in the hot weather in the summer 2022 we got these so we can open our sash windows without our house cat, Rosie, being able to escape. They are great, and easy to use. Did the job brilliantly.
Absolutely great product and a life saver for the past hot summer days. We could leave our windows open without worrying about the unwelcome insects to get inside. The fresh air could easily circulate around the house and made it cooler during hot summer days. A good value for money. I highly recommend them.

Sturdy and easy enough to install and remove daily on ground floor. Very effective for bugs so far and looks unobtrusive.
Seems to be ideal for fitting under or over a sash type window. Too chilly to check in position yet but come the warmer days, it should be a real boon to having fresh air in the house without the usual invasion of flies and wasps.

I’d been searching for something like this for a while. We have sash windows and like to sleep with the window open but the insects entering the bedroom in the summer months had been terrible. This has been the perfect solution. We only needed one so a single pack rather than 2 would been more economical the only slight moan. Feels sturdy enough but at least we have a spare. Easy enough to fit and does the job!
We have sash windows and a daughter with a bug phobia so now we can have fresh air in the house without screams. Brilliant idea and easy to fit, no sticking up Velcro screens. The only addition to the wish list would be if they make one half the height as we don’t always want such a big gap and it would allow the security locks on the sash to still work. Very pleased though!
After years of sleeping with a fan on, I googled and saw this on Amazon. Now I can sleep bug free and fresh air flow throughout bedroom. Fits my sash window, hear nature outside and not noise of my reliable fan. Savings at last on energy bills!
I was skeptical at first about getting these, given that while almost all reviews were positive, there weren’t many! I can say with certainty that I am happy with this so far! They slot damn near perfectly for our grade 2 listed windows (been there since early 1900s) and once set in place are sturdy and don’t really budge when knocking them! Great for the indoor cats in summer! And to keep the ever lurking insects out 🙂
These are brilliant, I wasn’t sure they’d work on our windows as they are tilt windows. Fit perfect we just use a tension rod behind at the bottom for extra secure ness. The window holds the screen in place at the top..we’ve pushed hard on them and no way will they fall out, or the cars push them out. Love the fact they slide open sideways too. Sturdy and perfect for us keeping the cats safe as we are 3 flats high. Value for money as I was going to get flat cats but no need for sticky velcro with these, think these are better. 5 *****

Very sturdy and well made. It is slightly bigger than I measured by a few mm. It states 38cm and my window was just over this yet It doesn’t quite fit unless I wedge it.
Saying that, it’s very easy to use, looks good and doesn’t look cheap
Very pleased with these mesh window fly protectors. I fitted them horizontally so they are a sash opening. I added magnetic tape to keep you them in place and for easy removal when the window is closed. Good product.

I bought a pack of 2 midium size, they are very well made and I really like them.
Now I wish I can buy 1 large and 1 small so that to use in winter & summer. 🙂
It was easy to install, it’s so much better than the previous screen I had as I don’t need to use stickers or damage my windows doing so because these are easily attached and stay stable. I just had to insert and adjust it to the width of my window. They don’t weigh like others so it wasn’t difficult to install without help and it feels good quality so I think it will have good durability.
The only thing I’d change for the white ones is the colour of the corners, as the corner joints are black. They’d be much nicer if they were white instead of black.
These work great in my windows, they fit nicely and allow me to keep windows open all summer without any bugs coming inside
These work well on our windows that slide up and down. Open the window wide, put the screen in, expand it to fit the sides, close window until it is on top of the screen. Easy to remove and set aside.
Although I live on the 3td floor I used to get squirrels, pidgeons and flys coming in. A neighbour found them and recommended them to me although it lets in fresh air none of the above are visiting it takes less than a minute to put in the window, I have thatch windows
Simple to use and effective, saved us from flies and wasps throughout the Summer and moths in September.
This is incredibly handy. I have a very curious norwegian forest cat who would quite happily somersault out of the window if this were not in his way.
I have purchased a few different brands of window screens over the years and this one is the best by far! Top quality, excellent fit, nice slide on the expansion. Overall this is a 5 Star product. I rarely write reviews, but this product deserves praise.
Perfect for sash windows. They can be a bit too light and sometimes collapse slightly accidentally as you move the window, but once you have them set they do the job without issues. Be careful they may be blown away if not set properly!
Works well for our wooden sash windows. Bear in mind that unless the window frame is perfectly straight/flat you may have very small gaps around the frame of this which slightly defeats the object, but cannot fault the item itself.
During summer I keep my bedroom window open over night and usually get eaten alive by bugs, I didnt want to be sticking velcro all around my window frames but with these I can just wedge them in the window opening and then done. They stay in place and the mesh is fine enough to stop even the smallest bug while still letting light in.

