my leg pain and seems like a healthier way to spend the day. Recommend!
Arrived quickly from Australia to NZ. Very easy to set up. I’m 1.61m with short legs so struggle to get a workstation set up properly. The adjustable level means I can stand or even kneel. It’s hasn’t tipped forward yet but I won’t put too much weight on the keyboard panel. This also means that I’ve to have my lunch away from my desk, always a good thing. There are sponges to stick to the bottom of the panel but I haven’t figured out what they are for, yet. This would work well on any sturdy table as it’s base. The surfaces are large enough to use 2 monitors on the top shelf. I tend to write notes and have my notebook beside my mouse but this bottom shelf is slightly trim. This will work well for someone who like a minimalist working station.
Assembly was very simple, just requiring 8 screws. The keyboard try is very stable when the table is flat, thanks to the provided foam blocks. I put felt stickers on the rubber feet of the table so as to protect my own desk, and if you do that, you must remember to also put them on those foam blocks to keep it even and level.
The action of the desk is very smooth. It does require a bit of force to lift it up with the two monitors, as you are not getting any boost from the hydraulics, but it is quite manageable. Lowering feels much smoother. The desk is also quite stable when standing. Of course there is a tiny bit of shake on the monitor when one types with force, but it is nothing distracting.
This desk is well worth the price, and I can’t see spending twice as much for the same utility. The finish on the wood is fine, and goes with my existing desk quite well.

Works well – the extra level is actually a bit too much for my small apartment but it will be fine as soon as I’m not WFH. The directions for the extra level look confusing but right now it doesn’t matter as I’m not using it.
I’ve got on really well with this standing desk. It looks smart, was pretty much assembled in the box. It goes up and down easily for if I’m getting a bit tired with standing.

Great for homeworking – sitting and standing. Really easy to assemble and doesn’t look cluttered. I have a white desk so picked the white converter. The lower shelf sticks out a bit from the desk, so be sure to measure where you need to stick the foam to stop the front tipping.
I initially received a terrible order (wrong colour, damaged, missing parts), but the seller handled the issue gracefully and now I’m quite happy with the new product.
Very functional and quite easy to assemble. It takes up more space on a standard size desk than I though and I did not go for the full size. Handles a large monitor and laptop easily and the raising function is great. Seems very sturdy as well but have not had it for long.

I’m very happy with the sturdiness and size of this. I’ve got two screens, keyboard, mouse and space for drinks and notepad. I’m glad I got this rather than replacing the whole desk. It’s easy to move up and down.

My original order did not work but I received excellent customer service to try to resolve the problem and when this could not be resolved the company sent me a new desk which works perfectly.
Back in August during lockdown in the height of Covid in Sydney, first time working from home and I decided to order this desk that sadly arrived broken. This was due to the delivery service not Ergomaker. I was so disappointed and wrote a review about my outcome on amazon and Ergomaker got in touch and offered me a brand new desk at no extra cost. They worked with me on what occurred to better improve their services but made sure i was happy with my new product. They kept in contact until it arrived safely. Very sturdy for the price, easy to move up and down. I wasn’t convinced about standing at my desk but after a few wfh related ailments decided to give it a go and it makes such a difference, reccomended
Da ich mir kein zustzlichen Schreibtisch (Platz) anschaffen wollte, suchte ich nach einem Stehpult hhenverstellbar mit einem akzeptablen Preis. Der Ergomaker ist in Preis und Leistung unschlagbar, lediglich war die Verankerung des Hebels fr die Hhenverstellung herausgebrochen bei der Lieferung. Selbst geklebt und nicht sichtbar oder Einschrnkung in der Funktion, deshalb 4 Sterne.
Wasn’t sure what to expect so give this one a try. It’s very sturdy, quick to assemble (took my partner about 10-15 mins to build), the hydraulic mechanism is superb so far. Doesn’t require to use much effort to lift the desk up or push it down. Got back pain and no problem using it at all. Use it with a laptop, small keyboard and mouse, still got the space for writing notes (on the keyboard shelf – although I wouldn’t lean my whole body weigh on it). My partner wanted one for himself after assembling it for me and saw me using it. For that price and home use, I’d definitely recommend it. Hope it’s also durable but time would tell.

This has absolutely changed the way I work from home. I have less back pain and it feels good to stand! I have this on my dining room table. This product is very sturdy and rises up and down easily. Slightly fiddly to attach the keyboard shelf but not difficult. When using it in a sitting position, the keyboard shelf wobbles but I simply put some coasters underneath it to stop that. The only slight downside for me personally is the weight. I read that it weighs 28ibs (yes I knew this before I purchased it), and since I’ll need to move it sometimes, it’s a little heavy to lift on and off the table. I wish there was an easier way to detach the keyboard shelf, other than having to unscrew it. But It’s so sturdy and great to use, I can get past that. I also bought it in cherry, which matches the table. Well worth the money.

I love it. slightly bigger than I imagined but fits both my monitors with room for paperwork in between and there is room for mouse next to keyboard so easy to use when standing.

