Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWir hatten bisher einen Aufsatzfilter fr den Wasserhahn.

We bought a new refrigerator for our kitchen remodel, did not know that the water filters were going to be so expensive. There were no aftermarkets available for this particular model, an oversight on my research before buying. I purchased this to eliminate the tiny overpriced filter that slides into a pocket inside. The install was easy and instructions were clear. I used braided lines during the initial install , this made it super easy. The kit is well packaged and minimal(I like that). Common adapters and thread tape are included as well. I had to bypass the original filter lines, water will not flow without a filter in that “pocket.” This filter has been working for about 6 weeks without any issues. Our coffee tastes great again, it’s all about the coffee in this house.

I have a few different systems around my house to see what I like best. This is third place in my opinion, the Aquacrest product tastes a little bit better. HOWEVER, you can’t beat how easy this was to install, and I got my neighbor to put one in his place as well and he loves it. Still way way better than straight tap water once you’re used to filtered water.

The installation directions tell you to install O-rings in the outlet/inlets, but they don’t include O-rings in their installation kit. If you do this all the time, you stick your finger into the outlet, feel something that’s rubber, and know that they’ve already been installed. If you don’t do this all the time, you wait until morning to call customer service and tell them they’ve not included the O-rings in the installation kit only to be told they’re already installed. Unnecessary waste of time on the consumer’s part. The filter itself works great. Larger volume of water than last filter, and designed for easy access to change the inner filer.

Inlet hose is 1/2″ MPT x 3/8″ compression as expected and is good. But I need the same hose for the outlet filtered side. The outlet hose is 1/2″ MPT by 9/16″ MPT to mate with an existing hose I guess. Useless for my application. Next time I go to town I’ll have to pickup correct parts.

I’m sensitive to the metallic and chlorine smells in tap water. We live in a hard water area and the water isn’t great. Installed this – pretty easy in about 30 mins. The result is that the water now tastes like bottled water and the chlorine smell is no longer noticeable. Clarity is better a lot better but not perfect; it isn’t designed to completely remove the limescale. the All in all, definitely worth the money and won’t live without this now.

Easy to install and the water does taste better. I also see other reviews of people saying They hired a plumber to install it and the plumber said it doesn’t work with their set up That’s a lazy plumber.
And another review saying they have to buy a new filter after 2 or 3 months, your water In your area is dirty The filters last dependent on the quality of the water going through it so that has nothing to do with the product.
Overall the product works my water taste better.

Had a glass of my tap water, and a glass of water from this filtered faucet, difference was insane! Didn’t realize how chlorinated my water is until I did this taste test side by side. My boyfriend, who didn’t think we needed this, was actually amazed and really happy we got this set up. We ended up using a different faucet than the one that came in the kit because they have their part number or whatever on the front of it pretty large, and it ruins the aesthetic of getting a nice stainless steel faucet. Kit is much easier than buying the parts all separated and hoping for the best (which I tried doing first, and couldn’t find another filter that had the PTE piping, just filters to the main faucet). If you find the right faucet and everything separate for cheaper… well good luck finding it and making it work correctly! Relatively easy to install, we just didn’t account for the height of the cartridge versus the clearance behind my sink at first, but we just moved the unit down and it fit perfect. I like the fact that they have replacement cartridges so we don’t have to repurchase the whole set up. One thing though I noticed this cartridge is only supposed to last like 8000 gallons or so, most others are like 20,000 and higher so that’s kind of a downside there. Otherwise great unit! Taste is amazing.

Amazing bit of kit and easy to install, hardest bit was drilling the tap hole in the sink but a step drill bit did the job. I’m glad we chose the tap option rather than the main sink tap as the filtered water is only used for drinking, filling the kettle etc. We live in the Highlands of Scotland and our water regularly tastes of chlorine/chemicals. This filter has changed all of that, the first glass of water from it was a joy but the main test was our dogs, they refused the old water but this filtered water, they lap up. Would recommend.

The install was harder than it needed to be. The adaptors weren’t very good and none of the connectors spun freely which made install a lot harder than it needed to be. If my connections were a little different it might not have been a problem. If things had gone smoothly it would have been a 10 minute job, but due to poor instructions, poor adaptors and low quality fittings it ended up being about a 45 minute job in an uncomfortable position. Not looking forward to the second install under my kitchen sink.

I mean it’s a water filter that works well and the installation process is kinda what you’d expect. A bit bigger than I expected but that’s not really an issue for me.

Although the advertisement stated it was easy to install. I found it just a little complicated due to size of the fittings at the end of the flexible pipes. It would have made it easier if the fittings had been 15mm.
The filter it self is Brilliant. I live in a hard water area and haven`t enjoyed a good cup of tea for years.
The FrizzLife Under sink Filter takes all the impurities out and leaves very tasty water.
I am over the moon with the result and so are my neighbours after I purchased filters for 2 of them and fitted them. I have also recommended one for my son and his family.

I am old and not very flexible to get under sink, wife and i changed it in about 5 min, first time. It was easy,
We have it to remove city water chlorine taste I am sure it is getting rid of some other unwanted things as
well. We grow our veggies so we run a lot of water washing them. Very very pleased with the system. I did not install it the plumber did with new house construction.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been using this for a month and it works fine. However I want to warn people of a problem with flow rate. Initially I was happy that I can collect 5 gallon of filtered water in 2-3 minutes. Then I noticed that the tastes was not as good as when I used a slower rate. there was some chlorine taste, although not as strong as unfiltered water. So now I reduce the rate and typically use 8 minutes to collect 5 gallon water and the taste is great, no chlorine at all. I believe that if you let water run too fast the filter does not have enough time to remove all impurities. Even though the filter can let water go very fast, you need to slow it down to get optimum quality.

