Its a very easy to manage lawnmower. Its fast in cutting and makes great edges with its wide blades. Storage is good aswell and it can do big areas without have to worry about emptying the container.
Very easy to use and no mess after cutting grass.
Overall good value. Only slight problem for me is relocating grass box after each emptying, as there is no audible click and it doesn’t feel as if it is back in place properly, even though it is.
I’ve a smallish lawn and it’s a real pain because it meanders through my packed beautiful garden and all those extension cables and mower cables often damage plants get in the way and then you have to put all that cabling away but not with this mower it’s so easy just to wonder through the garden and now at last it’s a pleasure to cut the grass for me I wish I had this mower years ago.
I love this mower, it’s light and easy to push along. Our back garden has a slight slope, but I didn’t struggle at all. (I’m not young and I have physical health problems) I really like the way it folds up for storage, it only takes up the space of a decent sized suitcase. I would heartily recommend it.
It’s a decent quality mower.
The mechanism to adjust the height is great.
The mechanism for handles is a bit clinky and there must be a better folding system.
The side comb to bring grass under the blades actually works (I had my doubts beforehand).
Grass box adequate. Overall not too bad.
BUT:
What are flymo thinking they ruined the whole thing by providing such a short cable..compared to my Flymo 330 Hover I now have to move the cable almost every run of the lawn (even with an extension cable). What a pain. I’ll have replace the cable myself with a longer one. For literally less than 1 they could have improved the whole thing. Next time I’ll buy a battery operated mower and not from Flymo.
Was close to three stars but perhaps if your lawn is not massive (mine is 360m2) then perhaps the cable is not an issue.
This product was a little fiddly to assemble but given that you can store it upright it’s worth the time setting up. Having used a cylinder mower for many years I was reluctant to move to rotary. However, this Flymo has not disappointed. It cuts very well, is easy to manoeuvre and the little flap to indicate when the box is full is quite accurate. The roller is also great as you can still have the traditional lines if you want them. The mower is easy to stow away in an upright position too which is great for space-saving. Overall I am very happy with this product and look forward to cutting the grass!

I did not buy any garden stuff before. I never had a garden before. However, I worked on according to the structure. Easy to assemble, a long wire (but I needed a an extension for my garden) and went to a garden that have not been touched for three years. It was kind dreamy!
Very good mower a little heavy but not a problem cuts grass beautifully
Feels a very well made lawn mower with large capacity grass box. It collects nearly all the grass clippings which is more than what I can say of the very expensive Bosch mower I tried before this one. It also very compact to store. Easy to alter the cutting height and a very clever grass full indicator of the grass box which actually works. I am very happy with it.

Perfect for our small garden, I was hesitating between one powered by battery or cable but for the price difference and the time I was really saving with a battery and theprice difference (2-3 X) I decided to go for a cable power lawnmower. It’s small, compact, light and easy to store. There are 5 differentlevels of cut and the collector is a good size and It comes with a 10m long cable that is just enough for me.
The first thing I should have done was to try charging the batteries, because having gone through the procedure of assembling the lawn mower, I discovered that one of the 2 batteries would not charge. Unfortunately, Amazon was unable to replace this faulty battery and advised me to contact the manufacturer, who also could not provide a replacement battery within a reasonable time.
Amazon did however, in a very efficient way, arrange for the return and refund for the lawnmower.
I since reordered the same model and am very pleased with i

Good cut….but handle very low – cant be highered any more….hushand has to bend over!
Wasn’t expecting too much from it but in fact it’s a really good lawnmower. More sturdy than I thought doesn’t feel too cheap, and what’s more, really effective.
When I assembled it – which was easy – I adjusted the height on 4 and thought I’ll put it on 5 when I’ll start to mow the lawn as the grass was really high but when I finished the first round I realised that I didn’t…..
When the grass is humid & high and if there is a small slope the lawnmower struggled a bit to send the humid grass in the box but still did an amazing job.
Had to empty it often due to the little jungle that was there but when I did the 2nd round and adjusted the height on 2 it was easy and didn’t empty it many times.
It isn’t the best/strongest plastic used for for grass box but overall it’s sturdy where it needs to be so I would definitely recommend it.
Model “Flymo EasiStore 340R Electric Rotary Lawn Mower”
I agonised over lawnmower reviews as most of them have negative comments to do with build quality, cutting quality or motor burnout issues
This lawnmower is sturdy and has quite a nice design, it’s easy to collapse and store.
The cable management is simple and effective.
Handles are great and height is adjustable.
The cut is decent and it’s easy to change heights with a lever. It’s not lightweight but can be moved around easy enough.
There is an indicator on the grass collector which lets you know when it needs emptied.
I’m delighted with my purchase for the money, it also has a roller and powerful motor giving you bang for your buck. 2 year warranty available on registration. Would recommend

