Reliable
My third ezviz, they all work on the same app, so can check all areas in one viewing. Easy to set up, very satisfied. I would not buy any other brand.
Mostly excelle
This camera is very useful, especially if you have a few EZVIZ cameras so they can all be visualised through the app. Supports RTSP protocol and very easy to get connected, although make sure to take a picture of the information label on the camera before you install it, as you’ll need to pop back up otherwise. The motion detection generally isn’t great, but the smart human detection can be good when someone is close to the camera. Probably fixable with a software update but camera quality is great for the price
Good value and excellent camera
The price for the quality is very good. Never had a problem with set up or the app. Remember it’s 2.4 WiFi usage some wireless router come with it switched off make sure it on. I have a total of 8 cameras 2 of which are inside the home so I can watch my wife laying on the sofa eating snacks and watching TV whilst I am out working 7 days a week.

OK I GUESS
Was easy to install but app is awkward to understand. Night vision pic is clear though. Motion detection is too sensitive even on low. And app notifications seem to be 10-15mins after Motion has been detected.

This is the second Ezviz camera i have bought…
I have a Ring doorbell on the front and back doors but they let me down so many times in letting me know people are at the door i decided to get better cameras… These do a lot better job and i mean a lot better…
I have no trust in my Ring Doorbells anymore and i will replace them with Ezviz when i can afford it…
Ezviz shamefully put Ring in their place.. buy these cameras instead and have peace of mind that they will inform you of someone on your property..
difficult to buy bette
So simple to install, reliable Wifi connection from anywhere in the country,Only mains connection wire needed and a smart phone, extremely clear picture, easy to replay motion detection and record any important footage, east to transfer recorded footage to email/ sharing platforms, good wide angle coverage with capability to zoom in and no need for cloud use expenditure as can accomodate substantial micro-disc size, I’ve invested in CCTV systems for home security for many years with big cameras ,big recording unit and wires everywhere which were difficult to install and difficult to retrieve footage, these cameras are better in all levels in comparison.

Works really well. Only criticism is that it detects rain as motion so can record lots of unnecessary video.
Nice little camera but…….
Lovely bit of kit easy to install and pictures fine for the price! Down side is the power cable is ridiculous!!!! Such a small cable not even fit for purpose. The motion detector is very sensitive constantly notifying me every 2seconds when there’s nothing around or any bloody movement outside! Tried repositioning it and different angles but still constant notifications.

The app and the camera are working well so far. But there are a few caveats. The WiFi is only available through the 2.4GHz range. The motion detection is VERY sensitive – not necessarily a bad thing but in a garden the wind moving through plants trees and leaves needs to be modified to a low setting to stop spurious notifications. The monitored area can also modified to eliminate problem areas too. The most harsh criticism is the 12v power adapter required to feed the device, this is NOT designed for outdoor use and requires its own enclosure. Something to bare in mind when setting up half way down the garden ! If your set up allows a drilled hole into a room in your house and you’re installing on an outside wall this is straight forward. If your installing away from an indoor mains supply you’ll need a qualified electrician !
beware of the cable lenght!
All around very good but the power cable is very short approx 1m. Really should be a few meters to get the placement you really need.
Great picture quality
For the price top camera!! Ideal for what I wanted covered the drive with 2 cars on it and2 days later bought another to cover the rear door/conservatory/ deck. As I was so impressed with the first one Good thorough app that just takes a bit to get used to ( or at least it does for someone top side of 50. A millennial offspring useful in the circs as there are a number of settings to get used to.Brilliant picture quality with the added bonus of audio to speak to visitors etc. SD card bought with it so, no subscription to cloud services. You can turn notifications on or off with one tap on the Home Screen and the sleep function is good so your not filling up the Sd card while you make a fool of yourself at a bbq.
The only criticism would be the power cord is a bit short as by the time you have mounted the camera drilled through the wall to an available socket 1.5m does not go far. But a five quid 9v extension easily sorts that. Definitely on the whole 5stars
Excellent picture quality and multi arming options
My only complaint would be that if I have to reset the camera I have to get up a ladder to remove the baseplate to access the reset button, if the reset button had been placed on the outside it would have made life so much easier.
I would also recommend that you connect to 2.4ghz wi-fi if your walls are any way thick as the 5ghz Wi-Fi will keep dropping and you will have to keep resetting

C8C Great camera, but unlike their internal PTZ camera this one does not have motion tracking which I’m disappointed about, otherwise same quality as their other cameras’.

