I really like this game camera. Its picture quality and IR abilities are very good. The WIFI works well too. My only issue is the WIFI. If you use frequently, it will drain your battery very fast. I use it to aim the camera and see if there is anything of interst on the camera; however, just watch the useage so as to not drain the batteries.

Great camera, video and photos are crystal clear but it sounds like a freight train is running past the camera with even the slightest winds. Even if there is no wind the cameras audio is so sensitive that it makes everything sound like white noise.

Easy to setup, easy to access via the app, overall a good camera but the manufacturer needs to really consider updating the microphone

I own several types of game cams including Browning Recon-Elite, Reveal X-Pro, Ceyomur and GardePros. Each has their own special characteristics..but these GardePro’s are my personal favorite for working in the field. They are easy to use. Simple to format, nice sturdy latch that doesn’t snap off in cold conditions, durable—even from inquisitive wildlife.
Other’s may have higher dpi picture quality, but if you just want a sturdy, standard game camera——this is an excellent choice.
Team them with Hixon rechargeable lithium batteries, and you have a winter season winner!

Very disappointed with this purchase. The range SUCKS!!!! You literally have to walk in the woods and get like 15 feet from it to have your phone connect to download the pics. Pictures are not very good either. I have 2 cameras that were 1/2 the price w/ memory cards only and they are wayyyyy better. Just trying to give a heads up that if your looking for quality. Keep looking. This is not what you want. I’m very disappointed.

This GardePro6 is the best of the 3 trail cameras I’ve had. One simply quit working and another was stolen. This one does the job for me. I’m not a hunter but use it to watch my bird feeders during the day and to survey the front yard at night. I’m in an urban neighborhood and am surprised at how many animals cross the yard at night. The list so far includes, opossum, raccoon, armadillo, white tail deer, coyote and grey fox. Contrary to recommendation, I’m using Kratax 1.5 volt, 3500 mWh rechargeable Lithium batteries. They are in at least their 12th cycle. I’m happy with both the camera and the batteries and recommend both.

The camera appears to be well-built and reasonably sturdy. The controls are easy to manage and the instructions are clear. Setup was simple. The Bluetooth/wifi is handy but don’t expect to access the camera’s WiFi beyond about 25′. The WiFi is handy for charging camera settings with removing the camera from its position. Pictures are clear and night vision is good. If a basic trail camera is what you are looking for this might be for you.

This is a really nice camera. And the photos, especially in the daytime, are really good.
I’m not sure the wifi works as good as it should, since sometimes the photos are not always viewable when I log on.
I had trouble with my first camera, but I exchanged it for a new one and I am pretty glad I did.
    I’d have more, for sure.

The picture quality is good but getting them downloaded isn’t easy. You need to be right on top of it to get it to load. Would be easier if it had a greater range to download. Also- seems to have a delay in turning on and recording. Often times we only get the image of the animals butt as it exits the area and not when it enters and walks across the area. When we do get images they are very good.

We have been enjoying the menagerie in our backyard. We have seen birds, squirrels, deer, coyotes, fox, raccoons, a skunk, possum (and an occasional cable technician). I have put the camera various places in the yard, but the place that has the most traffic is the birdbath. Of course the birds like it, but the other wildlife also stops by for drinks. We live in an area without dogs and kids, so the wildlife feels safe here. The wifi is only good if you are very near the camera, but it is useful for checking the aim.

I had the camera turned up to the highest sensitivity for a while, but that generated too many false alarms. I set it back to the default settings and that seems to give me good results. The photos seem a little over sharpened so that they seem to have a bit of a false outline around them. This helps the resolution when the animal is moving or otherwise blurred, but when the animal is close, if you try to zoom in the picture, it takes away from the quality.

After being in use for a couple of months, the preview screen developed lines in it. I contacted Amazon and in spite of it being beyond the return period (30 days), it was covered under the 1 year warranty and they issued a full refund so that I could replace it. Waiting for the new one now!

The camera works as advertised. It downloads photos to a smartphone very quickly. As a budget camera, the plastic does have a cheap feel to it. I hope it is durable for my local environment.