I was tired of lugging large cases of water bottles up the stairs after every grocery run so I purchased this filter. When looking for a filter I had a few criteria in mind. 1) The filter had to be easy to install 2) The filter had to be easy to change 3) the filter had to be reasonably compact as to take up very little needed space under the sink 4) The filter had to have a good flow rate 5) The filter had to provide good tasting water I am happy to report that this filter has met and exceeded my expectations in all of these areas. I am happy to recommend this to everyone wanting to purchase a filter for their home.

This went together very easily, and I like that the hose connectors are more of a slip-on connection than a threaded one. It took closer to an hour for me to install because I had to remove a garbage disposal to access the area under my sink, and it was a tight squeeze, but it went in fairly easily.

The only issue I had was with the washer/deck plate for the faucet. I used this in the existing hole for a soap dispenser, and the hole is almost the same size as the deck plate/washer provided for the faucet, so it’s just barely staying in the hole. I need to find a larger washer to place underneath the included one so it fits more securely.

The included faucet is great, though. Nice, smooth laminar flow and it’s not too slow.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe got this because the one we’ve had for so long is no longer available. It was easy to fit to our already in place tap and pipes with pipe reducers, much quicker and easier than replacing the entire thing. That means we have replacement tap and pipes should we need them.
So far you would not know we have a replacement. Water tastes the same.

I bought one of these over a year ago and installed it in my kitchen and wrote the date i installed it on the filter. Exactly 1 year to the date the water flow started to slow down. Per the instructions they have a one year or so many gallons of water lifespan. They install pretty easy, and filter replacement is easy too as long as you don’t misplace the tool for removing the cartridge. I bought a second one for my bathroom sink because the water in Florida has a hydrogen sulfide smell to it. I’ve used several different brands before but i didn’t like the way they installed (small plastic tubes, one broke on me before and flooded the kitchen). These use a braided line with fittings on the ends that screw together, no compression fittings that can pop out.
I am not compensated for this opinion and i bought my filters myself but if frizzlife reads my review and likes it i’ll take more filters 🙂

Like everything about the filter, the water quality and taste except for one initial issue. Everything about the filter was good. No connections were leaking as I followed the instructions properly with included washers etc. Noticed water leak from case lid. I reached out to their customer service through email with the photo. Their response was immediate. They forwarded the email to their Quality Control for review and immediately shipped me a replacement. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with the product and the installation was a breeze which helped me to uninstall and install the replacement. Make sure to insert the connector tubes 1 inch into the filter and use included rubber washer for connectors, blue restraint pin etc. Zero leaks. If the filter case happen to have a leak, you have a world class Warranty/Customer Service to immediately replace it. My first hand experience Just buy it WORRY FREE! You won’t regret.

I used to have a regular single handle kitchen sink faucet with a seperate spray hose. I also used a countertop filter for the last 30 years to get rid of chlorine taste. It makes a big difference in coffee. My setup wasn’t bad, but I decided to upgrade the kitchen faucet to a high arc single spout/pull out sprayer model. I figured I could simplify by going with the new single spout kitchen faucet and an undersink filter with a faucet where the old sprayer was. It’s perfect for me. I love it, no more countertop filter and the faucet itself is very slick, operates very smoothly. It was kind of a pain with the countertop filter always having to use a diverter. Not with the water filter faucet, pull the handle down filtered water on tap! I wished I bought a brushed stainless kitchen faucet (mine’s chrome) to match the Frizzlife faucet’s appearance. but they don’t look too bad together. Installation was just like the video, surprisingly easy. I’m not mechanical, you can do this. As far as taste, I did have to run it a few minutes, but it’s great now. Tastes good to me. I think this taste improving filter system is as good as any on the market, and I like the fact that it’s a real company with an actual website (some of these vendor’s are fly by night). I had a question sent an email and got a quick response. I hope they do well as this does appear to be a proprietary filter. Filters don’t look that expensive if they last as long as they say. Anyway, I think it’s worth it.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersIt was easy to install. Just Ned to take care of routing and use the supplied ptfe tape and take time.

The chlorine spell has gone completely and water tastes fine.

The flow from the tap is good, just a touch less but to me that’s ok/good because given the level of filtration and the relatively compact size of the cartridge I’d be curious if their was no drop in flow (think other reviews were saying about flow but filters always have sone effect on flow , especially smaller ones)

Anyway time will tell as this is day one.

I don’t use lots of water so
If it clogs quickly (less than 3 months) or other issues I’ll update review.

But in the meantime it’s going to be nice clean water, all along the way!

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersI just got it yesterday so my review is limited to the product as delivered. I am very pleased. Installation literally could not have been easier to accomplish and I’m in my 70’s, kneeling down and getting under a kitchen sink is not a trivial challenge. It probably took me less than ten minutes to accomplish the plumbing part of the product.

Our water didn’t taste good, now it does, really good. I am a little unsure what is actually filtered because it explains that it doesn’t filter out minerals and most solids. But it also says it prevents waterspots, which implies it reduces or eliminates those minerals. At any rate our water here is extremely hard so I’m not sure what to expect overall. However clean taste and presumably safe water, the chlorine smell and flavor is gone. And for the money and convenience that’s a terrific improvement. I will be able to stop buying bottled water and even if I replace the filter twice a year I’ll save at least $200 a year.

