It’s not German brand as someone stated but Chinese. Do your research before you speak. They say it’s good but haven’t tried yet.

I really like this machine, it’s quiet, it washes the clothes very well and has lots of settings like fast which takes about one hour and a 15 minute wash, which takes about a quarter of an hour. I find it dries a lot of clothes in quite a small amount of time which is really useful.
Make sure you level the machine before installing it, otherwise it makes a horrible noise when spinning, but once it’s levelled it’s really quiet and all round a very good washer dryer!

So easy to use looks great plus I love the light inside the drum helps find the dark stuff also looks good very quiet machine brilliant so far only had it a few weeks but totally worth the money

This is a fantastic machine well worth the money and quiet. If you give a large load an extra max spin it’s almost dry! Couldn’t recommend it more.

After have 5 brand new hoover washer dryer kept breaking down, so decided to go with this machine and I highly recommend it to anyone. You couldn’t ask for a better machine. Very quiet, great cleaning quality! Dryer works perfect too. Not noisy and the loading light very helpful!
Nice design. Quite straight forward and easy to use. Some handy features. Interior light, quite useful while loading and unloading, large opening is good. Getting the door open needs a good tug.
All that said, it’s really quiet on both wash and dry sequences, gets everything nice and clean and feels like a sturdy unit. We were impressed by the build quality of a Haier fridge freezer purchased earlier in the year, which influenced our purchase. I would definitely recommend this machine if it fits your requirements.

The dryer is better than I expected. There was a bit smelly after the first or second dry , but it goes away when we use it more. Very good machine, highly recommended.
Upon moving into my new apartment, the previous owners left the original Hotpoint washing machine which worked ok.
However it started to develop several issues over the course of 7 months.
I fixed those several issues, and kept it going until black Friday came and I thought it was time to upgrade.
I was eyeing up the new version of the same model I had “Hotpoint RD966JKDUKN” but it was always out of stock.
So I looked at alternatives. My first choice was a Samsung machine, most of my friends and family have Samsung washing machines and they have been very good.
The Samsung range of machines had quite a deep depth which may not be suitable for my kitchen.
I came across the Haier model range and was intrigued by its modern looks and features.
Haier is very popular in Asia, but its just starting to make a few waves here in the UK and Europe.
There have been a few reviews where people have had problems too which was also a concern.
With Haier being a direct drive with no belts the noise levels were pretty low which really ticked the boxes.
Further research into the brand I decided to go for one.
I went for a Drier model, granted drier models aren’t as reliable as their separate counterparts, but the thought that I would only seldom use the drier for duvet covers during the winter months.
I had two main requirements for a machine, first requirement would be its noise levels, with my kitchen being open plan I wanted a quiet machine.
With the second, I needed a machine with a small depth size. Where the machine will be positioned, my kitchen sink cupboard door will swing out in front of it so the depth of the machine has to be taken into consideration.
At 46cm depth, no other machine came close in matching this spec.
Once purchased, I installed and positioned the unit myself.
The transit bolts were a little tricky to remove but came out with a little persuasion
The acoustic foam strips were also fitted, not too sure they make much difference but I fitted them anyways as it was super easy.
Things to look out for upon first run
-Always use new washers if using your existing cold water hose. (I used my existing hose as its an extra long one due to the position of the cold water pipe feed)
-If the machine rattles at high speed, the machine is not level. Adjust the feet of the machine.
(May prove tricky if there is no room to access the feet whilst the machine is in position)
A little kitchen cupboard/skirting disassembly may be needed)
What a lovely machine.
It looks fantastic, the touch screen interface is nice to use, and once you get to the know the menu it’s a breeze to use.
There is a very slight delay when pressing the on/off button which is normal.
A few pro and cons listed below from my experiences in using the machine.
Pro’s
-Modern Looking with great features
-Rotational knob has a lovely damped feeling when rotated (doesn’t feel cheap)
-Love the LED illuminated light inside the drum (Stays on for around 2 or 3 mins and then switches off)
(You can twist the main knob to turn the light back on during use if you want)
-Very quiet when on high speed spin and normal wash spin (The water fill and drain pump is quite noisy though — although I don’t think any machine can get rid of this noise)
-Build quality seems fantastic, including opening the door and its seals. It should last a long time if cared for.
-Wash programmes are customisable and you can select what you want from different temperatures and spin speeds.
-Auto wash programmes are there if you want a quick and easy selection
-Easy to access pump maintenance flap. Features a drain tube to empty prior to removing the drain pump filter which is handy.
-Wash cycle is A rated on the new scale
-I-refresh feature actually does work (Removes odours from clothing)
-Two year guarantee from the manufacturer (if you choose the washer only version its 5 years)
Con’s
-Touch screen interface is not as sensitive as your phone for example
-Not so simple to use, you do need to read the manual
-Not really suitable if you need a simple machine with one knob and a start button.
-Due to the updated energy rating. The machine drops to a D rating due to the drier feature.
-Not really suited to the older generation (It may be too complicated to use for them)
-No wi-fi or app control features
I was abit sceptical in trying a new brand, but I am glad I took the plunge and purchased one.
As per the lists above, there are a lot more pro’s than con’s to this machine.
I really didn’t mind the unit not having any Wi-Fi or app control features.
You still have to physically load and empty the machine with clothes, so you have to set it all up and run it so apps and Wi-Fi doesn’t really make any sense to a washing machine in my opinion.
Providing you are fine with the modern touch screen interface this machine is fantastic.
Wait for special sale events where it’s usually reduced in price.

