This is my fourth of this make and the second of the model, works well, great at night, it doesn’t miss anything coming up or down the drive, ok it mostly the post man or me but isn’t this what its supposed to do, all so the led flashing on activation just might deter any would be thief, sd card allows the system to become subscription free which is how it should be, app controls works well for me.

Mine is at roof height and motion detection is slow to catch on. Images are very good for the price and the rotation isn’t too slow for a budget cam. I watch it on iPhone iPad and laptop with ease. And the night vision is like daytime camming but in black and white.
Had a bit of a faf to get this installed but once up and running it is very good quality motion detection is very good the alarm is nice and loud and the night vision is superb
Great camera, the colour night vision is ok (colours aren’t amazing but it’s not a problem) the new human shape motion detection is fantastic, no more weather setting off alerts. I can pick up a person if they are only in shot for a second very impressed! The microphone is super sensitive it can pick up people talking at a distance. Easy to set up, mine is wired so haven’t tested the WiFi strength. I am going to buy another for the front on my home its that good 🙂
I have bought one of these the week before from B &Q and when I saw the price I jumped at the chance to get the same camera for a reduced price. However when I open the product I noticed there wasn’t a extension cable that extended the power connection like the one I had before. Disappointed
To the camera for some reason they seem to attract flies and have noticed they seem to like the device need to investigate further as the flies trip off the camera so possibly need to adjust the settings.
A really good piece of security equipment and at a really affordable price. When bought you need to make sure the SD card works with the camera . The first one I bought was 256 Gb and the camera couldn’t initialise it . So I bought a Sandisk 128Gb Ultra card and that worked well with the camera no problem .
Really like this ezviz C8C CCTV pan and tilt camera. Picture quality is really good, night vision also. I also own another 2 ezviz cameras so wanted to keep the same make to only use 1 app, couldn’t be bothered to have multiple apps. The pan and tilt is fab, you can move it just shy of 360, then have to rotate the opposite way. Has a light function when it detects a person, but there is no light for a permanent fix of staying on. There is no 2 way speaking on this, but you can have sound and hear people. The app features are ok, has many options to do different things, ezviz could also upgrade there app to add different features so it could improve. The only negative I have is the lead wire connection from the camera is not long enough, there is also a UK plug wire that connect together, but the wire from the camera just barely went through my external wall where I had to drill a hole to connect it all up, it is just shy of 1m I think, it could be a little less than this, but I can’t measure anymore as the device is now set up, it’s needs to be at least 1.5m I think would be best. The UK plug side connector is around 2 metres. Overall I like the camera, I’m thinking of buying another for the side of the house.

