Well the answer is still no. However this product does make this task much easier and safer too. My attitude to ironing has always been wear a jumper to cover up my creases! I have used this steamer to iron 5 garments in no time. It is a much small head and is significantly lighter than a conventional iron, giving better results for me. On top of this you don’t have to balance it on an ironing board as the steamer can sit on the floor, reducing the risk of dropping it on the floor. With my dexterity, this has to be a plus. My only critisim would be that the electrical cord could be slightly longer but the steam pipe is long enough. Great product overall.

Lightweight, easy to use. The cord is good length and the manual helps so much. There’s also a safety glove to use. Took a video, have a look, tried to explain everything.

This is an incredably good bit of kit. I will be honest, I haven’t spent that much time with it but my wonderful partner has spent quite a bit of time with it and much prefers it to any of the conventional irons we have had. She doesn’t have to use any pressure and the clothes iron really nicely, the light iron piece is nice as all the water is stored in the unit. Some of our other irons have leaked as you use them, with the wer in the base unit we have had no problem with that. It is nice to have control over the amount of steam that comes out, also not having to fill it up often is a big time saver.
We have used it as a steamer on our curtains and it does a really good job of freshening them up, we are going to take it round the mother-in-laws soon, she will love it. It is also great for quickly freshening clothes that have been in the wardrobe all winter or for the kids school clothes after only wearing them for a day, much better for the climate than washing every day, the hot steam will kill most bacteria in the clothes and they will be fresh and also saves you a few pence on washing stuff, not to mention the time.
I… well the Mrs would recommend this product for anyone who irons lots, wants to freshen clothes up, or to have the potential to save you time and a few bob so you can wear clothes again without having to wash them everytime they they have been worn for a short time and know that they have been steam cleaned. Great little product.

The Kotlie Steamer is made with quality, simple to use , lightweight, and easy to clean. I have recommended this to several of my siblings and friends.
High-Quality: The steamer is very sturdy and has a good weight in your hand. The heating/steaming plate is ceramic and does not burn or stick to garments when being used. I like that the head is separate from the water tank, so I can steam iron my clothes that are still on hangers and my curtains without having to take them down. I have even taken the steamer to my parents home and steam-cleaned their sofa sectional. Have been using it for the past 5 weeks and the Kotlie Steamer is still in perfect condition.
Simple to Use: Steam level/temperature is easy to adjust and heats up fast. Once you turn it on, it takes about 30 seconds to get hot and use. The ceramic head even swivels so you can get maximum coverage with each swipe across whatever your are ironing or cleaning (very convenient for larger items). The hose is long enough that I can leave the water tank on the floor and reach up to the top of my window curtains.
Lightweight: The whole machine is only about 6 lbs when empty. Even with the water tank full, it is probably on 7 lbs – 8 lbs, not heavy to carry up the stairs. When actually using the Kotlie Steamer, you can leave the base / water tank on the floor, or flat surface, and just have to hold the ceramic head (very lightweight).
Easy to Clean: All the parts are very sturdy and can be easily wiped down to clean. The water tank is removable from the base, so you can clean the insides.
I highly recommend the Kotlie Steamer…10/10.

I honestly didn’t expect this to be so small and lightweight.
Everything worked fine when testing it out, although it did take me some time to figure out where to put the water and there are other stuff that I don’t know exactly what they do if anything.
This should come with instructions, maybe it really doesn’t need it, but this is just my 2 cents.
Still a pretty good product, it’s just gonna take some getting used to.
This is an amazing steamer. First off, the price is amazing for what you get. Pre-COVID, I would travel a lot for work, and always carried a small suitcase steamer for my suits. Those were okay but took forever. I have even tried larger ones, but those took too much water.
This is a perfect fit !

This unit arrived quickly and was packaged securely and very nicely. It did a great job removing wrinkles. The adjustable plate is a nice feature. I will be ordering their air fryer next and can’t wait to try it!
Unboxing of the steamer.
Looks pretty good built quality, especially the electrical cord is pretty long and thick, which is good for a device like this which uses a lot of electrical currents. Haven’t tested yet, this is just an unboxing review, maybe we’ll update later the review. It has an instruction manual and a bonus glove in the box.
This steam iron / garment steamer feels well built and looks very modern. Love how well it was protected in the packaging it came with and also how easy it’s to use. The rotatable steam head comes in very handy when you want to iron a large area quickly. Also the detachable water tank allows you to avoid any spill or dripping. Definitely would recommend it to anyone in the market for a great steam iron / garment steamer.
PROS:
– 1.1L tank, this is a perfect size, Not too small that you keep refilling and not so big that it takes up half the room. The 2.5l Tanks on some steamers are just way too big for home use.
– The Iron plate is light and easy to use. Because the tank is separate from the handle, it makes it very light to use when vertical steaming. I love the handle design, and the fact that you can swivel the plate 90 degree is a great feature. This is better than a steam generate iron, which are very big and bulky, and make it difficult to vertical steam.
– The iron plate/ steamer has 3 settings of heat, which is really handy. With this steamer you don’t need to get out a separate iron, this iron one is excellent for shirts when ironing horizontally/vertically, depending on your preference. The steam is really powerful and strong, and doesn’t leave wet spots as the hot plate also dries your clothes while steaming
– Sound isn’t crazy loud, as far as steamers go it’s normal.
– Heats up fast
– Really Great Price for what you get.
– Steamer button can be locked so you don’t have to keep pressing it down, I notice other people said you had to hold it down, but you don’t – you have to push and slide the button down to lock it into place. 😉
CONS:
– Nothing really, the water tank can leak a little water when you have to turn it upside down, but the unit has a small tray around it to collect any spillage etc.
– I will update this if there are any issues in the future, but so far, it’s a fantastic product and well made.
Overall It’s a great product, and it looks like other reviewers agree as well!
It’s an iron I hear you say yes it is but a bloody good one. I am 62 (M) and been ironing a long time. Irons you had to beat up on a stove top to electric and you had to use a spray bottle or a wet cloth to get the Creases out .. and then modern ones with tank in the iron .. what a pain to fill and a few years ago I got my first steam generator was ace bees knees but a tad clumsy in design and the filter had to be changed often or in my case when I remembered ..
Now this item is just great light weight and so so easy to use and it’s got a swivel head press a button and it changes the shape .. perfect for larger areas. I was worried I may have problem ironing my work shirts by the buttons .. no problem .. and you don’t have to press down that hard and irons a pair of work trousers great both sides of legs same time .. the tank it’s self sits on ironing board and had no problem the length of the hose and the electric cable is perfect .. I’d say buy it you will be happy .. and good instructions and come with a little mitte
Amazon delivered the item quickly. Streamer was in a thick bubble wrap inside the box and I really liked the way it was packaged.
In the the box there was
– garment streamer
– a heat resistant glove
– Instruction manual in English (easy to follow)
The product looks nice and seems to be well built. The water tank is detachable from streamers base and can hold about 1 litre of water (about 4 cups). The base has control knob to turn the streamer on and it provides 4 levels – I, II, III and clean. The head has a stream switch and another switch to rotate it by 90 degrees which is convenient for vertical streaming. It worked well for both dry ironing and streaming.
It does the job and do it pretty well. I would recommend this product.

