The chair was delivered quickly, and assembly was easy. The cushion is thin and the chair is a touch short, but it is pleasant and not unduly hefty. After a while, even small motions would cause me to hear squeaky noises. Due to a defective chassis (a metal component under the seat), I contacted customer care, and they offered to replace the chair.
Overall it’s a good home-office chair. I’ve been using mine for around 3 years for work and pc gaming, and have found it to be generally quite comfy.
Recently I have noticed that the seat foam has started to degrade, and I can feel the hard base/bolts holding it all together through the seat when I sit on it. It’s especially noticeable when comparing the foam where I actually sit to the gap between my legs. I think that’s acceptable after 3 years of near daily prolonged use.
Hopefully a new cushion will help fix that, because the rest of the chair is holding up really well. Previous office chairs have broken at the hinge, or lost bolts in the arms by this point. I just wish it were easier to fix/replace worn parts.
Edit: Recently, the metal plate holding the tension spring bolt in place has torn apart, firing the bolt at the floor with enough force to mushroom out the head of the bolt and crumple the plastic grip. Seat is otherwise still together, but has nothing stopping it from tilting backwards now. Looking at the bolt, there’s no way that was expected to hold up. The metal is far too thin, and with no washers etc to help spread the load under tension. Accident waiting to happen, and I’m glad my feet were out of the way else it probably would have broken bones with how strong the spring is.
I bought this chair over 3 months ago and it still is doing the job, I can happily sit on it for a full days work and get adequate support. The flip up armrests are a nice feature for storage and when I play guitar. The rock mechanism has become a little creaky, however I had a rocker chair before which did the same so I guess it was to be expected.
If this is just for the home office and you are smaller than 6ft then I’d say this is probably fine.
i bought this as a birthday present for my son and he is very pleased with it.
Excellent quality and comfort when spending a lot of hours working or studying. It is exactly what I expected.
Formschner Brostuhl. Leicht zusammenzubauen. Anbauteile (Armsttzen), musste ich teilweise etwas entgraten. Bin zufrieden.
I bought this mostly because of the reviews talking about it being good for short people like me (5’1″), and I’m pleased with it, I can sit in it properly with my feet on the floor and my back against the backrest without awkwardness. It only adjusts up and down but I haven’t needed any more than that.
I really like the fold-up arms which mean it can easily slide under a desk to free up space in the room unlike a lot of the big bulky chairs. The mesh back is good to allow airflow. I found it easy to put together.
I like the springy tilting machanism, but it’s been a bit unreliable – early on it didn’t tilt much but then after a few months something must have pinged into/out of place and suddenly it tilts more which I prefer. The mechanism to stop the tilting entirely is a bit basic – just a metal rod that slides in to lock the chair in place (seems like it must be a lot of pressure on that little rod!) or out to allow the chair to rock. Every once in a while it engages/disengages by itself.
I’ve been working from home full time, and overall I’ve been pleased with this chair.
Plastiche decisamente buone, comoda.
I really love this chair. I have back issues so need comfort and support. Prior to this I have always bought executive chairs and needed cushions to help me sit reasonably correctly. I don’t need them with this chair. It is wide, so I can move easily and it has excellent back support. One thing, when I altered it so my feet could be flat on the floor I found I had aching butt muscles after an hour. By raising it so I just touch the floor I sit much more comfortably.
Easy to assemble, easy instructions took me about 15 mins, can see what previous reviews mean about the seat. It is very soft and I would have preferred a thicker more firm cushion, however it is a good looking solid chair.

I ordered this chair nearly a year ago. I saw some of the reviews weren’t great but decided to take a chance anyway, and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s really quite a good chair! It’s comfortable, adjustable, easy on the butt and back, rolls and slides well, and just generally is a super good chair for the home office. We use it frequently and it has held up well – can’t fault it at all in any way.
Great chair, very comfortable & easy to assemble – easy to follow tutorials found on youtube. One issue is the chair does tend to squeak when leaning back, but this could just be down to my assembling skills?

A nice looking chair that is comfortable. Reasonable value for money so generally a good buy!
Not bad so far, pretty comfortable for a budget chair. Assembly was very easy using the tool provided.
I use this chair as my main home office chair, but it’s also where I play musical instruments, and so it’s important that the arms go up out of the way when I am playing the guitar, or other stringed instruments or my keyboard. The rocking function is also good.

