Filter is great and does what it is supposed to do. Only problem is that it can’t be connected to a fridge waterline since it is 3/8″ and comes with no adapter to fridge 1/4″ fitting. Sad…

Filter installs easily and works well. Unfortunately it works almost too well. The water pressure dropped considerably after just 2 months of use in a New York City apartment.
If you look at other reviews, the result is that this device does not work at all; although I used as comparison the water check results from my county and there is a bit of difference in terms of macro particles.
So if you expect this to clean your water from small particles, you are going to be disappointed; but for anything else it is a good filter. For comparison it is better than a Brita filter, so that is what you should use to compare this filter system with.

The day I received this filter I started wondering why I waited so long to install one. The overall TCO is about the same as my previous pitcher which was amongst the lower-end priced pitcher filters certified for lead reduction (just like this one).
This filter came with the faucet and all hardware needed for installation besides standard tools (a drill and wrench), and that even includes a valve on the T adapter so you can shut the filter independently from the normal faucet. The filter cartridge can be taken off without shutting off the water inlet (a towel is needed as there’s always a bit of water going out when removing the filter) and a bypass allow using the faucet with the cartridge removed (water obviously won’t be filtered while in bypass).
Water taste good and this solution is much more convenient than a pitcher. The flow is stronger than I would’ve expected and within a month I’ve already saved more time I’d spend filling up my pitcher than it took me installing the faucet!
Definitely a great buy if you’re not scared of drilling your sink or countertop. Besides the T adapter which is a simple screw-on adapter the piping is very simple to cut and connect.
I was compelled to write this after reading the moronic review by lfpc10 about how they didn’t think it removed lead in their water. Can you even read lfpc10? It says In the pamplet when you get the filter not to test for total dissolved solids. So what did you test for? Total dissolved solids. You can’t even read but we should take your advice? The reading even went down when you used it and yet you didn’t stop to ask yourself why or read the instructions?
Personally, I like this thing. I live in an area that has had a dubious water supply in the past so I put it in for added protection. You can clearly taste that the chlorine had been removed. That’s because the filter does not let chlorine or molecules larger than that through. It does however let smaller electrolytes through which would still give you a higher total dissolved solids reading. An activated charcoal filter would remove these even though they may be beneficial.
The installation went as expected. A day later a quarter cup of water had collected in a container that happened to be under the water filter. I wrapped a half sheet of paper towel around each fitting and one around the canister body. The wraps around the fittings remained dry. The wet towel around the canister made it clear the cannister seal was the source of the small leak.
Unscrewing the filter canister proved quite difficult. It is unlikely it could have been remove without damaging the casing without a tool like the oil filter wrench I used. With this band wrench i was able to get enough torque to twist it open.
Lubricating the dry O-ring with plumbers silicone and some on the cam joint allowed everything to slip back into place and stopped the seepage.
My assumption is that when the canister body was initially twisted into place the dry O-ring was stretched enough in an area to allow water to pass by it. Rough texture or out of round O-ring grooves could also be contributing factors.
This is not likely to be a common problem and would not keep me from recommending this well designed and relatively inexpensive water filtration unit.
I bought this because it had both NSF 42 and 53 ratings. This makes a big difference. I have had it for a year now and it has been great. I mistakenly threw away the plastic tool needed to open the unit in order to replace the filter cartridge. The company was so nice and sent me another one for free. Not long after that my unit developed a small leak and they sent me a new one for free! This was after a year of ownership. I am really impressed and happy with the filter. I also got the ice maker kit that they offer so my ice tastes better too. I would recommend this to anyone. Good stuff! Nice people.

Wir hatten bisher einen Aufsatzfilter fr den Wasserhahn. Was aber aus hygienischer Sicht nicht ideal ist. Deswegen haben wir uns fr ein System zum Einbau unter die Sple entschieden. Der Einbau ist selbst fr Ungebte leicht zu bewltigen. Der Filter wird praktisch nur zwischen Wasseranschluss und Wasserhahn geschaltet. Wirklich einfach. Der Geschmack des Wassers ist super. Wir haben bei uns ein sehr hartes Wasser. Aber durch den Filter wird es angenehm Weich. Klar ersetzt er keine “groe” Filteranlage aber fr den kleinen Hausgebrauch ist er absolut zu empfehlen.