Very cost friendly. This is great for my polo shirts just hung in my closet after laundering. I just steam wrinkles out. Large tank = longer use without refilling. The long cord allows for easy steaming. This makes getting wrinkles out of curtains so much easier. Just take the curtain out, hang them up and steam the wrinkles out in minutes. Fantastic! My wife uses this a lot for her sewing material as well. You can see the size difference is not that much from a regular iron from my pics. It takes less than a minute to get the steam which is my favorite part of this item. Seems to be very well made. Packaging was excellent.

FIRST IMPRESSION
I have an iron with no steam feature, so I resulted to spraying water onto my clothes, and ironing over them. I like the big tank at the base of the iron, and the fact it doubles as a steamer alone is another win.
I had an easy time learning how to use this product simply by following the instructions, but it’s pretty self explanatory. It’s safe to say my old iron is getting the boot, because this 2-in-1 iron/steamer is taking it’s place.
This one powerful and same time has big water tank which last all ironing , no need to refill.
Cable quite long and head of iron can be twisted to right direction to get to right angle.
Temperature can be adjusted in 3 levels to reach right temperature to right item.
Makes ironing much easy, perfect light weight and easy to use, so far happy with it’s performance.
The pics make it look bigger than it actually is, it still sits on the iron rack on the ironing board no issues at all although you can then leave it on the side and just use the ironing head on clothes separately and still only take the one plug to power the whole thing.
Once it’s heated up which only takes a few minutes it can then be adjusted to throw out as little or as much steam as you want and you can then change the direction of the head too even when it’s already hot.
I’m not keen on the fact that you have to hold down the steam button, although i do get it as i wouldn’t want it to run out of steam (or water) too quickly so it sort of makes sense, but a lockable button might be a small but welcome improvement.
I have found that i tend to plug it in and use it straight on shirts that are hung up rather than getting the full ironing board out though as i don’t need the weight of the iron to do so and it just drops out those last creases that are always annoying after a shirt has been in the wardrobe too long.
I would choose this steam iron over my conventional one. It heats faster, far more steam is generated and it’s way lighter and easier to use. It even glides better over clothes while using it on our ironing board. I like the results after using it on vertically hanging clothes and even our curtains while they hang. It’s very effective, quick and easy to use. Good quality and I’ll be recommending it.
From plug in and steam ready it only takes around a minute, the button on the handle is the weak point of the machine with it constantly getting stuck in “on position”, not a big deal except steam end up all over the place and when parked up.
The cord between the base and the hand held is long enough for most ironing board and from floor to eye level etc, at 1500W it produce usable steam for 30 second bursts without losing steam pressures. The head has non stick coating and it glide over my cotton shirts with ease.
The water tank holds around 1L of water, it has self clean function but I would recommend using distilled or water for ironing with out hard mineral deposits with this steam iron.
We have always just used normal irons but have been tempted by these steam generator irons. Since we needed to replace our current iron die to it leaking water from the tank we opted for this affordable steam generator iron. It is definitely one of the cheaper options available. I am already very impressed with this Kotlie iron. It is easier and quicker to use compared to the traditional irons. The iron is light to hold and the water heats up quickly. I am glad to take the plunge and order this steam generator iron.
The KOTLIE iron is well made and has a nice ergonomic design. The iron has a rotatable ceramic plate, it has a 1500W heater, a 1.1l water tank and comes in a nice blue and white design. The quality seems good, the iron works well, the water heats quickly and it doesn’t take long to produce steam. This iron doesn’t require the need to press the clothes like a traditional iron, simply hang the garments and use the intense steam to get the wrinkles out.
The price is fair and reasonable, the steam is powerful and takes wrinkles out in no time and it’s very lightweight and well designed. Great value for money product.
Really impressed with the steamer. It really does make ironing clothes easier compared to a conventional iron and board.
T-shirts now take seconds with just needing a steam on the front and back while hanging up.
Proper shirts still need an iron on the collar and cuffs but the body can just be steamed first saving time.
It has 3 different heat settings, a cleaning feature, and a professional ironing mode.
Very good steam generator iron. I had two before this one and I wasn’t happy with their size. This one is small and lightweight but with very good pressure.
