Amazing product the camera is excellent, really easy to set up and install and the picture quality is brilliant. I would definitely recommend this product, have bought another for my parents too. 10/10 Ezvis
Great images from this door bell you can install an SD card rather than subscribe to the cloud services
We’ve installed this to replace a standard doorbell. Find it comforting to be able to see anyone roaming around as we are back from the road. First of all we stuck the base on the door but, in the very warm weather, the glue softened and the doorbell fell off! Now it’s screwed on and everything working well.
There are a number of various options on this to make it work really well I found. WiFi was little tricky at first to setup but once connected I’ve never turned it off as it uses very little energy too. The battery life on the camera is very good compared to Ring and other doorbell camera. I charged this to 100% and its on 95% in a space of a week. However its running on super saving performance mode because there is generally someone always in the house and it saves on battery. Depending on what mode you have it on will run the battery down more obviously but still better than other suppliers in my opinion. The notifications you can alter to suit and change the chime noises, I only wish the chime was able to be a bit louder when trying to hear it upstairs for example however it’s still fine for what it delivers. Picture quality is really good and you cna choose between different PQ settings too, I leave mine on ultra HD. I don’t tend to have any issues with the notifications through to my mobile and also the two way audio like some others have experienced. In general its a very good video doorbell for the price and find the app easy to use and setup with camera to tell me what I want it to do.
This unit, like the other cameras we have from this company is great. The picture quality is at the top of the pile and the price is good. PLUS… So subscription is needed, unlike the more expensive ones from Google and Ring. This is part of a much larger security camera company, Hikvision. They supply industrial, state of the are camera systems to industry.
Installation was very easy and it came with angled mounts, standard mounts and even a sticky mount. Set up was a doddle and it was up and running in ten minutes. Because it uses and SD card for recording to, you can view the video either from the app on your phone, or on a PC/laptop. That SD card is not in the bell push, it is in the ringer unit, inside the house. So it is secure. It is of course larger than a normal door bell push, but it packs a punch. The App gives real time notification of intrusions, so you can keep and eye on deliveries and even tell them where to leave the package, via the on board mic and speaker.
We also have Ezviz C3X cameras x 3, the “OutPro C3TN x 1 and the indoor C1C. Not one subscription and all doing exactly what they should.
Been waiting for offer so I can have this to go on app as have cameras also. Great video. Downside-playback or answering doesn’t work if at all if not on UK data or wifi so no good if out of country
I haven’t had I long enough to review battery life, but set up was quite easy. Picture & detection good.
The only criticism is there is a lag between motion detection, doorbell ring etc & chime working & notification.
Unfortunately I had to return this as we (a teacher, lawyer and an engineer) were unable to set it up due to poor instructions.
Had for month now and battery still 89% lost a few percent in 1st few days with messing with it . But if leave to do its job works really well . Would recommend ezviz products
Quite pleased with the purchase. One point to note; make sure you fully charge the door bell before fixing it. There was 47% charge on mine which takes a long time to go down. So on day 3 when it was at 45% I took off the wall and charged to 100%.
First and most important, the battery really does last a month – and my camera is triggering about 100x a day on a busy road.
The SD card is in the indoor chime, not the doorbell, so won’t get stolen. My doorbell is screwed to the frame but the sticky strips supplied are also very strong. Stealing this doorbell is no easier than stealing a normal doorbell.
The iPhone app is not great but good enough. I had a problem with the app eating up my phone memory but support always got back to me quickly until it was fixed. The app is great at ringing your phone when someone rings the bell – I’ve read some reviews saying there are delays but I’m guessing they have fixed that because it works fine.
I don’t have a wired doorbell to link the chime to, but the digital chime is good enough just a bit quiet.
Summary – glad I got it and a great buy for the money!