After a little less than a year, the first faucet I received started leaking at the black ring between the handle and the main faucet body. After emailing Frizzlife, they immediately sent me a replacement. The replacement works great, and I noticed the handle turns much smoother. I’m guessing the first faucet was defective in the first place: the handle was so tight that turning the faucet on and off sometimes caused the whole faucet to spin a little on the sink.

The water tastes great. The water here in Jacksonville smells and tastes really bad, and after going through this filter it tastes like bottled water. We have a water softener that adds some salt to our water, which gives a flavor closer to Dasani. Without the water softener, the water tastes more neutral like Nestle to us (which we honestly don’t like much, but we have the water softener, so we get that little salt flavor).

Installation is pretty easy. The hardest part is climbing into the cabinet to get the faucet in place behind the sink, but that’s unavoidable. Having to put in the faucet, then attach the plastic connector to the bottom, and then the tube is three steps of climbing into the cabinet. The plastic connector feels like an extra step that perhaps could be removed with a thicker thread on the faucet so that it can slip through the hole in your countertop with the plastic piece attached, but then you would have to make a larger hole in your countertop. We have an extra hole in our sink, so we have a big hole already, but others may like the small hole required by this faucet.

Price wise, this is a great deal. We needed something easy, quick, and cheap when we moved, so this works great. We may upgrade to a nicer faucet some day, particularly if this replacement faucet also only lasts a year.

First faucet started leaking at the handle, but was replaced quick and easy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersInstallation was simple, other than having to lay under the sink. I decided to mount the faucet in the corner of the sink shelf (see pic) – however I didn’t drill quite far enough away from the rolled edge to allow use of the included base. The water tastes so much better after filtering. Tap appears to be good quality – very happy with this purchase.

These kind of things are hard enough to install because I got such a small kitchen sink and it’s busy under there. The included instructions did not help. They are not done “Cookbook” style: insert part a into slot b. It’s more like: connect the incoming line to the water supply. And the pictures are small! Only upon completion did I notice helpful things included in the package like a razor and plumping tape. Instructions never mentioned them! However, luckily, even not using these items I installed the appliance successfully with no leaks!

Looks smart and provides COPIOUS filtered water output. Hope I’m done with messing with filtered water appliances for a decade!

I don’t do reviews on amazon products very often because I simply order too much to make time to write a review. So when I do write a review it’s because I am thoroughly impressed. We ordered this water filtration system for our kitchen in our apartment. When my husband went to install it, the parts included were too small for the connections that were under our sink. My husband told me to return it, and I was so disappointed that I decided to reach out to the company and see if they could help. I emailed them and within 12 hours I received a reply from their customer service team member- Emily. Who was so helpful and understood right away what we needed and sent me the parts we needed asap at no additional charge!!! My water filtration system has been in for a week now and I absolutely love it! The water (that was hard water before) is clear, tastes great and the faucet is perfect! I drink a gallon of water per day, and I am now able to use my sink water instead of ordering water constantly from the store!

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI have had this for over a year now and absolutely love it. I am very picky about how my water tastes and this tastes great and keeps in the essential minerals in water that your body needs but removes the harmful ones!
I finally ordered a new filter after a year of using it (I was out of town a lot so didn’t think it needed to be changed any sooner) and it was only $19.99. However, I had not received or lost the wrench that initially came in the package that should be used to replace the filter, so I reached out to customer service and they quickly and kindly sent me a new one (NOTE: KEEP THE WRENCH HANDY!!!) Then, while changing the filter, the head got bent and it wouldn’t go back on. Customer service offered to send me a new head to fix the issue.
I’m grateful for their quick and kind service and the great product ! You don’t find good customer service often.

I don’t know who the person who picks the adapter valve is but they are dead wrong. No wonder some of the reviews say this causes extensive water damage to their homes. The photo on the left shows the correct hose going on the correct side of the fitting to my faucet, the one on the right shows how the bottom of the valve should look (the gold one is correct), the little tube sticking out holds the rubber gasket in place. So the fitting is not ever going to hold the gasket in place no matter how tight you make it. These type of fittings do not use thread tape, I don’t know why it’s included in this kit. And off to the hardware/ plumbing store you go! You’ll need a compression washer (it’s tapered), an adapter or a new valve. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars across the board…

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI purchased a home with a lead service line. COVID has delayed my municipality replacing my line and I don’t know when things will be rescheduled… The water pitcher I was provided is slow to fill and doesn’t have the capacity to cover my family drinking / cooking / brushing teeth etc. So, I decided to give the MK99 a try while I am waiting for a permanent solution. The tap water tastes great, better than the pitcher. I can’t speak to how long the filter will last – but if you have a serious problem like lead, there are very few verified/NSF 53 options for under $500… Most inexpensive systems do not specify or aren’t effective with lead. Even if I have to replace the filter every 2 months, $20 is a small price to pay for potable water!! I plan to have my water re-tested at this tap and will update with the results. Fingers crossed.

I hardly ever write reviews but my experience with the FRIZZLIFE water filter & their excellent customer service made me bend the knee & pay homage.

I live in NYC where supposedly we are ranked to have some of the cleanest tap water in the nation. My household only drinks water, tea, coffee & ice smoothies, all which require water. I still end up paying a fortune per month on bottled water. At the start of the pandemic I decided to purchase this filter. Funny how it takes drastic circumstances to force drastic change.

