Needed a smaller depth washing machine/dryer to go into a cupboard. This perfectly fit the bill, but be aware that the size quoted isn’t the actual(add approx 80mmto include door and hisesat rear.) The machine is easy to use and extremely quiet. Unable to comment on energy efficiency as still to early into owning it. I would certainly recommend on noise reduction alone

Bought this to replace my old Bosch VWF2401 that I had for over twenty odd years. Glad I purchased the 8kg ‘HWD80’ Model, as any thicker would’ve been a problem to get through the narrow doors I have. Definitely a tad deeper than the 46cm stated in the product dimensions by at least 4cm.
All in all extremely impressed with this Washer-Dryer. Drum Noise is almost silent until its doing a heavy spin. Most of the noise appears to be from vibration in where it’s situated, so may even be a bit quieter once I use the sticky muffling pads provided. Speaking of the drum, the size is huge compared to my old one, more than enough to accommodate the weekly wash of a small family, let alone me on my own!
Dryer also dries the capacity as it should, I half loaded the drum and it had no problems on the Smart Wash/Dry getting my bedding dried. The dryer itself isn’t too loud either, can barely hear it from the next room. The interior light for the drum is also very helpful in loading and unloading, especially in low light conditions.
The Cycles are all of variable lengths, and all settings like Temperature, Spin and Dry Time can be changed. It is also possible to completely customise a cycle to whatever you are washing so you can really get what you want out of a cycle.
My only complaint; the touch screen buttons. It can be a bit temperamental and fidgety. Might be my big sausage fingers but it always seems to lack any responsiveness without pressing hard on it. Would’ve been nice also to have had some functionality to connect it to WiFi and run cycles from an app like some other brands have, but that’s not a feature I’m overtly worried about.

Machine looks good and works well. Not noisy except when its running in SPIN-DRY mode.
I was afraid that the dryer function may not be good as in the past I have noticed that washer-dryers are not very effective and people still install a separate dryer. However, this machine does a very good job of drying clothes.
With 2 weeks of usage, as of now, I am happy with this product.
First time getting a haeir washing machine. Have to say I’m really impressed so far with it. Functions are great and like the smart WiFi feature as well which gives you options for checking how long is left on a wash to being able to remote select your wash when say for example your on your way back home and you wanted the washing done when your back.
Only issue I had was the home install by Amazon home team as the guys didn’t connect the pipes properly resulting in the kitchen flooding. Would have installed the thing myself but I was away from home with work for a few days and my wife was at home and the machine we had broke down so we needed this one up and running.
But Amazon had compensated us for the damage so grateful for that.
Great machine but poor instructions and some missing features. For example, there is no way to stop it when drying. With a dryer you would expect you could press a button to stop it any time, or even just open the door and see how dry they are to decide if you want to leave them in or not. But with this machine there is no stop button and the door is locked !!! You literally have to turn the machine off then reset it to get it to unlock the door.
