I mostly bought it for hoovering stairs. We have a big Henry hoover which I don’t want to carry up and down the stairs. It’s really perfect for stairs. Strong enough suction to collect all the pet hair too. I’m so happy with this purchase
Although it’s a bit expensive it does the job well. Leaves, spiders, bits of stone, grass cuttings, dust and fluff are all hoovered up easily. The battery lasts well and we’re also keeping the 10 year old battery as a spare (as it is exactly the same)!
This handheld vacuum cleaner is brilliant. It has a variety of different attachments and has a good length of run time. It’s easy to use and empty and great sucking power. You can also get other attachments for it to clean the interior of your car. Highly recommended
Bought it for hoovering stairs but also good for sofas and small dry spillages. You just need to remember to make sure it’s fully charged before you want to use it as battery doesn’t last very long.
Gtech handheld has good suction but a little to powerful on delicate surfaces. Its not the lightest handheld vac but manageable, the supplied accessories are ok but lack an upholstery attachment which I needed to purchase separately, removes pet hair well .
The charging lead on mine is very tight to remove from its charging socket, hopefully this will get better with use .
I wanted it to use on the staircase at home and in the motorhome. It performs both tasks beyond expectations. I just wish I had purchased one a long time ago.
I also have the gtech vacuum so this item compliments as it does the stairs and upholstery. It’s good for pet hair too. Easy to use and not heavy. The suction is good and there are a few accessories for different vacuuming needs around the home so a very useful item.
Brilliant hoover easy to charge and does it quickly..used it lots so far instead of getting my big hoover out great for everyday use. Good for doing the car as well
The only 2 tools you really need are the ones that come as standard; one for the carpet (which is excellent) and the thin one secreted in the handle.
You can, of course, use it without any tool which is a wide spout for picking up larger items off a surface, like say, dropped flower petals.
The scent sticks re nice actually, and not a gimmick.
All in all; a v carefully conceived product with plenty of power. Top marks!

Very powerful suction, easy to clean, has some cool features and doesn’t smell with the scented plugs.
Firstly, the charging time. It takes so long to charge versus the time you actually get to use it. I know this is a result of the great auction power, but still, if it runs out, you ain’t using it for a while!
Secondly the filter. It’s great, and I love that it’s washable, but no one warns you how long it takes to dry, like literally 24 hours may not even be enough. And no one also mentions the smell of you don’t let it dry properly. Oh my goodness, the smell!! I’ve had to buy a second filter so I could continue to use the vacuum.
Other than that it’s a great little machine and I’m very happy with it, it’s worked wonders on our stairs!!
The bad bits: Just using the other attachments, it seems to suffer from a loss of suction. The other bad bit is the battery charge only seems to last 15 or 20 minutes. It is very noisy. In order to improve the suction, it is best to clean out the filters regularly. The other thing that is annoying is that the container holding the dust, occasionally falls off and spilling its contents on the floor.
I would recommend this hoover for the car and stairs.
Bought this model for use in my home which is a narrowboat where storage is at a premium. Perfect for the job, nice design. Has it the same suction as my old Henry, of course it hasn’t, you wouldn’t expect it for a small cordless, if you are daft enough to expect it well, you’ll be disappointed, of course you will. I don’t think it’s particularly noisy, people say the smell is a little odd, I don’t find it an issue. Nice little thing. 🙂
I owned another famous brand hand held hoover and the battery on lasted a few years. 365 for a new one, which again lasted 2 years. My G tech has been giving great service for 5 years, so this one was bought for a friend as mine has been so good. Don’t buy a Dyson. Buy this!

I use this only for stairs, to complement the ECO VACS robot that cleans the floors. It is far better than the heavy, awkward Miele with a cord. I found the fragrance foul but it can be easily removed by cutting the wick off.
If they produce a new version I hope they make it lighter, take out the fragrance feature which is not needed, add a high grade filter, and redirect the air outlet. Overall it works well and is in regular use. It is the 20 motorized attachment that makes it effective, so be sure to include that.
Excellent for the home side car. Love it. Easy to use, powerful, quick to charge. When you don’t want to get the vacuum cleaner out this is just the job.

Whilst I wouldn’t be without it, the suction without the power brush is poor especially when you compare it to the air ram.
Decided I had to bite the bullet! Away with back breaking heavy cord vacuums and move with the times and invest in a cordless one
WOW!! Am I glad I did! Chose G Tech as daughter was impressed with hers! Nothing really wows me these days but this is excellent! Weightless, convenient and really does the job added to the fact it came with separate device ideal for stairs, car etc!