I can confidently say that this is one of the best home improvement purchases that I have made in recent memory. The water taste just as refreshing as bottled water & I saved a ton of money already. Not to mention it makes me feel good that I can play a small contribution by eliminating our use of plastic bottles & reducing our carbon footprint.

Now a few words about their EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

After 6 months I attempted to change the filter as advised but the water pressure was so intense that the cartridge lid was completely sealed shut. Not even a commercial grade monkey wrench could open it. I reached out to FRIZZLIFE customer service via email. Shortly have my initial contact, I received a prompt reply from Emily. I explained my situation to her in detail . After confirming my order number, to my surprise she offered to send a brand new unit out to me free of charge. I was truly shocked. Emily was so kind & professional that she kept correspondence with me until it was delivered & she even checked back a final time to make sure the new installation was properly working.

SIDENOTE – I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO ROUTINELY OPEN THE FILTER EVERY 6 TO 8 WEEKS JUST TO RELEASE SOME OF THE WATER PRESSURE

I can not say enough good things about how effective this filter is & the amazing customer service. Shout out to EMILY…..You deserve a raise.

If you’re on the fence about getting an affordable low maintenance water filter then delay no longer. Purchase it today, you will be glad that you did.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersBeen using it for 6+ months. Very easy to install, change filters. Water tastes great, flow is awesome and a plus that it filters lead which many other brands sell a separate filter for lead alone. I use it to filter city supplied water.

    2 years update –
On city water the filter lasted almost 2 years. A new filter costs around $40, adding the cost of the entire unit the total cost of ownership of this filter system is way better than competitors. Safe to say if you have decent city water this unit will last long.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI chose this model because you could install it so that your filtered water is separate from your faucet cold water. I can now get filtered water when needed but wasn’t wasting filtered water to rinse the dishes which would make you go through more filters. I found the install easy, I used the hole that was on my faucet where a soap dispenser was installed, took that out and that allowed me to put this new faucet in it’s place. One thing the company might think off adding to their product is a washer that has a wedge on one side to level out the faucet if people chose to use this hole that’s provided on some faucets. I was able to use the wedge washer from the soap dispenser that I removed but if I didn’t have this wedged washer the faucet would have leaned to the side a bit as the plate that the faucet sits on is not totally level. The worst part of my install was trying to get under my sink with the dishwasher drain lines, garbage disposal, drain pipes etc.. it was super tight but I managed to do it without having to unhook or move anything so that made me happy!! There is a warning on product that someone could miss and I wanted to point out: once unit is installed and everything has been checked for water leaks turn your filtered water to run fully open for 10 minutes to prep the new filter before using your faucet.
The water tastes amazing, no weird flavors, crisp and clean!! I just installed this today so I’m hoping this filter will work for me long term. I found the directions for install to be more than adequate (also watched video on product page) and the install of the product was easy! I recommend this product, try it, I think you’ll like it!

    Love It! Water tastes great!!

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersMoved into a house where the well is out in a lake, and despite the well being filtered, having a standard sand filter and water softener on top of it for the house, the sink water always tasted nasty. Part of that was due to the anti rust stuff the softener salt had (which we discontinued), and just the nature of the lake water.

Well, let me tell you, the picture I attached is the filter after just short of six months of usage! Just swapped it out tonight as the sink had gone down to a trickle this week. The pic doesn’t do it justice how much junk it really filtered out!

The taste was gone instantly and the water began to taste great. No odd particulates, odors, etc. were coming out anymore. We use the cold water a lot in our home. Aside from dishes, we make iced tea, fill up the tea kettle, coffee maker, fill up the ice cube trays, etc. What a world of difference in quality and taste this filter made!

Let me also tell you, I HATE plumbing related work when I have to do it myself. I will do electrical work all day long, but plumbing is a chore. This was so ridiculously easy to install, I thought I got it wrong the first try. Well it was a breeze to install AND change the filter out.

I’m so impressed with this filter I’m bothering to do this review!

    Great filter, worth every penny!!!