We couldn’t use it straight away because the drain hose is unusually short, so I had to buy an extension from a local shop. However the performance more than makes up for that! Our old 7kg Beko machine was so much louder, when the Haier is running almost all the sound is from the clothes tumbling. No residual odours even on items that previously didn’t smell very good. Several people in the house has sensitive skin so we make use of the extra rinse function – you can keep pressing the button for 1, 2 or 3 additional rinses. All in all I’m very happy with this machine.
Great machine so much quieter than our old one, very easy to use. Just make sure to level it correctly, slight adjustment while it was spinning helped find perfect level to reduce noise and vibration. My only negative is the sheer weight and sticky rubber feet made it really hard to slide into place and did leave black marks on the kitchen floor, which come off after a bit of scrubbing.
Been using it for a few weeks and it is very quiet and is easily the most stable machine we have ever had – no jumping and banging about the kitchen floor. It replaced a similar LG direct drive motor machine we had used for about 8 years and seems a fitting replacement.
Was apprehensive on the washer drier thing. Space saved was the deciding factor plus the Black Friday price trigger.
Glad we bought the 10 kg version as it lives in a cupboard upstairs and it’s with plenty of space about it. It sits on one of those vibration mats, 6 from a diy place. Same as a normal washer no extra things to worry about. Drains washing and drying down the pipe. The lint tray seems to be around the door and this is then washed down the drain on next wash. The same little door on front for the penny trap. I’m not sure how it keeps the condenser clean as I was always cleaning out the wet lint from the condenser on my stand alone condenser tumble drier unit.
I drain the penny trap filter every couple of weeks after I’ve finished just to eliminate any smells. Never found a penny either.
Performance. The menus take some getting used to. I stick to cotton then select speed, 1400 presently, then temp 40-60 depending on clothes. That’s it, when finished I take out the stuff I don’t want tumbled then shake the other stuff about a bit, place in my woolen drying ball things and stick it on 1 hour. I also remove the powder tray when drying and have it removed when the machine is idle any how.
I notice that when I start the drying function the machine uses some water. The clothes come out dry enough it still get stuck on the airer over night. I don’t like drying things crispy. Cuts down upon moisture in the home until I can dry outside again.
I’ve used gel pods, powder, liquid all seem good. I’ve used soda crystals, white vinegar and dettol stuff, all seem good. I’ve used tumble dry sheet and those woolen ball things, all seems good.
I don’t use the fabric softer liquid stuff.
Noise. It is quiet. Washing is loudest when it’s getting up to 1400 rpm, once there it’s fairly quiet. Drying is very quiet. I keep the cupboard door shut on washing but not drying.
Finally, it does look nice but more importantly it washes well and saves space. Quieter than my old separate machines. Doesn’t seem as robust, with more to go wrong, as it does more jobs but time will tell.
If it lasts at this current performance then I’m very pleased.
This machine is ridiculously quiet. I bought it as a Which? Best Buy for efficiency etc. but I hadn’t anticipated how quiet it would be, which is my favourite feature.
It’s quite shallow, but with a larger drum to make up for it. Relatively simple to use with a combination of a dial and touch sensitive area.
It looks great too.

