Good pet door both cat and dog can use it. It’s a bit flimsy so I don’t know how’s long it will last.

Great price good colour for external brick work plus great door operation our cat uses it no problems. I used mastic to stick it to the external wall and give it a good weatherproof seal. I also put a wood and plastic step in to make it easier for cat to come and go.
Easy to install and both cats in and out all day
Overall happy. Paid almost 300 for a professional glazier to put this in our glass patio door. Fierce winds will cause the flap to blow open but it’s not a frequent issue. A bit worried about winter though! We have had the flap since March so I can’t say anything about freezing cold drafts (“draughts” (UK)). We are in Brighton UK where it gets windy. Our dog is six months old in the photos and video, I’m pretty sure it will accommodate her when full grown. It gives a loud SMACK noise when opening and closing. But given everything I said, it’s a great investment for HOUSETRAINING. We cut several weeks / months off of that process because she can come and go freely. Pro tip: have an old towel ready for little miss Muddy Paws!

he swing 11 does not come with an indicator to tell which way pet has gone. description says it does.
Very good items. Have 2 inner and outside door. Although the draught flap can be a big flimsy, and prone to breaking. They are still the best we have purchased over the years. Although not used by the cat, it is used by our cocker spaniel. And not the cheapes
Mes chats sont plutt grands et je craignais que la chatire soit trop petite mais tout va bien, mme pour le plus gros qui est crois main coon et fait plus de 6kg.
Niveau bruit, c’est franchement acceptable, un petit clac chaque passage. Pour moi c’est mme apprciable car a me permettra de savoir qu’un chat est rentr.
La porte tient bien en place et n’est pas trop difficile utiliser. Je pensais que l’un de mes chats qui n’aime pas forcer les portes aurait d mal mais il a compris trs vite et l’utiliser dans problme. Par contre, pour tous, j’ai pris un petit moment pour leur montrer le fonctionnement et ils ont compris trs vite.
Petite ombre au tableau, l’installation prend un peu de temps et nous avons eu besoin d’tre deux pour que les deux morceaux tombent bien en face. De plus, la visserie n’est pas bien adapte (vis trop courtes ou trop longues), on a du bricoler un peu pour que a tienne correctement. Mais une fois en place, a tient bien.
Edit : aprs qq semaines d’utilisation, le bas de la chatire s’est cass et il se relve parfois ce qui bloque la porte. Pour y remdier, on a t oblig d’lever d’enlever la pice qui sert de verrou et a a l’air d’aller. Je laisse malgr tout les 4* car elle tient bien le choc mme avec les deux petits chiens que j’ai en garde et qui s’amusent poursuivre les chats…
Comprei deste tamanho para que os ces pudessem usar tambm, alm dos gatos. Todos usam sem dificuldades, mas com alguns foi necessrio fazer treino para que no sentissem medo e entendessem o mecanismo.

Cette chatire est par contre un peu bruyante. Elle fonctionne pour les chats qui sont pucs et ceux qui ne le sont pas (il faut donc leur mettre un collier avec mdaille lectronique (1 mdaille est fournie).
Elle est facile utiliser : pour mmoriser les numros de puces par exemple. On peut la mettre en mode “manuel” : pas besoin de puce, par exemple si le chat a perdu sa mdaille lectronique.
Dure de vie des piles : 3 mois. Donc je vais me faire un pense-bte pour les changer tous les 3 mois (il en faut 6).
Elle est conue de manire ce que n’importe quel chat peut SORTIR si elle est en mode toute ouverte (c’est un systme de scurit par exemple s’il y a le feu dans la maison) mais pour RENTRER, l le chat aura besoin de sa puce.
J’ai 2 chats : 1 chat non puc qui porte donc une mdaille lectronique prsent et 1 chat puc, pour ce dernier, a ne reconnaissait pas tout le temps sa puce, je suppose que c’est parce qu’il est assez gros ! donc j’ai d racheter une mdaille lectronique.
Je ne regrette pas. Je l’ai install en juin et plus de pipi du chat voisin chez moi !