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersVery pleased with this filter so far. Install was easy. I simply followed the video instructions. No pipe tape needed, I just made sure connections were snug but not overly tight. I didn’t mount mine as it fits snug between my Ikea free standing cabinet and the wall. I noticed immediately that the water tastes much better than my old DuPont WFFM350XCH. I can’t believe the difference and wasn’t really expecting that. It’s SO NICE not having the filter on my faucet and also not having to switch between filter/unfiltered. It’s also nice that this unit is only on the cold water as accidentally running warm/hot water through your filter can damage it. No chance of that here. The other benefit is that the water flow is GREAT! My old filter it took forever to fill a glass of water. Not anymore, this flows very quickly. Only thing I wish this had was some kind of flow meter so you could know the gallons cleaned. I’m going to give mine a year and see how it’s doing. I know from my old filter that I would flow around 200 gallons every six months. That will increase of course since this filters all my cold water but I would expect I can easily get a couple years out of this filter.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersSo far it has been pretty good. About the same or better than the the Pur faucet attached filter it was replacing. Water tastes very clean and good pressure. I do also have 2 ten inch whole house filters sitting at the front of my supply- sediment and carbon block (both 5 micron). This one says it is half a micron. Installation was pretty straight forward even though I hate doing plumbing. For some reason my kit came with double the fittings and hardware and two of the filter wrenches. *shrugs* I like the little tube connector fittings. They are like tiny sharkbite fittings. And they work just as well. No leaks thus far even though i was in a hurry getting it installed. As stated by others, the included faucet is a little on the wobbly side, but no too terrible. I can be easily rotated out of the way so you don’t bang pots and pans off if it. I looked up alternative faucets and they are pretty pricey and didn’t really look like they offered anything better. So I will stick with this one. I will say the one thing that made me choose this one was the fact that you replaced the inner filter, not the entire cartridge like others. This allows the replacement filters to cost much less. Overall, I would recommend this product, especially at this price point. Their website is also useful if you want info, support, or buy replacement parts (out of Colorado). Finally, I know a lot of people like to complain that this product isn’t NSF/ANSI/42/53 certified. However, it IS independently tested by IAPMO R&T against those standards who happened to be accredited by…you guessed it.. American National Standards Institute (ANSI). So you are safe people, you are safe.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersThe FrizzLife MK-99 is the perfect water filtration system for us. We bought the MK-99 to replace the Pentek 3G — Standard — Clear 34 PR-10 unit we installed in 2018, because our local water company’s latest water quality report indicated a level of lead (11-ppb) which in our opinion was too close to the MCL (Maximum Contaminant Level — 15ppb) allowed in drinking water. The Pentek only removed sediment, chlorine and bad taste. Based on that Water Quality Table Report, the last test for lead was done in August 2017, so the level could be higher. The MK-99 is advertised to remove 99.9% of LEAD, HEAVY METALS, CHLORINE, CHROMIUM 6, MERCURY, RUST, VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS, CARCINOGENS, AND OTHER CONTAMINANTS, for up to 1-year (depending on the quality of the water supplied for filtration). I plan to send filtered water samples to an independent test facility in the near future to verify the results. But so far, we are extremely pleased in the product design and customer service. On request, they expedited an additional Inlet hose to us which made installation into my existing plumbing a breeze!! They deserve more than 5-Stars!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLet me begin by stating that when I purchased the filter really wasn’t sure what size my water supply valve was or what the size the filter valve was. It turns out they sizes were different from each other so I wasn’t able to install it initially. When I contacted Frizzlife they responded quickly and they they told me that I needed and adapter like the one in the MK99 kit. They were kind enough to send one to me and it arrived within two days. I was then able to install the filter with out a problem.

The installation process is easy thanks to the video. The hardest part in my case was attaching the adapters since it adds two more places where the system might leak. Sure enough, I had a leak in the smaller part of the adapter. This was because the adapter is so low profile that it was hard to tighten. Eventually I was able to tighten it enough to stop the leak.

Lastly, regarding the actual quality of the filtered water. It tastes a little different to my preferred store bought filtered water but not bad. Honestly, the taste is not as good as other filters but the huge savings and ease of use make up for it. I purchased the MP99 due to lack of space but I would assume the SP99 water would taste even better. All and all, I like this filter and the love the savings even more. If you are not too picky about taste I would deeply recommend this filter.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFrizzlife Part Number MP99 Believe it or not, I went through four (4) different below $100 undersink filters. NEVER by a GE-branded filter in this class. They are poorly designed, will eventually leak, and are unforgiving wen installing. I know because when my ld GE filter failed, I ordered an new GE filter and it was crap. I am not a rookie at home plumbing or water filter installation. The Frizzlife filter reviewed hear (undersink with separate faucet) was a breeze to install and can be easily disassembled if after installation you want to change or clean up the routing of the pipes or the placement of the filter body. NOTE: If you have an older home that has a supply line that ends in the common 1/2″ copper pipe threads, you will need an adapter because this system attaches to what are called ‘3/8″ compression threads’ (despite the fact that the connection is not a compression connection). This is common these days. Search for “Frizzlife Brass NPT Thread Pipe Fitting Converter – 1/2 to 3/8 inch” on Amazon if you need the adapter. You can also buy an adapter suitable for potable water at Lowes or Home Depot, but you have to know walking in exactly what you need. Either way, an adapter will cost you between $6 and $8 extra. This filter kit cam e well packaged, and all of the components appear to be quality components. One handy feature is that they supply a valve in the line going to the faucet for the filtered water. If for some reason you want to remove the filer or have a leak down that branch, you can just close the valve. All of the plastic hoses are retained by clips. If you remove those clips, you can take the hose out of the coupling and shorten or reroute it. The faucet itself is nicely made, looks good and functions well. We like having the separate faucet because our water quality is good enough that we only need filtered water for cooking and consumption. If I am washing my hand for ten minutes after doing auto repair, I don’t need to use up the filter life for that. Filters are expensive, especially for some companies, but Frizzlife filter are less expensive and last a long time. So, this water filter update in my kitchen sink was something of an ordeal. If I had ordered the Frizzlife filter the first time, it would have been a piece of cake. I’m just a homeowner with no connections or affiliations with any company. I am simply very pleased with this product after searching for hours to choose the best option and going through two duds before finally receiving this Frizzlife undersink unit.

Absolutely Amazing. I considered a reverse osmosis system but didn’t have room for the tank. And I saw lots of other options out there but this one was very cost effective, got great reviews, and the filters were inexpensive ($20) and lasted 1-3 years (at that price I’ll change it every 6 months).

So easy to install. My stainless steel sink didn’t have an extra hole so I drilled the 1/2″ hole as recommended.