I bought this specifically because of being able to lift the arms up so that I can play guitar when I am not doing my ‘office’ job and record some music as I switch from office workstation to different role at the same desk as ‘musician/music producer (hobbyist/dreamer) This all works fine. Also the rocking feature is a bonus for those interminable zoom meetings to get a bit of blood flow for an old fogey like me.
It did creek a bit to begin with but a squirt of WD 40 turned it back to silent running. I don’t know how long its going to last but the first couple of months has been fine.
This chair is quite a good chair, it’s comfortable and it’s definitely got room to breath on it, the only issue is the arm rests are very low down, making a man like me unable to utilize them to their full potentual.
A good quality and comfy chair, so I’d recommend it to my smaller friends/family.
I am 5″7 and for me the chair is a little too low for my legs and it does not fully support my back. In hindsight I should have sent it back but it’s only a couple of months later that I noticed the niggles.
Thought it would break within a week yet had it for a month and still fine. Cushion not flat as a pancake as other reviews have stated. Comfortable with 8 hours of use everyday. Would not recommend to people over 5ft 10
Comfortable and supportive, easily stored under a desk with the arms being movable, ideal for small spaces.
Bought this chair about a year ago to work from home during pandemic, I have it at the highest seating position however over the past month it has started to slowly start to lower itself where multiple times a day I have to reset it.
This arrived well-packaged, on time and as described. Once assembled, it has so far proved to be robust yet light, and confortable. The lifting arms are a nice bonus, as most chairs have fixed ones.
The only minor gripe (which does not detract from the overall ratings) relates to the assembly. I recommend that (despite what the istructions suggest) is that the arms are loose-fitted to the seat, with the bolts not tightened until the back has been fitted to the arms. There is a little room for adustment between the arms and the seat, which can mean that the arms do not fit snugly against the back. My recommendation would be:
1. Fit the arms to the seat as per the instructions, but do not tighten trhe bolts fully.
2. Fit the back to the arms, inserting each of the bolts to the back, not tightening them until the joints are even.
3. Tighten the bolts between the arms and the back in turn.
4. Tighten the bolts fixing the arms to the base.
AS I say, not a problem with the quality of the chair, just the instructions that need tweaking.

When I sat on this chair for the first time, I felt like this is the worst chair in the world. I was about to send it back but when I played my guitar, damn this chair is comfy. just to play guitar I decided to keep it. I have used this chair since over three months and I could not tell if this chair is comfortable or not, but what I can tell is I find my office chairs uncomfortable comparing to this one.
Easy to assemble but once assembled I noticed a slight tilt on the main seat which I thought would go away but it’s still there and there’s no way of taking it apart to re- assemble it. So the chair would be perfect if it wasn’t for the tilts not good for posture.
Got this in Oct 2019 it’s 8th May 2021 for the price (99) if you’re using the chair for short periods and you’re light it’s probably Okay.
I’m 6ft and 100kgs and have been using it for on average 3 hours a day during this time the gas failed. I reported this and to their credit they replaced this for free but now the cushion where your weight goes is not just flat it’s completely gone like you’re touching the base.
Needless to say I have ordered a new better chair now.
Would I recommend this? Casual gamer, kids room yes. Working from home, or playing for longer periods no.
That said you get what you pay for I have a m57 sihoo on way twice the price though.

I bought this as my desk chair for working from home. It is a nice chair, light enough, looks nice, not too chunky, perfect for my home office.
The cover of the seat pad was a little twisted, or maybe even the internal pad, but it makes no difference to the seating comfort.
The chair was easy to assemble, but a little fiddly with the back. We found it easier to attach the armrests to the seat first and then sliding the back in and fix it.
Please note: In accordance with HSE recommendations the backrest should adjust sufficiently in height and depth to allow the user to individual gain support? Unfortunately this is not possible as the armrests are permanently fixed to the seat and the back. This means that the armrest cannot be adjusted in to the required individual height, nor can the backrest be adjusted sufficiently in height and depth to allow the user to gain the individual support needed in accordance with their height and weight. The backrest can be set strait or tilt backwards if you lean against it.
Bear the height of armrests also in mind for your desk height.
I personally find the chair very comfortable to sit on several hours a day. I am 170 cm/5’7″ tall and I get sufficient support in my lower back and for my arms. People taller than me may find that the armrests are too low and the backrest not high and/or deep enough for sufficient support.