Dann habe ich es doch noch mal mit dieser Katzenklappe von Ferplast versucht.
Und was soll ich sagen, es ist natrlich keine perfekte Katzenklappe. Aber bei der Preis/Leistung ist sie im Gegensatz zum Rest um Welten besser.
Die Qualitt ist gut, es ist eine Schablone dabei und sogar eine kleine deutsche Anleitung.
Die Klappe war relativ schnell eingebaut und unsere Katze hat sich bereits daran gewhnt, dass ihr Katzenklo nur noch ber diesen Weg erreichbar ist.
Einziger Negativpunkt ist die Lautstrke. Aber damit knnen wir leben…
Fr den Einbau in eine Zimmertr kann ich diese Klappe auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
Minha nica ressalva o tamanho da chave magntica, achei muito grande e incomoda, ento eu abri e colei o m em outro pingente, menor e mais confortavel (no usei a coleira que veio, nem o guizo)

Die beiden Vorgnger haben immerhin gut 14 Jahre gehalten und hatten noch nicht diesen Windstopper.
Das Krzen des Kunstoffstegs (siehe Bild), damit Innen- und Auenteil ineinander greifen knnen, gestaltet sich mhsam bis schwierig und es empfiehlt sich (zumindest bei Glas), dass man an den beiden Teilen dnnen Schaumstoff (5 mm) anbringt, denn das erleichtert die Montage ungemein und mann muss die 4 Befestigungsschrauben nicht so krftig anziehen, denn durch den Schaumstoff ist schon eine hhere Haftung/Reibung gegeben.
Ich holte heute die Hundeklappe und nach dem Auspacken traute ich meinen Augen nicht, denn die fr das Vorgngermodell zurecht geschnittene Schaumstoffunterlage passte millimetergenau und selbiges galt fr die gekrzten Schrauben.
Bis auf das Krzen des Stegs war die Montage innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt.
Der Windstopper macht einen labrigen Eindruck und wird m.E. nicht lange halten, doch seiner Funktion (Handrckentest) kommt er einstweilen einmal einwandfrei nach und war bei den Vorgngermodellen immer leichte Zugluft zu verspren, konnte diese Zugluft beim gegenwrtigen Modell nun nicht mehr wahrgenommen werden.
Normal nur 3 bis max. 4 Sterne, denn die Konstruktion insgesamt knnte etwas stabiler sein, doch eine Firma, die ein Produkt nun schon 15 Jahre nahezu unverndert anbietet, ihre Kunden damit nicht im Regen stehen lsst, gehrt aufs Podest – ein dickes Lob und Empfehlung an die Firma Ferplast!

Nun versieht diese Klappe schon knapp 4 Monate ohne Fehl und Tadel ihren Dienst und selbst der Windstopper zeigt keinerlei Ausfallserscheinungen.
Ich teile mir das Haus mit einer quirligen Jagdhndin (31 kg), die die Klappe mindestens 20/30x tglich bettigt und mir auch Igeln (lebend !!!) ins Wohnzimmer bringt – durch die Hundeklappe natrlich.
Oftmals und das werte ich nicht als Bettigung, streckt sie nur ihren Kopf durch die Klappe, um zu sehen, was drauen bzw. drinnen los ist und man kann sagen, die Klappe ist hrtester Beanspruchung ausgesetzt.
Ein tolles Produkt und ich kann meine Empfehlung nur noch bekrftigen.

