I have bought other mowers recently and nothing compares to this little flyymo. My garden is green and exactly at the same height after just one use, fantastic mower.
I highly recommend it.
Gives lovely stripes on lawn.
Biggest gripe is how long it is, when you get to the end of the lawn, it needs around 1m to turn it around to manoeuvre to the next ‘stripe’. Fine if all your borders are edging onto open space. Really tricky/impossible if you have a fence or planted border on the edges. I found I have to mow sideways for about a metre at least at the ends to get all the grass cut, before I then do the stripes on the remainder.
i lika this mower but i cut my finger when adjusting the cutting height but i forgive flimo
Bought it to replace my old broken one which was the exact same.model.. I bought it as it is the lightest for manoverability and I knew I could handle it. Worst part was putting the grass box together.
Nice lawn mower,easy to assemble but putting the grass box together is hard to do.
I brought this lawn mower for my mother who can’t use heavy mowers and she loves it she can mow her own grass again because of it being light weigh

Love this mower, it was easy to assemble, has three different length settings, makes great lawn stripes. Long lasting mower bought this as a replacement for the same model lasted over 9 years.
When my other flymo broke I had no qualms with buying another the same. Sturdy, light and easy to use. As I am an OAP, it is ideal for me.
The lawn mower is excellent. I have a big garden with varying qualities of grass and it tackles everything easily. I have taken a star off as, after over an hour, I still hadn’t managed to put the grass box, and had to use one from my previous Flynn.
I’ve always used hover mowers and when my last one stopped working I have a good look at my options. This mower is the first with wheels and is the best I’ve owned out of many over the years. The cut is great and it collects all the cuttings. It’s not too loud and is light and easy to lift and store in our shed.
Good value mower when assembled. Fitting grass box together needed two people because of the flexibility of plastic. Easy to use, but grass collection box fills very quickly.

After my old flymo stopped working after about 15 years thought I would stick to the same brand .Assembly was going fine until I got to the dreaded grass box other reviewers had a problem with after a lot of swearing and huffing and puffing finally got it after about 10 minutes, my grass was a bit long in places so opted to change the height settings to the highest and the blade barely touched it on to the middle setting that took a bit off so I moved it to its lowest setting that give it a really good cut wee stripes and all ,grass box holds plenty and is easy to lift off to empty it’s a lot lighter than my old one I find it has plenty of cable but I always use mine with an extension lead with one of those trip switch plugs in case of any unforeseen accidents .

When assembly the handles where easy to attach but the grass box was a lot harder to put together. When using the mower it is very good but like one reviewer said to alter the height is a bit tricky. Other then that it does the job I brought it fo
Assembly was a bit frustrating, but not a big deal. You don’t have to use the basket if you don’t want to. Quality is cheap plastic, but I can still hold the entire lawnmower in one hand and it doesn’t fall apart, so it’s not the worst quality out there. How long it will I don’t know, I’ve used it twice so far with grass as tall as 20cm and it didn’t have any problems. It’s fairly light so you can just lift it up when you hit a thick patch to get it cut, it does the job pretty well for such a small machine.
I’m happy so far, but I’ve only used it twice so can’t say long it will last. I’ll edit my review in a year.

What a little gem this mower is, light weight so nice and easy to manoeuvre around the lawn.
Bit tricky to assemble but all the parts were there and my husband prevailed! We have two small lawns front and back and the flex is long enough to reach the far end of the front lawn without an extension but doesn’t quite make the back. Manoeuvrability is good but it’s a bit cumbersome to carry from front to back since it is weighted heavier at the front, for obvious reasons. The grass box is adequate but has to be emptied after cut of each lawn. Does the job in reasonable time though and without much effort. Would recommend this as overall I am happy with the purchase.

Apart from that a very good mower – much more powerful that my old hover. I inadvertently left it low cut which is how it was delivered and not having mowed my lawn for a couple of weeks due to wet weather, I found the grass collector filling up quickly. Two small – medium lawns nearly filled a wheelie bin. We get a lot of moss in the lawn and the suction power of the mower was enough to drag out large quantities. I have now adjusted to medium cut which is fine.
If you’re used to a hover mower, you need to be aware of how to turn in a restricted space, but easy to get used to.
For storage, the handles are bolted on so the mower is about two feet longer than the hover where you can fold the handles.
Overall, very pleased with it.