I’ve had this chair for quite a few months now that I’m working from home full time. At first it was very comfortable but as the months have passed the seat cushion has flattened and now I can feel the board under the cushioning. I am considering getting a cushion or replacing the chair because I can’t sit on it for long periods any more. I am 87kgs.
I am 5ft 9″ and this felt too low for me. Returned. Felt like it was meant for a child. Specifics for several chairs from this company hard to distinguish. When you click on alternative colour it is not the same model but a different chair that looks similar.
Utter junk. Used for a few months and the cushion is now flat as a pancake, basically just sitting on wood now. I only weigh 12 stone too. The ‘mesh support’ for the back has become loose and sagged, no support there too. Total garbage. Pay a little more to a reputable dealer.
Bought this after home working for almost a year sitting on an old kitchen chair with a cushion. I chose this because it’s compact and white so it won’t stand out too much in corner of the living room where I work. Assembly was easy, took about 20 mins. I’ve only been using the chair for a couple of days but so far it feels comfortable, no more numb bum! The height adjust works well and I like the slight rocking mechanism. The chair moves very easily on the carpet but I think i will end up with track marks so I may buy a mat to go underneath it. I’ve read other comments about the cushioning failing after a few months but I’m pretty lightweight so I don’t think it will be an issue.
This was so easy to put together – I was expecting it to be much more difficult, but within half an hour I was able to put it together by myself, and it was ready to sit in. It’s very comfortable – I use it all day every day, and the back support is firm and comfortable, as is the cushioned seat. I usually put the arms up, out of the way, but I use them occassionally and they’re fine and just at the right height and position. The seat is adjustable up-and-down, and very comfortable. The wheels are hard plastic, and haven’t left any marks or scuffs on my flooring. The chair is very sturdy and well-made, and I’d really recommend it.
I’m fairly impressed with this chair. My one complaint would be that the seat cushion isn’t quite as padded as I’d like, you do “bottom out” on it fairly easily,
I think I was expecting a little more, purely because of the thousands and thousands of positive reviews, but for the price it’s definitely better than my last chair! But if you want something that’s going to be super comfortable for an entire working day, you might want to go a little more up-market.
Nice chair when finally assembled.
Followed the instructions, perhaps the manufacturer wrote these in isolation from the actual assembly trials as if you attach the arms to the seat first then try and attach a back, there are misalignments and tensions. No perfect visible way to attach arms to the seat, there is room for error there, angle is critical though. Removed the arms several times to get that perfect alignment but no success. Ended up attaching arms to the back first then the whole piece to the seat. Was pleased with the chair when it came together.
A smart looking chair, with decent, but not amazing support. The tilt feature is good, with decent tension available. The seat itself is of average comfort, maybe slightly above average. It creaks quite loudly, and I find when leaning back it tilts very slightly to one side which is odd. Only a tiny amount, but you’ll notice it if you sit every day as I do in this chair. I’d probably recommend as a good chair at this price point. It’s not going to solve all of your chair problems though, you’d probably have to spend more.
It is not my first choice chair but fit on all my criteria . The seat is wide, the cushion is bit hard but comfortable enough for few hours . It is not the most straightforward assembly chair. Overall is fine but the plastic look cheap. For that I think the price is a bit too expensive.
Chair looks good & the foldable arms with narrow width means it fits well under my desk, which is the reason I bought it as I have a small study. Didn’t initially feel that comfortable compared to my old chair, but have got used to it very quickly & no longer an issue. The biggest problem was putting it together. One of the screws just would not pull the two pieces of plastic together & despite over an hour of unscrewing/re-screwing various screws to make adjustments, still have a small gap between two of the pieces of plastic. Doesn’t seem to affect the function or strength of the chair & no longer notice the gap, but rather annoying & frustrating at the beginning.
A great office chair, great price, well made, easy to assemble and reasonably comfortable. However…I use this chair everyday to work from home as a Graphic Designer and after just over a week the foam in the seat had pretty moulded to the contours of my derrire leaving me virtually sitting the wooden base… Maybe more suited to occasional use or to limited amounts of time but if your going to be in this seat for long periods you my well need a decent cushion!
Working from home on wooden dining chair had given me back pain. This chair offers good lower back support and the mesh back means it doesn’t get over-hot even through a high-temp summer. It’s sturdy with some back/forth movement to make sure the chair has ‘give’. I found the seat a little hard for my coccyx when sitting for a long time; but a coccyx cushion solved the problem. Only minus is that the seat height is fixed.