Our previous washer of this make lasted nearly 15 years so we hope this will be as good. It’s very easy to use, mind I must confess we were apprehensive the first time,as this has a lot more programmes.
The washing has come out beautifully clean with less moisture than our previous one.
I haven’t tried the dryer as yet so can’t comment will just make sure I follow instructions, as this one offers more than my previous.
The big drum I like as it gives me the opportunity of doing a big wash instead of several which saves time and power.
Overall I am very pleased up to now only had it two weeks.
I would also like to complement on the two men who delivered and fitted. They were very friendly pleasant, respectful and did a great job, they also made sure the washer was working OK before leaving.

Compared to my last washing machine, this gives outstanding washing results. You can customise all 14 preset programs, add up to 3 extra rinses, and adjust the spin speed from 400 to 1400. Change the temperature from 0 to 90c and set wether your clothes are soiled with blood, grass, wine, juice, milk or mud. You can set the time for when you want the machine to start or end. As for the tumble dryer, i was equally impressed with the results. I can’t believe how well it dries the clothes, without being harsh on the fabric. Again, you can adjust all the settings on that, or let it do it’s own thing. Either way, the results are impressive. I have found a little trick to speed up the drying process, and that is, open the detergent draw whilst drying. This lets out a lot of the condensation, thus, cutting down the drying time considerably. You don’t need to keep checking on the clothes either, as it has all the relevant sensors built to take care of that. My machine is situated on floorboards, which isn’t ideal. It’s naturally going to generate more sound pollution this way, as to installing the machine on a solid concrete floor. Build quality of the machine is above average. It also has a light inside the drum. Now if you’re not used to having a light inside the drum, you actually wonder how you ever lived without one. This little light makes loading and unloading the machine somehow easier. It makes a mundane job enjoyable. The front panel is mainly touch sensitive which i prefer. This allows you to have more control over the machine. To top off my review, this machine also comes with a 2 year labor guarantee, and a 10 year parts guarantee. I mention this because i think that Haiers previous models weren’t without there problems. And when they did go wrong, which I found out through vigorous research, they went wrong mainly after a few washes into their life, leaving their customers totally in the dark. I am pretty sure that they have been forced to sort all these issues out, otherwise companies like Amazon would end up refusing to sell Haier products. When buying any new appliances, or anything electrical, i have always exhausted every avenue when it comes to research. I want to be sure that I’m not just buying something because it either looks good, or some salesman says its good, or because of the make. You would be surprised how many white goods manufactures are made in the same factory, using the same components, with the only difference being the badge on the front of the appliance, and maybe a few minor cosmetic changes, but with a substantial difference in the price, that’s the truth of it , that’s the world we live in today. To anyone looking at buying this product, i would say that you can purchase this product with confidence. Enjoy.
Feels like a quality made product- German brand. I did my research and reviews and went for this over the more well known brands. I installed it myself, and it worked straight awayphew!
Tried short cycle, wash and dry cycle, which was long but was drying as well. It works out the weight and how long it needs accordingly. So far really happy. It also just looks really great in my kitchen! I even bought the fridge freezer of same brand and LOVE THAT TOO!

Nice looking machine however it is being returned for a refund as there appears to be a design fault with the drier. Within the first year had to call 4 times for an engineer as the FD error kept showing, indicating a problem with the drying cycle. Sending it back and will be getting a Samsung instead. On a hood note the Haier customer service is very good, when I called they were very helpful. Also I did not have to beg or barter with Amazon for a refund and was easily helped by amazon to arrange a collection.
I bought this washing machine just over a month ago and have only used it a handful of times with a mixed load with dye snatchers (as I live on my own and the drum size is huge compared to my old machine). This machine is almost silent compared to my old one and so much more energy efficient-shown by the figures on my energy monitor. I didn’t think I had switched it on properly the first time I used it as it is so quiet but it gives a slight click when the door is locked. You are also advised to use a coin to clean out the pump once a month (which I haven’t done yet, so can’t comment on how easy this is to do). The machine itself is easy to operate using a dial and I like that the digital display shows you the temperature of the program and how long it’s got to run for. It is also easy to dry out the wide rubber seals of the drum and door (which is got tinted glass so you can’t see the washing)
A big downside is the manual-it refers to lots of different models and functions and it is really poorly laid out and confusing to follow. I still haven’t figured out what all the machine does and how the steam function works but I think I will get there eventually given time.
Overall it is a great value machine.

So happy I bought this. I was worried about how dry the clothes would be but wow. Bone dry. It’s a long program but the book says it’s eco so I hope so. It’s quiet and looks good. Highly recommend

Great machine but installers were not the best. Did not level the machine so vibrated violently when in spin mode, made some lame excuse about not wanting to fit the new water hose! Should have gone to AO.com as their installers are first class and was only 10 more…live and lea

Ordered and delivered and fitted in 3 days with the most polite delivery crew I have ever met. The removal of old and installation of new was seamless and the machine is fabulous. It looks great, is so much bigger and quieter than my old machine and the 1400 spin means things come out much drier if you don’t want to tumble them. It washes brilliantly and although I’ve only used a couple of programmes so far it’s done really well. Looks very sleek in the kitchen and the light up drum is a great feature. If I had to make any suggestions it would only be that I would like the door hinges to allow for the door to go further back when opening but that’s simply because the area in front of my machine is narrow and the door sticking out is a slight pain. Highly recommend for the money

