My 7 year old loves this toy. I was hesitant buying this at the price at Christmas, so I didn’t, but I kept it in my lists for her. I showed it to her after because she had Amazon gift cards to spend, and she bought it herself. When it came in she was sooooo excited opening all the little pieces. It’s too cute! The mini candies (especially the mini gummy bears) are so dainty and cute her eyes lit up. All the little jars, the the cash register. Super cute! If your wondering wether it’s worth it, it is. I don’t mind playing with her with this, I’m not a player, I’m an organizer player lol like I will play by organizing her doll house or their clothes. But I can play with this, because of all the little Items. I’ll add pictures in the future.

Loved this set, bought for my daughter. Set is gorgeous. Feels the quality of our generation playsets. Feels more robust than the plastic barbie sets. My daughter loves it and uses her barbies with it and has added the barbie picnic table for them to sit round. She loves all the little candy’s and bits and the till. My only criticism would be the amount of packaging and the amount of time it takes to take it off. I have never seen anything like it. Outside of it the set is beautiful and well worth the money.
This took me well over an hour to get everything out of the packaging. I was so mad at the end I wanted to throw it. Glitter girl company.fix your packing for cripes sake! Otherwise, my daughter is going to love this. The glitter girls are much too big for this though, we will use regular Barbie’s.
Ok, this is an amazing toy for any little girl. It’s a Christmas present for my daughter, and I can’t wait for her to open it!

This item is super cute & adorable! Quality is amazing! I don’t own any 14″ glitter girl dolls, but it seems kind a small for them. I have put Barbie and other 12″ dolls such as Licca Chan & Blythe dolls against the sweet shop & I feel the scale is more perfect to these size dolls. You won’t be disappointed with this item if you have a little girl or even you were an adult collector of dolls & wanted to add this to your collection. Packing was first rate & shipping was really fast!

I got this for my daughter to use with some of her larger dolls (Glitter Girls and some others) as there seems to be much fewer options in terms of actual play sets for those types of dolls. This set is SUPER cool! Basically every piece of candy has been individually molded. The candies look really great, the attention to detail is super impressive and the coloring and molding is very clean and precise. The variety of jars and containers and, again, the detail put into them is pretty awesome. My daughter absolutely loves it!
In terms of scale, everything is just a little small for the larger dolls. It doesn’t inhibit play, it just isn’t 1:1. However, the advantage is that it’s just a little big for Barbie size dolls, but absolutely usable. So, you’re actually getting much more bang for your buck with this set as it should be usable with most dolls.
The light up sign is a really nice addition and produces really lovely colors. I’m a photographer and was actually able to set up some really interesting shots with the light on.
The wallpaper is a thick plastic sheet with a sticky back and has separated from the play set a little bit. It’s not super noticeable and the wallpaper is still on, just something to be aware of. We have central air that’s usually set fairly low, so I don’t think this set ever experienced hot temperatures where you would maybe expect this to happen.
Overall, though. This set is really incredible and one of the most unique and intricate sets I’ve seen for dolls.
Great product for the money. We have purchased a lot of American Girl sets like these and I don’t really see much of a difference except cost!!! We will be buying additional products.
Until recently, my 11-year-old daughter and her friends were really engaged with creative scenarios for their dolls, which include a mix of American Girl and Glitter Girl dolls. As a way to expand their imagination, I got some scenario-building sets, including this one from Glitter Girls.
Details below, based on my experiences putting this together, and listening to my daughter’s feedback…
PACKAGING
The set comes packed in a cardboard box with individual pieces inside plastic wrap. There are also a series of plastic connectors holding everything together during shipping. It took about 10 minutes of clipping and unwinding to free all the pieces from the packing. There was a fair pile of plastic waste when we were done. I’d like to see manufacturers use less plastic in these sets.
QUALITY
The whole set is done really nicely. The material is sturdy and the sweet set really looks great. It has bright colors and everything is in the right proportion for 14″ dolls. The set includes loads of small pieces that look like candy and other food items, as well as a great assortment of related items like jars and utensils. My daughter and her friends swapped around some of the items with other play sets depending on the game. My daughter also involved some of her 18″ dolls, and they sort of worked, although a bit on the giant side!
IMAGINATION
My daughter and her friends used this sweet shop in their doll play for several months, along with some other scenario-creation sets. This set definitely contributed to many hours of fun making up stories about their doll “friends.”
CONCLUSIONS
This is a fun set, made with cheerful colors and offering a way to help kids create some imaginative scenarios with their dolls.
This was a gift for my daughter. She was ecstatic when she opened it. It was perfectly packaged and is so adorable.
My only complaint is there isn’t built in storage for the hundreds of tiny candies. My four year old has played with it everyday for over a month and loves it but we have to store the pieces in baggies.
My daughter loves this. She plays for hours. The glitter girl dolls are sold separately but I also think they’re too big for this set up anyway. She uses some of her smaller dolls when playing with this. There are LOTS of little pieces!! If you have another smaller child at home just be aware of that. Overall this was a great Christmas gift though!
This little series is absolutely adorable! The details are what makes it so real.