Overall it’s a pretty good office chair. In terms of support, it certainly supports my back, although you won’t get quite as much support as you would with, say, a Hermann Miller, but it’s much cheaper than one of those. It could do with having more height adjustment (upwards). I’m not very tall, but would prefer to sit higher relative to my perfectly normal height desk, with the arms level with the desk.
Assembly was ok, slightly fiddly on your own but not difficult.
Aside from these things, it’s comfortable and good value for money.
I spent some time reviewing the chairs and there were some helpful reviews, even videos, although a few different opinions. The chair is very comfortable, well made with quality materials but the only slight criticism I have is the small rocking the chair has when in the upright, locked position. This is only very small but may frustrate some people for me worth having the chair. I tightened the large black plastic nut at the base of the chair seat and this does improve it. The comfort and quality makes this worth having for office/work form home.
I want to start off by saying I don’t have any complaints about the chair itself. Personally I think it looks great, offers great support for my back (I’ve had a serious injury in the past so my back isn’t in a stellar condition) and for me is quite comfortable. It doesn’t have true lumbar support but the mesh is very well shaped and is very comfortable if you already have good posture.
I feel like this chair will be viewed differently for other people however. I’m 5’10” and this chair is perfectly fine for me however I do feel that if you’re 6’0+ then it might be a different set of circumstances. The build quality is decent for the price and the cushion is firmer than I expected. I’m not saying it’s uncomfortable, but I am hoping that after a couple weeks I’ll get more used to it. If you prefer more of a memory foam feel then I wouldn’t recommend this chair.
The only criticism I have regarding the chair is the instructions. I found them easy to follow however due to the lack of clear dialogue some may have difficulty with the 7 photographed steps provided.
Overall if you’re looking for a chair that stands out or lends itself well to the right environment then I would recommend it. If you’re a bit taller than myself then I would suggest further research.
I wanted a new spare chair for my home office and as it wasn’t going to be used very often I decided to take a chance on this one being as good in reality as it looked, in the pictures on the site. It wasn’t, it was even better! As for comfort, if I tell you that this is the chair I use all the time perhaps you will you take that as a very good recommendation. I’m the sort of ‘do it yourself’ person that can’t hit a nail in straight, so you can perhaps imagine that I wasn’t looking forward to assembling it. As it turned out I barely used the instructions, it was so easy to put together and that is the reason I only rated ‘Support’ on only four stars out of five, as I didn’t need more support so I cam only rate it on what arrived in the same box. I believe that I would have had to spend many times the price of this one to get one better.
Okay, I’ve owned this chair for a few months now and here’s my review:
Pros
– Looks good and sports a pleasing design
– Easy to assemble
– Fairly compact with folding arms (fits under a desk with ease)
– Sensible price
– Is faily robust (I havn’t had any damage incurred or structure issues with months of heavy use…and I’m known to destroy chairs)
– Personally saved me when I had to start working from home because of COVID
Cons
– The seat padding…the is the Achilles heel…. the padding after 3-7 days of use becomes flat as a pancake and will destory the bones in your bum (i’m only 8 stone). If you’re buying this chair then I would definately buy a foam seat pad to accompany the chair. Heed my warning! I did this and it’s been fine ever since.
First thing to say is that I have no connection nor interest in this seller and product and this review is entered purely as an independent purchaser.
With my 5 year old and previously comfortable home but office work chair needing changing I decided to look at all options and as I normally do when buying ‘major’ items, look at reviews. I will often dismiss very critical reviews if they do not seem ‘right’ thinking possibly they were entered by a competitor.
So I looked at reviewed all options and reviews by those that had previously purchased this product which I had narrowed down to being my likely ‘first choice’. Reviews were good, conforming being comfortable, easy to assemble etc., and so I decided to buy and try!!
Brilliant…..arrived via Amazon quickly, assembled easily [ suggest starting with the bottom i.e. castors to legs etc., any nuts needed are there with one tool needed [supplied] to do] . Assembled in 15 minutes and I am not brill with something new [second time yes but not first]. Sat on it, my wife then sat on it both and both immediately thinking so comfortable, great on the back [so important] with its great design. We sat on it and with the merest touch on the foot it turned around full circle again and again which merely confirmed brilliant design and manufacturing. It tilts back easily to keep variations of use. Just so comfortable, easy to use and work with and was great for me size wise.
I have not tried it yet in summer and hot weather as just purchased here in England in winter, however hopefully its back allowing air access will be nice when using when weather is hot.
