Great little vacuum, unfortunately the charger has stopped charging after only 6 months and try as I have by contacting Amazon and the seller I cant get any sense from them about replacement although there is a 2 year guarantee. The seller directs me to a website but doesn’t give an address and then wants a video of a charger not charging eh!! I’m giving up and now have to buy a charger.
I wouldnt buy again because it cost 159 and now I cant use it unless I spend more money on a charger after only 6 months, the guarantee of 2 years isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
Best thing I ever bought. So handy and easy to use. Effortless. Extra battery is brilliant as doesn’t last too long. Always have one charged. Price was unbelievable compared to a similar dyson. Could not recommend enough.
Good suction, but make no mistake this is a toy.. Flimsy, fiddly, almost impossible to empty (we have made a hook from a skewer) tube blocks continually and the whole thing is quite pathetic. It is however light in weight. Look elsewhere. We have had it a few months now but for 225 we would like to return it.
I bought the ‘Pet’ model. We have four cats and a dog. The special head is excellent at hoovering up hair from pets bedding, carpets and from hard floors. Using the same head makes hoovering stair carpets easy. It takes a time to get used to emptying the collection drum regularly and making sure the filter is clean. The machine will stop if it needs emptying or the battery is low. It is so easy to use around the house and in bathrooms especially. I have a Henry Hoover for sturdier hoovering.

Very light and manoeuvrable. Was expecting to wall mount it, but it takes up so little space that we haven’t bothered. Suction is great too. We use it downstairs on our tiled and wood floors but also for doing the carpeted stairs. The ability to turn the brush on and off during use is also good, as is the fact that you don’t have to hold a trigger down to keep it switched on. Great vacuum for the price. Would definitely not go back to a dyson cordless after using this. Second battery is also very useful.

Not very good for upholstery until I bought, separately, a mini turbo nozzle. I would have been happy to pay a bit more for the cleaner and have this attachment included.
A good light weight cleaner, works well on carpet wooden floors, easily stored in the airing cupboard meaning I no longer have to lug the Sebo up and down stairs. My one niggle is that after every session I have to strip the filters etc to clean them, so I would recommend keeping an old tooth brush handy. The battery usage is not bad, one charge is enough to do stairs, landing, 3 bedrooms and the bathroom. Update another small niggle is small brush and a long haired wife and dog, so a small pair of scissors comes in handy.

Not really suitable for stairs but very good on carpets and hard floors mine had two batteries so could hoover the whole house in one go (4 beds) the storage container is a bit small and the emptying could be easier but overall a good little hoover.
Perfect love light easy to use .,brought to keep upstairs so small can hang up in airing cuboard no problem
Two batteries so one always charged up .
We have large dog three cats and picks up hair no problem .
Make sure keep clean and empty easy to do .
One complaint is the lead is too short having to keep unplugging in each room depending on size of your house .
Have a Henry Hoover had for 30 years now prefer this so much easier.
Its great for storage, hoovers right up to the skirting which I love! I have a parrot so this hoover is not great at picking up all the parrot food I.e dry sweetcorn! And larger bits of dry food! But other than that it’s really good
This was for my elderly brother. Nice and light, easy to use and he can see the dust collecting so he empties the canister more often! The brush gets full of dogs hair quite quickly, however it is an easy job to take out and clean. He only lives downstairs and has 3 rooms, mix of hard flooring and carpet. Ideal for him

Really lightweight product and easy to use once you get your head around which bit clips where. Reason for the reduced star was not all attachments fit to the hoover when stored and to hoover the entire house we have to charge both batteries as we use turbo alot.
I researched so many cordless vacuum cleaners before choosing this one I wanted to leave a review to hopefully help others. I was originally going to purchase the popular fish related vacuum brand but based on the fact they are heavy to use I chose this one. Very glad I did – I think it’s great for the price – suction is fine for a cordless and having two batteries means you have enough run time. Emptying the dust cylinder is fine if you use the little tool. It’s really lightweight to use and the pet tool is great for stairs. Not sure what you would use on stairs if you haven’t got the pet tool though. All in all a great purchase.