Loving the convenience of this water filter so far. It’s so nice to not have to refill a Brita filter anymore. I chose this filter because I wanted an under the sink filter with a designated water faucet to preserve the longevity/lifespan of the filter and also because I wanted one that was NSF/ANSI 53 certified for health effects – something particularly hard to find in this price range for under-sink filters. Water tastes OK – not bad at all, but also not delicious like I find Sparkletts to taste.
Installation was rather easy, though one trouble I had is that I’m renting and the kitchen sink had a pre-drilled hole in the fake-quartz countertop which was marginally too large for this faucet. The faucet could fit entirely through. Luckily, the rubber gasket was just a hair larger than the hole, so I was still able to install it, but if I tighten the faucet over the gasket too securely, it caves into the hole, so the faucet is rather loosely affixed to my counter and rotates with the slightest force when turned on/off. Wish there was a larger metal gasket they provided to help with this issue since I can’t drill another hole in my rental’s kitchen countertop.
Didn’t realise how bad our water tasted before I fitted this filte
I’m sensitive to the metallic and chlorine smells in tap water. We live in a hard water area and the water isn’t great. Installed this – pretty easy in about 30 mins. The result is that the water now tastes like bottled water and the chlorine smell is no longer noticeable. Clarity is better a lot better but not perfect; it isn’t designed to completely remove the limescale. the All in all, definitely worth the money and won’t live without this now.
Easy to install and the water does taste better. I also see other reviews of people saying They hired a plumber to install it and the plumber said it doesn’t work with their set up That’s a lazy plumber.

Facile installer mme s’il n’y a pas d’instructions en franais, au dbut j’avais une petite fuite d’eau provenant du rservoir de la cartouche , il m’a fallu serrer trs fort pour rendre cela tanche. Pour le moment tout va ben, l’eau ne sent pas le chlore et c’tait le but, l’eau provient de l’aqueduc de la ville et est de bonne qualit. Donc l’avenir nous dira bien si cela vaut la peine d’investir dans les cartouches de remplacement.

Amazing bit of kit and easy to install, hardest bit was drilling the tap hole in the sink but a step drill bit did the job. I’m glad we chose the tap option rather than the main sink tap as the filtered water is only used for drinking, filling the kettle etc. We live in the Highlands of Scotland and our water regularly tastes of chlorine/chemicals. This filter has changed all of that, the first glass of water from it was a joy but the main test was our dogs, they refused the old water but this filtered water, they lap up. Would recommend.

I mean it’s a water filter that works well and the installation process is kinda what you’d expect. A bit bigger than I expected but that’s not really an issue for me.