We only get a cut and a half out of the batteries which means we are charging after each cut. Charging un-flat batteries used to break them so I am slightly worried how long the batteries will last.
Flymo EasiStore 340R Electric Rotary Lawn Mower
Good Price.
Very nice cut.
Good lead length.
Only problem is a front wheel came off 2nd use.
I e-mailed via company website, but no response as of yet.
Guess difficult times with covid, and people working from home I was informed.
So purchased some 8mm Diameter Starlock washers from Amazon.
Hopefully solve problem.
Bit disappointed, but need to mow lawn.
Wish me luck!
Update:
Manufacturer did respond, & sent 4 spare parts.
So I have 3 spares for future.

The mower is light weight but really doesn’t cut the grass very well . It misses bits and doesn’t cut it short enough , even on the lower setting . We only have a small piece of grass and thought it would be great not to have wires to negotiate.
Not the easiest to put together and on the second time I used it one side of the handle came off. However that was probably my fault for not doing it properly in the first place and it was okay to put back together outside . It’s fine to store in a small space, it cuts the grass, it’s lightweight and easy to move around. I don’t care about lines in the lawn so haven’t taken notice of that. Fine for smaller lawns.

A little fiddly to put together but successfully achieved. It cut the grass in my moderate sized garden but I found it struggled with the longer grass. I had to adjust the height a couple of times but was pleased with the final cut. Fits in hut easily in upright position.

Have had one before, albeit the smaller version, which lasted many years so hopefully I get the same service from this one. Seems sturdier than the previous one.
So much better than the previous model. The battery packs are better designed and dont pop out. The lowering of the blades is done via a spring at the back which I guess would be a bit of a pain if you lower it often but I don’t so this doesn’t bother me. Brilliant – battery lasts for my whole garden and the grass verge of mine and a few of my neighbors. At first I thought the grass collector was not the right size (top & bottom looked different sizes) but it just needs to be bent into place while putting it together and fits fine.

I have been using a hover mower for more than 20 years, but switching over to this non hover was the best decision.
It was really easy to put together, and folds up small to store away.
It has 3 hight adjustments and cuts the lawn with no effort at all.
Easy and lightweight to push, this little mower is wonderful.

I bought this mower to upgrade from my ancient but trusty Qualcast after setting a new lawn. Overall it is an improvement in usability.
Good: cordless with plenty of power for my small lawn. Saves all the faff of extension leads and circuit breakers. Folds up great and pulls along on two wheels. Easy to clean down. Neat storage.
Not so good: only has 3 cutting heights and the top height is very long. To get 5 heights you need bigger model. Changing height is hard for me, needs plenty of force.
Bad: assembly instructions and pictures especially for attaching the lower foldable arm. After a frustrating struggle I had to walk away and then sussed it the next day after searching the internet. But couldn’t find an official video?

Took a while to set it up, the grass box was quite awkward but once done it is a great mower, extremely light and cuts well and right up to edges against walls.
Exactly what I wanted. Easy to put together, fairly lightweight. Very easy to use and to change blade height. Like the fact can be pulled along ( like a shopping trolley) to the grass. Can fold handle for storing or stand upright with grass box on top. Really pleased with this purchase. Suitable for medium sized law
It was very easy to assemble but the problem was that the handle for the cutting box is the wrong on as it’s suppose to hang on the handle of lawn but cannot as it’s the wrong one plus the fittings is also different for fixing the handle to the mowe
he mower was great, so easy and light to use. Unfortunately after 4 months one of the batteries failed to charge.
The service from both Amazon and flymo was excellent. They had a hold up with the batteries so they replaced the mower the next day and collected the faulty one. Brilliant!!!!
The instructions for assembly are useless. They assume that you are an octopus when connecting the two parts of the grass box! Also you need to be able to mind read!! Would be better if it was rewritten by an engineer who could explain the number of turns to put on a part to make the job easier.