I am really impressed by Gtech floor cleaners I have 2 uprights and one hand held. – I have only one reservation regarding the Multi and that is the cost of the battery and the fact that it is difficult to know whether the battery has failed or whether there is some other fault leaving you with no option but to buy a second battery to check. (70). When a replacement cleaner can be bought for 149 the battery price does seem disproportionate .

This has made vacuuming the stairs a doddle. Can’t believe I spent so many years lugging my big vacuum cleaner up and down. It doesn’t have the same suction power as my large upright Dyson but you wouldn’t expect that. It is perfectly adequate for stairs and small jobs
This is my second Gtech vacuum cleaner – the motor died on the first one after many years of good service. I have used cheaper cleaner combinations and good as they are they being light to lug around the house just don’t have the power the Gtech has. Makes cleaning easy.

I needed to replace my old Gtech handheld and chose this model for it’s power and good reviews. Nowhere did it mention the scented filters. I have COPD and have to avoid perfumes and chemicals at all times. I did, however, contact Customer Services who were absolutely brilliant and immediately sent me a different filter. My machine is now exactly what I wanted and is fantastic.
Bought this to keep my furniture clean as I have a white cat that moults frequently. This does exactly what it is mean to do
Great for the stairs and nooks and crannies, lightweight and easy to use. It would be a little better if the battery lasted a bit longer, but no real issues as it does what I require from it.
I won’t be giving up my normal vacuum but – this makes stairs so easy and allows me to clear up the fibre from my yarn spinning without having to get the old cable vacuum out. So easy and good battery life. Almost too many attachments, not sure what I could use some for but, so far, it is making life so much easier.

This is in my opinion the best hand held Vacuum cleaner of them all. It is light with great suction and with the crevice tool and the longer soft brush extender it will make doing the stairs a lot easier. Well done Gtech.

Great cleaner but dropped a star because of the terrible smell (we think) of the scented sticks. You can’t operate it without the cap that holds the scented stick in place so I had to get a scalpel and cut out the offending stick – it is firmly bonded in to the cap. Scents are a very personal thing. They could have supplied a blank cap to use instead, or some unscented plugs that you could put your own essential oil on.
This is a good little vacuum for car and stairs. Not really impressed with the attachments as they aren’t a good fit and can fall off. Also as we have a long haired dog, I find the hairs tend to accumulate on the bristles until I pull them off and get the vacuum to suck them up.

Excellent product. Battery has run time. A little on the heavy side but I can manage and with arthritic hands. Would definitely recommend.
I had looked at so many options before deciding to get the Gtech but am so happy I got it! Was surprised to find it was ready to go but very pleased too! Perfect for stairs and although not as light as I thought, it’s not heavy either. Suction was excellent and I managed to dismantle it to empty quite easily. That’s probably going to be a drawback for me, because I think I will have to do it too often. One thing that took me by surprise was the fact you have to remove the battery before changing tools, didn’t read that until after the event! I also like that you can charge the battery apart from the vac.