The only obstacle I ran into was due to my current kitchen sink configuration. I have a rigid copper supply line going from the cold water valve to the kitchen faucet so I couldn’t disconnect it to connect the water filter’s valve.

Fortunately my existing cold water supply valve is a dual valve, with the other side connected to a flexible line for the water supply to the ice maker (which I don’t use). I connected the frizzlife valve to that side, and purchased a 3/8″ outside diamemeter compression cap and used that with some teflon tape to close off the unused side of the valve.

The whole install was really easy, the flow is much faster than I expected, and the water tastes so much better!!!

Install was fairly straightforward. It doesn’t take up much room under the sink. Very convenient. Takes care of our typically very rusty and smelly water. I had it for about a month. Water still has a slight taste, but overall a vast improvement. I have recommended it to my friends.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersBought this filter almost 4 months ago and it is still working fine. No water pressure issues or leaks. Water is really great without any chlorine taste or smell. I was deciding between this and 2 other cheaper options. I highly recommend investing in a good quality one. If you do buy a cheaper one double check the price of replacement filters because those could add up in cost depending on how often you’d have to replace them. No need for Brita any longer. Love this filter.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFast delivery. Easy to install once I got the proper bit to drill through sink And counter. One hose connector defective but their support sent me a replacement very quickly. I like the taste as opposed to regular tap water. Flow is really good too. A tip is to remove old plummers tape and put on fresh stuff that is provided and not to over tighten.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOur water supply tastes horrible so we’ve been buying bottled water for years. I’ve been wanting to get away from the bottled water so I looked at reverse osmosis and filters.
For the reverse osmosis systems I didn’t like the space they took under the sink as well as the amount of water they waste. They also seemed like overkill for what I needed. My city water report didn’t look bad so I didn’t have health concerns, I just wanted better taste.
Looking at filtered water I thought it would do what I needed. I chose the Frizzlife because it came with a separate faucet for the filtered water, it looked like it had good specifications, and the operating cost seemed low.
The filter took me about 30 minutes to install. Not sure about 5 minute installation times that people claim. Maybe this is just to replace the filter, or maybe their sink has a lot of room to work.
The filtered water doesn’t have any odor and it tastes pretty good. Not quite as good as bottled water or the reverse osmosis water at my work, but it’s pretty good.
I definitely made the right choice and I would recommend it to others.
The hardware comes with 3/8″ fittings but my plumbing has 1/2″ fittings. I emailed Frizzlife and they were very helpful and responsive. Props to their customer service, they were a big reason why I gave this filter 5 stars.

I’m from that age group who saw bottled water introduced into the market, along with the hype that it was somehow better than the well-water I grew up on. Although bottled water tasted fine and was convenient, I questioned the effectiveness of plastics recycling.

But I’m not here to debate the plastics recycling topic but installing the Frizzlife MK99 under-counter filter has allowed me to stop buying bottled water altogether.

The filter is relatively easy to install. I say that because installing the mounting bracket and hanging the cartridge assembly is a snap. The problem I had was with the hoses Frizzlife provided. They simply would not seal and I could not get the slow drip to stop. Finally, I went by Home Depot and picked up a couple of connecting lines – (3/8″ to 3/8″ FIP/MIP) that fixed my problem.

I’ve had the filter system in place sine 2019 and to date, the water tastes fine. Frizzlife’s online Q&A states the filter does not support well water but it works on mine. I replace the cartridge every 6 months. The old cartridge has some iron deposits but otherwise, it’s clean. I also found the best deal on replacements is the 3 pack, sold directly through Frizzlife.

Bottom line is I haven’t had plastic bottle of water in the house since.

I had been looking for a replacement for the usual “faucet water filter” for a while because of the cost of filters and the short length of time between changes. I researched this product and found it to fit my needs. I had also wanted to replace my kitchen faucet so I changed it along with this filter system and I couldn’t be happier.

It looks great: sleek metal appearance with a single handle that it easy to use. Easy to install: had this ready to use in 30 minutes or less.

TIP: Make sure to push the blue hose in all of the way. When you think it is good, go back and do it again because I did and saw that I had not set it proper. Good thing I double checked before turning the water on.

Taste: water tastes as good as any filtered water system I have used in the past and I’m confident it is clean water because I have a dog that will not drink water unless it is filtered and she likes this very much. I also tested my water before and after to make sure.

Flow rate: I can not say enough about this because it is what makes it so much better than the rest. 16 oz of water in 10 sec flat. It is amazing!

If you are looking for clean, fast, and great tasting water than this is for you!

Golden Review Award: 103 From Our Usersof course you could spend much more for a multi-stage reverse-osmosis filter system (hundreds of dollars). I reviewed all of my options for cost effective systems… paying particular attention to the cost of replacement filters (they can really add up and some systems have compact filters that need to be replaced frequently. ) fighting a bad head cold I was able to install this under my sink in about a half hour… that included unwrapping the filter, reading instructions, gathering a couple of tools (drill, screwdriver, and small wrench), clearing out under sink, and installing. I did not utter even one swear word during the entire process. That’s rare for me and household projects. I suggest using a generous amount of teflon tape (provided) when installing the supply lines to the filter housing. On the first pass I had no leaks to mend.
like all filter systems there is a slight reduction in water flow… maybe 10% I’d guess. After flushing the new filter, I drank my first glass of filtered water. Gone is the taste and smell of chlorine. Gone is the strange “plastic” taste our water had developed over the past couple of years. It really tastes like a glass of clean spring water… no chemicals… not as flat tasting as distilled… just a subtle presence of minerals which imparts a pleasant taste. Hope you enjoy this filter as much as we are. Good luck. Cheers!

