Hoover is great, love the sensor. Hose and accessories are more of a faff than with a Dyson.
I absolutely love this hoover. Having had Dyson hoovers since they first came out, i wanted a change as found that Dyson seemed to be lacking in power, even though i maintained well, cleaning filters ect. i chose this hoover lots of research and im so glad i did. The suction is fantastic and i cannot believe the amount of fluff and dust/grit that is coming from my carpets, that looked lovely and clean. Dyson was clearly just removing surface dust and not getting deep into the carpet… i have wooden floors upstairs and it handles these equally as well, sucking dust from inbetween the joints where these have moved. I have a tiled kitchen floor with slip mats and it goes from one to the other with ease, you can hear the change in the motor as it recognises the different surface. The very long cable is great. The extension for stairs ect is not fixed and you have to put this on as and when required, but this is easy and not a problem… overall, the best hoover i have owned in over 38 years, highly recommended!!!!
Superb carpet and hard floor pick up, however I bought it assuming it had a ‘wander hose’ for ceiling corners, room edges etc and it doesn’t. It does have a hose that can be used for this purpose but it’s time consuming to alter the machine function. When it arrived I found it difficult to assemble but I am hopeless at following instruction leaflets. Good value though.
This was purchased for someone else, who is very pleased with the ease of use and cleaning results.

We had to replace our earlier Panasonic Vacuum and this was a very effective choice.
Got this to replace a full size dyson, it’s more manoeuvrable and lightweight, only down side is suction is so strong it seems heavier!!!
I read some comments that they thought this vacuum was heavy and cumbersome, but compared to my Dyson DC33, it’s really light and manoeuvrable – I suspect there are lighter vacuums available, but this is by no means “heavy”. The only criticism I would have (and this is minor) is that the attachments are a bit fiddly and the pet brush attachment isn’t as effective as the one on my old Dyson.
Overall, this is a modestly priced, manoeuvrable, lightweight, and highly effective vacuum cleaner – it won’t win prizes for its frills, but it deserves every one of its five stars from me.
Liked suction power and overall colour and looks. Bit heavy. Am pleased with my purchase.
This is a good vacuum cleaner & works well.
However it is let down by a few little niggles, lack of for thought.
The niggles are very small but none the less irritating. First the cable tidies are fixed meaning time spent physically unwinding the cable before use. A simple swivel toggle on top or bottom would make the cable just slide off & ready for use. Second the extension hose & attachments are a faff to use. I’m sure with a little time thinking the system it wouldn’t be to difficult to have the hose attached to vacuum maybe with a simple switch or valve to open & close off the hose.
Otherwise I found the Hover to be a good maneuverable machine with good suction. Not to heavy to use & does a good job. I would buy another if needed despite the niggles.

Best hoover I have ever bought suction is so good and very powerful heavy to be given with but get used to it glides along its not much effort as it swivel to do under furniture. Love love it would reqamend it anyway very happy customer .

Excellent cleaner .. replaced an older Dyson, and is a much better cleaner than that ever was. However, in a bid to attach everything to the upper handle, the weight distribution is not very comfortable, and would be impossible for anyone with mobility / serious arthritic issues. I live in a Bungalow, so do not have to carry it up and down stairs .. I wouldn’t want to on any regular basis. I do like the fact that it goes to ‘idle’ if you stop sweeping with it, thus saving brushes and belts.
Got this hoover from the warehouse with minimal damage for a bargain from the warehouse.
It does everything you need it to do.

Just what I wanted. I was surprised by how much dirt we have lived with in our carpets that my old vacuum was not getting out!!! The carpets feel a lot softer and fresher it is light weight and easy to move.
Delivered on time good value is quite heavy in the handle if you do not have a lot of strength