Delivered, installed & tested by Amazon 14/12/2021 as a Christmas present for my daughter when everywhere else said “out of stock” Searched online for days and eventually arrived at this make & model which l’d never heard of. But after purchasing very comforting to find it was Which magazine best buy 2020. My daughter informs me that she quickly familiarised herself with the controls and has been using it ever since with no problems. When visiting it appeared to be of good quality build and very space age with it’s touch control facia and drum light. It’s not cheap but so far it has been money well spent.
So we love this washer/dryer and could not ask for a better machine. But here is the crux; we ordered it and allegedly missed checking the “buy now with delivery and removal” box which added a total of 20 to the delivery fee. I say alleged because the integrity of the first delivery team was put into question. We ordered on Sunday for delivery and install on Tuesday. A large man and small woman showed up with the unit, dropped it down the stairs to our flat and left it, uninstalled. Now that’s bad, right? We called CS and were basically told we had to order another washer/dryer, adding the delivery/removal fee because there was no way to correct the mistake. Paying for the delivery and removal of the old machine was half the price of the new machine so economically it wouldn’t work for us. It’s so confusing that an organisation of this magnitude couldn’t organise a service which they honestly offer. In the end? We got a new machine but really unhappy as customers. And it didn’t seem to matter to anyone. Edited; be aware!!!! There is a fault in the dryer, CODE FB. Haier is aware this is a factory error and will take anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks to fix at their discretion. When scheduling for this inevitable fix, make sure the parts are sent to you directly as the repair person does not have parts with them which will add weeks to the repair. Haier does not care if you are happy or unhappy. I would honestly reconsider buying this machine. The hassle from both Amazon and Haier has made it not worth it.
I researched this item well, its a great machine washes clean, flexible programmes, not so quiet on the full speed setting but quick and bearable. Dryer works well and the time can be tailored to your needs. The one I ordered from Amazon had to be returned as the installers took out the bolts but left the iron transportation bars on the back which damages the drum when used. As a result the machine made an awful racket (there is an example video of the vibration and noise posted but the buyer thought it was the machine itself rattling) and actually turned itself off the couple times I tried it. When I realised the problem I sent it back and got one from elsewhere..those installers did take the back bars off but I had to explain to them what the noise reduction pads supplied were for! Note to Amazon and all suppliers – take time to train your installers – not every machine is the same!!!!
Apparently they tested this machine by standing 7 coins on they’re sides and on full spin they all remained standing. Well i can confirm i did it with A 1 coin & A 50p & both passed the test.. Also the machine looks great. It washes clothes very well. So yes I’m very HAPPY With my new machine. Would i recommend it to others? I certainly would without hesitation. I’ve heard on several occasions buy cheap buy twice. Well i have already learned my lesson there. I beleive these machines are tested for a working life equivalent to 20 years of service the same as 2 other very well known German brands. I phoned and added the 2 years parts & manifacturers faults free 2 year Guarantee. I really hope i wont be needing to use it. I have to say for now I’m over the moon an easy 5 stars from me. Thank you.. Ohh the only thing i will say it weighs the same as A small house. Like yes it’s seriously heavy. And read all the instructions well before 1st use make syre all cross suports / transit bolts/ bars and screws are removed & stored safely incase you ever move and have to package it for transit again. Not like my mother who bins everything then recently moved and had her machine damaged due to being moved incorrectly.. That’s all folks.
For years I have had a tiny 3kg washing machine that was so noisy it had to go on at night as my son wouldn’t tolerate it otherwise. We finally decided that enough was enough and after some kitchen cabinet cutting we bought a ‘normal’ sized washer and dryer, seeing as my dryer from the late 70’s had started to make a knocking sound too. I did my research and decided on this one. I am not disappointed! This is a mid priced machine and is well worth the money. Firstly, it is so quiet that I can have the machine on in the day with my son around and he doesn’t immediately try to leave the house, it was worth the price for that alone. Secondly, it’s really easy to use and I love that it adjusts the washing time depending on the weight of the load. It looks good, the light is a nice touch. If it has any flaws they are the following but they in no means take away from it’s brilliance. 1. It would be nice if you could turn the light on if you wanted as it only goes on at the start and end of a wash (if the machine is still on) and because it has a dark door you can’t see what’s going on inside without the light, no bigge really. 2. The front, especially the door, is quite static’y so attracts dust super easy, meh. 3. If you don’t take the clothes out of the machine as soon as it finishes drying they can be super creased, *shrug*. So, in conclusion, if you wanted a new washer/dryer you will not be disappointed if you buy this – the novelty hasn’t worn off yet and I’ve had it about a month now!
My first Haier product which replaced a 9 year old Hotpoint WD. Easyish to install – tho machine is very heavy so needs a couple of people to manoeuvre, plus there are lots of bolts and bars to remove when you unpack it. Had a fault when delivered but fixed by the Haier within a week so all fine now.