I wish I’d bought this years ago. I can’t see any use for my other two vacuum cleaners because this is so much better in so many ways. Just being able to start vacuuming without having to unwind leads and plug in is a huge bonus in itself! The suction’s excellent – the battery still has a charge after cleaning my home (2 large bedrooms, large kitchen mat plus 2 large sitting room rugs). And it cleans right up to the edges. I vacuumed my cellar staircase carpet using the handheld part and it did a lovely job. So convenient. The clips separating the different parts aren’t stiff (one of my vacuums hurts my hands because everything’s so stif). Being older doesn’t help! And, because everything unclips, cleaning the bristles is a breeze. A terrific buy.
Easy to use if you need to use a walking aid such as a stick or crutches as it is light weight and very easy to move around. Good suction, only needs to pass over the carpet or flooring once. Could even be used sat down and just move the chair location. Easy to empty and clean filters. Well able to hoover an average household on one battery charge. Battery is lightweight as well and easy to plug in and out of hoover.. no fiddley bits.
Excellent for everyday maintenance of the house. Having no cord it makes the whole experience easy and fast. It comes with two batteries but even one is enough to clean a spaceous 2-bedroom apartment. Only downside is that if you have long hair, the power brush for carpets needs to be detached and cleaned thoroughly every week or two. Overall very happy with this choice.
Being light weight and cordless means vacuuming takes half the time. Easy to use. Only downside is due to me having longhair. You have to clean the brush frequently to remove hair.
I really like this hoover. It’s a great price and very lightweight. The suction is really good on turbo, but just ok on normal mode. I much prefer this to the new model Shark I have.
Very handy. Easy to clean item as well. Works for 15-20mins on normal mode. Very cheap compared to Dyson.
Had for a few weeks now, took me a long time to decide which cordless vacuum to buy, this had everything I wanted, lightweight, easy to use, a switch at the top to switch from wooden floors to carpet, very easy to clean the actual Hoover. Right choice for me.
So handy – is now the main Hoover for carpets upstairs. Amazing how much dust it sucks up, so much so that it is blocked every time it’s used, makes you wonder what the previous hoover was up to.
Easy enough to empty and clean out, and the removable brush feature means you can easily remove the inevitable hair wrap.
All in all this was a good buy.

Upon searching for a new vacuum cleaner, I was a bit taken aback to discover some were selling for more than 600! Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for quality products, but 600 for a vacuum cleaner to pick up dust and hairs is having a laugh.
Having shopped around and done some research I managed to find this vacuum which is about 1/5th of the price and I have found can also pick up dust and hair quite adequately. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble and easily cleaned as well – which is I guess is important if it’s to keep working as efficiently as it has to date.
All in very happy with the product and price. I’m now thinking about what to spend the 480 saving on.
Very light weight and convenient. Easy storage and good suction on high power mode. The extra battery is helpful as this is not designed for long periods of use, but it’s fantastic for regular quick cleans and it’s lightweight but sturdy. The collection drum is quite small, but regular emptying and cleaning is pretty easy. Really pleased with this. Used to have a Henry hoover, and that was big, bulky and heavy. This doesn’t have the overall suction power of a Henry, but i found this hoover to actually be better on carpets because of the rotating brush. And you don’t have cables dragging around!

Great wee Hoover by Hoover . Lightweight & easy to use. Instant detatch of the brush head for corners & high spots. So much better than anything else we’ve had before. Also 3 times cheaper than the Dyson Pet cordless.
It’s great hover but battery…. if you have studio or one bedroom flat it’s should be fine if you do it quick. For large house/flat. Battery life is to short.
This is brilliant vacuum for my needs – I purchased as back-up cleaner in order to use between fuller house cleans and to vacuum the car. It doesn’t have the power of my heavy plug-in Dyson, but I didn’t expect it to – it’s perfect for what I need it for though. It’s also great for the stairs – no more lugging my heavy corded cleaner up and down or balancing it precariously on one of the stairs. An additional plus is that I can whip over the kitchen laminate floor quickly – much better than getting the dustpan and brush out. All in all, a great vacuum: lightweight; easy to manoeuvre under and around furniture; has plenty of tools and is very compact, which makes storage a doddle
This is my first cordless vacuum and I really like the freedom it gives. I like that it will stand upright and that was one of the reasons I purchased it. If I see any bits on my kitchen floor I just get my Hoover and Hoover them up, so easy. There were two batteries included, which is great. One to charge and one to use. It is not as sturdy looking as a Dyson and although the weight is supposed to be the same , the Hoover seems lighter. Emptying the dust container can be a bit fiddly unless you remove it from the body of the vacuum, which needs doing frequently because the filter needs cleaning.
Overall I am pleased and don’t regret my purchase.