Nachdem bereits die einfache Klappe lange im Einsatz war nun also die Aufrstung zur Chipvariante.
Als wichtigstes: die PROGRAMMIERUNG:
– Knopf drcken, innerhalb von ca. 10 sec. Katze in die Nhe bringen/durchschieben (unsere kannten die Tr ja bereits), Klackgerusch ertnt
Vielleicht habe ich das berlesen oder bilde mir das auch nur ein – der kleine schwarze Punkt hinter der Klappe/im Tunnel scheint eine Lichtschranke(?) zu sein. Erst wenn man diese auslst (Finger kurz davor oder Katze durch Tunnel schieben), funktionierte die Programmierung!
Das hat mich leider mind. eine Viertelstunde gekostet. Danach hat’s aber geklappt. Schade, ich war bereits daran, die Klappe zurckzusenden und die Katze hatte ein kleines Trauma.
(“Ist mein Personal jetzt vllig bergeschnappt!?” – So sicherlich meine “Opferkatze”, nachdem ich sie mehrfach an die Klappe gehalten habe. Wir haben uns aber wieder vertragen, nach einem Leckerli und gaaaanz viel Streicheleinheiten.)
Ansonsten:
– passt zur Gre der Ferplast Swing (Aufrstung also problemlos)
– kein Tunnel schneiden ntig/erlaubt – je nach Installationsort ragt der Tunnel heraus
Der Mehrheit der bisherigen Kommentare kann ich mich sonst anschliessen. Die beschriebenen “Makel” (Lautstrke, nicht 100%iger Windstop, sinnlose Richtungsanzeige [habe ich erneut gleich wieder ausgebaut]) sind fr uns akzeptabel. Die Swing tat was sie soll und wir setzen darauf, dass auch diese das tut, und fr eine Chiptr scheint der Preis angemessen.
Bewertung wird nicht auf 5 Sterne kommen, dafr sind die Mngel zu gross – brigens auch bei anderen uns bekannten Klappen, mit und ohne Chiperkennung.
Fr vernnftige Produktpolitik (ich musste kein neues Loch sgen!) gab’s aber trotz der kniffligen Programmierung keinen extra Punktabzug.

Ma poich “mala tempora currunt”, in occasione del rifacimento di tutti i serramenti per montare quelli a doppi vetri, ho deciso che quella porta mai del tutto chiusa era uno dei punti deboli della sicurezza della casa. e quindi ho montato questa portina passa gatti.
Non sto a valutare l’inappuntabile servizio di vendita e consegna. ho gi scritto pi volte che occorrerebbe disgiungere questo aspetto dalla valutazione del prodotto.
Quindi perch Quattro stelle?
Perch non esiste una valutazione decimale in cui avrei dato 9.
Il problema (non gravissimo) nella mancanza della possibilit di tarare la forza necessaria all’apertura della portina.
Sopratutto nella fase iniziale dell’apprendimento, se fosse possibile tarare a 0 la resistenza alla spinta, i gatti (questa serie di gatti ha 15-16 anni), abituati a spingere la porta per entrare, trovando la porta chiusa, e non trovando la minima resistenza all’apertura imparerebbero molto pi in fretta – adesso, a distanza di una settimana hanno imparato a rientrare (potenza della fame,) ma non capiscono di dover usare la stessa tattica per uscire, col rischio di trovare “depositi” in casa….

Die Hundeklappe habe ich fr meinen Shih Tzu gekauft und an der Schlafzimmertr angebracht. Also im Haus. Darum brauchte ich keine Klappe mit Chip-Funktion. Es gibt die blichen 4 manuellen Einstellungen, die in der Beschreibung stehen (offen, geschlossen, nur rein und nur raus).
Da mein Vater sehr handwerklich ist und auch die ntigen Werkzeuge hat, hat er die Klappe fr mich eingebaut. Man mu schon das richtige Werkzeug haben um ein Loch in die Holztr zu sgen und auch in der Lage sein, die Dicke/Tiefe der Klappe mit der Tr anzupassen. D.h. man muss auch Plastik sgen knnen. Es ist also nicht schwer, aber man braucht das entsprechende Werkzeug. Es liegt eine Schablone bei, aber mein Vater hat lieber selber abgemessen.
Die Hundeklappe selber ist wirklich gut. Sie ist aus hartem Plastik, sieht wie in der Beschreibung aus und ist wirklich sein Geld wert. Die Klappe schwingt nicht hin und her, weil da ein Magnet ist. Aber den Magneten kann man auch einfach ablsen ohne etwas kaputt machen zu mssen. Dadurch dass man einige Teile ablsen und wieder anbringen kann, kann man die Hundekklappe noch etwas individuell gestalten. Ich habe z.B. die Magneten entfernt, weil meinem Hund das Gerusch der Klappe beim Zuschlagen angst machte. Nun ist sie lautlos, schwingt aber dann hin und her bei Bentuzung.
Also die Klappe ist wirklich klasse und ich wrde sie wieder kaufen.
Einziges Problem ist nun: Der Hund will noch nicht so recht durch! Hoffe das wird noch, sonst war alles fr die Katz.;-)
Fantastic super large dog flap. This one replaced the same model which had served us well for 6 years before our dog ran into it full tilt carrying a yard broom and pulled the entire thing out of the wall! Still dont know how he managed to get partially through and come in wearing the entire thing but in removing it from him we broke the inner flap, so we decided a new one might be prudent. Well made, still in one piece after all that punishment so we would not have anything else.