Easy to install and immediate improvement in water quality

. . . You will not be disappointed. There were two things at frist that I thought were going to be an epic fail. One was the way you have to remove the unit from the bracket. You have to rotate it almost straight vertical to remove the unit from the bracket. I thought, wow how is that going to work under my sink? D’oH! The filter unit removes from the head with a quarter turn. Then the instructions call for putting two washers into the head. I had installed the hoses and when they bottomed out with teflon tape, I looked and looked and couldn’t find the washers! Another D’oH moment. They are already installed into the head. I even wrote the company and then found out they were installed. The company wrote righe back soon after I discovered my mistake and told me that they install them for our convenience.

So, now it’s installed and my city water that’s full of chlorine now tastes great! One last thing, from my little bit of plumbing experience, since the hoses seal on rubber washers, do not tighten them down with some two hundered pounds of torque, lol. Just good and snug. No, I didn’t make this mistake, just pointing it out.

So, just buy this unit, installation is easy peasy and enjoy much better tasting water from your city tap. Highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 165 From Our UsersI almost bought a 3M Filtrete system mostly because 3M has been around almost forever and I expect so will their replacement cartridges but after calling 3M TWICE to simply try and figure out whether or not this system could hook to 1/2″ water supply and not being able to get an intelligable answer, and the fact that I’m not a fan of tubing and push to connect connectors I decided to buy the Frizzlife.

    So glad I did for the following reasons;

    1) I have braided stainless lines all the way from the water supply to the faucet. No tubing, no push connectors, etc. etc.
    2) I LOVE the fact that the filter holder/cannister is flat bottomed and large enough to stand on it’s on. I didn’t even use the mounting bracket, which for me, worked out better.
    3) Love the fact that it’s 1/4 turn twist off and don’t have to shut off the water to change filters.
    4) Doesn’t hurt that the replacement cartridges are about 2/3 the price of everyone else’s either.
    5) Frizzlife includes all parts needed for connection to either 3/8″ or 1/2″ water supply and faucet.

It’s been up and running for several days now and water simply taste as it should, clean.

One reviewer wrote about “milky” water coming out. Of course it does at first, IT’S FULL OF AIR. Once you run the water for just a few minutes it clears up perfectly and its great water.

Once I got my old filter out, it literally took 5 minutes at most to hook this up.

    Glad I bought the Frizzlife!

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersI’ve had water filters where you had the little spout for filtered water and before this I had one of those Pur devices that you mount on your faucet which then gets in the way of most of the stuff you want to do in the sink.

In our new kitchen we have a much deeper sink and one of those neat faucets that is retractable so the Pur system wasn’t really an option. I looked around for a better option and found this company and I liked the responsive and helpful attitude they displayed in their online communications.

Unfortunately, installing the device was so quick and easy and it has worked perfectly since then so I haven’t had a reason to call in and get some of that sweet sweet customer service for myself. This device filters all of the cold water on the sink it is installed on and maintains 80-85% of the flow rate which is really wonderful.

I have two aquariums and I like to use filtered water for those – filling 5 gallon buckets for water changes was tediously long with my prior filtering systems but this one is almost as fast as without any filter.

Water tastes great, I’ve run a number of tests on the filtered water and their claims are accurate – the filtered water is really clean – I drink 3-4 liters a day so having a good quality and convenient water filtration system is really important to me – this one is the best I’ve ever had.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersAs far as water filtration systems go I previously had the Woder 3yr system and it was good. I didn’t like the fact that it reduced the pressure of the cold water line though. Plus the cold water line ran through the filter exclusively.
When I saw this system and saw the install videos and read the reviews I thought it was worth a shot since my Woder system was at the end of its 3 year life cycle.

    PROS——————————————————————————————————————————–
Easy to install- The hardest part of my install was drilling the 1/2 inch hole through granite counter top.
once that was done install was a breeze.
They provide you with everything you need to plus more and the instructions were simple to read with pictures to assist.
The quality of the filter, parts, and faucet are decent for the price of this system.

    CONS——————————————————————————————————————————–
My only (2) complaints with this system are the silicone tape that they provide is a little cheap and had to go get my
plumbing tool case to get my own which is much better and usually found at Home Depot.
My second complaint is with the Faucet. while it is a good, decent piece it is a little shaky in regards to the spout of the faucet. A sturdier version would make this kit a worthy under sink water filtration system.

Overall great buy and this might be the last sink water filtration I buy…

The last water filtration system I ever buy...maybe

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe did a lot of research into under sink systems and found this one to be fine value compared to others with 4-6 filters. A couple of noteworthy items:

    – first one delivered was broken where it needed to be attached to wall under the sink. Amazon very quickly sent us a new one; Fizzlife customer support also contacted me to ask what they could do and if we were ok.

    – installation says on box that it’s easy to install in 3 minutes. CAUTION: If you have never done this before, it ISN’T quick and easy. We found a youtube video to walk us through. Helped A LOT.

We lost one of the tiny blue clips that came in the box and had to postpone initial install. We contacted Fizzlife again by email and heard back that even though we did not need them (??? the instructions said we did), they would send them along through amazon. Amazon sent along clips but wrong ones! OW!!! Fizzlife said they would resend through amazon even though we didn’t need them —– one of the tubes was spraying water, so we felt we needed those clips and waited. FINALLY installation was complete and the product is TERRIFIC. VERY HAPPY. The install took well over a week.