Love this washer dryer. Had bad experiences with other online appliance groups but no complaints with this one. So long as you follow manufacturers instructions and take out the transport rods everything should be just fine.
I love the interface. It looks cool. Not too noisy. A wash dry takes a seriously long time and will keep amending the time throughout but generally everything comes out dry. Occasionally if some clothes got tangled in a corner of a bed sheet they might not be fully dry but otherwise really good.
Its often quicker to do a wash then a dry rather than a wash dry cycle but i often put my laundry in before i go to bed on a wash dry cycle so it’s all clean and dry for the morning. Quiet enough to sleep through with it downstairs.

The one I ordered from Amazon had to be returned as the installers took out the bolts but left the iron transportation bars on the back which damages the drum when used. As a result the machine made an awful racket (there is an example video of the vibration and noise posted but the buyer thought it was the machine itself rattling) and actually turned itself off the couple times I tried it. When I realised the problem I sent it back and got one from elsewhere..those installers did take the back bars off but I had to explain to them what the noise reduction pads supplied were for! Note to Amazon and all suppliers – take time to train your installers – not every machine is the same!!!!

My first Haier product which replaced a 9 year old Hotpoint WD. Easyish to install – tho machine is very heavy so needs a couple of people to manoeuvre, plus there are lots of bolts and bars to remove when you unpack it. Had a fault when delivered but fixed by the Haier within a week so all fine now.

I paid extra for the old washing machine to be taken away and the new washing machine to be installed, the two delivery guys bogdan and Martin were brilliant and went the extra mile to help with disconnecting the old machine a delivering a great service 🙂
Having now used this machine for a couple of months, I can say that I love it! I can’t however give it full marks as the touch screen can be difficult to use. It took ages for me to be able to switch the damned thing on when I first used it, and even now it can take a few goes. I can’t imagine any visitor will be able to use it if we’re away. But otherwise, a brilliant machine.