Ich hatte zu Anfang etwas Probleme zu verstehen, wie das mit der Programmierung auf den Chip funktioniert, aber naja, das lag wohl am Anwender und vielleicht daran, dass mein Kater zu Anfang AUF GAR KEINEN FALL!!! eine Katzenklappe benutzen wollte. Von daher war es ein Herausforderung mit leichen Verletzungen auf meiner Seite ihn Zwecks Programmierung auf seinen Chip im Zeitfenster durch die Klappe zu schieben.
Ich vermute bei “normalen” Katzen erweist sich das als problemlos. Inzwischen (hat ja nur 6 Monate gedauert) hat sich auch mein Kater an die Technik und die Klackgerusche gewhnt.
Einsatz bei mir erfolgt (war von Anfang an so geplant, hat sich nur aufgrund der widerspenstigen Katze recht lange hingezogen) wie folgt:
– ich habe ein Loch an einem Seitenausgang im Keller in die Wand frsen lassen (das macht ein Kaminbauer fr ca. 100 bis 150 Euro) und ist in ca. 1 Stunde erledigt. Dafr muss man aber Eigentmer sein, oder die Erlaubnis des Vermieters haben.
– Anbringung im Keller, weil ich mir die grade aufgerstete Dmmung im Wohnbereich oben nicht wieder durch eine zugige Klappe kaputtmachen wollte, hier hatte ich von Anfang an geplant, jeweils eine Klappe an der inneren Wand und an der ueren Wand anzubringen um die Zugluft zu minimieren. Das klappt auch ganz gut, der Kellerflur ist nicht geheizt, es zieht aber mit der Doppelklappenfunktion auch nicht mehr wirklich. Der Eingang liegt aber auch geschtzt am ausgeschachteten Kellereingang.
Da der Kater sich zunchst weigerte eine Klappe berhaupt zu benutzen, habe ich ber Monate zunchst mit einem Umzugskarton und der “normalen” Katzenklappe ohne Chip – die jetzt an der ueren Hauswand montiert ist – im Wohnzimmer “gebt”. Futter gab es nur im Umzugskarton und um da ranzukommen, musste er durch die Klappe.
Die habe ich auch zunchst aufgeklappt gelassen (einfach zwei Wscheklammern oben direkt an die ffnung) und zustzlich mit etwas Klebeband fixiert. Sie hngt dann zwar noch etwas runter, aber der Kater passte durch.
Die Chip-Klappe hatte ich von Anfang an an der Innenwand (Chip-Teil also schn in der Wand versteckt) angebracht. Die war auch die ganze Zeit aktiv, nur Katerchen hat sie ignoriert.
Damit ihm das leichter fllt, habe ich auch diese Klappe mit Wscheklammern “offen stehen lassen” in der Hoffnung, dass er es rallt. Ergebnis: die offenstehende Klappe wurde intensiv von den Nachbarkatzen genutzt und meiner markierte die ganz Wohnung.
Also Klappe runter und Chip aktiv. Von da an war bzgl. der Nachbarskatzen Ruhe, aber meiner nutzte sie auch nicht 🙁 Auch nach 4 Monaten “ben” mit der Umzungskiste im Wohnzimmer nicht.