I-Refresh is incredibly handy for cushion covers, coats, jackets etc – basically anything you can’t wash, it’s a bit like having your own dry cleaning facility
Drying – way better than my old machine, dries a full load of cottons in less than an hour using auto function
Big drum – means fewer washes; also means that quick washes are more effective as clothes have more room to move
Slim – fits easily under the counter
Looks – very sleek and modern
Watch out for:
Cant interrupt programmes halfway through not even drying which has to complete before you can unlock the drum
Eco wash takes ages – washes at 40′ and lasts over 2.5 hours; seems to use just as much water and way more movement than a standard wash, so not really getting how this saves money
Instructions – no information on what the programmes actually do! Trial and error and some videos on YouTube. Also note the manual is wrong on the different drying levels – the T-shirt is ready to wear not cupboard dry (which is the hanger)
Drum – the front door is plastic and a fingerprint and dust magnet, you’ll be cleaning it frequently!

Been wanting a washer dryer ever since I moved to the UK. I was hesitant as they are not known to be effecient. Read many reviews about clothes still being damped etc. My first wash I did mix with a dry cycle. Left it over night as it took 4 hours to complete. Next morning clothes were still damp. Frustration kicks in because it spent 4 hours doing what? I decided to try the fast program (which takes 1h 10min)… I did not select the dry cycle instead I waited for the program to be done and selected the seperate dry program afterwards instead. I changed the dry level until I saw all three icons pop up and a timer starting from 30 min up to 1h 30 min. Did an hour first and extended it with 30 min. Not sure how much energy it uses, but this works best to dry my clothes. In total it took 2h 40 min to wash and dry your clothes properly.
This really is a quiet machine with hardly any motor noise even during the spin cycle, which is ideal for my open plan kitchen/living room. The machine automatically rinses its door seals to keep them clean, however there is usually a little clean water left on the seal (even after a drying cycle), so I just give it a quick dab dry with a tea towel before i pull my dried laundry out, but that is the only negative I can say about the machine, but this is well worth it for the assurance that it provides that no residues and mildew will not build up in the machine.
I purchased this as it was described as ultra-quiet and as I stated at the start of my review it does not disappoint. We needed a quiet washer/dryer as our dog barked at our old machine when it changed cycle and we have an open plan house following our recent re-model – This washer/dryer is quieter than our Kettle. I have only had a just over a week so I have not really had the opportunity to use many of the cycles yet but I can confirm that the quick 15 minute wash is excellent and the dryer dried our clothes at the first attempt, something my previous washer/dryer was not able to do.
In summary, I am happy with this washer dryer. There are plenty of washing options. The timings for the options are pre-set but you can easily change them. Another important factor is that the dryer is really good with three drying options. The auto weigh function and the fact that it can automatically adjust the timing just work so well. The machine is so very quiet! It also looks great. Absolutely no negatives, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The best washer/dryer I have ever owned!