I use my office chair as this chair will do,, everyday and so obviously I can not say how long the chair will last, however certainly the quality of the items implies that the chair will last a long time and its comfort will certainly be a major plus.
All I can say is that personally I really recommend this product, however the choice is yours, my review is entirely independent
Just as a footnote shortly after purchasing my computers maintenance guy came round, sat on it, he said ‘oh new chair’…yes I said and….. do you know what he said he had just that morning purchased another chair, wished he had not as my purchase was so good and he was looking at returning his purchase and buy this chair!!
Anyway all comments are true and independent, however the choice is yours?
Arrived super quick, easy to assemble, looks ok. Meets the brief with mesh back and flip-up arms.
Disappointing that the max seat height is a bit low and the seat padding isn’t quite firm enough for a large bloke. Definitely unsuitable if you are x-large!
And for the money, would be a nice touch if there was some padding on the arms.
I bought this chair because i thought it had a high back, I suppose I should have read the description, but apart from that it is a light chair and easy to move. The back though low is very comfortable, I just wish there is an adaptation to hold the neck. I’m disabled and have serious problems with my spine. If the seller can point me to somewhere where I can get an adaptation that with fit this chair, i will be very grateful. Thanks
At first I was over the moon because it seemed really comfortable to be in a normal work chair again. Sadly the seat pad does not offer 8 hrs of comfort as it claims. My bum is uncomfortable from 30 mins. Such a shame because the rest of it is fine. I think I’ll buy an extra seat pad.
Back support is good for my husband, but I still need additional support, I think it’s because I’m only 5ft. I have this problem with most chairs so I wouldn’t mark it down for that.
Appearance wise, I think it looks good, and glad it’s not an unsightly dark colour so it looks good in the room too.
Easy to assemble but would have been even better if I had ignored the order of assembly .
The shaping of the back support is not right for me but with the addition of a seat pad out is more comfortable.
I cannot get the lift to work But really couldn’t face repacking to send back or taking it apart.
Update 4 months on. With lockdown 2 I have been spending more time sitting on the chair than originally envisaged and sadly the design of the seat back is not right for me..If it reclined a little that would help. A lesson learned…. always sit in a chair before buying it.
Fairly easy to assemble using the manual, doesn’t require too many parts or fussing about. Can be done without expert assembly, I built it with my younger brother quite easily, an hour tops. Feels very comfortable and sturdy. A little bit stiff when rocking, it doesn’t rock as easily and smoothly as it looks in the video but is good enough. My only complaint is that I got the white chair and found a couple of marks on it, rust coloured. I wiped it down but it didn’t go away. The rest of the chair was in good condition. The plastic on the arms also could’ve been smoother or sanded down.
I purchased this to work from home as I have a fully based desk job and need a proper seating position to not aggravate my nerve related pain.
Pros:
– Easy to put together
– Back is supportive
– Arms can be pulled up and the wheels are small enough to store the chair under the desk in full.
-Arms support elbows whilst typing on keyboard.
Cons:
– Some of the stated measurements at time of purchase (September 2020) were wrong. The height range (measuring to the top of the seat cushion) is actually 39.5cm to 50cm, which made it too short for my desk height of 68cm (needing the full 54 cm stated). The full extended height is 98 cm from top to bottom.
– The above caused issues with the arms digging into my elbows (as you angle them to adjust the height, not move up and down). So, if you need to adjust the arms to a higher point, this may effect you – but only if the chair os too short by DSE standards.
– Not highly sturdy with original gas stem (moving side to side I could feel the chair move ever so slightly). This improved with a replacement gas stem though.
Overall:
– If your desk is any higher than 60cm, purchase a different stem and install it when first building the chair (trust me, it’s an effort to remove the original stem one sat on). The one which worked for me is a 9″ Straight Gas Lift, with a 43cm – 57cm range to the top of the seat. This runs about 12.50 at the time of review.
– Will be perfect for shorter desks (I’d say 60cm height or less), where there is not everyday full time use of the chair. I can’t imagine it being suitable for a heavier (by means of muscle or height) person – but this is pretty standard with office chairs.
– Customer Service responded promptly and were very helpful.