As I am getting older I needed to say goodbye to my friend Henry and get something lighter and more convenient.
The charge time isn’t as quick as some but two batteries is useful as we have one in the device and once fully charged and rotate the two.
It sucks better than a football team who haven’t won a game all season and the turbo mode is powerful and does a good job in short bursts.
It does get blocked occasionally which is annoying as have to take several minutes to clear. This has happened when hoovering hair and very dusty areas.
I am not sure I would buy another one but for now it is okay.
My thoughts after having to return the first of 2 Hoovers:
1. I ordered Hoover number 1 from Amazon warehouse when it was discounted for a second time during the Prime event (102). It stated that the item was complete but would have a few scratches, which didn’t bother me. The item was free of scratches but when I switched it on, the motor squealed like a banshee. I spoke with Amazon and requested a replacement, which they were unable to provide, because it was bought from the warehouse. I promptly returned Hoover number 1.
2. I then set about ordering a replacement. I went for the same make and model, again from Amazon warehouse. This time it stated the item would have a missing manual and small scratches. None of this bothered me as the manual is available online and the scratches are only cosmetic. The item arrived as described but the pre motor filter was also missing. I had to purchase this separately (5). Added to this, the warning light for cleaning the filter is permanently on, though it doesn’t affect the Hoover’s performance.
3. Because the Prime event was over, the second discount wasn’t available for the second unit (25 extra to purchase, plus 5 for the filter). Amazon refused to honour the second discount , even though the return and second purchase was totally down to them pedalling out defective Hoovers.
4. I decided to keep the second Hoover, even though it has the annoying ‘clean filter’ light on all the time. This was bought for the times when all you need it a lightweight decent vacuum to clear up spills, etc. My main vacuum is a robotic floor device which is great for the daily clean up, but not so good for small awkward spaces and acidental spills.
5. I have bought numerous items from Amazon warehouse before and was always pleased. This is my first and last electrical item from the Warehouse. In future, electrical items will be bought brand new.

Wanted something light with good suction. This appliance is excellent.
This is an excellent vacuum cleaner, very light and easy to use. I bought it for my hard floors especially the conservatory as I have a white haired dog and there always seems to be hair on the floor but now it is much easier to keep clean. I highly recommend this cleaner.
Purchased this as an alternative to a larger corded vacuum. So far it has been good but I’ve noticed a few drawbacks.
Pro’s:
– Lightweight, I was surprised it came in a small flat box, more like a laptop box than for a vacuum cleaner! But kudos to Hoover for not wasting packaging as they managed to fit lots in
– The carpet setting utilises the led lights which is really useful, I turn it on even when using it on flat surfaces
– Quiet, well a lot quieter than a Dyson anyway
– No cables
– Good selection of tools
– Easy to store, it comes apart in sections which then fit together to be stowed in a cupboard or on the wall with the included wall attachment
– Two batteries included (which were pretty much fully charged upon receiving
– Charging time, around 6 hours
Con’s:
– The batteries don’t last as long as I’d have expected, infact in turbo mode you barely get any time our of them, better sticking with normal mode
– Suction, whilst on the whole it’s not bad, if you have some built in dirt you have to use turbo mode, it’s just not got the continuous super suction as a corded, larger vacuum, it’s not terrible though, adequate for general cleaning
– The waste recepticle/hopper, whatever you want to call it, it’s not big, infact it’s quite small and tricky to clean as it curves around inside so can’t get a utensil in to pull dirt ou

I wanted to revisit my review. The item really doesn’t work at all well after my purchase last October. I was initially impressed as it’s a cordless item. It’s got a small collection chamber that gets full quickly and gets blocked by pet hairs. The item is supposed to pull apart into smaller bits for various functions and this would help also to clear the blocked tubes unfortunately these have now ceased up completely. The vacuum has significantly reduced in its functioning rendering it useless. I can’t see the value of this item at all and it will rapidly deteriorate in its function and can’t cope with a 3 bedroomed home in the longer term.

Honestly we’ve tried for years to find a vacuum cleaner like this. I’m disabled and without seeming toon dramatic, it has given me a bit of dignity back. Even with spinal problems I can easily vacuum my house, furniture and corners wherE dust accumulates with absolute ease. It’s great for ‘catch and release’ of unwanted spiders and daddy long legs too! The battery lasts for so long and having a second battery makes it even better! I’d give it 10 stars if I could… oh and it is SO easy to clean! Best Buy of 2020 for sure.