Am Ende hab ich ihn einfach mit Gewalt ein paar mal wenn er rauswollte durch die Klappe geschoben, da war die “normale” Klappe noch nicht montiert (die war ja an der Umzugskiste) und er konnte ein Licht am Ende des Tunnels sehen 🙂 Ob das jetzt aus katzenpsychologischer Sicht die richtige Entscheidung war, wei ich nicht, aber es hat geholfen. Nach 2 Wochen kam er bei geschlossener Klappe (also Deckel runter, und aktivem Chip inkl. Klackgerusch) alleine rein, ging nur nicht raus. Da sollte ich weiterhin Tren ffnen. Das verlangt er aber auch heute (3 Jahre spter noch), wenn ich zu Hause bin. Bin ich nicht da, nutzt er die Klappe gern.
Nachdem dann also nur die Chip-Klappe den ganzen Sommer ber montiert war, hatte es wohl endlich geschnackelt und er marschierte durch die Klappe brav rein und raus. Den ersten Winter haben wir also nur mit 1 Klappe in der Wand verbracht und ich muss sagen: Winddicht ist anders. Trotz dem geschtzten Eingang zog es an der Klappe wie Hechtsuppe und ich bin heilfroh das Ding nicht im Erdgeschoss angebracht zu haben.
Im Herbst nach dem ersten Sommer habe ich dann mittels einer kleinen Holzplatte die 2. Katzenklappe (ganz normale ohne Chip und Schnickschnack) an die Auenwand montiert, so dass jetzt ein kurzer Tunnel mit jeweils einer Klappe am Ende vorhanden ist.
Der Kater hat es gut angenommen, die zwei Klappen und die Klackgerusche stren ihn gar nicht mehr. Im Gegenteil, durch dieses Konstrukt bekommt er allerlei Getier (lebend, halb tot, tot) ins Haus, bis hin zu jungen Kaninchen.
Mit der Doppelklappenfunktion ist die Konstruktion jetzt auch nicht mehr zugluftanfllig. Die “normale” Klappe hat noch eine kleine Brste um das zu verhindern, in Summe vermute ich aber, sie ist nicht viel “dichter” als die Chip-Klappe. In der Kombination mit dem Luftpolster im “Tunnel” geht es aber.
Achja, Batterien: Also ich habe jetzt glaub ich das 3. Set drin und diese halten schon ber ein Jahr. Als es im ersten Jahr durch nur eine Klappe noch deutlich klter an der Stelle war, waren die Batterien im Winter schnell leer. Hier zeigt sich wohl auch der Effekt dass weniger Klte reinkommt. Ich hab jetzt nur eine Katze, denke aber der Batterieverbrauch ist durchaus vertretbar, selbst wenn man mehr Katzen hat.
Dichtigkeit: Nur mit der Klappe nicht gegeben, da kann man das Loch auch direkt offen lassen. Die Klappe verhindert lediglich das Eindringen fremder Katzen, hlt aber weder Klte noch Zugluft ab.
Richtungsanzeiger: Diesen komischen Richtungsanzeiger habe ich sofort um die Hlfte gekappt, weil er total sinnlos ist (wenn man mehr als eine Katze hat eh, und selbst meine eine geht ja auch mal durch eine andere Tr raus oder rein) und viel schlimmer: Sich hufig so verklemmt, dass die Katze die Tr von auen nicht mehr ffnen kann. Ganz hab ich ihn deswegen nicht entfernt, weil sonst htte ich das Loch auch wieder irgendwie noch verschlieen mssen. So ist es nicht so gro.