I decided to purchase a new machine as my old one was over 14 years old and needed upgrading. With the current pandemic and washing a lot more frequently than normal I decided on this model due to the larger drum capacity and added dryer. It arrived fairly promptly however did arrive with a few scratches on either side of the machine which was disappointing and the reason I’ve dropped a star. Thankfully, due to placing it underneath my kitchen counter they are not visible, though I know they’re there. It has a lot of different programmes which is useful and it is quiet when running, though noisier than my last machine when spinning. Not sure if it’s supposed to be that loud or not, but as long as I don’t do my washing late at night then it’s not too much of an issue.
We already had a washer/dryer by Samsung but needed to upgrade to a bigger better one as we had nothing but issues with the old one. The instructions were easy to follow and once the machine was in I couldn’t wait to get it on. The machine has a light inside which is so handy. I started with just a wash cycle and I couldn’t believe how much more washing fitted in this 12kg drum compared to the previous 9kg drum or how much quieter the machine was when it started and when spinning. Then I tried a wash/dry cycle which I was dreading at first to be honest as our previous Samsung machine made a really loud whirring noise when the drying cycle started and would take a minimum of 6 hours to dry 6kg of washing. I put the full 9kg of washing on the dry cycle and tried for 2 hours at first, when it had finished it was still a bit damp so put it on again and it was for 1.5hours and that did the trick. So 9kg of clothing dried in just under 4hours compared to 6kg and over 6 hours and best of all no loud whirring sound.

Having never owned a washer/dryer before I feel like I’m now living a life of luxury and am wondering why I didn’t make this step years ago! It’s literally a game changer and time saver! I’m loving not having to put the washing out or swap machines!
I’m loving how energy efficient this is, it makes me want to use it over and over again and it doesn’t make me feel guilty using the dryer over putting the washing out!
The large capacity of 12kg is amazing, I can fit so much in the drum it saves me having to do as many washes a week plus it’s perfect for duvets and larger items too.
There are lots of settings so it’s great for many materials and on a couple of them you can manually change the spins, rinses, temperatures etc. There are 3 different drying options which I’m still playing around with-so far i’m enjoying the options and seeing the different results.
The machine is so quiet, it’s a godsend! My washing machine was quite noisy but I often don’t even know this is really on because it is just a soft background noise.
It looks modern and the lights are actually one of my favourite features as is the steam function, I’m looking forward to testing that out on stains! The LED lights are so snazzy and the light inside the drum makes loading and unloading so much easier, especially when I have to find something to take it out etc.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, not just large households. Just remember to take the transportations bolts out of the back before using it like I didn’t!!!!
You won’t be disappointed-i’m showing my age here but it’s my best purchase so far this year!!!

The only thing I’d say is that when a cycle has ended it doesn’t beep or make a noise to say its ready, minor negative but not a reason to avoid purchase!

I love my new washer dryer. So worth the money. Dryer does not take long at all. Most washer dryer take for every to dry not this one 100% recommend. Looks amazing and all touch screen. Very good warranty.

Needed a smaller depth washing machine/dryer to go into a cupboard. This perfectly fit the bill, but be aware that the size quoted isn’t the actual(add approx 80mmto include door and hisesat rear.) The machine is easy to use and extremely quiet. Unable to comment on energy efficiency as still to early into owning it. I would certainly recommend on noise reduction alone