I’ve had previous smart doorbells from Arlo and Eufy. I find the Ezviz doorbell to be the most responsive in terms of motion detection and very quick in delivering notifications via the app which means you can quickly answer a visitor with very very low lag. In comparison, the previous Eufy I had took so long to get notified of a visitor and when you did answer it was always very laggy. I have also been able to tweek the motion detection levels to low where I have next to no false detections at all.
The doorbell works as per the description on the website. Very pleased with the way it works, it was easy to set up and I have been able to connect the separate ringer further away than 5 meters so we can hear the doorbell in the kitchen as well as receiving notifications on our phones. One thing that could be annoying is you receive a notification every time you walk near the doorbell. The recording on the micro-sd card works well so no need to have a subscription.
I have a number of EZVIZ cameras and decided on this instead of the usual Ring type.
Very smooth setup and fitting.
Working well in winter conditions and experiencing exceptional battery life 70% after several months of usage.
Good picture quality and response to internal chime and message alert to phone.
Speaking to postman, no problem.
The data display on the app is different to the other cameras and I’m not keen on it, and the white colour could be a little more subdued, but can live with it.
Fully recommended.
Do read the small print of all the product information before you buy. The camera requires a memory card (quite a large one) you can also try the 7 days free subscription for unlimited cloud storage. I had to use the 7 day subscription as I had trouble with my memory card.
You also can pay extra to have it installed but my BIL who isn’t the best at DIY managed it. It has good motion detection and the image quality is 2K. Download the app for the camera. Up to 4 months battery.
I purchased an Ezviz BC1 wireless security system with x3 cameras and once mounted felt the front door
(whilst covered from a distance by the BC 1 camera) could use enhancement so the logical choice for me was to add the wireless DB2 doorbell system.
There have been several videos on how to install this on You Tube and to be fair I did watch most of them but again because there was no hard copy step by step guide in the box felt these consumer videos were really useful – unless you have a complete lack of any element of common sense , you should really look at these before siting the product.
However, that said it is logical and the only thing you will need is a micro SD card (which for some reason doesn’t want to blooming well format itself) and if you are using any of the angled brackets that it comes with, there are x4 teeny weeny screws that you will need to be very careful with or you will lose them so get a child with nimble fingers to do this bit for you!
Otherwise it fitted right in using the Eziviz app already downloaded for the BC1 system and dings and rings merrily when anything passes its field of vision.
I think I may have to fiddle with the settings a bit to get it to do what I want it to .
Very happy and would happily recommend Eziviz systems mentioned and the customer service is tip top.

I am yet to install this doorbell as I want to wire it with live connection so that I don’t have to charge it. But I did the pairing and test of it (on battery).
The setup process was smooth as the video on Amazon guides very well. I charged the bell beforehand. During my test, the chime was more than 15 metres away from the bell and it worked perfectly. Using the app, I was clearly able to see and speak the party on the other side. The coverage of the camera is also very wide, Amazon says it’s 176′ which is very close or right as per my test. I am planning to install it at a point where the caller would be 4-5 feet away from the bell (after they ring it), and that distance would allow me to clearly see the person.
Build quality of the bell and chime is very good and you get all things you would need to install and use it.
Works well with Alexa plenty of mounting options left right angles. Still laggy like mos
Really happy with this. Great motion detection for human shape so limits false alarms. Really impressed with image quality.
Works fine, there are different quality picture options, for night mode works better if you have a sensor light as well, then the image is perfect. What I don’t like is that I get all the pictures from the busses that go on the road, I can shorten the distance but then as it takes 2 second to take the photo it may not notify and capture the image of someone coming to the door on time. I think this problem would be with other brands as well unless you buy a very expensive doorbell. I am happy with the product and I bought a second one as a present for a relative. I recommend it.
If you have other EZVIZ product. This one installs very quickly and without any fuss. All the other users in your group gets to see this new item immediately.
It has installed and been running for few weeks and already spotted rouge deliver guys.
I recommend this as it gives you added protection and replaces the chime inside the house.
Added security is that memory card is inside the house so safe.
One issue is easy detachable which means easy to steal. However there is tamper proof alert which may be too late if someone steals the bell.