I needed something light and manoeuvrable and it definitely is. Certainly has much more power on the turbo mode though as everyone says the battery doesn’t last as long as I’d ideally like though for daily quick pick ups, even on pet hair, it has been great so far. I’m not remotely bothered that the collection box is fiddly – small price to pay for having something so light and easy.
Living in a 3 storey Town house with two flights of stairs, two landings and a hall vacuuming with our previous Henriette was a nightmare! The Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is a a purchase I wish I had made years ago. Easy to assemble, lightweight, a delight to use with excellent suction, a superb array of configurations to deal with every type of surface (carpet brush and light is very helpful) and situation. The battery power is adequate for a whole house clean, and we put it straight back into the wall fixing and charge again when finished. The components are simple to remove for filter and canister emptying and cleaning. On the whole if you need a versatile cleaner at an affordable price that delivers on performance the Hoover H-FREE 500 3in1 is for you.
Great wee hoover! Really handy for doing stairs. Not so great on vinyl or hardwood floors (just moves the stuff from on place to another unless you sit the head unit directly on top of crumbs etc.) Really easy to assemble. Battery life isn’t the best(especially in turbo mode) you’ll get had an hour to 40mins of constant standard power vacuuming. Easy to clean and can be stored in very little space. Happy with my purchase
Great wee hoover! Really handy for doing stairs. Not so great on vinyl or hardwood floors (just moves the stuff from on place to another unless you sit the head unit directly on top of crumbs etc.) Really easy to assemble. Fantastic hoover!
Carpet regularly cleaned with robovac but this picked up so much dirt I was amazed.
Hoovered whole house one charge, including skirting boards and dust webs on the walls/ceiling. Didn’t need turbo.
Pet accessory really good for stairs.
Like that it’s compact to store. Still can’t believe how powerful this thing is.
The weight is fine for hoovering floor but above head height it does make the wrists ache a bit. Emptying is a bit fiddly.
Bought second battery just in case although doubt it’ll be needed.
Overall a decent little hoover and very impressed.
Lovely design, fills ups quickly but easy to empty. Lovely tools and I prefer it to our Dyson. But go cost it’s a good replacement.
We find this a competent cordless vacuum cleaner, light and easy to use, some components are a bit light and plasticky would have like a bit bit more robust. Battery charging is OK but a little long.
I am very glad I got this vacuum cleaner. I got H-FREE 500 Energy version and I was impressed on how well it worked. At only 33 I suffer from sciatica and manoeuvring the traditional vacuums was getting difficult and painful. I researched a little and found this to be a good compromise between all the features I wanted vs the price I was able to afford. The machine itself is feels expensive and sturdy, all the extras work well and my version came with two batteries that do last as long as the description says they do (in the normal mode). It is super easy to manoeuvre it and the best part is that it lays flat, allowing you to clean under the bed! Like other have said, I too was surprised about how much the little LEDs are useful while your cleaning. I could only find 2 downsides (one of them is a minor observation). 1- The power button is too near the handle, causing you to sometimes turn it off by mistake, it doesn’t happen that often but it would be good to fix this on a later model. 2- because the way the cylindrical brush is made to turn on itself during carpet mode, a lot of strings and hairs will get stuck, you will have to manually cut them out. It is not a major inconvenience, but I know some brands have a little blade you activate by pressing a little pedal and up go the hairs and strings. As a suggestion, it would be nice if the unit came with a place where I could keep the smaller extras.

Wanted a cordless powerful vacuum to replace my heavy corded one. Meets some of the criteria but not all.
Likes: lightweight, manoeuvrability, good for picking up animal hairs from rugs etc., very necessary with 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Dislikes: Needs emptying very, very frequently and have to manually ease the contents out. Hoover should consider a slightly larger container to make this less messy.
Will it replace my corded vacuum? No, but it has a good place in my cleaning cupboard for a quick and lightweight clean.