Awkward to assemble in parts. Lightweight to use. Biggest bonus is the way it fold for upright storage therefore takes up less room in shed.
Purchased 2 one for my daughter and one for me mine one of the battery was dead contacted Amazon and they delivered one today brilliant work fantastic experience
I think this is a very good machine for around 100s.y. of lawn. Being so light, I can easily mow in the various places like under trees and bushes, and it cuts well on any grass which hasn’t been allowed to get too long or wet! This applies to most mowers anyway!
I would suggest that the roller isn’t that good, as it accumulates damp grass and mud between the actual roller and the enclosure, and seizes up quite quickly. I might even remove it completely, as I have no need for ‘lines’ on our lawn!
As I’ll never see sixty again, or seventy for that matter, I am very pleased to have a mower which is light, has a very efficient cutting action and is easy to store under the bench in the shed. I only need one charge for the twenty-five minutes I need to cut the various areas of lawn, and this mower is definitely up to the job!

The machine is excellent, the only criticism being that the on/off switch is a little too sensitive.
Really like this mower. Very light and easy to manoeuvre. Battery needs to be changed after every cut depending on the size of area that needs cutting. Battery charge approximately 2 hours. Controls easy to use and cut is nice but not the widest .
I had a Flymo 32 before and after 7 years it gave up the ghost. And the 32 was always struggling in my lawn, I would have to do half width. The 34 seems to be more powerful and with a slightly bigger box, I found it a breeze to mow the lawn. Having said that, it is still very early spring and the grass length is still not at its most angry. I bought the 34 because it had a roller at the back but I doubt the roller is helping me with lines. I mow one line fwd and the next line pull back so probably that makes the lines and not the roller. So, in retrospect, I should have gone for the 36″ (or bigger) without a roller which was even more powerful and even cheaper.

Can’t believe this little lawnmower could cut to this quality, but as you can see it has with enough battery power to do it again ( 2bars still showing on the battery power indicator)
Have to omit thought this mower wouldn’t do the job running out of battery half way through, but I was wrong
Great mower would recommend
Product has proved better than expected. Although made of plastic, it has a solid quality feel. Collection box was a little tricky to assemble, but once done proved solid also.
‘Have used it once so far, beginning of the season, and the cut was excellent. The omission of any cables was much appreciated when maneuvering around around obstacles/trees in the lawn.
I wasn’t so concerned about having a build in roller to create stripes, but the presence of the roller makes it easy to cut right up against the edges, whereas a convention 4-wheel mower always runs the risk of falling off the edge and then scalping the grass. Try it and see.
I particularly like the way it stores vertically in a stable and compact way.
It wasn’t until I bought it that I found out that Flymo is now owned by Husqvarna. Two well know and respected Brands.
I would highly recommend this product. Even better when the price I paid at Amazon is significantly below the RRP.

Only used once so far. Found this mower very easy to carry and manauver due to its lightness. Achieved a good cut and stripes in my lawn. Overall very pleased.
It collapses very easily and is compact for easy stand in a corner storage. Grass box is easy to insert and clips neatly onto the handle when storing away
2nd mower in less than a year
Both flymo and both items the batteries failed very quickly ( cordless)
Do they have a battery problem??
And am I alone in this or anybody else??
I was actually really happy with this product when I first got it, unfortunately that was short lived…Battery packed up, Amazon have been dreadful in time so customer support, endless promises to call back and yet nothing until I call them…again!!!
What’s worse is that you don’t appear to be able to purchase replacement batteries, which is a ridiculous concept, all cordless equipment manufacturers make a huge profit from aftermarket battery sales….but not in this instance!
Well done flymo, I’m going to bin this piece of junk and spend my money elsewhere!!
within the first month of use the rear wheel fell off. It is held on by a captive spring washer and pretend nut. Ihave tried toget replacement without success. I have some duct tape round the small shaft to hold the wheel On but it comes off every now and again. Never had this problem with next size down.