After having to return a wireless doorbell as it used the battery power up in 10/14 we hoped this model would be better. Well amazing usage after 20 days it’s still at 92% battery power and it’s used about 5/10 times a day
This model doesn’t come with a micro set card but we had an 8gb one at home and so far we have all the 2 weeks videos held on it and there still room for more. We like the fact the card is in the chime inside the house and therefore view the clips is on the mains electricity and not the doorbell battery usage. It was a little tricky to get the doorbell to talk to 2 phones and IPads but we got there in the end. Very impressed with the wireless battery doorbell so far and have recommended it to family and friends. It was more money than our previous doorbell but let’s hope it’s the last one we need to buy for many years. .
It now the beginning of May and the battery is just down to 20% so very impressed with battery life of this model.

Devices is good, motion detection good as well
support 16/24 Vac power supply but still can’t find out need fuse or not when use without chimes? and in the app very few setting than other Ezviz product, but overall still is good product
if price can go down is much bette
I really liked this door bell.
It looks very cool on door.
It’s big in size though but still works and looks very well.
Since it’s battery operated I don’t need electricity connection outside also batter lasts upto 4 months..
Quality of the video is really nice and looks very clear.
It is easy to use and Install. We install it at home..
This door bell is not like other bells where you need to buy cloud storage but I can use sd card instead..
Night vision quality is good. I’ll upload images soon..
Signal quality is quite good with inhouse device.
I’ll definitely recommend it..
This EZVIZ 2K Video Doorbell is the first I have ever owned, so I was pleased with how easy it is to set up and operate.
First off, I am rubbish at DIY (my wife says when I do DIY it is Destroy It Yourself), so I was pleased with how easy this was to set up. No complicated wiring etc needed. Just a little bit of drilling was necessary to put the backplate into position to the side of my doorframe. My only very minor criticism is that it requires Micro-USB to recharge the battery, and it is a shame that it doesn’t have USB-C as this is becoming the standard for rechargeable devices. Having used this for nearly a month, the battery is still holding around 70% charge (it is has been used daily I think).
Connecting to wifi was straightforward (my hub is situated close to my front door which made it easier to connect). I am a keen photographer so I have plenty of Micro SD cards, so I hooked up a 128Gb card with the device.
The app has a lot more features than I anticipated. I am using this with Apple devices (currently set up on my iPhone 12) and was pleased with how easy it was to use. I have had other home tech where the apps have been basic or clunky, but not so with this E ZVIZ 2K Video Doorbell.
The picture quality is very good. Crystal clear in the day, and although the IR isn’t the best I have seen, it is certainly good enough. I live in a neighbourhood where we get cats, birds, and even the occasional deer roaming past the house, and the technology is amazing that it ignores those animals, but can differentiate those from humans!
As for the IPX rating, it has survived Storm Arwen last weekend, so I am pretty sure it will survive any British weather!
RRP is 139.99, and currently, at the time of review, it is on a special offer of 99.99 (as it has been reduced to 119.99 and an additional voucher of 20 to be taken off), which I think is very good value. I can therefore highly recommend it to you.
I got this doorbell as well I have always wanted one but haven’t felt the need to then pay for a subscription on top when I have an sd card. This is why I like this doorbell you dont need to have a subscription at all.
Due to it being battery-powered and connecting via WiFi, it requires no wires and is a very simple and easy installation. You can fit it wired if you prefer but that looks a lot more complicated.
You get a backing plate which you can screw to your door frame or front of the house or it comes with adhesive strips, which are quite strong. I would recommend charging it before you use it which takes a couple of hours. Then when charged download the app and connect with Wifi and its done.
Its quite sensitive even when its on the lowest setting but I dont mind its not annoying tbh and its good to know whats happening outside I guess. Its got great picture quality too. Definitely recommend this doorbell
From few wireless video doorbells I had in past I came to conclusion that they usually have glitches and will not be perfect at all times to the full extension.