Broke bone in upper main arm so had to go for a very light cleaner. Shopped around and looked at reviews and so pleased that I picked this one. Probably not suitable for a large home with children and animals but for me with arm not working to full capacity and also being elderly this is brilliant!!!
Vacuum just arrived. I tried it out with what power was left in the battery. Really easy to use the machine and very easy to assemble. It seemed to pick up my dog’s short hairs very easily. Hopefully, this will be the cleaner for me. I have tried several and this is the best so far.
The two batteries supply more than enough power and are easily charged. I have a three bedroom house and 2 flights of stairs and can clean whole house twice on one charge. It’s very lightweight and can be stored easily when reduced to 69cms tall thanks to clever design The rubbish storage unit can be easily emptied and cleaned. It can also stand alone when not in use, a real plus Great value for money. Thoroughly recommended
I hate vacuuming so much, I wanted to try anything that would make me more likely to clean up and this is it! No need to unravel cord and plug in various outlets in order to reach distant corners, or push my lumbering upright around the place, this is lightweight and very easy to use, and I’ve found myself using it most days which is not something I’ve experienced before! Suction isn’t as strong as a regular upright, unfortunately, but great to use regularly to keep on top. It’s freestanding which is a bonus, though I chose to wall-mount mine. I had already noted in the previous reviews that other people had found emptying the dirt container quite frustrating, so I never really tried to empty it the way you’re supposed to, by opening the container bottom, and always remove the container from the unit, and empty it from the larger top side instead. The only downside I’ve found is the wall-mounting hook often hooks on to my cardigan/clothes on the backstroke which can be annoying, and there is nowhere to store the additional tools on the actual unit. I swap between carpet sweeper and crevice tool often, so I have to remember to carry the crevice tool around with me, but it would be nice to have it clipped on to the carpet rod for easy use. Overall I’m very pleased with this little machine!
I’ve been using this for the past month and I would recommend this product if you live in a small place. It has good suction power, it can get increased with the power button but the battery doesn’t last that long if you do so. It is easy to move around, gets in small corners easily, it’s very light and fun to use! My only downside is the battery, it doesn’t last that long, but it covers my 2 bedroom flat with one charge (unless you go on full power all the way). It also has great tools to remove dust from frames/curtains/high ceilings.
Highly recommended!
I got in a pickle ordering this but it was soon rectified by Amazon, I was quite hesitant about ordering a stick hoover as I felt that (a) it would be too heavy for me to use and (b) it would’nt have enough suction. I was wrong, this is just perfect for me, it IS very light and the suction is good enough for a 2 person no pet couple, it runs for at least 29 mins, long enough for me to hoover our 2 bedroom bungalow, and with a couple of extra buttons I can use the booster and also the carpet button How I wish I had purchased this earlier.

Got to be one of the best hoovers i have used, light weight, easy to manoeuvre , picks up well. one thing i always hated with the cordless cleaners was emptying as having dogs they always get full very quick and have to get something to scrape out as hairs get stuck . with this model being a smaller tank i have to empty more often . BUT when last used i discovered that if you unscrew the tank / tube waste ect . take out filter which just pulls out and filter , then empty, very easy and takes seconds. use this method all the time now. really happy with this hoover. highly recommend.