I received the my Hoover with next day delivery and it was well packaged. The set up was quick and simple with a easy to follow guide and the additional attachments all secure nicely to the main unit so I don’t have to worry about misplacing any of them.
My previous vacuum was a cordless Vax but I feel the suction just isn’t that powerful and since we’ve recently had a cat join the family, I find myself trying to keep on top of the fur they leave behind.
Pros:
-Something I was worried about was the length of cable as I though it would be frustrating going from a cordless back to a corded vacuum but this Hoover vacuum has such a long cable that I was easily able to cover most if not all of my rooms from one plug which was great.
-I like the fact it has a light and it helped with noticing smaller dust/debris in the dark Winter evenings.
-The mini pet hair remover attachment I thought was fantastic and really powerful. I used it on our couch and I really noticed the difference and could feel the suction power.
-The suction is good and clearly much more powerful that my previous cordless vacuum.
-Quickly detects and switches between suction type when moving between hard and soft floor surfaces in the automatic mode.
Cons:
-I found the vacuum to be really heavy and this impacted on how easy it was to manoeuvre and twist and turn when trying to get into awkward spots.
-We live in a townhouse so I have two sets of stairs (which somehow tend to gather the most debris) so being able to vacuum the stairs easily is essential for me and this just wasn’t possible with the weight of this vacuum and whilst the attachments are great, it’s just too time consuming to use the mini cleaner for the stairs compared to the light cordless vacuum I previously had.
Overall I think it’s a great vacuum with great suction and the added pet remover attachment is great for upholstery. Unfortunately thought, I wouldn’t recommend it if you have stairs as it’s just to heavy and cumbersome to use for them.
Okay hoover, takes a little while to get used to the swivel, be careful of anything on floor like shoe laces ect, if the get jammed you have had it motor flimsy built.
Great suction power. A little heavy, I am ok with it but my wife says any long periods of her using it will be hard. Moves well with excellent agility considering the weight behind it. The light isn’t essential but looks mega. Auto function of hard floor and carpet works fantastically. The additional bits and pieces are a little tricky to use and when all stored on the hoover looks quite bulky. Overall a great product just a little weighty and fiddley with the assortment of attachments.
I review vacs on my YT channel More Than Just a Cleaner… The jury is still out on this one at the moment. As a floor machine it’s pretty good however for work above the floor it’s faffy because the hose isn’t built into the air flow- it has to be attached and removed each use. The brush tool is poor too. On the plus side the floor sensor works well.
When you first open the box there is some very minor assembly which I required the instruction booklet for. The hose doesn’t stay attached to the unit but tucks tidily on the side.
Pros:
The suction on this is fantastic. The amount of dirt and dust that comes up is both disgusting and a relief. The carpet looks refreshed and almost fluffy after I’ve vacuum which my battery powered vac could not do.
The addition of the light on the head is a great feature to make sure I haven’t missed any spots on the carpet.
The cable extends far enough that I don’t need to unplug to do my entire bottom floor.
The dirt compartment is big enough that I don’t need to empty it every use.
The vacuum is extremely flexible which makes navigating around furniture and rooms extremely easy.
The handle height is adjustable, so no more hunching backache while doing the housework.
Cons:
Although the hose is tidily stored on the side of the unit, it is a bit of a pain having to reattach and detach every time I want to use it.
The vacuum does feel really heavy. Not ideal for lifting anywhere.
Opinion:
I would definitely recommend this vacuum for the money.
I bought this as my other hoover wasn’t fluffing so my carpet. Well this is doing just that!!! It also picks up really well but is really light to use too. The fact that the brush stops turning if it’s been left for too long standing is great to protect the carpet. Just love it!!!!!
I’ve tried many brands over the years and although this isn’t the best one that I have ever owned (baring in mind price points are very different), it definitely does the job!
I would say first off that this probably wouldn’t be suitable for an elderly person or anyone who may not be able to bare the weight and manoeuvrability.
Pros:
Easy to manoeuvre – The rollerball vacuum head makes it very easy to work around corners and objects.
Great design for hard to reach places – I found that I was able to hoover flush to the skirting boards and use the extra attachments to reach more obscure areas.
Automatically adjusts to flooring – My previous vacuum had to be manually switched from carpet to lino, this one is a lot easier as it automatically adjusts.
High suction power – From dirt and mud that had been walked into my carpet, to both long and short hair, this managed to pick it all up with minimal effort.
Waste container’s easy to empty – I didn’t need to fiddle with bags and had no spillages whilst emptying, just simply unclicked and tipped it away.
Compact storage – No fuss or needing to find other places to store attachments, each one has its own slot on the main body and can be tucked away easily.
Cons:
Quite heavy – I was hoping this would be light and agile, but it does have fair bit of weight to it, especially with all the attachments. Although myself and my mother were fine using this for our normal 20 minute cleaning session, my 70 year old Nan did struggle with the weight.
Falls over when using attachments – I’ve found that this tends to topple when using the attachment hose. It could be because I use the portable hose for the stairs, but that would be the main area I need to use this for.
Fragile and fiddly plastic clips – There’s a fair few plastic clips and bits on this Hoover that could do with being a bit sturdier. It’s not the end of the world, but bare in mind that you might find yourself having to replace or fix up the cable/cord clips and plastic cap on the handle.
To start with this new Hoover was easy to assemble, no tools were required. The unit certainly appeared to be well constructed and this was borne out during its use. The very long lead means less unplugging and changing power points, in fact more than 1 room can be done without this hassle. The main wheels have rubber tyres which reduces clonking when using it on hard floors and running over carpet bars. The unit is fitted with LED headlights, a nod back to the old days of Hoover vacuums, but they are more of a gimmick than providing any useful function.
The head unit swivels and is very nicely weighted to allow superb movement around the room. It has an extremely good feature, automatically turning the brush bar on and off when its not needed. This feature can also be switched to manual allowing the user to run the brush bar continuously or to turn it off allowing just the suction to pull the dirt up from things like shaggy piled rugs. Talking about the suction, this is really extremely good, you can feel the machine hold on to the floor and it definitely pulls the dirt and dust up, in fact its so good they have included a slider valve to reduce the suction when needed.
So far so good, however the tools are not so good. The extension tube is a totally separate commodity, it is held on to the side of the unit and has to be removed and inserted into a hole. Its a bit of a faff and really should have been designed better. When you are using the tools with the extension tube and pull, the vacuum will move happily enough towards you, however if it is at an angle it will come crashing down as I discovered when it damaged the stair railings and a wall.
The unit has a removable and adjustable handle which can be used with the tools, but why oh why couldn’t they have made the handle, tube and tools one unit permanently connected like a Dyson ?
So to sum up, a great cleaner as an upright but misses out on an all round performer.