EZVIZ Is well known brand for smart home, security and life style products and I’d say they definitely do work to high standards and at the same time the build quality of each product can stand and protect the brand name.
I’d like firstly to mention issues of nearly every video doorbell which is delay of notifications, delay of sound, video saving and recording and overall connection. Setting up and having stable connection between internet and doorbell can be tricky and will be hard at some times to set-up. Delay in notifications can be expected, especially as we all use different settings on our phones and right configuration needs to be found in order to get the best out of doorbell. These are some potential issues you could have with any doorbell or wireless setup and not only EZVIZ.
Moving onto build quality, I’d say it is definitely exceptional, durable and with modern style in mind. Quality plastic and generally all components serve as life extension to this set and making sure you will have long life time doorbell is achieved.
There are multiple brackets for doorbell installation of which 3 are to set required angle, up, down, or to side. Screwdriver, charging cable, doorbell removing tool, back foam pad, double sided tape to mount directly to the PVC, plugs and screws are all included in the box so no additional purchases of tools, material or similar is required.
3MP Camera has a decent video quality and to be honest none 2k or 4k doorbell or camera doesn’t seem as 2k or 4k yet it is fit for purpose and video will clearly show you what you need to see. Video to me seems curved when looking at it just like it has a fisheye lens and I believe that is for angle of view to be achieved. When mentioning angle of view, this camera will allow you to see a super wide 176 degree angle which in my opinion is enough for every household.
PIR Motion detection works well and camera nicely catches every movement followed by notification. 2-way sound is of average quality and sounds can be caught clearly from a distance of approx 2-3m.
Overall it is a decent quality and for the content and quality of the build price is reasonable yet I believe many improvements for the better outcome can be done to it.#
It’s simple to set up and use the quality of the camera is good and I love that you get alerts sent to your phone as well as option to have a call to your phone to answer the door, there is two bells goes off first the camera makes a ding and second the plug in in the house goes off too, your phone will also alert you. Overall good quality and easy set up.
Thank you for reading my review I hope you found it helpful.
I am using a 1K camera smart doorbell. So far so good. This Ezciz smart doorbell is equipped with a 2K. Camera which gives a better picture on the App. The setup of the app and the doorbell is simple, in less than 10 minutes ( with quick WiFi settings). I have installed the app in both my Android mobile and iPad, they all work well.
The user manual in the mobile app is bit more professional compared with my existing one. Maybe, it is 2K or I get used to my original doorbell app. Anyway, there are so many different settings you can do. But as a beginner to a smart doorbell, it would be better to give a different levels of user interface for beginners and advanced users.
For the doorbell installation, there are full sets of wall mount , template, screws and wires (for DC power setup in case) and even screwdriver is included. Very good supplier!
Used for around.2 weeks, the battery level had dropped 1/3. So, supposed the battery life last for around 6 weeks which is not impressive, as the doorbell size is a bit bigger than my old bell. After using it for some time, I found a bug in the app:
I could not clear all the events since the app and the doorbell were used. Tried reformat the SD card and used the delete function in the app. Never work!
Besides the SD card is not included in the pack which is a but disappointing as I cannot use it until I bought an SD card to fit in.
I was very interested to try this doorbell out at work as its sonething id thought about acquiring for a while.
It arrives smartly packaged along with everything you need for installation.
The doorbell unit is larger than expected but looks very smart and feels solidly built, its also easy for delivery drivers to spot in our porch area.
The chime is as expected but doesn’t go as loud as I would like.
It works around 4m away from the doorbell.
Instructions are available via a QR code on the packaging and they were clear enough.
After around 4 hrs of charging the doorbell unit I followed these and went through the process of pairing the devices, getting them onto the Wifi and installing the EZVIZ app.
I use a 64Gb memory card as this was what I had to hand, it can take up to a 256Gb card if required.
On the whole this works very well, the camera quality is very good. For instance I can read a van number plate from some distance away.
Even at night the clarity is decent.