There’s a lot to like about this Hoover, it’s incredibly lightweight and flexible making all sorts of what used to be difficult jobs much easier, especially the stairs and high up shelves etc., not to mention it’s ability to slide right under many items of furniture. Suction power is adequate for most jobs on the standard setting, switching to turbo easily matches the power of a corded cleaner but does eat through the battery power in double quick time. I think I could do all of my house no problem on two fully charged batteries (2 are included and manufacturer quoted running times assume you have both batteries fully charged). I don’t keep mine in a cupboard but the compact storage mode really does enable you to hide it away in a small space.
The inbuilt tools are continent and flexible and the separate powered small head for pet hair works really well too, but I don’t think I’d risk it on the sofa as it doesn’t seems very gentle.
Vacuuming really is a lot easier overall particularly because of the light weight which I think is the principal advantage – it’s lighter than my previous cordless, never mind the bulky old Dyson!
There are a few downsides, the crevice tool isn’t really a tool but just the main tube without n attachment and as such is a bit too bulky for the average crevice. The dust bin is small and can be difficult to empty out, especially if you’ve let it get overfull (emptying after each use recommended). The brush bar on the main carpet tool, seems particularly prone to clogging up with hairs but is at least easy to remove and cut them away.
If you read this far and in the interests of full disclosure I did receive mine at a promotional price in return for writing a review, however this has not affected my views in any way. After a few weeks use the LED that indicates level of battery charge has stopped working properly and I am planning to return to Amazon for an exchange, but will definitely continue to use this cleaner.
This hoover is so light and suction is pretty good too. Doesn’t hold a lot of waste so needs emptied quite regularly. My only gripe with this hoover is the way the hairs get stuck to the brush. Quite hard to get off. But this hoover wins hands down over my last dyson.
We’ve been looking at cordless vacuums for a long time trying to decide if one would be right for us, but after adopting a second rescue dog it became a necessity — for a small dog he sheds enough hair to recreate another dog every other day.
After reading some reviews we picked up the Hoover H-FREE 500. Other reviews are correct, it does come in a very small box that was light enough that we pondered whether there was actually a hoover inside at all.
Fortunately there was, and we spent a few minutes (not long, maybe around 10 minutes in total) setting it up and getting familiar with the various elements.
After using it for a couple of weeks now I would say that while I would probably keep a corded hoover in the cupboard for those times when you want to do a deep clean of the whole house without waiting for batteries to recharge, this vacuum is perfect for every other occasion. We pull it out daily to run around the living room where the hair is usually worst, and it’s also brilliant to grab when the dogs have crunched a biscuit and left a mess on the floor, since because it’s cordless it takes seconds to grab and use compared to winding and unwinding the cords of a normal vacuum.
It’s very lightweight and swivels easily to get around, between and underneath most furniture, and with the head being flat to the floor we’ve found it doesn’t pick up any of the myriad of cables that we have around the house to charge various devices. We were also surprised that the most useful element of the vacuum was one we hadn’t really considered — it has a light on the front to illuminate the path the hoover is taking, which really highlights all of the dog hair that we’ve probably been missing in the past in gloomy corners!
The downside is that the battery power does drain very quickly when using turbo mode. We’ve only really used that when trying to get dog hair out of the sofa, so have found that can take a couple of charges to do really well — an excuse for a coffee break.
All in all we really like this vacuum and are glad we picked it up when we did.
I am a big fan of Hoover products and this is no exception! I had a plug in Hoover vacuum which was great but heavy to lug around a three storey house and after having a baby last year, I was finding that I needed to vacuum up nearly after every meal. This Hoover is perfect for me – it is extremely light so I can even carry it in one hand and baby in the other. My house is a mix of carpet, rugs and hardwood floors so I love that you can press a button to easily adjust the vacuum to the surface type. The vacuum is so easy to manoeuvre, it glides across surfaces and corners like a dream and the suction is good!
Two batteries is perfect so I always have one charging so it’s always ready to use and make sure I charge up the battery after I’m done vacuuming. The battery is easy to click out so I don’t find this a hassle at all. I have found I am able to do my whole house and not run out of battery power at all – something I was nervous about when purchasing a cordless vacuum – and I use it on turbo mode a lot!
The vacuum is also tiny when in storage mode so you can easily put it away when not in use, which I love as my house does not have much storage space. Another thing I love about it is that it’s relatively quiet (compared to my previous Hoover anyway). My baby would cry each time I vacuumed before but he’s been fine with this one.
The only con I have is that it’s not easy to empty the waste cylinder and I always have to stick my fingers in to get the dirt out, which isn’t ideal.
Definitely very pleased with this purchase – I actually enjoy vacuuming now!
I love how you can basically design this hoover for the cleaning you are doing – making it smaller, longer, lighter etc. It really helped me when I was hoovering the stairs and down the back of tight spots, but the suction of this cordless was definitely not up to scratch of my old plug in dyson. The design of this hoover is definitely it’s unique selling point, and it was apparently so intriguing sitting in my dining room that my husband decided to try it out on multiple occasions, something he has never done before! I also like that it comes with 2 batteries so you can charge one whilst using the other. 5* for design, but I’ve held onto my old plug in for general vacuuming on whole rooms.

When this arrived, it was hard to imagine the vacuum actually was inside because the box was so small, but this is testament to its space saving ability. If you are tight on space, this is a key feature for sure! To summarise, it is a pretty decent vacuum for the cost, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, but it isn’t ideal on hard floors and when the turbo mode is engaged, you don’t get long before the battery dies. Below I’ve gone into more of the pros and cons:
Pros:
– Very light and flexible. No issues with using it up and down the stairs or in handheld mode to reach up high. It can also go completely flat which is handy.
– 2 batteries means you can have one charging ready for replacing when your other one dies part way through cleaning.
– The brush head isn’t bulky so I can get it part way under the bed, under the doors of the fitted wardrobes and under the radiators with ease.
– All of the tools and parts clip in and out easily, including the parts of the brush bar so you can cut the hair out of it.
– The light on the brush bar is handy.
Cons:
– The cylinder is an absolute nightmare to empty. This was my biggest gripe – I think because it is so slimline, the contents do not just drop out when you release the catch. You have to get in there and dig it all out. I had to open it from the top and take it apart to properly empty it. The dust went everywhere – on me, the outside of the vac – very inconvenient.
– Hardwood floor cleaning was less than impressive. I ended up having to remove the brush bar and just use the stick to suck up crumbs, cat litter and leaves.
– Turbo mode really drains the battery – I have a 3 bed house which is not huge and I needed 3 batteries worth of power to do all of the floors (not counting skirting, ceiling, upholstery or any other dusting). I didn’t find it powerful enough without turbo mode on.
– I wish there was a thin flexible attachment like I’ve seen on other vacs that can fit down the side of dishwashers or under the fridge to get hard to reach crumbs – there are only 3 tools included for upholstery, pet hair and dusting.
– The position of the power button near the handle meant I frequently accidentally turned it off during cleaning, which isn’t a huge deal, but also when I was removing the cylinder, I’d turn it on, which gave me a fright and spread dust back around.