I can’t believe how much this has improved my life. I will never live anywhere else without one. Genuinely miss my tap water wehn we travel. The best $150 you can spend in your house. Period.
Installed in December of 2020. Worked fine for about a year, but once I replaced the filter this unit leaks around the top of the housing. Most likely O-ring got worn out – which is shockingly soon, as this is the first time filter was replaced. I inspected the O-ring (it’s supposed to seal around the inside of the housing) and it doesn’t really stick out above the plastic, so I am fairly certain about the cause.
At discount price of about $75 it’s not a terrible deal even if I have to replace the whole unit (about quarter a day really), but I did assume that this will last few years and will only need to get about $20 cartridges annually, not the whole thing.
I have emailed Frizzlife through their website, will update when/if I get a response. I am jaded and cynical person, so I don’t expect much. I could also try to replace the O-ring, just need to find out the specs (they don’t seem to sell parts though).
UPDATE: I remain jaded and cynical as my overall worldview, but I am glad to report that Frizzlife customer service exceeded my wildest expectations. I was promptly contacted and offered full and free replacement of an entire unit. Customer service also asked me, if possible, to provide a picture or video of the leak so that they can better assess what’s going on. So I reassembled the filter and, lo and behold, it no longer leaks!
Only thought I have on this is that I might have overtightened the assembly when I put it together the first time. So if you see water seeping around the housing, repeat the assembly process and take it easy with the white plastic wrench when you tighten the filter into the housing.
And hey, Frizzlife has been great. I didn’t get the replacement because I didn’t need it, but response was fast and they offered multiple ways to resolve the problem.
Habe das Produkt vor ca. 1 Monat gekauft um mir das nervige Wasser kaufen zu ersparen.
Das Wasser ist definitiv ganz anders als das Leitungswasser und das schmeckt man. Es ist nicht ganz wie das gekaufte, aber definitiv lecker und man merkt das es schn gefiltert ist. Der es strker gefiltert mag, der kann sich das andere Produkt derselben Marke bestellen, was mehr filtern kann, doch uns reicht dieses vollkommen aus.
Habe mich fr das Set mit wasserhahn entschieden und ja es war die richtige Entscheidung, dadurch wird mehr gespart, da man es nicht frs abwaschen verwenden muss.
Der wasserhahn ist wirklich klasse, er ist dnn schick und es tropft nicht ein einziger Tropfen nach. Zumal dieses Set gleich viel kostet wie der ohne wasserhahn.
Das kleine Loch fr den wasserhahn, um in Edelstahl zu bohren, dafr habe ich mir so einen speziellen Bohrer von Amazon bestellt, der umso tiefer man ist, umso mehr in die Breite geht das Loch, hnlich wie eine Pyramide sieht der aus, nur in rund!
Alles in allem ein sehr sehr gelungener Kauf! Auch fr alle die umweltbewusst leben mchten, ist dieses Produkt, mehr als wichtig!

I haven’t tested water post installation, but so far so good. Installation was easy. Bit of an issue with the housing at first, but I emailed FrizzLife and they were helpful. Overall, for the price, I’d recommend it.

Ich habe auch die beiden Adapter angewandt, und alles war auf Anhieb dicht.
Es ist schwierig die Filterleistung objektiv zu beurteilen.
Meine Bewertung basiert deshalb darauf, dass die Angaben ber die Filtereigenschaften faktisch zutreffend sind.
Aber ich habe folgendes subjektive Beobachtung gemacht:
Mein Leitungswasser hatte seit geraumer Zeit irgend einen schwachen faden Beigeschmack, dessen Herkunft ich nie ermitteln konnte, weshalb ich mir das Leitungswassertrinkern auch fast abgewhnt hatte. Aber nach der Montage des Wasserfilters schmeckt mir mein Leitungswasser, und ich trinke es jetzt wieder mit Vergngen.
Die Durchflussrate ist sehr gut, und um ein vielfaches hher als die bekannten Anschraubfilter fr Wasserhhne.
Wie lange die Filterpatronen dann halten, kann ich noch nicht Beurteilen. Ich wre aber mit 4 bis 6 Monate zufrieden.
Leider kann man die Ersatzfilterpatronen nur einzeln kaufen. Ich wrde es deshalb begren wenn man die Filter in einem Sparpaket mit 2 oder 3 Stck kaufen knnte.

I like that this filtration system seems to eliminate the smell of chlorine from tap water. I also like that you can control the flow of water through the faucet (from a trickle to a steady flow). Overall, it’s reassuring to have an extra level of water filtration.
We got this because the one we’ve had for so long is no longer available. It was easy to fit to our already in place tap and pipes with pipe reducers, much quicker and easier than replacing the entire thing. That means we have replacement tap and pipes should we need them.
So far you would not know we have a replacement. Water tastes the same.