The PIR sensor is well judged and detects someone loitering in the area, the sensitivity of this can be adjusted via the app.
The one problem I have is that my mobile doesnt receive a call when the doorbell is rung.
I get a notification so it works and is connected, it just means I have to access the app to see and then talk to whoever is at the door if necessary.
I contacted their customer support and they responded very quickly.
Unfortunately they weren’t able to solve the problem after trying a number of supposed fixes.
So it’s not a deal breaker but it is slightly annoying.
Would I recommend this product? At the current price, yes I would.
It offers excellent value for money compared to the known players such as Ring.
Another major advantage is that it can be used subscription free, who wants to pay a monthly fee for a door bell?!
I hope you find my review helpful.
The motion detection works well on this camera. The uploaded video shows how the camera lights up when a person is in near proximity.
It can be used without a subscription by inserting a sd card, which would allow playback of footage. However, this works best using the cloud subscription. Initially you’re given a free 7 day trial which is obviously set up to show you the benefits of subscribing.
Subscription costs are quite reasonable, the cheapest being for one camera with a 3 day video history:
2.99/month
29.99/year
My experience of using the camera has been mostly positive. There is a problem with the night vision which seems whiter out the face but it’s not too bad & seems to depend on how close you stand to the camera. If you were to look at the video you could find clearer images as you play back the footage from sections where the person is further away.
I think this camera presents good value for money, it is relatively easy to install the app & be up and running in a shot time.
Great quality doorbell camera. Exactly what you want. Well priced. Easy installation. User friendly app. Nice clear to see footage.
This door bell was easy to set up and with the app we can watch and speak to any callers or just observe the general area.
It was very easy to set up and using Alexa I can ask to see the front door area at any time.
I can also get alerts
Easily as good as any of the better known brands
Good Value and Recommended
I’d like to say this is best decision I have ever made hahaha for buying this Ezviz doorbell.
1. The design is very modern and simple, it looks so Cool!
2.I find i can use local storage, I used to use ring, but ring does have cloud storage only.
3. I really like this white battery doorbell, the battery can up to 4 months at least.
When this arrived upon opening the box I was impressed with the quality and look of this doorbell, The door bell itself looks great and impressive when installed.
This was easy to connect up via the app EZVIZ by simply following the instructions given, I instantly started getting notifications that it was detecting me along with a call to my phone with the option of accepting it to be able to chat to the person stood at the door.
The picture and video quality is great and even in the nighttime you can see clearly.
I liked this doorbell compared to previous ones I have owned due to being able to install this without having to wire it up to anywhere, This makes it simple for people to be able to install straight from the box.
As for storage you can insert a up to 256gb memory card or subscribe to the EZVIZ cloudplay for unlimited storage however this does come at an extra charge.
Overall I am very happy with this and feel for the current price of 139.99 this is great value.
Ezviz wireless 2k doorbell
Comes well presented in a premium feeling box well packed and with branding spec info etc
Inside is the camera unit the receiver some plastic mounting brackets and mounting equipment even including a mini screw driver with reversible hex head
Its mostly plastic construction baring internals and socket
You will likely need to read the instructions as I have set others up but needed help here
The QR code was failing to directly take me to the app install so I searched it in play store and installed from there its pretty strait forward
I notice the app had trial info and tries to sell you subscription but it works without though email and wifi are needed to access and use the device
The app is ok the navigation is easy however on my older samsung it crashed several times and restarted the app but notifications are quick it provides 2k resolution footage with live view
Your phone rings like a phone call you can answer or reject or just monitor
The chime also has several chimes and has a SD card slot though ones not included all fixtures and fittings are reasonably well made too with wedge plate and angle plate for diferent angled mounting in your prefered location
It works with Alexa and google home automatic PIR sensor so even a hand passing in the dark you will be allerted to be honest it doesnt quite seem as smooth as my current one but is just as responsive and clear and cost almost half of the price with voice command which mine does not for the price i think its impressive and the app will be updated in due course to iron out any issues reported a reasonable option in my opinio
Im very satisfied with the quality of this video doorbell.