This is easy to use and really sturdy. It keeps your keyboard and screens at a nice height ti work both sitting and standing. It has plenty of space. I use my laptop, a screen as well as a cuppa and still has room for a notepad. It has transformed my desk allowing me to swap between sitting and standing in seconds . I chose this version as it is a lovely colour and also is slightly larger than others I’ve seen. I would definitely recommend.
Having used the desk for two weeks so far, I have to say, big fan. I like the wood finish (goes with the rest of my room) and it looks a lot better than other black/white finish products I see online. The construction also seems sturdy – it holds up under quite a lot of weight (pictured) and am having no problems with it buckling. The lifting mechanism works great to.
This is a great stand for the money. Very easy to assembly with plenty of cable tidy clips. It extends higher than needed and with a smooth mechanism. Feels like good quality materials and supports my laptop and 2nd monitor easily.
Mine was slightly wobbly, but the seller was very helpful saying how i could correct this issue, even sending a bespoke video for me, and gave a small refund for my time.
Would buy from Ergomaker again.
Je souhaitais travailler un peu dbout dans la journe (pour viter la stagnation au bureau & les problmes de dos), grce se rhausseur de bureau c’est possible. Pratique avec sa manette sur le ct pour lever & baisser le rhausseur.

Despus de trabajar tantos aos sentado, haba estado observando este tipo de escritorios y no me arrepiento de haber dado el paso. Va genial y el acabado en madera encaja con la decoracin de mi casa, parece que ocupa ms espacio cuando est extendido pero es solo el efecto de ver como sube hasta arriba y cuando est plegado se queda un set muy sencillo para trabajar sentado cosa que voy a intercalar durante mi jornada laboral pero estoy muchsimo ms cmodo de pie y mis lumbares lo agradecen desde el minuto uno.
I never leave reviews but felt I had to for this product, it’s is a lot better than I expected and his been a life saver for my back, the option to change from sitting to standing with so much ease is just what I needed. Highly recommend

The desk was very easy to assemble, is easy to use – looks great and has plenty of room for your equipment.
Pretty easy to assemble, especially if you ignore the pictorial instructions. Basically you have 4 screws to attach the keyboard rest, and the Allen key that you need comes with the pack.
Not as heavy as I imagined, but the plus point is that it’s easy to lift onto your table. It’s not quite as robust as I’d hoped but the movement of screen when typing is minimal/acceptable.
Not bad for the price, about 1/3 cost of similar items.
Dislikes: Major issue with the lift mechanism. Pings up a treat with nothing on the upper shelf, but I have a heavy all-in-one computer, not a plain monitor. When I lift the release handle the shelf sinks like a stone, and raising it back up is a major problem, doubly awkward because the keyboard support is in a fixed position protruding from the front, and you are stooping over to reach the handle to try to lift the weight, essentially by yourself with little natural uplift. I repositioned my desk to get access from the rear which means at least my back is straighter when I have to lift it. It really needs MUCH more hydraulic pressure if you have an all-in-one computer.
Insufficient room to move the mouse. My natural movement on a desk is far greater than is allowed by the dimensions of the keyboard shelf. I’ve seen worse shelves, but I have yet to see anyone build a system with enough room. It just needs some thought about design. I increased the sensitivity of my mouse as a workaround.
Miscellaneous:
You get a few cable-tidy gizmos, whether you need them depends on your set up. You also get three matchbox size pads which you are invited to stick onto the keyboard shelf. Took me a while to figure out what these were and what they were meant to do. Basically, in the down position, the shelf rattles all over the place when you type. With the pads attached to the underside of the keyboard shelf, the system is completely stable. (I don’t think the suggested positioning of the pads is optimal, the downward pressure from your hands when typing is at the very front of the shelf. I put all three pads along the underside of the front edge.
I have the keyboard and PC offset a bit to the left of centre of the system, for which there is room to do thankfully, giving more space for mouse movement on the right hand side.
Overall, too many workarounds for this product to be completely acceptable; risk of back injury if you have a heavy all-in-one computer, rather than a monitor, is a major weakness.
Edit: I’m happy to acknowledge that the supplier was good enough to investigate my issue and accept, after their own testing, that my heavy all in one computer could not be lifted. If you have a laptop or monitor this product should be fine. While more uplift would be handy for me, it would then be difficult to lower the shelf for lightweight laptops and monitors which I guess are the majority. I was offered some money back, which is a good compromise and demonstrates good service.

Genuinely made a difference to my remote working set up. I like being able to easily choose when to stand up & sit down especially when running meetings and/or workshops. It looks professional and is quick to put together – 10 mins and I’d recommend asking someone to give you a hand to hold things, but nothing more complicated than that.

This does the job nicely, you can either use sitting or standing simply by lifting the lever and lifting. It also has an attractive wood finish that matches the desk. Half as cheap as some other makes so its a no brainer. Happy with my purchase, would recommend.