he premise to any good vacuum cleaner is it has to suck(pun intended) and shouldnt take your more time to clean than the floor you are vacuuming. This device ticks all those boxes and has its pro’s and cons.
Disclaimer: I received this as part of a campaign in exchange for an unbiased review and I intend to do so.
Pro’s:
The device is light and doesnt make you feel like you are a twist away from an injury.
It comes with 2 batteries included which makes it easier to continue without running out of juice partway.
has a turbo mode which can help with that stubborn bit of dust.
its got excellent maneuverability.
comes with a pet hair tool for the furniture
Con’s:
small dust bin, means you will be making more trips to clear it
the bin is difficult to empty
lighter means compromises, and its suction power is not as great as some other devices.
no stair tool
Overall a handy device and certainly has its merits, if you are looking for your first portable device its a good one to get and if you are ok with the few compromises then its easy to recommend
I’ve been using this vacuum for a couple of weeks now and I’m pretty impressed. It does seem to pick up far better than my previous one but this may simply be because the filters are new. It is incredibly light and I practically like that it can be left standing without having to attach a holder to the wall as you do with many of the battery-powered stick vacuums and all the tools/pole attach niftily to make it pretty compact for storage. It also converts easily from a stick vacuum to a hand vacuum and the brush bar can be switch on/off as needed.
Another plus is having 2 batteries so you can have one as backup to finish up when you run out of charge. Battery life also seems pretty decent, sorry, I’ve not actually timed it but compares well against my last 2 battery vacuums.
There are a few negatives I’ve found so far however. The instructions are rubbish, emptying it is tricky and often messy as the base releases fine but the space inside is so tight that the dust and debris often needs to be encouraged out. The other problem in fairness is not particular to this model and that’s the lack of a thin crevice tool for getting down the side of fixed cushions and into other narrow spaces.
I was in all honesty sceptical about this product having been a die-hard Dyson fan for a considerable time, even the size and weight of the box made me think this wouldn’t measure up. HOWEVER……the agility of this hoover meant I could get under radiators without banging and bumping the skirting and pipes; I could hoover under the sofa and other bits of furniture because the head and hose tilted to allow it and the head can even turn to a 90 degree angle so that I could get up alongside the kickboards in the kitchen – the upright Dyson was simply too bulky to get into these places.
The hoover is so lightweight by comparison to my old hoover it almost felt insubstantial. I have however found immediate benefits, it can be easily carried around the house, and with no cord trailing, it was picked up and used by my 13 yr old daughter to hoover her own room (she was very impressed). I can definitely see this being a big bonus for anyone that lacks upper body strength, whether due to age or other physical limitation.
The additional small rotary head, which I think they intended to get pet hair of furniture, serves that purpose but it is also fantastic when the top hand held section is detached from the main body and used on the stairs.
The bin is quite small and did prove a little difficult to empty because the pet hair, girl hair and general fluff seemed to lodge around the cyclone part. It was however easy to take the whole bin off and open the filter section so that the filter could be cleared. I personally didn’t mind this but could see how it might annoy some people and when I have looked at other stick style hoovers they are equally limited on bin size.
I have tested the hoover on tile, laminate, carpet and rugs and have found all to be well cleaned. It was as easy as a press of a button to switch between hard floors and carpet modes. The turbo button is also good on problem areas. I did think the standard of hoovering was better generally once I had fitted the window wiper looking gliders that come in the box.
Battery life was fine especially as an extra(separate) battery comes with this model. Its so inconspicuous I haven’t hidden it away in a cupboard although I can see how much less space it will take up and will probably think about using the wall mount in our understairs cupboard.
I have been surprised at how good this hoover works and absolutely love how agile and user friendly it is. I would have given a 5* rating if I did not have doubts about its suction power by comparison with my current hoover. Overall I think with time I might come to prefer it because of the additional features which make it easier to use and increase the ways in which it can be used. I’m a bit of a saddo and I’m looking forward to giving the handheld a go in my car, the upholstery accessory will help to get those sneaky commute snack-crumbs out of the cracks in my seats 😉
I bought this vacuum as a surprise for my wife, it came as Amazon arranged, but it was faulty , rang Hoover who were very helpful, said it was a circuit board problem, Sent it back after contacting Amazon, another was sent but did not arrive , even though it stated handed to resident on tracking , not us it was’nt ,or any of our neighbours. Contacted Amazon again who kindly refunded our purchase which we did not want, we wanted another Hoover vac . Few days later we ordered it again and it arrived . Amazon seem to get lot of bad press but with us they were brilliant. This Hoover vacuum is very impressive, powerful ,lightweight, it stands up on its own and we would totally recommend. The twin battery is excellent, we manage to do our 3 bed twice with one charge. It stores easy and the tools are part of the machine. Why 4 stars, to be picky there no crevice tool and the dust canister is a little small and tapers towards the exit and can be a slight performance removing the debris but not enough to be annoying. For the money its brilliant , having had 2 others of well known makes, this is easily the best. Family and friends have seen it and want one.