Bei dem Preis fhrt der Punkt “Winddicht nicht gegeben” bei mir zu einem Punkt Abzug. Htte ich die Klappe im Wohnbereich angebracht, wre meine Bewertung sicherlich deutlich schlechter. Allerdings wei ich auch nicht, wie gut die Dmmung bei der am besten gedmmten Katzenklappe ist, vermutlich ist das (noch) kein Kriterium fr die Hersteller.
Die eingentliche Funktion: Chip auslesen und nur “berechtigter” Zutritt funktionert tadellos. Nach Batterienwechsel sollte man aber sicherstellen, dass die Klappe die eigene Katze noch “kennt”.
Daher sieht mein Anforderungsprofil wie folgt aus (wer wei, vielleicht lesen die Hersteller ja mit?):
– Katzenklappe mit Chipfunktion, wie gehabt (es darf nur rein, wer berechtigt ist)
– Funktion nur rein/nur raus/ganz zu/Chip-lesen aus weiter beibehalten
– DICHT – d. h. Anbringung ohne groen Wrmeverlust auch in Wohnrumen mglich.
– Verzicht auf unntige Gimmicks zu Lasten der Dmmfunktion (der Richtungsanzeiger ist ein gutes Beispiel)
– LEISER! Die Klappe fllt sehr laut zu. Ich hab sie jetzt im Keller, aber wenn die in der Nhe des Schlafzimmers wre, wrde ich davon wach werden.
– “Gesichtserkennung”, d. h. Klappe geht nicht auf, wenn die Katze etwas im Maul hat (ein- und ausschaltbare Funktion). Da wurde vor Jahren etwas bei Jugend forscht vorgestellt und ich wrde das Teil bei zuverlssiger Funktion sofort erwerben!
So lange ich mich mit dem aktuellen Angebot begngen muss, wrde ich mich fr dieses oder ein hnliches Modell wieder entscheiden. Ich hoffe aber bei dem nicht unerheblichen Preis, dass die Klappe noch eine ganze Weile hlt.
L’ho montata su un cancello di ferro, con l’aiuto di un fabbro che ha tagliato il cancello ed ha applicato la porta basculante. NON montatela da soli, anche perch servono attrezzi tipo il frullino adatto al tipo di porta da tagliare, etc…. Pertanto al momento dell’acquisto tenete presente che vi coster qualcosa per farvela montare dal vetraio / fabbro / falegname, a seconda del tipo di porta che dovete forare (ho speso 50 euro di fabbro).
Circa lo spessore… adatta a tutte le porte, in quanto la parte interna si pu tagliare (sempre con il frullino) per renderla pi sottile, adattandola alla porta sulla quale deve essere applicata.
Veniamo al CANE: i primi 2 giorni ho lasciato la basculante completamente aperta (intendo con il vetrino alzato, ossia proprio un vero e proprio buco nel quale intrufolarsi. Operazione riuscita. Allora step 2, ho tirato gi il vetrino, ed il cane stato un p scettico, cercava di spingere con la zampa , invece che con la testa ! Mi sono dedicata un p, tirandolo leggermente dal collare per indirizzarlo ad entrare nel buco spingendo…ha capito subito…. passato e via… Per fa rumore (tac-tac-tac …3 volte) quindi si dovuto abituare al rumore. Tutta fase di ambientazione durata 7 giorni, adesso entra ed esce che una bellezza !!!

