Powerful pump, convenient to use and store away when not in use
ook a while to get started then found that it didn’t have enough oil in the sump so warning to anybody else who looking to buy the evo-system please check the oil level first.the one I bought was very low on oil but other than that it seems to be ok. time will tell
The generator purchase is a fantastic compact product promptly delivered within the dates that were specified. Very happy with my purchase.
Great system all round except for the handle which is just too short for the unit on its own and way too short to transport it with the generator attachment. It’s a wonder Evo do not have a retrofit as I am sure they have had this complaint lots of times.
A great unit and performs well and starts easily, just remember not to pull cord straight from bottom but let it catch and then pull

Powerful add-on to the Evolution EvoSystem Engine Unit that works really well unlike the kind of pressure washer available in some of the large DIY stores.
Great unit, easy to start nd an engine that puts out plenty of power.
Engine is IMO quiet and runs well even when used for longer periods.
Only qualm and reason for not giving 5 Stars, is the transport handle;
this is not supported enough (only two wing nuts). As the unit is quite heavy
I am sure this will not last long. Would have been easily reinforced, by just
using 4 wing nuts. The PTO units are easily mounted (Generator, Pressure washer)
sliding onto the engine (note: best done at a downwards angle).
Would highly recommend, especially as the general price of this unit has come down
a lot over the past 12 months. Just be careful to compare the offers on amazon as there are
quite big proces differences.
This engine is slightly cheaper than the MITSUBISHI engine.
I can’t compare the two, as I have only owned this one.

First class piece of kit! Voltage selector switch could do with protecting from knocks and bangs but apart from that an execellent product.
Partial review, more to follow it’s only just arrived.
First: all the bits where there a good start.
Second: bolts for supporting feet all good but one of the threads hadn’t been cut properly so ?I’ll have to ‘re cut that myself, not spending time sending back
Third: handle threads also not cut correctly.
Decent handbook and instructions so can’t fault that, tomorrow I’ll fire it up and see what happens.
UPDATE: purchased and filled with oil, put fuel in and she fired up… lucky I only ran it for a short while as a few moments later I noticed fuel leaking, only slightly, however on further inspection and checking the fuel hose it had a rather large hole in it: now I have to print / scan a receipt and organise a swap for a new unit next week : could I have replaced the hose myself, maybe… but, why should I have to do the work.
Update 18 Jan 2016: So the replacement unit arrived, great, all good and really can’t fault it. Works a treat.
Not used it yet but an updated review will follow later, appears to be a sturdy well built product. Protective case for the coupling was damaged on receipt although there was no damage to the package, seems somebody isn’t quality checking before dispatch.

super little generator just the thing we have been looking for for a long time to replace the large bulky and very heavy ones used in the passed also have the pressure washer unit just as happy with that item too
I’ve just bough the GT600 Engine and Generator attachment on another well known auction site for 225.00 including post. I thought that was outstanding as it’s probably just a bit more than what you would normally pay for something made in China. I had a good look around for about a week or so before buying this new. I’m actually gobsmacked at what I got for the money. The day I decide to sell I would think I would probably not lose much money. I have to give a five star rating just for value for money, never mind the quality.

I bought this with the pressure washer to clean large areas of patio (approx 700m2), to go with a professional flat surface cleaner. The power washer unit seems well made and works great. Loads of power when using the supplied lance and it’s powerful enough to bring concrete in a garage entrance that hadn’t been washed in 10yrs up like new.
Obviously you need to buy the Evolution engine along with the attachment, and it looks like it’s a good piece of kit. There are two models available and I’ve got the Evolution 6.5hp one. I’ve heard people say it’s noisy, but I’ve used many generators and it’s no noisier than other engines of a similar output. It’s smooth running, easy to start and easy to move about.

This is an awesome piece of equipment – every house owner should have one.
Can’t wait for more Output’s to come out.
Since you read the reviews, you will know by now that this is just the engine, and by itself does squat, so you need at least one Output (washer, generator or pump).
Because the unit vibrates quite a bit (at least my washer is doing that), the fuel cap came off and landed on some hot piece of metal. I was pleased that the manufacturer sent me a new cap within a day with no fuzz.
Other than that, I can say only great things about the engine/washer combo: starts instantly, performs exceptionally well as a power washer and the handle can be removed, so it can be transported in every decently sized boot. And believe me, you will have to load it in a boot, because all your friends will ask you if they can borrow it, once they see your patio, garden furniture or what not.
I bought it as a “used” item from the amazon warehouse and paid 160 quid for the engine with pressure washer Output. I received brand new units, if they were opened I was at least unable to tell. So I am happy as a clam having struck what I reckon to be an awesome deal.
Great to see that some manufacturers still produce really good quality stuff and that not all is rubbish. Also great that Evolution offers decent customer service. I had email answer back within a day and my replacement part arrived within a day as well.

powerful about 175 bar.quite small which is quite surprising for its power rating.
clips onto evo engine in seconds well worth the price.better than the popular expensive yellow model that I previously had.
When I received mine via Amazon I was initially disappointed as it would not start.
However I personally found Evolution’s customer service to be very helpful and quick to respond, they were more than willing to collect and replace my engine unit, although this was not required as they quickly diagnosed the problem and offered the solution. It now starts first time and every time.
I use this with the power washer attachment and for the money its a great buy.