All in all extremely impressed with this Washer-Dryer. Drum Noise is almost silent until its doing a heavy spin. Most of the noise appears to be from vibration in where it’s situated, so may even be a bit quieter once I use the sticky muffling pads provided. Speaking of the drum, the size is huge compared to my old one, more than enough to accommodate the weekly wash of a small family, let alone me on my own!
Dryer also dries the capacity as it should, I half loaded the drum and it had no problems on the Smart Wash/Dry getting my bedding dried. The dryer itself isn’t too loud either, can barely hear it from the next room. The interior light for the drum is also very helpful in loading and unloading, especially in low light conditions.
The Cycles are all of variable lengths, and all settings like Temperature, Spin and Dry Time can be changed. It is also possible to completely customise a cycle to whatever you are washing so you can really get what you want out of a cycle.
My only complaint; the touch screen buttons. It can be a bit temperamental and fidgety. Might be my big sausage fingers but it always seems to lack any responsiveness without pressing hard on it. Would’ve been nice also to have had some functionality to connect it to WiFi and run cycles from an app like some other brands have, but that’s not a feature I’m overtly worried about.
All in all quite happy with buying!
Machine looks good and works well. Not noisy except when its running in SPIN-DRY mode.
I was afraid that the dryer function may not be good as in the past I have noticed that washer-dryers are not very effective and people still install a separate dryer. However, this machine does a very good job of drying clothes.
With 2 weeks of usage, as of now, I am happy with this product.
First time getting a haeir washing machine. Have to say I’m really impressed so far with it. Functions are great and like the smart WiFi feature as well which gives you options for checking how long is left on a wash to being able to remote select your wash when say for example your on your way back home and you wanted the washing done when your back.
Only issue I had was the home install by Amazon home team as the guys didn’t connect the pipes properly resulting in the kitchen flooding. Would have installed the thing myself but I was away from home with work for a few days and my wife was at home and the machine we had broke down so we needed this one up and running.
But Amazon had compensated us for the damage so grateful for that.
Overall a great machine
The dryer take to long and it’s not very efficient.
Been using it for a few weeks and it is very quiet and is easily the most stable machine we have ever had – no jumping and banging about the kitchen floor. It replaced a similar LG direct drive motor machine we had used for about 8 years and seems a fitting replacement.
Glad we bought the 10 kg version as it lives in a cupboard upstairs and it’s with plenty of space about it. It sits on one of those vibration mats, 6 from a diy place. Same as a normal washer no extra things to worry about. Drains washing and drying down the pipe. The lint tray seems to be around the door and this is then washed down the drain on next wash. The same little door on front for the penny trap. I’m not sure how it keeps the condenser clean as I was always cleaning out the wet lint from the condenser on my stand alone condenser tumble drier unit.
I drain the penny trap filter every couple of weeks after I’ve finished just to eliminate any smells. Never found a penny either.
Performance. The menus take some getting used to. I stick to cotton then select speed, 1400 presently, then temp 40-60 depending on clothes. That’s it, when finished I take out the stuff I don’t want tumbled then shake the other stuff about a bit, place in my woolen drying ball things and stick it on 1 hour. I also remove the powder tray when drying and have it removed when the machine is idle any how.
I notice that when I start the drying function the machine uses some water. The clothes come out dry enough it still get stuck on the airer over night. I don’t like drying things crispy. Cuts down upon moisture in the home until I can dry outside again.
I’ve used gel pods, powder, liquid all seem good. I’ve used soda crystals, white vinegar and dettol stuff, all seem good. I’ve used tumble dry sheet and those woolen ball things, all seems good.
I don’t use the fabric softer liquid stuff.
Noise. It is quiet. Washing is loudest when it’s getting up to 1400 rpm, once there it’s fairly quiet. Drying is very quiet. I keep the cupboard door shut on washing but not drying.
Finally, it does look nice but more importantly it washes well and saves space. Quieter than my old separate machines. Doesn’t seem as robust, with more to go wrong, as it does more jobs but time will tell.
If it lasts at this current performance then I’m very pleased.
It’s quite shallow, but with a larger drum to make up for it. Relatively simple to use with a combination of a dial and touch sensitive area.

I can’t find any negatives so far, and I’ve been using it for a few months.
The washing has come out beautifully clean with less moisture than our previous one.
I haven’t tried the dryer as yet so can’t comment will just make sure I follow instructions, as this one offers more than my previous.
The big drum I like as it gives me the opportunity of doing a big wash instead of several which saves time and power.
Overall I am very pleased up to now only had it two weeks.
I would also like to complement on the two men who delivered and fitted. They were very friendly pleasant, respectful and did a great job, they also made sure the washer was working OK before leaving.

Tried short cycle, wash and dry cycle, which was long but was drying as well. It works out the weight and how long it needs accordingly. So far really happy. It also just looks really great in my kitchen! I even bought the fridge freezer of same brand and LOVE THAT TOO!