Very good product. Easy to install, 2 hours start to finish. Only took day or two for my Cockapoo to be shooting through it like a dart !! Very helpful with latter stages of toilet training.

Replacing the old one was very easy – the only problem was the the new screws were 10mm shorted than the old ones and I had to reuse the old ones.
They have added an extra flap, probably as a draft excluder. This extra flap gives a loud clack clack when the flap swings. Neither dog would use it for this reason – so I levered it off.
So now it is as good as the old one, and the dogs happily dive in and put.

Sie klappt sehr laut zu, was bei einer Klappe aus dem Fachhandel aber genau so ist.
Ich habe den Gummi an der Klappe abgezogen und 3 Mal mit grauem Universal-Klebeband
beklebt, der ganz leicht wieder angedrckt werden kann. Wenn die Klappe langsam zugeht, ist sie
sehr leise.
Anfangs habe ich den Gummi am Tage ganz weggelassen.
Bei mir ist die Klappe in ein 12 mm starkes Brett eingebaut, das in ein Katzennetz auf dem Balkon
integriert ist. Den Tunnel habe ich dazu um 3,5 cm mit einer Eisensge gekrzt und die langen
Schrauben auch auf Lnge gesgt ( leider auch den Daumen ).
Die Rahmentiefe ist 12 mm. Laut Anleitung sollten fr den Tunnel 8 mm zu der Strke der
Tr/Wand dazugerechnet werde. Dadurch entsteht ein Spielraum von 4 mm, so dass ich auch mal,
bei Bedarf, das 15 mm starke Brett benutzen kann.
Den Durchgangsanzeiger habe ich ausgehebelt und nur einen seitlichen Magneten eingebaut.
Meine beiden Katzen hatten keine Eingewhnungszeit, nur am 1. Tag habe ich ihnen gezeigt, dass
die Tr offen ist.
Den beweglichen Rahmen habe ich entfernt, um meiner Katze das ffnen zu erleichtern.
Allerdings hat der Kater nun schon zum 2. Mal die Klappe hochgehoben und ist entwischt ( war auf
“IN” gestellt, damit die Katze rein kann ). Wre auf “Geschlossen” gestellt, htte er
garantiert die gelbe Scheibe gedreht, das noch viel leichter ist.
Der bewegliche Rahmen ist also schon sinnvoll, nur dass eine Katze beim Reinkommen mehr Kraft
aufwenden muss. Leider geht die Klappe nur nach auen im 90 Gradwinkel auf.
Meine Katzen haben sich daran gewhnt, dass sie sich beim Reinkommen etwas ducken mssen.
Gut finde ich die fhlbare Markierung auf dem Rdchen, so dass ich es auch im Dunkeln verstellen
kann.
Die Swing 3 ist in den Abmessungen gleich gro wie die Swing 5, nur dass sie fr Glas-Einbau
gedacht ist oder nur mit zustzlichem Tunnel. Hier vermisse ich bei dem Angebot die Angabe der
Einbautiefe.
Der Hauptsitz von Ferplast ist in Italien. Wem englisch gelufig ist, knnte meine nachfolgenden
Vorschlge per E.M. senden:
1. Klappe leiser machen
2. Durchgangsanzeiger weglassen
3. Statt zustzlicher Klappe umlaufende Brstchen gegen Zugluft
4. Fr Ausbrecher-Katzen das gelbe Rdchen und die Scheibe verdecken
5. Trffnung auf beiden Seiten im 90 Grad Winkel
Obwohl verbesserungsfhig bin ich mit der Katzenklappe seit fast einem Jahr zufrieden.
Good cat flap; better the another very known brand and cats seem to prefer it. Two years old now and no problems. Dog broke the door just after fixing it but Ferplast had a good after sales and i quickly got another one.

My dog started off following our cat through the cat flap when he was a puppy. Bought this dog flap to replace it as dog grew and it works really well. He just lets himself in and out at will. Couldn’t do without it now.
I researched online reviews to buy a good quality dog door and this is great, had no problems. The dog has taken a while to get the hang of it but will now happily go through it in and out for treats and to run away from me if I get his brush out!! He still pees in the kitchen at night though – right in front the pet door!!
I think it’s very good but would have preferred it to have had an extra inner door to put in if we go away.

Good strong plastic construction, Bit noisy as it slams shut easy wipe clean gives our dog the freedom of use to the garden, ours is a medium size terrier so did not require anything bigger. had it been a bigger model I feel it would have been a problem if it was fitted to a door exposed to direct wind as the magnets are not that powerful.

very nicely made.has taken till today (10 days since fitting) for my two Jack Russells to finally get through on their own with many treats on offer!! i think the flap noise when opening and closing was spooking them. hopefully will be ok from now.
This is the second Ferplast Swing 1 door I have bought and they are the best. however after we had fitted this one correctly the yellow button at the bottom refuses to budge so the cat flat is permanently open, which defeats the object of having one !! The button is absolutely wedged tight, we have tried everything but it refuses to move, so disappointed this time
Great pet door, although the windproof seal has had the cats and the dog apprehensive for a couple of days due to the snap it makes when it closes, so be prepared to be patient, getting them in and out.
Fits wells and didn’t require an extra spacer that others may require. Cat was a little concerned about the in/out indicator, but it was essy to removed.
Brilliant product, best money I have ever spent!! Collie/staff cross and Patterdale dashing in and out all day and it’s withstood everything
What can i say, the cat loves it, had the same one before, but without draught excluder, the makers have simply taken away the extra magnetic strip and replaced it with an extra piece of plastic, does not keep draught out as says, but has an indicator on it which comes in handy, when searching for your cat.