So in love with this sweet shop! Cannot say enough about how much my daughter loves it.
Purchased for my 6 yr old. It is very difficult to unpack, the plastic bands holding down the set are embedded in the play set, which leaves risk of damage removing them.
That being said, it is only criticism.
My daughter and her bestie have enough room to play together side by side. They delight in all the containers of candies, all with mini treats that are removable. The working scale, the cash register that works and has coins inside.
This set fits with MLP, even if it was made for larger dolls. Barbie is also compatible.
If you want to see your child delight in hours of imaginative play this is totally worth the cost.
IF YOU HATE TINY PIECES, BEWARE.
So far my 6 yr old has been very meticulous about storage. But I don’t mind the possible you macaroons and candies I might find around our home.

It was a Christmas gift for our child. She and the entire family spend much time shopping at the sweet store! It’s a big piece, so I would unlikely recommend it as a gift for places with little space to play.
This candy shop is adorable and so thoughtfully made. My 7 & 8 year old daughters have spent hours playing with it with their Glitter Girls dolls. I highly recommend this playset.
Amazing set. As mentioned by other reviewers, tons of cute candies with amazing details.
Another wonderful feature is the playability. It is easy for a child to get their hands and 2 dolls in here to play with. The open top design is really playable.
It is hard to tell from pics, but you can easily have a doll on the inside bench, a doll shopping, and a doll at the register (14 inch doll).
The light up sign is really cute. My daughter originally wanted the doll ice cream truck, but after seeing and playing with this for a few minutes, she loves this set more.