I have only used it 3 times so far but I am really impressed! I would never expect such a lightweight item would work so well. We live in a 2 bed flat with 2 pets (cat and dog) and this hoover managed to pick up all pet hair not only from the hard floors but especially from carpets. The motorised head for carpets works so well with pet hair that makes the classic, heavy vacuum no point using any more. Also, the motorised head makes it even easier to hoover since it practically moves on it’s own and there is no need to push and rub against the carpet to try for a deep clean.
Battery is decent- it lasted around 15-20 mins on standard and carpet mode (no turbo) and allowed me to hoover 2/3 of the flat. But with spare battery this is not a problem since you just put the other battery on and keep going.
Only negative is the bin is not very easy to empty. It is easy to open it but especially if it is full of hair you need something like a stick to help emptying it. But there are so many positives I still give the product 5 stars.

I have only used it 3 times so far but I am really impressed! I would never expect such a lightweight item would work so well. Pros:- Lightweight and easily maneuverable. Much easier to handle than more expensive models from other manufacturers. Two batteries are a big plus. Decent suction coupled with powered rotating brush in the cleaning head provide good lifting performance.
Cons:- Juts a minor one – dust collection container could do with being bigger.
Overall an excellent hoover. Would recommend.
I just bought this because the cordless vacuum stick I had required (expensive) bags, and was neither self-standing nor did it come with a means of hanging it. This machine stands on its own and also has a wall fixture so it can hang. So far it seems to do the job well, but it is early days. I am not sure why the brush only rotates for a carpet and so I use the carpet mode on my hard wood floor as this gets up the dust better. Otherwise a very good machine, it seems.
I like the lightness of it battery power not as long as it says but as you have spare battery that not really a problem the one real downfall is size of dust box it is small and not easy to get all dust out.small

Great alternative to a dyson surprising and great value love the head light and the fact it compacts dow
It’s lightweight good suction on turbo. Good battery life suits my 2 bed house perfectly. I have a dog it does the job. Find the cylinder difficult to remove and put back on..
When I first received the vacuum and looking at the box it seemed a bit too small for a vacuum to be in there, but this shows how space saving it can be Both myself and my wife have been using this hoover for over 6 weeks now, and can say that I am very impressed with it. Both myself and my wife put together some pro and cons for the vacuum so you can see how we liked and disliked it. There are more pro then con for this vacuum. Where the cons are: – Charging time – Hard floor cleaning – Battery life (when using turbo mode) – only two tools. Pro – Two batteries (21.6 V 2500mah – Each) – Brush on the wand pick up hair from carpet very well – Brush has a notch to cut out the wound-up hair – Space saving – Stands by itself – High suction (Only on turbo mode) – Easy empty rubbish – Light weight – Handy light on floor so you when the brush is working – One button start As you can see that there are more pros for them vacuum then cons for the price and features you cannot go wrong. I would have liked a few more tools so I could use it within the car as with the attach tool it can be a bit fiddley. The brush is very easy to clean out just have to unclip the roller and the whole brush pops out. The vacuum glides over floors and is very easy to move around been that it is light weight. Threre are different models you can choose from and you will need to get the one that will suit you home.