WE FIRST GOT ONE OF THESE FOR OUR BORDER COLLIE PUP SHE SOON GOT USE TO IT, SHE IS NOW 3 YEARS OLD AND WE HAVE JUST HAD TO REPLACE IT AS SHE DIVES THROUGH IT ABOUT 40 TIMES A DAY, WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
I like the fact that it makes a noise when the cats use it, as it lets me know when one has come in or out – either one of mine or a non-resident on the scrounge!
Added about 4 months later:
Houdini has not been able to turn the knob, but the flap bit was broken this morning, presumably during an altercation between Houdini and a very aggressive new cat on the block. A top corner has been broken off.
I have had to replace the flap with a spare one I had (another brand) for the time being. I saw that my builder had used sealant around the edges, and thought that he was just being extra-thorough, but he seems to have made a bit of a mess of putting the screws in, and maybe there was also a problem with the design as referred to by another reviewer, leading to a gap around the edges, hence the sealant?
I’m hesitating over buying another one of these. My cat and his enemy are very strong, but I have decided to get another brand in the hope that the flaps themselves are less easily broken.

This is the second one I have had the first one lasted 7 years before my young Labrador had a mad half hour and broke hinges on flap, hope this one does as well, both dogs and cats have used it without any problems. Delivered when they said pleased with both the prduct and sevice.
A good sturdy product and does what it says, only four stars though as it was a little tricky to fit, to a UPVC door… expect to spend a bit more time on trimming the tunnel down and getting screws lined up etc than you may have hoped… But once its in , great, better quality than other leading brands I have used before.

Our old Staywell catflap used to swing about in the wind, and left our utility room freezing cold in the winter. This has a much better magnet arrangement that keeps the flap shut even in high winds….great!
I did not need to use this in the end, but it was as described and a quality cat flap from a well known manufacturer.
I purchased this cat flap to replace my old one cos it got broken. It is very good and a good price well delivered and just what I wanted.
This cat flap is a neat solution that is easily fitted. I first tried the Swing 3 but it does not include the tunnel so it leaves an ugly gap between the two halves when it is fitted. The tunnel is supposed to be available separately I could not get it in the UK. The return and refund for the Swing 3 was handled very efficiently by amazon.
Fast prompt service from supplier, Nice sized flap. only down size it could do with sizes of fixing screws, as most door panels are 20mm + the screws supplied are either too long or too short, otherwise a superb product, I hope they bring out a secure id one in future, so that neighbours cats etc cant waltz in.
The door has a very positive close position, it is rather noisy as it closes and swings back and forth especially after the labrador has gone through. My concern from the appearance of this door is that it will not prove sturdy enough but only time will tell if this is well founded.
I have 3 cats and a terrier as well as the labrador and they have absolutely no difficulty with this dog flap.
I will repost at some stage to inform on whether it has been a successful purchase because I have had such a struggle to get any useful, informed advice about the subject of dogflaps ansd it has cost me a lot of money making uninformed purchases!
Update 18/04/2012.I am really pleased with this flap – we have had all weather types now from high winds and driving rain to a really hot spell and this dog door has performed extremely well.It isn’t quiet as it closes but it does close every time and most importantly stays closed!
Update 28/10/2012 – dog flap has a break in the U frame. Currently still closes but I am not as confident that it will last.
WELL MADE AND A BETTER OPENING THAN ONE OF THE OTHER WELL KNOWN MAKES WE HAVE HAD.OUR GINGER TOM THINKS IT,S THE CATS WHISKERS!
Having had size 7 for small cats, we now have an additional cat of 8.5 kilos (he is like a rugby ball), so we measured the cat, (width and height – much to his anxt!)) then the size of 11 dog flap. Positioned it so his little legs could get through but not too near the ground. Originally put it on the wrong way round! with the locking device facing outwards!but it was easily reversed. Now all 5 cats can use it.
It does exactly what is says on the tin.
A small niggle: could do with controls on the top of the unit so they don’t get dirty from damp paws.
I bought this item just before going on holidays and I found it fantastic. I left my cat alone at home and it didn’t need any “lesson” to use it. It was very easy to install. I received the item in a few days which I found great! It is a pity that I didn’t have the idea of buying it before. Now, I don’t need to leave the door opened all the time and I can leave my cat alone when we go on a weekend. It is a great purchase! My cat is happy now and so am I!