    – Something about their customer support that you should know. They are very responsive BY EMAIL and provided good information and were very supportive. They say they are available 24/7, but it was only by email and honestly, there was a lag there. And our frustration was building because we wanted to be done with the install. We kept trying to provide our phone number but they never called.

Also, the instructions in the box talked told us to install the clips; the company said we didn’t need them. OK, folks, you NEED to fix your documentation!!! I now have a pile of blue clips — anybody need any?

    So, YES, buy this product!

Golden Review Award: 70 From Our UsersI have previously owned a reverse osmosis system with a series of three filters, each of which was contained in a shell which needed to be removed to change the filter element. At the time, that was the standard type of filter holder. Fast forward to today and these filters simply twist on and off. The do not screw in. Rather, it’s less than one full turn to lock them in. In addition, the piece into which the filter cartridge swings up 90 degrees, which makes it even a bit easier to change.

Regarding installation, for most folks, it should be quite simple. For me, I found that my Grohe bar faucet had proprietary fittings at the faucet, so the fittings which came with the Frizzlife filter didn’t fit. The Frizzlife output hose has a 1/2″ MIP fitting which screws into the filter housing, so I thought I should be able to insert a 1/2″ MIP to 3/8″ male compression adapter, then simply unscrew my current supply line and attach it to the 3/8″ compression fitting on the adapter. That didn’t actually work, however, because the threads on the filter housing go deeply into the housing. The adapter’s threaded portion was shorter than is on the Frizzlife output hose, so the end of the MIP fitting failed to seat on the gasket in the housing. So, I moved on to Plan C — attaching the Frizzlife and Grohe hoses directly together using their complementary 3/8″ compression fittings. It’s a little more hose than I’d prefer, but it worked great. So in short, I unscrewed the current supply hose from the shutoff valve, screwed Frizzlife input hose onto the valve, then connected the Frizzlife output hose to the current supply hose.

One other note…. The mounting screws provided are quite long. Had I used them on my island cabinetry, which is constructed of 3/4″ maple plywood, the screws would have protruded through to the other side.

How’s the water taste? GREAT!!! And the flow rate is excellent.

Frizzlife customer service was fairly quick via email (less than a day) and they even offered to pay for the 1/2″ MIP to 3/8″ Compression adapter, but that proved unnecessary. It was a nice gesture anyway.

Golden Review Award: 304 From Our UsersI got this MK99 around 2 weeks ago, went with Frizzlife brand search and directly bought this one as my friend told me that I might want to try this filter, so yes, she got one and now I have one too. Ok, I will share for now why it’s worthy a 5 star!

Star 1, the packaging of the product is with a decent pack, not luxury but very neat! LOVE

Star 2, with the help of instruction and the YouTube installation video, the installation is without a hitch, it’s amazing that I don’t need a plumber to do this, Installation took me 7 minutes and 16 seconds, LOVE

Star 3, the water taste is just like a real water it should be, orderless and taste great! 1000 times better!! Use test kit for the chlorine and LEAD, it’s just work as described. LOVE

Star 4, for how convenient it is to replace the filter, the cost of replacement is very reasonable, no more Brita and no more struggling for the refrigerator filter. I tried twist off the container without shutting off the valve, it’s amazing that no water come out from the head, what a technology!! LOVE

Star 5, I suppose this will for the customer service, my first test was using TDS meter, not happy with the result, emailed the company and they are sooo quick to help me out and NOW I KNOW WHY, searched from google as well, TDS is only used for Reverse Osmosis system and to check how good the RO does, but RO has no mineral in water , that’s why. The water from the Frizzlife MK99 leaves all essential minerals in the water, which is very good!! LOVE

Overall, I highly recommend! And hope my review is helpful for everyone who is still hesitating whether to buy.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersUpdate: the horrible experience is over. The filter works great and looks really good. It took me a few days to get over the trauma of having to install half of it twice, but it wasn’t the seller’s fault that someone in the distribution center dropped it and the parts were damaged.

I’ve given it four stars now because the seller was really proactive to try and help me and to make things right. They went above and beyond to make me feel like my very frustrated voice was heard.

My continued caution, this is much easier with two people. One on the outside to hold components in place, and one small person to do all of the monkeying around under the sink. One person can do it, but it may be a pain in the butt.

    The start of the story:
Thus far, the first unit was damaged, the second unit came in two days later. Started the installation with the first unit (installed everything but the filter itself as the mount was broken) Finished installing the unit (the first time after the second unit was installed). Installation is pretty easy but my space under the sink is small so it was a struggle. Sadly, there is barely any water flow. I ran it for fifteen minutes and the water flow hasn’t improved at all. Frankly it stops sometimes. Still haven’t heard anything from customer service but I diagnosed the issue. The faucet from the first kit had failed as well.

Now I have reinstalled everything in my very cramped cabinet. If it had worked the first time I’d give it five stars. If it had worked the second time I would have given it four stars because it arrived damaged. I understand that it was the same unit that arrived damaged that caused me to have to undo everything again to install it all a third time. But they loose another star for that.

I’ll give it three stars and a warning. This thing is a pain in tight spaces. If I had a second pair of hands helping then maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad. But the aggravation of this unit arriving so faulty from amazon has me really frustrated.