You have to remember that the wash weight is different to the dry weight, so yes, if you fill the drum to the brim and still expect it to dry you’re going to be waiting a very long time, as well as damaging your machine.
As I learnt from my previous washer dryer – never select “wash and dry” because things never come out dry. I always select a wash cycle and program a dry to start straight after. The cycle is considerably quicker than my previous machine despite having a larger capacity. I can do a full wash and dry in 4 hours, my last machine took 5 and a half!
I love the touch screen, makes the machine feel so high tech! And the light inside the drum; of all the unnecessary features I never knew I wanted, this is it.
Yes, this really is as quiet as it claims! My last machine was so loud and violent that I caught it trying to run a marathon in my kitchen on several occasions and there was no way I could put a last minute load in at night ready for the morning without it waking people. I barely hear this washer dryer. I don’t need to close the kitchen door anymore just to hear what I’m thinking in a different room.
The settings in my opinion are very straight forward. I double checked the instructions just to be sure but everything was self explanatory.
I’ve had this less than a week and so far it has been a god send! And it comes with a 2 year warranty so even if something does go wrong Haier will cover it.
So far, I highly recommend this.

These machines are very fancy, modern and most importantly they are very slimline for the capacity! I could have potentially even fitted a bigger model as even those are more slimline than standard machines however i went with the 8kg to keep on the safe side as i live alone anyway.
The machine is very quiet, it looks great, dryer works well (but as with any dryer be careful what you dry) and has a good capacity. It is a premium to pay but its worth it. The LEDS inside are a cool touch.
One thing i will say is the touch control to turn it on can be slightly confusing at first, You need to very lightly put your finger over the power button to turn it on. For the first while i was so confused as to why i was turning it on while brushing against it whilst washing the dishes but had difficulty when i actually went to switch it on. Only a slight niggle and once you know you know.
Overall its a very nifty machine.

Compared to our other leading brand product we had, this is a breath of fresh air. So quiet and easy to use.
The pre programs on this product are fantastic, and the drying cycles actually dry. It’s very quiet compared to others, looks cool, and for the size of the drum, the loads you can get in there is impressive. Nice touch with the I-refresh program.

I purchased this as it was described as ultra-quiet and as I stated at the start of my review it does not disappoint. We needed a quiet washer/dryer as our dog barked at our old machine when it changed cycle and we have an open plan house following our recent re-model – This washer/dryer is quieter than our Kettle. I have only had a just over a week so I have not really had the opportunity to use many of the cycles yet but I can confirm that the quick 15 minute wash is excellent and the dryer dried our clothes at the first attempt, something my previous washer/dryer was not able to do.
In summary, I am happy with this washer dryer. There are plenty of washing options. The timings for the options are pre-set but you can easily change them. Another important factor is that the dryer is really good with three drying options. The auto weigh function and the fact that it can automatically adjust the timing just work so well. The machine is so very quiet! It also looks great. Absolutely no negatives, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The best washer/dryer I have ever owned!

I’m loving how energy efficient this is, it makes me want to use it over and over again and it doesn’t make me feel guilty using the dryer over putting the washing out!
The large capacity of 12kg is amazing, I can fit so much in the drum it saves me having to do as many washes a week plus it’s perfect for duvets and larger items too.
There are lots of settings so it’s great for many materials and on a couple of them you can manually change the spins, rinses, temperatures etc. There are 3 different drying options which I’m still playing around with-so far i’m enjoying the options and seeing the different results.
The machine is so quiet, it’s a godsend! My washing machine was quite noisy but I often don’t even know this is really on because it is just a soft background noise.
It looks modern and the lights are actually one of my favourite features as is the steam function, I’m looking forward to testing that out on stains! The LED lights are so snazzy and the light inside the drum makes loading and unloading so much easier, especially when I have to find something to take it out etc.
I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, not just large households. Just remember to take the transportations bolts out of the back before using it like I didn’t!!!!

Having two young children I have alot of laundry, I also only have a small amount of space in my house and was unable to have a separate dryer. I would use my washing machine several times a day which in the winter months or rainy days is hard to get the clothes dry.
Now, each load I do half can go in the dryer which doesn’t take long and the other on the radiator. This cuts my laundry time down by almost half, keeping the dirty basket under control.
It is extremely quiet on both wash and dry. Quick and easy to use. Child lock on the door and on the controls.
Plus, the light on the inside of the drum entertains the little one
Overall amazing!!!