I desperately needed an ‘office’ style chair as working from home on an ordinary chair was giving me lots of aches and pains. But, I didn’t want an ugly black chair in my home, and didn’t want to spend hundreds of pounds. This chair seemed to fit the bill and I’ve been so impressed with it. I’ve now had it for two weeks, and used it for 7-8 hours a day, four days a week. It’s comfortable, you can adjust the height (important so for good posture when typing, to avoid RSI), and it moves with your body, from side to side, and, if you want, rocks slightly (unless you lock it, which you can). Before using this chair I hadn’t realised how important it is for office chairs to be designed to ‘wobble’ rather be static.
The cushion is comfortable, although slightly less so after eight hours (but what do you expect for less than 100)? It might be less comfortable for someone heavier (I weigh 55kg / 8.5 stone).
The chair is really well designed, and so was the box it came in, the instruction leaflet and the labels attached to it. The only thing that let it down was that the text for the assembly instructions was written in terrible English, which might be why reviewers say it’s hard to assemble. I found it easy to assemble – but I enjoy that sort of thing.
I was looking to purchase a desk chair, to replace my old desk chair I had over 15 years. And I cannot afford anything really expensive and don’t spend too much time at my desk. I make music as a hobby .
This chair is great for the price, nylon construction so fairly lightweight, the mesh back is great , and will keep my back cool, the seat cushion is decent enough.
Only put this together today,so time will tell on the comfort front. The rocking action is a nice touch, you have a tension adjuster for that too.
Easy to put together, max 20 mins I guess, the chair was well packed ,when I got it,yesterday
Overall very happy
My firm said I could spend a 100 on a chair, so after much searching I found this (had to chip in the extra tenner) – I previously had various office chairs at home, all too heavy and cumbersome. This is nice and light and maneuverable, not a lot of adjustments, but standard for the price point. The arms lifting is a nice feature so you can tuck under a desk. Pretty good padding on the seat and nice lumbar support if you sit properly, very happy, and the seller emailed me a VAT receipt withing 20 minutes of requesting it, thanks guys 🙂
I’ve been using a plastic Ikea dining chair while I’ve been working from home and been having constant backaches. I needed a compact and supportive chair to use and came across this one. I have to admit I forgot what sitting in a proper chair felt like, straight away I could feel it supporting my back and I’m so glad I bought this one. The chair was easy to assemble, I did it myself in 20mins (pay attention to the stickers so you know where the front/back/left/right is). The arm rests lift up which makes it easy to tuck under the desk when not in use.
My only slight cons are that I’m 5ft1 and I think the arm rests are a bit too low. And the chair squeaks a bit when I use the tilt.
All around great chair, would recommend.
This chair replaces a wooden dining chair that I used for years, which was not at all suitable for sitting on for hours every day and was digging in to the backs of my legs. I wasn’t sure about buying an office chair at this medium-to-low price, because the one I used to use at work was a super-expensive Herman Miller ergonomic chair and I was worried that this would have set my expectations too high. The Hbada office chair turns out to be very comfortable, easy to adjust, and has just the right amount of “give” to make sitting down comfortable. It doesn’t press into the backs of my legs just above the knee, like the old wooden chair did and as a result, I no longer get my knee locking-out after sitting for a while, which is a huge relief. Wish I had bought one of these sooner.
I regularly use it for 3 hours at a time, using the computer or drawing, and there is no discomfort. I tend to sit quite upright and don’t lean back on the backrest, so can’t really comment on the comfort of that.
It was actually easy to assemble, although I was a bit mystified by the fact that “Bolts B” and “Bolts C” came in the same compartment (or was it a bag?) and I couldn’t see any difference between them, either in the assembly drawings or in the actual bolts. It seems that I did sort them out OK, though, and everything went together snugly. It would be a great idea to put Bolts B and Bolts C into separate bags/compartments. One of the castors took a firm push to push on, which was fine. The others slipped on easily.
I just got rid of a behemoth of an office chair when I received and constructed this chair, and the space it creates is appreciated. It’s not so hard to construct, but I would say to the manufacturers – bigger manual, with clear pictures, which is why I give it 4 stars.
Otherwise it’s a good casual chair, perhaps office perhaps gaming.
Also as I play guitar, the adjustable armrests are very handy.
Good buy . Steredy , robust , pratical with the arm rest being able to be lifted if desire. Perfect size, not big at all . A shame there is not adjustment for the backrest . Still wondering why at times it makes a clicking noise for not apparent reason , only a slight movement can triger the small noise . Not sure if is from how it was ansemble . Not major issue , just a curiosity ….. and hoping it will not break just after I submmit this review .