Nice looking machine however it is being returned for a refund as there appears to be a design fault with the drier. Within the first year had to call 4 times for an engineer as the FD error kept showing, indicating a problem with the drying cycle. Sending it back and will be getting a Samsung instead. On a hood note the Haier customer service is very good, when I called they were very helpful. Also I did not have to beg or barter with Amazon for a refund and was easily helped by amazon to arrange a collection.

A big downside is the manual-it refers to lots of different models and functions and it is really poorly laid out and confusing to follow. I still haven’t figured out what all the machine does and how the steam function works but I think I will get there eventually given time.
Overall it is a great value machine.

So happy I bought this. I was worried about how dry the clothes would be but wow. Bone dry. It’s a long program but the book says it’s eco so I hope so. It’s quiet and looks good. Highly recommend

Great machine but installers were not the best. Did not level the machine so vibrated violently when in spin mode, made some lame excuse about not wanting to fit the new water hose! Should have gone to AO.com as their installers are first class and was only 10 more…live and lea

Ordered and delivered and fitted in 3 days with the most polite delivery crew I have ever met. The removal of old and installation of new was seamless and the machine is fabulous. It looks great, is so much bigger and quieter than my old machine and the 1400 spin means things come out much drier if you don’t want to tumble them. It washes brilliantly and although I’ve only used a couple of programmes so far it’s done really well. Looks very sleek in the kitchen and the light up drum is a great feature. If I had to make any suggestions it would only be that I would like the door hinges to allow for the door to go further back when opening but that’s simply because the area in front of my machine is narrow and the door sticking out is a slight pain. Highly recommend for the money

All the usual features but it pays to read the manual as altering a program’s parameters doesn’t seem as instinctive as the Hotpoint. The Eco setting is getting a lot of use and adjusts the wash cycle according to weight etc – so far it has given great satisfaction.

Very quiet, even on spin
Light in drum – who knew this would be so handy
Programmes – good range and easy to set; most can be customised with spin speed and temperature, including the super quick Express Wash which is very handy (my old Hotpoint didn’t allow this)
I-Refresh is incredibly handy for cushion covers, coats, jackets etc – basically anything you can’t wash, it’s a bit like having your own dry cleaning facility
Drying – way better than my old machine, dries a full load of cottons in less than an hour using auto function
Big drum – means fewer washes; also means that quick washes are more effective as clothes have more room to move
Slim – fits easily under the counter
Looks – very sleek and modern
Watch out for:
Cant interrupt programmes halfway through not even drying which has to complete before you can unlock the drum
Eco wash takes ages – washes at 40′ and lasts over 2.5 hours; seems to use just as much water and way more movement than a standard wash, so not really getting how this saves money
Instructions – no information on what the programmes actually do! Trial and error and some videos on YouTube. Also note the manual is wrong on the different drying levels – the T-shirt is ready to wear not cupboard dry (which is the hanger)
Drum – the front door is plastic and a fingerprint and dust magnet, you’ll be cleaning it frequently!
Overall a very impressive machine!

I purchased this as it was described as ultra-quiet and as I stated at the start of my review it does not disappoint. We needed a quiet washer/dryer as our dog barked at our old machine when it changed cycle and we have an open plan house following our recent re-model – This washer/dryer is quieter than our Kettle. I have only had a just over a week so I have not really had the opportunity to use many of the cycles yet but I can confirm that the quick 15 minute wash is excellent and the dryer dried our clothes at the first attempt, something my previous washer/dryer was not able to do.
In summary, I am happy with this washer dryer. There are plenty of washing options. The timings for the options are pre-set but you can easily change them. Another important factor is that the dryer is really good with three drying options. The auto weigh function and the fact that it can automatically adjust the timing just work so well. The machine is so very quiet! It also looks great. Absolutely no negatives, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The best washer/dryer I have ever owned!