Like everything about the filter, the water quality and taste except for one initial issue. Everything about the filter was good. No connections were leaking as I followed the instructions properly with included washers etc. Noticed water leak from case lid. I reached out to their customer service through email with the photo. Their response was immediate. They forwarded the email to their Quality Control for review and immediately shipped me a replacement. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with the product and the installation was a breeze which helped me to uninstall and install the replacement. Make sure to insert the connector tubes 1 inch into the filter and use included rubber washer for connectors, blue restraint pin etc. Zero leaks. If the filter case happen to have a leak, you have a world class Warranty/Customer Service to immediately replace it. My first hand experience Just buy it WORRY FREE! You won’t regret.

The chlorine spell has gone completely and water tastes fine.
The flow from the tap is good, just a touch less but to me that’s ok/good because given the level of filtration and the relatively compact size of the cartridge I’d be curious if their was no drop in flow (think other reviews were saying about flow but filters always have sone effect on flow , especially smaller ones)
Anyway time will tell as this is day one.
I don’t use lots of water so
If it clogs quickly (less than 3 months) or other issues I’ll update review.
But in the meantime it’s going to be nice clean water, all along the way!
I don’t do reviews on amazon products very often because I simply order too much to make time to write a review. So when I do write a review it’s because I am thoroughly impressed. We ordered this water filtration system for our kitchen in our apartment. When my husband went to install it, the parts included were too small for the connections that were under our sink. My husband told me to return it, and I was so disappointed that I decided to reach out to the company and see if they could help. I emailed them and within 12 hours I received a reply from their customer service team member- Emily. Who was so helpful and understood right away what we needed and sent me the parts we needed asap at no additional charge!!! My water filtration system has been in for a week now and I absolutely love it! The water (that was hard water before) is clear, tastes great and the faucet is perfect! I drink a gallon of water per day, and I am now able to use my sink water instead of ordering water constantly from the store!
I don’t know who the person who picks the adapter valve is but they are dead wrong. No wonder some of the reviews say this causes extensive water damage to their homes. The photo on the left shows the correct hose going on the correct side of the fitting to my faucet, the one on the right shows how the bottom of the valve should look (the gold one is correct), the little tube sticking out holds the rubber gasket in place. So the fitting is not ever going to hold the gasket in place no matter how tight you make it. These type of fittings do not use thread tape, I don’t know why it’s included in this kit. And off to the hardware/ plumbing store you go! You’ll need a compression washer (it’s tapered), an adapter or a new valve. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars across the board…
Replacement filters for the other Frizzlife filter cost same or nearly as replacement filters for this filter. I have had the same sort of plastic snap together water connections that the other filter has to connect it to the faucet and they break far too easily for me to trust the structure of my home to that type of connection. They should not be allowed in home plumbing.
I am angry about the $50 I wasted needlessly, and far more furious at all the time I wasted because the descriptions of the Frizzlife products were not clearer regarding their intended purpose. They could have clearly and straightforwardly stated that this filter is intended to be installed inline to the sink faucet, and stated typical water usage per person in the various situations this filter is intended to be installed in. More water would be used in a kitchen sink than a bathroom sink or bar sink. I was confident this filter would be suitable to my municipal water, but if I were on a well I would want more information than was available on Frizzlife’s website concerning how to decide what sort of filter setup I should install, and whether Frizlife’s filters would be suitable. Perhaps I should have called Frizzlife, or use online chat if their website has it, but you have to know what you don’t know to be able to ask. The concept I had in mind was not the straightforward plumbing project I expected it to be. (I do not understand why the auxiliary faucets do not have standard 3/8″ sink fittings. WTF!!! )
(I do building maintenance on the several buildings I own and am competent with copper and PVC owner occupied plumbing. When the renovation work I was doing required bringing the plumbing up to current code, I plumbed the kitchen sink in question with four shutoffs: two hot, 1 each for the sink and dishwasher & two cold, one each for the sink and water filter. The second cold shutoff is there if someone wants to do a different install than my current installation of the Frizzlife. The cutout for the filtered water faucet now has a soap dispenser. )