We got this set for our grand-daughters and they played, well, not for hours, but longer than we expected!
My daughter adores this set! We got it for her to use with her Wellie Wisher Doll. Probably the only con is that there are a lot of tiny pieces so cleaning up after taking a bit. This toy encourages imaginative and creative play for my daughter. She will play with it for a long time. Simulating picnics and more. The cash register is darling too! It pops out and little coins are inside! Well worth purchasing!
I will be getting more Glitter Girls items. Battat seems to make Great items. We have many others.
This is adorable, it is highly detailed and would definitely be suitable for children older then 3, probably even older then 5. There are many tiny pieces which are the candy and sweets. I really think the tiny little pieces should have been fused together because it is very easy to lose the pieces, one thing tipped over and there was tiny candies everywhere. Other than that this is an awesome set and is very well made. This is for the 14″ dolls but my girls like to use it with Barbie also.
Glitter Girls by Battat- Sweet Shop
My daughter was beyond excited when she opened the box! Pictures cannot do this justice. There are tons of different candies that look almost edible! There are so many to choose from and they are all unique with their intricate details. The cash register drawer opens and has shiny coins and a spinning tube on the top that has glitter. The flamingo on the wall really adds character as well. The sign lights up and also cuts itself off so you won’t be wasting batteries. My favorite part of it is all the beautiful little candy jars. My daughter uses it for LOL, Barbie and 14″ sized dolls. There are plates for eating in as well as shopping baskets for take out. All the candies have a decent weight to them unlike many toys on the market today. I am sure it’s going to provide hours of fun! When I asked my daughter she said, “I really, really love it!” You’ll be amazed at how much detail is in this play set.
This is possibly the most played with toy we’ve gotten in recent years, and every kid who comes over is completely fascinated with all of the different types of toy candy and dumping them out, playing with them, feeding them to all of the dolls and stuffed animals, and putting them back and arranging things really nicely in the shop.
Everything is amazing about this set. The lollipops fit in the little lollipop containers, everything seems to have a perfect place to go, and yet there is some flexibility with how you put things away and arrange everything. The tiny cash register really works and when you press the buttons it opens. The little scale dial actually goes down when you put a plate of candy on top. The little couch cushion on top of the bench seating wants to slide around, but I put a little bit of Velcro tape on the underside and stuck it in place and it works great now. And the little light on top is just absolutely adorable.
The one problem that I have with the construction is that the top shelf of this has a weird bend in it or lump through the top that looks like either it was stored poorly or had some error in manufacturing to where you have to set things a little more carefully on the top shelf then you do the other shelves. I also would have preferred more of a matte finish on the shelves, because the shiny plastic just lets the jars slide off if somebody is a little bit clumsy.
I just love the variety of candy in this. The candy apples are glittery and exciting, the variety of lollipops is impressive, and the huge array of differing types of colorful candy that you can scoop out with the included scoops is just super fun. If you have smaller kids, there will definitely be some dumping out of candy, and smaller kids don’t necessarily want to take the time to put everything back together, although my daughter finds it very satisfying when everything is perfectly in place in the candy shop. But then, her main mode of play with it is to choose a candy and dump it out and portion it out to all of her toy friends, then choose another candy and dump it out and portion it out to all of her toy friends, etc. Given that this activity keeps her busy for about an hour and that her big brother likes to play with her at this as well, and how much I like to play with this, putting the candy shop back together a few times a week seems like a very small price to pay. Sometimes the kids can be coerced into helping organize the candy into jars and put it away on the shelves, and setting up the candy shop just the way they want.
Overall, this is just completely epic. We don’t eat a ton of candy in our house, but I’ve introduced just enough that the kids have a basic awareness and love talking about the cupcakes, the candy apples, the marshmallows, the lollipops, etc. It hasn’t increase the number of times they ask for these things, it’s just increased the amount of time they feed it to their dolls. I hope to see more amazing things like this from this line. I really appreciate the sizing of the glitter girls dolls and how they are less clunky than the American girls dolls, and I love the cute styling and fashions of all of it. I’d love to see a hot dog van, a normal kitchen with fun foods like waffles and eggs and more normal groceries, and I just love how they put such a fun spin on their toys.
I got the Glitter Girls for a friend’s 8 year old foster daughter who had never really had a grouping of toys of her own. Her Christmases and Birthdays haven’t been the best in her short life. She LOVES the Glitter Girls and their accessories and they have provided her with hours of pretend play and opportunity to use her imagination. The outfits are well made and cute. And this little candy shop is ADORABLE! She can sell candy to the other Glitter Girls and move the small items around. It has a scale, a cash register and a tiny little gumball machine! I was enchanted!
I like this sweet shop set a lot; my 7-yr-old daughter adores it. It’s perfect for children who love arranging and playing with tiny little pieces, as there are several dozen confectionary treats. The set comes with the 3 AA batteries needed for the lighted billboard and it is nearly ready to go straight from the box. There are neat features, such as the rotating handle on the gumball machine (with door that opens), a cash register with push-button open, and a scale with a pin that moves when weight is applied. One thing that would make this set ideal would be a storage compartment or tray to store all the accessory pieces. Pieces roll every which way when we need to move the set. Even so, my daughter is having a great time playing with this and it’s nice that it can be used with all kinds of dolls. This definitely makes a wonderful gift.
This is a great set to expand your doll accessories. All the little pieces are so detailed and this the quality of the Target’s OG line. What girl doesn’t love candy so this is a hit! It also works with the smaller American Girl wellness wishers doll (see picture the AG blonde doll). The American girl doll is larger than the set (see AG grace brunette doll in pic). However my daughter plays with both dolls with the set just fine. Usually we have tables set up outside and all the candy and cute accessories work with any size doll so it doesn’t matter. For example, She’ll let this be the candy store where the dolls order what they want and then go sit down and eat and some can stay and shop. There’s a lot of creativity girls can have with this.
The only thing you have to be careful is lifting/moving the set because once it’s all the set up stuff will fall over easily if you decide to move it. So put it where you want it for a while.
Well worth the 20 plus minutes it took to completely unwrap each and every small item. Which by the way was tedious. It comes with very small items so I definitely do not recommend this if you have small babies in the house. When my daughter is finished playing with it we put everything in a ziplock bag to avoid losing any pieces. As far as quality, it’s very well made and sturdy. I love how realistic everything looks. Batteries were included which was a nice surprise. It can be used with GG glitter dolls or barbies. I highly recommend this sweet shop! Your daughter will love it! I know mine do!
This is such a great set for my daughter’s 14″ AG Wellie Wisher dolls! The details on this are just perfect! There are even spots of glitter paint. The dolls fit with it perfectly. The plastic is very sturdy and high quality. The finishes on this are what makes it so great! Each little picture, detail, letter, etc on this are so well done and the variety of colors and cute little pictures really make it a great sweet shop. It comes with a few awesome accessories to finish out the entire experience. I was pleasantly surprised that this is the same level of detail and quality I would find from an AG brand product, but much more reasonably priced. Overall, it’s great and my daughter love it!