I have a Ring doorbell on the front and back doors but they let me down so many times in letting me know people are at the door i decided to get better cameras… These do a lot better job and i mean a lot better…
I have no trust in my Ring Doorbells anymore and i will replace them with Ezviz when i can afford it…
Ezviz shamefully put Ring in their place.. buy these cameras instead and have peace of mind that they will inform you of someone on your property..
So simple to install, reliable Wifi connection from anywhere in the country,Only mains connection wire needed and a smart phone, extremely clear picture, easy to replay motion detection and record any important footage, east to transfer recorded footage to email/ sharing platforms, good wide angle coverage with capability to zoom in and no need for cloud use expenditure as can accomodate substantial micro-disc size, I’ve invested in CCTV systems for home security for many years with big cameras ,big recording unit and wires everywhere which were difficult to install and difficult to retrieve footage, these cameras are better in all levels in comparison.
This is a very fantastic Security Camera. On the android app it does exactly what you command it to do. It picks up even the weakest of wifi and up in the mountains where I live it can stand up to all kinds of weather without any glitches. I own many EZVIZ cameras for many years now and I never had any problems with them.
This camera moves sideways at 352 and moves up and down at 95 plus it gets better with new updates such as motion tracking option and many other great features, definitely the best camera for the price..superb
I also purchased a 128gb memory card to go in it. Don’t try putting a bigger one in despite what the advertising says, as it won’t work.
It was easy to set up having downloaded the instruction manual from the website and the app from the App Store. Linking the app and the camera was a doddle, just point your phone at the squiggly image in the instructions and hey presto, it’s linked. Likewise with the Wi-Fi link, just follow the screen instructions and input your Wi-Fi password and you are there.
I would have given 5 stars but I have deducted one star because of the ridiculously short length of the electrical lead. I mounted the camera on the ceiling of the outside porch and the lead would not even reach the socket 8 feet directly below. So I had to purchase an additional extension lead. Just something I shouldn’t have had to do.
It works well on Wi-Fi so I had no need to cable. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend especially if you can get on this special promotion.
First impressions are that its very well made and put together.
Instructions were very clear and precise and set up was very easy and straightforward.
So far I’m impressed. Daytime picture quality is spot on. The night vision maybe isn’t as good as my old camera was, I’m not sure if the camera reverts to black and white. I know the camera has Infra Red mode and has night vision up to 30m. I’m not sure if the camera is reverting to night mode as my Christmas lights are maybe preventing it from doing so. But either way, I can see everything that I need to see.
I’ve opted to go with the memory card storage rather than cloud. It all works as it should. Play back plays no problem.
I’m impressed so far. So much so I bought another for the rear of my house.
My only criticism would be that the power cable is short. I would recommend buying a 12v adapter extension. You can buy them up to 20m long.
I wish it could have a microphone as well, otherwise is really good.

Installed on garage, noticed that at night IR lights make car number plates unreadable as they show up brilliant white. (previous camera did not have this issue ucam 247). Night vision is clear and person detection works well. Camera switches to colour on detecting a person by using two spot light LEDs. Daytime vision is as expected with no issues. Recording to SD card works well and is easy to navigate.
So far camera only triggers alarm on person detection. Camera is secure as is the app it uses, with video encryption and two factor authentication. Sharing to another device can take several hours before recipient gets the invite. Not using WIFI as have LAN connection in Garage. NB this camera takes a maximum SD card size of 128GB.
This is a decent mid range camera with a bunch of useful features.

iOS integration is also good, with notifications, real-time streaming and also ability to store past videos on a micro-SD card if you don’t want to sign up for the (paid) cloud storage subscription. The port for the SD card is a bit fiddly but it does work once you get it in!
A very useful thing is to be able to limit movement detection for notifications to an irregularly shaped area so that you can exclude high traffic/low interest parts of the scene. This cuts down on “false” notifications immensely.
A minor niggle is that this does not affect the recording of movement. ie the camera still records any and and all movement detected in the full scene, so can end up with a lot of footage e.g if you cannot fully exclude road traffic from the scene. It would be useful if you could limit recording the same way as you can limit notifications. This really is a minor thing though, and should not detract from the overall 5 star rating this camera deserves.
Easy to install and connect to the wifi, the app works really well, does connect to Alexa (if you turn video encryption off first), seems to survive the wind and rain pretty well.
It has a couple of downsides – it comes with a power lead and Ethernet socket on the camera, so if you want to hide the wires or put them through a wall you will need a pretty large diameter hole; I ended up cutting the Ethernet socket off and remaking the power wires. The second downside is the power lead isn’t very long, so I had to extend the power lead (on the camera side as it happens, made easier by the fact that I’d cut the Ethernet socket off) before running it into the house and to the wall outlet.
The motion detection works, but goes off a lot during the rain which can be slightly annoying. I’ve set mine to only alert me during bedtime hours.
Overall for the price, it’s darn good. I would recommend it highly. I’m also looking at purchasing another one for the back of the house, and maybe a rotating one for the side.