These are great and do what I wanted them to do. It’s a simple temporary solution on the hot days to prevent bugs and flys coming into the house. I wouldn’t mind a similar long term fix slot in fix with the ability to slide them open and closed.
This twin pack of window screens is manufactured well, the combination of lightweight frames and fine mesh makes them easy to fit and remove in seconds, and they even provide a reasonable amount of sunshade once in place. Of course the real benefit of the screens is allowing fresh air into the room, along with keeping out all those pesky flies which appear from nowhere in a blink of an eye once you open the window.
A price of 43.59 for the large size (50cm height x 71cm-137cm width) seems a little expensive, however, the overall quality is good, the mesh certainly appears to be durable, and the screens can fit a variety of windows and doors, which makes them quite versatile.
It is the best thing I bought in years. No more living subjects coming into my flat that I did not invite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better than I thought it was going to be. Use them in 4 windows and do not remove them all summer.
Im really disappointed, but not by the product but in myself as I got the wrong size for my windows, they are a few inches short, I had not accounted for the recess of window where the frame is placed.
They are so easy to fit, open window, place in recess at side of window and pull window down again. I have net curtains at minute which are ok but even if there is a little breeze they often billow up and the odd annoying fly gets in. I thought I had the perfect solution and it almost was.
I had been a little concerned that they would be wobbly and dangerous if fell as I have a upstairs flat but from what I have seen of them in place even with the few inches short I would be confident they will remain in place well. The fit in the side of frame, slide across to other side and the window then closes down for extra security to hold firm.
The frame itself is white and would fit in well with my sash windows but alas it was not to be. They do feel like they would let the air in well and ventilate the room as well as keeping the pests out. A practical solution that doesn’t look out of place.
I think these screens are for sash windows rather than standard upvc because I couldn’t get them to fit any of my windows. I could be doing something completely wrong but I do suspect they’re for sash only.
The frames are good quality though and the two pieces clip together so you can open one of them.
On the edges is draught excluder so you won’t get draughts.
I’ve rated the screens on the quality but I can’t comment on fit because they don’t but I’ll find someone who has sash windows and get an opinion.
They seem well made too.
Certainly beats sticking velcro strips around my frames which has slowly destroyed them… and the netting always got a bit grubby and mouldy.
So all in all I’m happy! But my frames are about 100 years old and made of iron so not a standard size… which is usually a pain!
They are great screens. And fit my windows They have that felt around the whole screen. These are great. I would definitely buy it again if I need it. I would definitely recommend these screens. it’s spring! I wanted an easy and inexpensive way to let some outside air in and these are perfect for what I wanted. Right out of the package you can use them horizontally, but it did take me a bit of time to figure out how to change the configuration to be taller. I am extremely challenged when it comes to spatial reasoning. I like how easy these are to use right away, though. It’s nice to have some fresh air minus the bugs :)There is a strip of fuzzy insulation on top and bottom, they glide easily and are sturdy lets in the fresh air, keeps out the bugs and doesn’t rattle or move about when the window is pulled down onto it to hold it steady. My only suggestion would be to add a little knob or handle on one of the sides so it doesn’t fall out onto the ground when you push the window back up to disengage it.
This will only work with sash windows or windows which slide to leave a void. The are brilliant and feel very secure. Not sure how to adjust them as they work for me as they are.
Got this for master bedroom window and it fits really well. Vell made and can fit into many types of windows. You can partially open this window screen. Best way to get fresh air and keep bugs out from room. Mesh is made of flame and heat resistant material. Very easy to fit, no screws or tools needed.
The one I’ve got is Lare and is 20″x28″ and can be expand upto 54″.