2 years update –
On city water the filter lasted almost 2 years. A new filter costs around $40, adding the cost of the entire unit the total cost of ownership of this filter system is way better than competitors. Safe to say if you have decent city water this unit will last long.
Well, let me tell you, the picture I attached is the filter after just short of six months of usage! Just swapped it out tonight as the sink had gone down to a trickle this week. The pic doesn’t do it justice how much junk it really filtered out!
The taste was gone instantly and the water began to taste great. No odd particulates, odors, etc. were coming out anymore. We use the cold water a lot in our home. Aside from dishes, we make iced tea, fill up the tea kettle, coffee maker, fill up the ice cube trays, etc. What a world of difference in quality and taste this filter made!
Let me also tell you, I HATE plumbing related work when I have to do it myself. I will do electrical work all day long, but plumbing is a chore. This was so ridiculously easy to install, I thought I got it wrong the first try. Well it was a breeze to install AND change the filter out.

Great filter, worth every penny!!!
First of all, I’m very impressed with how complete this system is. It came with pretty much all of the hoses and fittings/adapters needed, as well as pipe tape and a filter wrench. I also love how everything is clearly labeled for easy installation. Since I was installing this to a dedicated drinking water faucet instead of the main kitchen sink faucet, I needed an adapter to connect it to the plastic tubing going into the faucet, but that was easy to get at the hardware store. This is not necessary if you get the Frizzlife MP99, but I chose the MK99 specifically because I wanted the braided stainless hoses instead of the push-in plastic tubing.
Second, I’m very impressed with the filtering of the water. It seems like it tastes a bit better than the water from my previous system. Additionally, the water flow is very good. I can fill a gallon container much quicker with Frizzlife.
Lastly, I’m very impressed with the design. I really appreciate that it uses a replaceable filter core inside of a reusable housing, instead of having to replace the whole filter cartridge. This is a great environmentally-friendly feature to help reduce plastic waste, and as a bonus it keeps down the cost of replacement filters.
So far I’m very happy with my Frizzlife water filter system, and I would highly recommend it!
UPDATE: I bought a 2nd water filter system on 3/2/21 for my bathroom vanity water supply. At the end of Feb. I turned my cold water on and I was overwhelmed with the smell of Chlorine that was so extreme that my wife and kid could smell it and it took days before the taste went away by itself. After I installed the water filter the taste of the water is so much better and there is no more Chlorine smell at all.
I have one water filter system that is almost a year old and I would NOT be without it. I have had NO CHLORINE SMELL OR TASTE in my kitchen water supply since I installed it.
The water filter is still working but getting close too changing at 10 months of heavy use.
I can tell since my water flow is starting too slow down.
I highly recommend this water filter system for your water supply.

Absolutely Amazing. I considered a reverse osmosis system but didn’t have room for the tank. And I saw lots of other options out there but this one was very cost effective, got great reviews, and the filters were inexpensive ($20) and lasted 1-3 years (at that price I’ll change it every 6 months).
So easy to install. My stainless steel sink didn’t have an extra hole so I drilled the 1/2″ hole as recommended.
The only obstacle I ran into was due to my current kitchen sink configuration. I have a rigid copper supply line going from the cold water valve to the kitchen faucet so I couldn’t disconnect it to connect the water filter’s valve.
Fortunately my existing cold water supply valve is a dual valve, with the other side connected to a flexible line for the water supply to the ice maker (which I don’t use). I connected the frizzlife valve to that side, and purchased a 3/8″ outside diamemeter compression cap and used that with some teflon tape to close off the unused side of the valve.
The whole install was really easy, the flow is much faster than I expected, and the water tastes so much better!!!
Great piece to hAve under your sink. Does wonders for us and see immediate difference in taste seconds after instal.