I spent some time reviewing desk chairs before deciding on this one. I was looking for good, comfortable back support. Being 5′ 7″ I find that for many desk chairs I need to sit forward in the seat in order that I can properly bend at the knees. This unfortunately means that my back is not flush against the back of the chair so I lose out on having full back support. So when some of the male reviewers described the chair as maybe slightly too small for them it was the decisive factor in my choosing this chair. And I have not been disappointed. The chair is a perfect fit for me and the back support is great. I would only criticize the fact that the chair cannot lock at an incline, only upright, and possibly it is slightly overpriced at over 100. But I could have potentially spent a lot more and been disappointed.
I’ve been working from home during the corona virus pandemic. I’m sat at the computer all day and have been getting neck and back pain – I had been using a dining room chair. So I took the plunge and bought this.
My neck and back pain has gone.
This chair is very comfortable and gives good support.
So why the 4 stars not 5? Well one of the screws for the arm rest would not screw in, so it is screwed on with 2 rather than 3 screws. Having said that, even with the two screws, it is very stable and I don’t think it will affect it at all.
Overall I would recommend this for a well priced, comfortable chair. Not bad looking either in what has become my office……
Came within one day, all parts needed to assemble were there, takes about 20 mins to put together, the arms are heavy so when attaching if on your own, rest the base on the box chair came in. Not overly large, it looks tiny next to my last chair, but don’t let that put you off, it is aimed more at the home office.
All in all a nice chair, good price, solidly built, feels secure when sat on and I am 82 kilos and it copes with that admirably. Time will tell on durability, personally for me the seat base could be an inch longer, but thats just being very fussy. If you want a comfortable chair for extended time at your computer this fits the bill.
I would recommend this chair.
I’m not really tall, about 5’7 and the frame for the back digs right into my back just below my shoulder blades if I lean back in the chair.
Otherwise – the cushion has great padding (perfect if you’ll be stuck at your desk all day), it’s easy to build and was delivered quickly without any problems.
I’m obviously just the wrong size for this chair, so sadly returning it for a refund
During the pandemic, alot of us useless office workers have had to adjust and work from home. That being said, I don’t have a massive budget to spend on what is essentially my ass coffin eight hours a day, but just over a hundred pounds seems somewhat fair.
I’m rubbish at assembling anything unless it’s Lego, but I managed to put this together in around twenty minutes, so you’ll get a good looking chair and a pretty decent ego boost as a result of it.
The chair itself is very comfortable. The pillow is really padded out and has a memory foam quality to it. The back of the chair is also great as it supports my lower back, which I’ve found office chairs seem to ignore in general. Video editing and general working will now be somewhat alright, my soul is still steadily being destroyed, but atleast I have a comfy chair.
Would buy again.
I love this chair! I have arthritic hands but it took a relative 10 minutes to assemble while following the instructions as I read them out. Tick One.
Ticks Two, Three, etc etc come from its comfort and supportiveness. The armrests are easy to fold up (useful for parking the chair under a desk rather than next to it) and comfortable to lean on when down. The backrest height is perfect, high enough to support the whole back should I want to lean against it but not interfering with the neck in any way. The shaped backrest is also very comfortable.
The chair is easy to roll around on when seated, even on carpet, and very light compared to all the office chairs I’ve had in the past. The only small criticism I can make is that for me the chair height/tilt lever is slightly hard to reach – much easier if it were 2-3 inches further forward – but the lever itself works well.
Overall, this comes highly recommended especially if it pops up on a Lighting Deal. But I’d pay full price to replace it if I had to 🙂
I’m 183cm (6ft) and 90kg, (not especially large) but my wife laughs when she sees me in this chair saying I’m wedged into it
This chair looks great but is a little narrow and the back is a little low for me. A bit of padding on the arms would be a nice touch as well. The feature of the arms raising up is a little pointless as it actually fits under my ikea desk anyway, and looks more…normal in doing it. Plus you could always lower the chair a little if you need to fit it under (the arms are thin and low profile so I can’t see it being a problem)
I’ll be sending this to my business office hotdesk and will get something bigger with head support. Probably another hbada as their stuff looks pretty slick and has a reasonable price.
The chair has been in my study room for one weeks now.it is absolutely perfect !it was very easy to assembly, took me about 15 minutes. It is not as big as it looks from the pictures, just the right size.the seat cushion is very well padded, feels really comfortable.I’m very pleased with the purchase, love the chair for its comfort and support making long studio sessions a pleasure