This is my second gtech hand held. My last one has lasted many years still works but went for upgrade. This one’s even better. Does a brilliant clean on the stairs, skirting boards, rugs , & quick clean up in kitchen. I’ve had my gtech upright cordless for 6 years and good as the day I got it. Many Thanks.
I’ve got a robovac that does the vast majority of my house, but there are always bits where that can’t reach (stairs are the obvious point, as well as all the small crevices in the skirting board and nooks and crannies – as well as the car).
I was initially put onto this hoover by my Nan who had one and raved about it – whilst I raved about my robo hoover (sad lives we live I know!). After I lent her my robo hoover she was convinced and I bought her one, and after she lent me this Gtech I was also convinced and bought one!!
This is not a replacement for a full sized hoover – I’d say this is complimentary. It does all the little things you don’t want to get a big hoover out for – or in my case the things a robo hoover can’t do.
This is great for the stairs with the powered attachment, I mean absolutely fantastic! We have two sets of stairs in my house (3 floors) and this managed both sets with the powered attachment and also with the crevice tool to really get into the nooks – with battery to spare to clean our mid sized SUV – which it got 3/4″ of the way round before the battery ran out.
The battery lasts for roughly 20 minutes (on a four hour charge), which may seem not a lot of time for the amount it took to charge, but as I said, you won’t be hoovering the entire house with this – you’ll be doing the odd bit of hoovering here and there, and using it for the stairs and the like.
You need to be careful where you pull when you change attachments, as in the instruction manual it tells you to hold by the handle and pull the entire suction head off – I’m not the strongest guy, but I managed to pull so hard it pulled the led light section and electric powered section clean off – pulling out the wires in the process.
Luckily I’m quite handy and was able to take 3 screws out (2 under the dust cartridge) and one underneath the power button (this now has a small crack in it as I had to prise it out). But I was able to reattach the wires and it’s working perfectly fine again!
Luckily if I couldn’t fix it – a replacement body (basically everything except the powered head, tools, dust cartridge & battery) runs quite cheaply and is only roughly 40 to replace.
There is no ‘charging base’ just a cable you plug into the battery (which can be charged whilst in the hoover or separately on its own). This is a plus point or a negative depending on how you look at it – I quite like the fact there is no base and you can charge it easily without having to find another space for something to be out permanently.
As the battery is removable – if you want to extend the life of your hoover between the 4 hour charge, you can obviously buy a second (or third) battery that is all ready charged waiting for use, whilst you charge the original one.
This comes with a decent number of attachments, but if you have a 3D printer (or know someone who has one) there are a multitude of extra nozzles that can be made for even more specific uses.
One slightly bad point, the included cartridge filters are a bit weird smelling.
Also – included in the box is a 50% voucher for the car kit, so worth waiting to get this and then get the car kit at a later date – saving some money!
Even with the slight issue whereby my superior strength broke mine (easy-ish fix though – or cheapish replacement part) and the weird smell – I would definitely recommend this cordless battery powered hoover as a companion to either a regular plug in hoover or a robovac!!

My friend has this little handheld g tech hoover so I had to buy one myself. It’s so much easier to get this out and hoover up the mess my kids make. Instead of getting my big and heavy upright hoover out. This is so easy to use and the suction is amazing.
Removing the dust bin is a little fiddly but other than that it is an excellent cleane
Bought this as I’m fed up lugging the Hoover around when I just want a quick tidy.. This is perfect, and really useful for tricky to reach corners.
A friend recommended this to me, and I bought it then recommended it to another friend who also bought one and is as pleased with it as am I. My stairs have never been cleaner and my nooks and crannies don’t know what’s hit them, I live in an 18th century cottage so there are parts which I couldn’t reach, until now.

I thought this product was Ideal for my needs but when I lifted it out of the box I found it was too heavy for my arthritic hands and did not even get around to using it which was a great disappointment for me as I could find no other problems apart from the weight and my arthritis.
I have had alot of handheld vacuum cleaners and this is by far the best one, it is excellent, it stays charged for a very long time and it’s very powerful, very pleased with it and thoroughly recommend it.

Go the right sort and number of attachments – nothing superfluous. Weighty enough to feel robust and to indicate that it has a powerful enough motor but not heavy to use. Not 100% successful suction but pretty good. Decent battery life from full charge. Easy to empty. No complaints at all. Probably better than something cheaper.

The cleaner has very good suction, is easy to empty. It is very handy for use on the stairs, and picks up cat hairs no problem!
A little on the heavy side for a hand held. But it performs very well. Main problem is removing and refitting the waste container. This can be very annoying and often feels like the tab on it will break. So far it hasn’t, but????

Our Dyson broke and so rather than simply replace we thought it worth giving this a try based on reviews and the price.
It’s proved to be a great decision. The suction of this unit is just as good and equally as good as the Dyson for cleaning the stairs etc. Glad we saved a significant amount and bought this – highly recommended.
I bought this to replace my Dyson handheld vacuum and, I have to say that this Gtech is more powerful and has a proper on/off button unlike the Dyson that has a trigger which is terrible for people with arthritic hands. I recommend this Gtech and it is a lot cheaper than Dyson.
For 12+ years I have had a kirby. Powerful but cumbersome and comes with lots of attachments that take up space. It also needs servicing every year which I didn’t mind but for the pushy service men that just wanted you to purchase other products. I could go on but I won’t as I want to express my pleasure at the gtech. Powerful, easy to store and use,light to carry.Arrived the day after I ordered it. Can’t ask for more.