Our lawn includes quite a steep hill. For years we have used a heavy Mountfield Petrol mower because it was self-propelled, decided to switch to cordless, battery operated Flymo and could not be happier. So lightweight, doesn’t need self-propulsion, doesn’t dig into lawn even when wet. One full Charge (2 batteries) easily does both our large back lawn and smaller front lawn 3 to 4 times. Highly recommended.
The unit delivered did not have a registration card or a manual. Only pictures on outside of box. Flymo website also does not offer a manual for this product. If you have successfully assembled one, please post a picture of how the “air deflector” fits into the bowl.
Thanks for replies. When functional I expect mower to be as useful as my last one.
Portability of the item is good, and it is lightweight and easy to use. Battery lasts about 30 min, but takes longer than expected to recharge (sometimes mine takes 8 hours). Also, you don’t find replacement batteries online. If you can, I would suggest a corded one, or another brand.
Got this at a reduced price of 160 on Prime Day. Some reviews say it’s fiddly to put together but I found it very straight forward and the instructions were easy to follow. I put it together in around 30 mins. I’ve only used it once but was very pleased with the quality and ease of use. Grass was rather damp (couldn’t wait to try it!) but it cut with ease on a high cut and left perfect stripes on the lawn. Battery lasts well too. More than enough charge for my medium sized lawn. I will update the review when I’ve used it a few more times.
UPDATE – June 2021
Still impressed. Quick and easy to use. Battery charges quickly. Grass has grown considerably during a 2-week holiday but the mower performed well. Gave it a high cut up and down the lawn and followed up with a medium cut side to side. I’m happy to recommend the mower.
Easy to use, battery life is very good last around twice cutting my lawn. Much better and easier then having to pull the electric cable around
This mower is easy to assemble ,
It gives you a great cut and a striped lawn.
Grass box is large enough.
The different cutting heights are good.
Stores away upright and tidy.
Edge to edge cutting, (check the photos.)
Cable length is good.
Grass collection’s great, picks it all up.
Not so easy to clean underneath the mower .
Not as lightweight as I thought it was.
Not too easy to manoeuvre when turning sharply.
Great Cut ! And that’s the main thing.
Very easy to assemble , cut the lawn as I expected no problems , grass box easy to empty and when I finished it folded down nice and easy for storage , all round a very well designed outfit to assemble use and store .
Overall a good lawnmower. My only complaint is that the stripe produced by the rear roller could be better and the cutting height could be more finely tuned between lowest (scalping) and next lowest.
Easy enough to assemble apart from the awkward and cheap method of raising or lowering the cutting height. For a less mobile person I would suggest the usual gardener, if slightly infirm have assistance to get the cutting height set for regular use as it involves turning the mower upside down and manually and fairly forcefully prising the setting into place. If only flymo just made their cheapest to most expensive with a lever or other mechanism to move the cutting heights. Otherwise a good all rounder for my 2 small lawns of 20′ x 15′ and 15′ x 10′. Goes well over small raised areas and cut is great.

We bought a Flymo EasiStore 380R.
It cuts our grass well. Good grass box, lightweight and easy to remove when it needs emptying, easy to replace to continue grass cutting. Ours came with a 2-year guarantee which required registration on the web. Easy to move the handle between positions for mowing and storage. Stores securely on the (fairly) level and (fairly) even concrete floor of our garage. The upright storage means it takes up much less room than our old lawn mower.
The power cord is as long as that of our previous lawn mower.
The height adjustment is easy enough when you get used to it .
We’re glad we bought this lawn mower.

I bought this to use at my parents house, they have 3 awkward shaped lawns on different levels, so a corded mower was not an option. Having used a petrol mower for 15 years, I was sceptical how good this would be but am pleased to report it works very well and has plenty of power. These lawns take about 40 minutes after which time it’s still going fine but the battery indicator is down to 1 light from 3, so the 1 hour run time is probably about right. Recharging takes about 2 hours and the batteries hold their charge until I next use it a week later. Build quality is ok, consistent with the price tag, should last years in a private garden but not long in commercial use. Grass collection is first rate and the box is big enough for my needs, I empty it twice in 40 mins mowing time. If I could improve one thing it would be to lower the cut height another 5mm so I didn’t have to cut the lawns so often.
This is a good quality mower and easy to store if space is limited. My only complaint was the cable is far shorter than my previous mower and I had to extend it by 5 mts to be able to reach the edges of my lawn. However this problem applies to most mowers on the market not just Flymo.
So easy to store after use. Good range of cutting heights, Level 3 seems to be my usual setting. Would like to use level 2 but it tends to rip up the sod, had to reseed a small area. Good size collecting box.
Couple of dislikes. The adjustment height lever is quite stiff, tends to challenge me as a disabled user. Secondly, the length of the power cable is shorter than my old Flymo Multimow 340. I cant use the old cable because the new mower is hard wired in to the handle control.

Easy to put together. I think I did in 20 mins. I did go a bit wrong when I tightened the lower handles straight. It is a tiny bit tricky to put together single handily. But I did it.
My old flymo which was given to me died.
I got this rotary one. It is small but perfect for my small garden. Love the 5 cutting options really handy. It is light weight.
I only used it once so far. Used the long grass setting. Then the medium grass setting.
But I love it.
And I am so happy I was able to put it together by myself.