Install was fairly straightforward. It doesn’t take up much room under the sink. Very convenient. Takes care of our typically very rusty and smelly water. I had it for about a month. Water still has a slight taste, but overall a vast improvement. I have recommended it to my friends.
For the reverse osmosis systems I didn’t like the space they took under the sink as well as the amount of water they waste. They also seemed like overkill for what I needed. My city water report didn’t look bad so I didn’t have health concerns, I just wanted better taste.
Looking at filtered water I thought it would do what I needed. I chose the Frizzlife because it came with a separate faucet for the filtered water, it looked like it had good specifications, and the operating cost seemed low.
The filter took me about 30 minutes to install. Not sure about 5 minute installation times that people claim. Maybe this is just to replace the filter, or maybe their sink has a lot of room to work.
The filtered water doesn’t have any odor and it tastes pretty good. Not quite as good as bottled water or the reverse osmosis water at my work, but it’s pretty good.
I definitely made the right choice and I would recommend it to others.
The hardware comes with 3/8″ fittings but my plumbing has 1/2″ fittings. I emailed Frizzlife and they were very helpful and responsive. Props to their customer service, they were a big reason why I gave this filter 5 stars.
When I saw this system and saw the install videos and read the reviews I thought it was worth a shot since my Woder system was at the end of its 3 year life cycle.

once that was done install was a breeze.
They provide you with everything you need to plus more and the instructions were simple to read with pictures to assist.
The quality of the filter, parts, and faucet are decent for the price of this system.

My only (2) complaints with this system are the silicone tape that they provide is a little cheap and had to go get my
plumbing tool case to get my own which is much better and usually found at Home Depot.
My second complaint is with the Faucet. while it is a good, decent piece it is a little shaky in regards to the spout of the faucet. A sturdier version would make this kit a worthy under sink water filtration system.
Overall great buy and this might be the last sink water filtration I buy…
Installation was straight forward and everything fit perfectly. The additional of a blade and pumbing tape ensured I only brought a drill, screwdriver and wrench to the table. Directions were clear, albeit the small workspace under my sink did make things difficult. That’s more of a personal issue given my larger build.
I emailed customer support with my order ID and request a 150% extension on warranty. They were very thankful for the purchase and extended warranty to 3 years. I further inquired about filter replacement and they responded in under 10 minutes. Apparently, it’s 6 months to 2 years. Entirely dependant on quality of water (municipal/well/etc.) and quantity used. (obvious). Due to living in Southern California and having it connected the municipal line, we will adopt a 6 month schedule.
Overall: Absolutely satisfied! Give it a shot. Huge bang for the buck, but do dedicate some time while installing it. I didn’t have leaks, first try.

I just rceived my order today and had the opportunity to install and test it. Everything was super simple except for making the hole through my granite countertop. I suggest watching a short video on how to do that properly if you are installing in granite as well. After watching a tutorial video it was actually pretty easy, it just took time to make a clean, slow, smooth cut. I put the pipe fitting tape on every thread I could which was about three spots and I had zero leaks on the first try. Due to other reviewers I was initially concerned that I would receive a unit with a short stem that wouldnt work on a 1 1/4″ counter so I contacted Frizzlife before ordering. They gave me a 99% discount code for their longer stem but when I received my item it actually had the longer stem already so now I have an extra that I probabaly won’t use but that’s ok. They are very responsive to emails, even late at night. Water tastes great and I’m very happy with this purchase so far. If any issues come up I will update this review. Excited to have clean tasting water again 🙂

Star 3, the water taste is just like a real water it should be, orderless and taste great! 1000 times better!! Use test kit for the chlorine and LEAD, it’s just work as described. LOVE
Star 4, for how convenient it is to replace the filter, the cost of replacement is very reasonable, no more Brita and no more struggling for the refrigerator filter. I tried twist off the container without shutting off the valve, it’s amazing that no water come out from the head, what a technology!! LOVE
Star 5, I suppose this will for the customer service, my first test was using TDS meter, not happy with the result, emailed the company and they are sooo quick to help me out and NOW I KNOW WHY, searched from google as well, TDS is only used for Reverse Osmosis system and to check how good the RO does, but RO has no mineral in water , that’s why. The water from the Frizzlife MK99 leaves all essential minerals in the water, which is very good!! LOVE
Overall, I highly recommend! And hope my review is helpful for everyone who is still hesitating whether to buy.