Good value and links well to Google home system.
Yet to fully test the night vision but day capture clear and good zoom. Nice and easy to link to google home and nice to view of the tablet. Got whilst on offer so good value for money. Supporting software is alright, but could be more user friendly. Overall, happy and will buy another when on sale.

This camera says it is alexa compatible but everytime you go onto the alexa app the camera says it is asleep when it’s not

The cameras were easy enough to install & & set up with my phone & Alexa Ultra HD is great but perhaps a bit over the top in daylight. The HD is in my opinion good enough to suit most needs. The sounds surrounding the area being protected are very clear. The speaker & alarm works well

First Security Camera
This review is mainly about the set up of the camera. I was impressed with ease of set up of this, only thing I had to ‘google’ was getting my Alexa shows to see the picture from the camera. You have to turn of ‘Image Encryption’ in the settings of the EZVIZ app. I have installed the Micro SD card to save monthly fees. Loved the little touch of the ‘template sticker’ to help you drill the holes for the camera. This is my first security camera and I am impressed, need to save up for the doorbell now.

Great little security camera for the price
Really impressed with the quality of the camera for the price. Bought 2 – one for the front and one for the back. My only criticism is the length of lead supplied. We had to buy an extension cable for both cameras.

Motion detection is great, if anything it’s a bit too good.. it records anything and everything that moves, even rain/snow/flies/dust.
Pretty easy to assemble although I ended up purchasing the cloud storage. Not too bothered because it’s piece of mind at the end of the day for less than 5 a month.
Downside is I don’t get notifications when it picks something up.. could be a blessing because it does pick up so much but I’ve missed some things that I could have done with seeing ie missed deliveries when I haven’t heard the door.
Given that, it’s a great little camera with great quality.. I just need my husband to attach it to the wall now instead of resting in a plant pot!!

If using the motion sensor notification setting you’ll definitely need to custom the sensitivity: it’s super sensitive which is a credit to the camera/app but a tree is moving in the wind it can cause multiple false alarms without adjusting the sensitivity.

Motion detection is very poor. Alerts all the time even when not in the selected area. Night vision is clear from a distance but you’ve no chance of identifying anyone. Picture quality and setup overall average.

To sensitive
These cams will drive your phone crazy if you put in a garden. Even with sensitivity at 1 it still alarms if a flower moves, or catches a car light!
Motion detection too sensitive.
Very well built and Easy to install, setting up the App is also easy. Image quality is very good, nice and clear and audio on videos is clear.(Both day and Night). My only gripe with this camera is the motion detection, while it’s very good at detecting movement, its also where it let’s itself down as it detects every thing from people to bugs, rain, snow the lot, I’ve had to turn the alert notifications off as my phone is constantly going bleeping. Also the power cable from the back of camera is quite short, so an power cable extension maybe needed.
Fantastic clarity
UPDATE: I was struggling to link with my firestick and Echo show. Kept getting the “camera is in sleep mode” failure. To get this to work go on the camera settings and turn off image encryption, then it works like a charm!
Having read lots of reviews and watched most of YouTube I went for this camera. I do not need a camera for motion detection as I already have a ring system for that. So the over enthusiastic notifications about movement I just turned off. I was looking for a HD camera that would record 24/7 and this is perfect for that. Loads instantly whereas the ring sometimes won’t load at all!
first unit was faulty, replacement works fine needs strong Wi-Fi
After receiving a faulty unit first time, amazon refunded payment and i ordered another. This one is fine. You need strong Wi-Fi for consistent picture and connection. Bought Wi-Fi extender from Amazon and appears to be working fine now

Excellent camera with good night vision. I used a wired connection and it has produced a stable picture. Highly recommended.