Wasnt excally expecting that qality will be so great.
And its does have excellent video and picture quality.
At day and night is clear picture, all can be seen.
Dont take long to install it. The best thing for me is a clear picture and rechargable batteries.
wifi chime was also included in package.
Overall, Im very please with this product.
And surely can recommend it to all.
I got this video doorbell with the aim of using the two-way talk feature to communicate with people at the doorstep. The unit feels solid & weighty, making it more durable!
Due to it being battery-powered and connecting via WiFi, it requires no wires and is a very simple and easy installation. Simply fix the device in place, download the app and connect up to your WiFi network. Once done you can connect to the doorbells video stream from anywhere in the world, view saved footage and change settings. You can talk through your phone and the doorbell to whoever is at the door and you can set up motion alerts to be notified even when someone doesn’t ring the doorbell. The battery should last up to 4 months before needing charging.
As a video doorbell, it records decent quality footage and the two-way audio works well, with only a 1-second delay. The chime itself works fine.
Motion detection is good & the sensitivity is adjustable, only picking up people in the frame, not being triggered by a bird flying by, or a cat walking past prevents unwanted recordings & notifications, nothing worse than your phone going off all day making you think there’s a prowler when all it is is a small animal!
You can insert a microSD card (up to 256GB) into chime to save your recordings. There is an option to subscribe to EZVIZ CloudPlay for unlimited storage space and an additional layer of data protection.
Overall I’m pleased with my first foray into wireless camera doorbells.
Well packaged — easy to install and Register on EZVIZ app. It just prompts for a user name and password and your home wi-fi details. It took a few hours to charge up from a standard usb charger and should last up to 3 months on a charge (according to the literature).
The backing plate fixed to my door frame easily with the supplied screws, and was slightly larger then the old unit it replaced, so it covered the previous holes which was handy.
The unit clicks into place securely and can be removed only by using the supplied pin (this looks like a standard mobile phone pin for removing a sim, so this could also used, if you lose the original). There is also a tamper mode which can be set to trigger an alarm if the unit is removed without your knownledge.
I though it looked quite good in place, but probably helped I had a white doorframe.
The door unit has connectors to link to any existing chime you might have from a previous doorbell, but I set it up standalone and linked to the supplied wireless chime unit.
It offered free cloud storage trail but I declined and went with the micro sd card option which just clicks into the chime unit. It can take up to 256gb, I used a 32gb one I had handy.
Initial picture quality seems good, even in a particularly dark porch
And the IR night vison is still quite clear in the porch area.
Still playing with the app features, but happy so far.
I liked the ‘loiter’ mode, if you set this up the app will ping you if it detects people close to the camera, even if there is no bell press. The trigger time is configurable in the app from 1s up to 15s.
The best feature for me was linking to Alexa via the EZVIZ Alexa skill. We have multiple Alexa devices throughout the house and in the garden office. All (or any sub-set) of these can be enabled as extra chimes for the doorbell.
You also have the option for the doorbell to ‘ring’ your phone app when it’s pressed, enabling you to see and have a conversation with whoever is at the door. I think this might only be useful when you are away from home as it can be quite annoying otherwise, but is a nice option and can be switched on and off as required. You can always choose to talk through the doorbell at any time via the talk button in the app.
The only slight downside I found was the placement of the chime unit. It needs to be as close to the doorbell as possible, which may not be where your best wi-fi signal is. But after trying a few options I got it to work fine.
I noticed that the charge on my unit has gone down to 94% after 3 days, which I thought wasn’t too bad given its had extensive use over the first few days, mainly from the kids playing with it. You do get a warning that using the live view mode too much will reduce the battery life. The battery status is displayed clearly in the app so you can see in plenty of time when it needs charging again.
Overall I think this is a good value product for the price, especially as it can run standalone without any need for a subscription service.