This is worth every penny and all 3 of my girls, ages 7, 6 and 4 love all this candy too.
Hard part is just not losing any as they are so small.
This set doesn’t come with a doll, but my daughter didn’t need one. She absolutely loves this set and has played with it constantly. She immediately asked for a playdate with her friend and her friend went nuts too…lots of excited setting up and serving ensued.
There is so much here, it’s staggering. It took me about 10 minutes to unbox, which I didn’t mind because I found it fun to see what little goodies it has. There are cute jars and containers, a fascinating array of delicious looking and brightly colored candies (I love the gummy bears and the marshmallow twists!) and so many shelves and nooks and crannies to put them on.
My daughter has arranged and re-arranged this set so many times and we are asked what treat we’d like, served on cute little dishes. The detail on this set is really nice and I could have only dreamed of a set like this when I was little.
The top lights up and there were many fun make believe stories the girls made up using the Sweet Shop. In all, really thrilled with this – and I love it that they change it up so much when they play with her Glitter Girl or when her best friend brings hers.
My daughter loved this toy and so did I. There are just so many details to it. It has so many little things that are part of it. She spent hours playing with it. I love all of the little details and how the sign lights up. The quality is great. It was almost all set up. I think this would make a wonderful gift for someone. You can use it with the Glitter Girls or your own dolls. Wonderful toy!!!
This is a cute and colorful sweet shop that fits anywhere in a room. I keep it at my house for my granddaughter to play with. It has lots of kool sweets that are oh so colorful. It is a pretty big size that goes well with a 14″ doll. So nice. It is made of a nice plastic material. A must have.
This is a really cute play set. My daughters (5 and 3) love it & they even got my 10 year old son to play with them (they use 12 inch superhero action figures when playing with it). It comes with so many little containers and “candy” pieces, and even a scale and cash register. It took FOREVER to get everything out of the packaging, and there are still some pieces of packaging attached to it that I couldn’t remove. Also, some of the “candy” is as tiny as a crumb and even being careful, will get lost / thrown away (my sister threw away some pieces she thought were part of a broken crayon). There’s an electronic component to it, but even though it came with batteries it didn’t work. We’re going to replace with new batteries & hopefully it will work and we didn’t end up with a broken one.