Great value for money.
This is a good quality budget camera. Person detection is excellent, and the night vision is the best I’ve seen. Ok so you’re not going to see face details at 50m at night, but at least the camera picks up the slightest movement even at that range, and at night. It even has RTSP capability if you need to connect to your own software/NVR. The only two negatives for me are the ezviz software why do they never make software that works in landscape on a tablet? And also being an outdoor camera the power lead is much too short at only 1.5m. Ok so the connections are standard and you can buy generic 12v DC extension cables, but should be longer. One feature I was surprised at is the ethernet capability if you don’t want wifi. Overall, I would recommend this camera.

Excellent picture and detection of humans. Night vision is clear and crisp and can be in colour. So good that I got one for a friend. Just need to find out how to use it with my NVR.
Simple set up but the power cable is too short. 9/10 people will require an extension cable. Picture quality is excellent although when zooming in on people the image quality significantly deteriorates. The most disappointing feature for me is the lack of a pdf file or instruction manual to explain all the features and what they mean. The camera motion is controlled via the app on your phone and I’ve found this to work really well. The video library on the app is a little sluggish but works.
This camera does everything you need, good to know that you can move position anytime if needed through the app. Great picture quality day or night. Top quality for a good price. 10/10 from me.

This is the second time I’ve purchased an ezviz camera. Purchased this one as an update. It’s been on the wall for a number of months and works well. Picture quality is good. It has the feel of a well made product.
This is amazingly good. 256GB works. The picture quality is very clear for 1080p. You can use AI human detection and line crossing simultaneously like a professional camera. Detection is accurate. Mine is set to level 4 (low). You will not be dissapointed, build quality is robust and feels heavy, feels like good quality. Absolutely deserves 5 stars. Dont believe nonsense.

My only complaint would be that if I have to reset the camera I have to get up a ladder to remove the baseplate to access the reset button, if the reset button had been placed on the outside it would have made life so much easier.
I would also recommend that you connect to 2.4ghz wi-fi if your walls are any way thick as the 5ghz Wi-Fi will keep dropping and you will have to keep resetting

This camera really impress me a lot, amazing quality and really affordable and monthly cloud subscription is also cheap, After my Logi circle2 camera broke down I tried other camera’s, I tried ring camera, reolink, swann and they promise to delivery 1080p quality but not even close than I tried Arlo amazing quality but found out it would need base and monthly subscription costly fortune overall than I tried logi view and it would need the apple tv or homepod as a base too.
Picture quality is good. Just that you was hoping to capture the car reg but it wasn’t good enough also it would be better if it was mains powered instead of the adapter as the length was not long enough.
I can’t comment on the cloud storage options as I opted for a 64gb SanDisk Max endurance card instead. This allows up to 30,000 hours of recording and is specifically designed for cctv and dash cams due to the amount of overwriting that usually wears out a standard micro SD card.
Once installed the camera was very easy to configure. There are multiple detection options including zone detection, line crossing, AI vehicle and person detection. There is a colour night vision mode that is incredibly clear, but if you prefer you can change to a standard black and white mode using the built in IR’s. I’ve conducted multiple tests and the detection sensitivity is spot on (this can be adjusted in the app). You get all of the features without having to subscribe, so for me this was a great option. Once a detection has been made an alert comes through on my phone with an image, from there you can click on the playback option to review the video footage. It is also possible to zoom in on the footage and the resolution is sufficient to read number plates, although it is a shame it isn’t 4k resolution but still great. You can then save images or the video on your device if needed.
There are additional options to have sound activate and a speaker to allow you to speak to someone such as a delivery driver. There is also a siren and strobe light, which can be triggered during certain events.
Overall I have been really impressed with this camera. Once installed it looks descreet and for the price it is a great camera for domestic properties. EZVIZ also offer doorbells and internal cameras should you wish to expand further and the app is very intuitive.

After having used this camera at the front of my house for 6 months with on average 10-20 detections a day, I still haven’t used all of the 65GB space on the SD card, so this is a great option alongside the camera.
During this time there have been a couple of firmware updates which have improved stability and so far I continue to be impressed with this camera under all conditions.