This time, the fourth time, it arrived as usual with it’s box severely battered, but this time only the coupling protector was broken.
The actual generator attachment itself was fine. As I needed the attachment, I decided I could live with the broken protector.
Packaging is not enough to pad out the product sufficiently in transit but the actual generator attachment itself is very good.
As another reviewer has said, this is very heavy when attached and the handles on the motor aren’t really man enough for moving that much weight too far. It might be worth moving the engine into place and then carrying the generator attachment over to it rather than wheeling the two parts together.
Revved up a bit when I powered a 2500-3000 Watt rated kettle but did the job.
Product loses a star for it’s dire packaging. If it was available ‘off the shelf’ this wouldn’t be a problem but as it is not, four stars.
Another excellent product from Evolution, it’s just a shame about the packaging issues.

The output is very easy to connect and use with the Evo system once you know how.
As others have said, you will need the engine to make this work, it is not a standalone unit!
This Evolution Pressure Washer add on for the petrol engine (I already own) is fantastic and has the power to wash the car clean without the need to employ elbow grease afterwards. The power means it can really get to work but not have to concentrate a small jet, instead it performs brilliantly with a wide jet saving me time and giving a much more even finish. I’ve also used this to clean exterior walls and patios where it proved it self extremely proficient.
Another nice feature is the build quality. It’s a robust unit with a good strong rubber hose and gun, unlike the cheaper ones this hose doesn’t keep kinking which leads to ruptures. The gun is robust yet the trigger nice and light so you don’t get muscle ache after extended use.
Finally I want to mention the integrated detergent reservoir that automatically kicks in when the lance is put in low pressure mode (switch on the lance, nice feature) so you can apply extra detergent when needed without having to swap hose attachments.
I have this to power the dirty water pump and generator attachments. it works very well, easy to start, runs for a long time on a single tank and folds away nicely.
based on the experience I’ve have with the other attachments and this engine i’m now looking to replace my electric pressure washer with the one that attaches to this.
Very good product and reliable. the petrol engine you need to buy is easy to start and runs for a long time on a single tank of fuel.

Please note that you also need to buy the impeller ridged hose(recommend about 5 meters and get the clear version so you can see the water starting to be sucked up) and the lay flat output host (I use a 15 meters output hose but it would be fine with 20+). You will also need to buy some strong jubilee clips as the ones that come with the pump probably won’t compress the ridged hose enough for a seal.
All in all, outstanding pump.

Great bit of equipment. Only downside is that if you try to wheel it with an attachment on the front the handle bars aren’t up to it. Minor design change would solve.
Otherwise starts first time, water pump attachment dwp1000 has got to pump more than 1000 litres a minute it’s amazing and generator works as described. Don’t have high pressure hose yet.
Only downside is that the additional weight of this attachment means the handles on the evo200 aren’t up to the job so best to unclip and wheel separately
Remember that this is an ATTACHMENT – some guys have bought the generator attachment thinking its a standalone piece of equipment. You need the Evo200 engine.
The handles just shift out of vertical even when very tightly secured.
A small modification ( a couple of bolt on lugs ) would sort this.
The unit is superbly finished and exudes quality of workmanship
Only thing is that I had to pay a bit more for it, but the lesson here is…..don’t bother with Amazon for this piece of kit…they can’t supply it. Deal with a company who can.
I have several Evolution tools, as expected the engine starts like a honda.
plenty of power for the evolution power washer, very good value, works well.
so I put my bosch turbo lance on to it, worked brilliantly, the bosch lance was the only good thing
about the bosch pro 160x pressure washer.
I needed a longer hose as it is 6m long, I e-mailed Evolution but they never repied, dissapointing.
I got one from a local dealer, cheaper than online, 20mm male 20mm female ends.
I would have given 5 stars but evolution didn’t help.
Word of warning – you must buy this product with the EvoSystem EVO200 engine unit – otherwise it will not run. But bought together; you will not be disappointed!

I love how you can buy different outputs to fit there engine. I have never seen anything like this before.
I’m not sure what the other review means unless they bought just this output with no engine to run it?
So yes just this output will obviously not work if you don’t buy the Evolution Engine to power it but once you buy into it then the additional generator or water pump just clicks in and will run off the same engine.
You need the Evolution EVO200 Engine to run these outputs!

Like? Starting it. I have various hedge trimmers, chainsaws, strimmers, generators. All are ok but find I have to tweek to keep starting fine, even from new. This engine, no such problems after around 17 uses in the past three weeks. Takes next to no physical effort. That, combined with the fact it is multi-purpose with the add on units available makes it the most useful portable tool I have purchased in years. As for the ‘Portable’ bit, comes on a trolley with wheels and a handlebar to move it around with. I’ve made a lot of space in my van by using this with the add-ons as have cleared out the separate units I carried for each job. Wish I had seen it 20 years ago.
Who would I recommend it to? Private lanscape gardeners. Small construction firms ( Guys, it will do everything). Private mobile car valeting companies. ( Looks professional, unlike your Karcher pressure washer, which of course you may have to ask if you can plug in.)
and it certainly lives up to what it says on the box would highly recommend this machine .