Decided to change from the traditional flymo hover as was fed up with cuttings blowing everywhere. Delighted to say this little chap has surpassed expectations and cuts beautifully. I have raised sleeper beds and it cuts tight to edges so no strimmer or shears needed to finish off.
Assembly was very easy and I managed it on my own apart from attaching the upper part of the handle, I just needed an extra pair of hands to hold in place whilst attaching the bolts

I’ve been using an electric cylinder mower (not Flymo) on my medium sized lawn and finding it hard going. Bought this Flymo and assembled and used it yesterday for its first cut. It will take me less than half the time it took me previously to cut my lawn.
Delivery was prompt and assembly is straightforward if you take the time to follow the instructions. It’s not xavtly lightweight but it is well designed to facilitate carrying, and it as a clever mechanism to facilitate space saving storage.
So far I have only used one cutting setting (the lowest). It cuts effectively and is designed in a way to get as close to the edges as possible, handy as it reduces the time needed for strimming.
It leaves a very tidy finish.

From the first cut I was impressed, until the height setting lever reset itself to the lowest level at the slightest undulation in the lawn! This was frustrating but seemed to be caused by a rather tentative locking system which really needed to be designed to be more positive in its engagement. Problem solved with the aid of a bungey strap to beef up the grip of the lock engagement. This should not have been needed with a brand new product!!
I have purchased the Flymo Easistore 340r after 1 week of research.
I have a small garden (up to 100sqm) and this mower does the job. The waste box filled up after mowing about 15m, but I must say the grass in my garden was quite tall, I have left it 3 weeks after it’s been laid.
Easy to assemble, easy to mow, easy to clean, easy to store, and quite lightweight as well.
The electric cord is long enough for a 10m garden and the Mower itself is good for a garden up to 100 sqm or 320 sqft.
Also important, it’s very good looking!

I’m new to all this cordlees equipment, but I’m so glad that I got this product. Its so easy to use and move due to the wheels No wires or petrol to have to think about. If you have a big garden or you have let you grass grow too much, you might need to do your garden in 2 stages while you wait for the battery to charge/ or like me I got some spare batteries.
The product works well and is easy to empty and clean after miwing the lawn. The height adjustment on the blade is useful because this accounts for the stsrt of the growing season.
Cordless mowers are a fantastic idea, I only have a small patch of grass so it’s great to fly around it quickly with no need for petrol or cables.
The performance is excellent but I marked down to 4 because the instructions are rank ( common sense comes into play here!!) and the changing of height levels isn’t great but these are minor faults.
Once up and running it’s easy to operate and incredibly light.
Make sure you check all the screws, nuts and bolts are still tight after every use. I’ve lost several already and have now learned my lesson. I find it too difficult to alter the height of the cutting deck as it’s spring loaded and aggressive. Other than that, it works brilliantly, cuts for about 40 minutes before the batteries need recharging and is perfect for those areas I can’t cut with a bigger machine.

Nice cut and we were surprised at how better the grass looked using this. It’s a lot louder than our old flymo but really picks up the grass and loose bits easily. The best feature is the handle on top for lifting as this is not a light lawnmower and we need to carry a bit of a distance. The cord is much shorter that my old one which could be a problem for some people. Very pleased with product and purchase, hope it lasts another 20 years as did our old flymo!

It takes 4+ hours to charge the batteries from empty & they only last 35-45 minutes at most otherwise this is a great little mower. It is light and easy to manoeuvre & it picks up the grass well. I filled the grass box 5 times (175l) on my first use before the batteries were drained..
Had to replace a 50 year old Qualcast cylinder electric Panther, very reluctant to change to a rotary mower but at the age of 87 did not see the sense in spending 500/600 on a cylinder machine, chose the Flymo having read the reviews of about 10 machines, was nearly put off the Flymo by the reviews saying how difficult it was to assemble, I found the fitting straight forward if you follow the supplied instructions, a piece of advice have a jar of vaseline handy and use it on all screws and in particular on all plastic lugs when pushing two parts together especially assembling the grass box. Have only cut lawn twice so far and result satisfactory obviously not as good as the Panther, but reasonable and for the price very good.
The light weight mower is great for me, because I have joint problems I struggled with my old mower. A bonus is how easy to store this mower is, fitting neatly into a garden tool box in my shed