I had been waiting for Ezviz to bring out a pan and tilt camera as I didn’t want to get another make as that would mean another app!
The camera looks well made although the bracket is made out of plastic. I don’t think this will be a problem and it makes the unit lighter.
Picture quality is very good and you can zoom by using your fingers on a mobile phone.
There were a couple of annoying things which meant I docked it a star. The first was that you are meant to scan a QR code to get more in depth instructions. When I scanned the code it said that the instructions were not ready yet! This was not a big problem as I knew roughly what I was doing but they should have sorted this out by now.
Secondly, I wish that they would supply a blank cap for the ethernet cable if you are not using it. I attached and ethernet cable and because it had a moulded end it wouldn’t fit properly in the casing.
All in all I am very happy with the camera and would buy it again.

This is the third camera I have tried, it has a great panorama which covers the whole drive and the picture I have posted is the night vision which as you can see is absolutely brilliant, would definitely recommend this camera.

Clever camera. It can transform pitch black into amazing COLOUR quality, with app activated instant alarm or scheduled armed loud alarm if needed. This is like no other camera in its class.

These cameras are easy to install, in my case the only thing I needed extra was a waterproof electrical box to ensure the camera connection to the power cable was not exposed. Setup is made simple via the EZVIZ app and once set up all changes are done via the app. The image quality both day and night is very good, especially at night with the infra red lighting. Audio recording is especially impressive as it can pick up sounds from 50+ metres, and it also records not just movement but also appears to be triggered on sound as well (not an advertised feature). Human detection AI works best up to 5m, beyond that you have to rely on the motion detection feature.
Remote access works well, I use a Wi-fi extender to ensure the Wi-fi signal is as strong as possible to ensure reliability. For an everyday, home camera setup, this is ideal.

If phones are unlocked the notifications come through immediately. I am currently discussing this issue with their support team.

If phones are unlocked the notifications come through immediately. I am currently discussing this issue with their support team.
Great camera, underestimated! It should get more reviews! I had an igeek which I returned and I bought this instead.
UPDATE: I was struggling to link with my firestick and Echo show. Kept getting the “camera is in sleep mode” failure. To get this to work go on the camera settings and turn off image encryption, then it works like a charm!
Having read lots of reviews and watched most of YouTube I went for this camera. I do not need a camera for motion detection as I already have a ring system for that. So the over enthusiastic notifications about movement I just turned off. I was looking for a HD camera that would record 24/7 and this is perfect for that. Loads instantly whereas the ring sometimes won’t load at all!
Good picture quality, easy setup, nice wide angle of camera view. The negative, are too many motion detection false positives for sudden change of daylight (sunny/cloudy). Even with lowest sensitivity. Can this be fixed with new firmware?
Also not able to view image using Google home, even if claimed it can be connected. It can, but no imagery will come through.
Easy to install, luckily I only had to drill for the 3 holes to mount the camera as the power lead fitter through the air vent into the house. I cut the Ethernet cable off as I wouldn’t be using it and it wouldn’t fit through the hole. Excellent set up via the app, connected the WiFi quickly and easily. I love the option of “At home” and “Leaving home” meaning the setting automatically change when you leave the house (motion sensitivity steps up a gear). Siren is also a great feature, I wouldn’t use it because the camera is at the front of the house but excellent option for when we’re away from the house. Overall EXCELLENT product!

> Cable – the option to use PoE is great but the size of the plug and the two plugs on the one cable makes installation a bit more tricky than it could be

Bought this security camera to replace an amcrest one which packed up after 2 years. It’s very easy to set up through WiFi. The picture quality is great and the sound is quite good as well. The app is good once you get used to it and the data can be saved to micro sd card or cloud storage or both. The cloud storage cost 4.99 a month for 7 day loop recording, which is cheaper than a lot of others out there. All in all a very good camera for the price.