The Hoover has completely stopped working, there is no power . After talkto Hoover they agreed it is faulty and will be replaced by Amazon and that process has been very easy to accomplish .
This is the best vacuum I’ve owned since I started buying my own appliances. It has great suction, is easy to empty, and has many different attachments to make cleaning a breeze.
It is effortless to use and with the headlights it is perfect for dark places, and the use of carpet to flooring is so easy, it is perfect.
This cleaner is great really cleans deep down and easy to use
The good:
Extremely easy to use, the cleaner glides over the floor with minimum effort on your part. No faults in terms of picking up pet hair, although on occasion the dust can be ‘spat out’ in front of the cleaner when in use. The mini brush that is included is very handy for cleaning sofas and hard to reach places, cleaning with the minimum of fuss. Likewise, the swivelling floor nozzle is perfect for turning the cleaner, moving it smoothly around corners. The feature I liked best by far though, was the 15M reach of the lead, meaning you didn’t have to keep unplugging it as you went around the house. Able to cope with a variety of floor types, the automatic floor sensor adjusts itself for different surfaces from carpets to hard wood, and did a great job of keeping the floor dust free…
The bad:
This is a heavy vacuum cleaner. Compared to our previous VAX model, this is far more cumbersome to lift around, especially when moving up stairs. If you are of a certain age, I’d say steer clear, as they weight may be a little too much especially if you have a bad back.
Summary:
Weight-issues aside, I’d recommend the Hoover to anyone looking to replace their existing vacuum cleaner. It performs as you would expect it to, and the long plug lead in particular is a boon when cleaning, as you don’t have to keep on unplugging as you move from room to room.
This hoover is honestly the best I have used. I used to hoover all the time and the floor would still be dirty, but with this I have truly seen the extent of how dirty the floor really was, it picks up so much more dirt compared to my old hoover and the floor looks cleaner. I have 3 cats so cat hair is the biggest issue I have, not just the floor on furniture, no matter what I do I could just not get rid of it, with this I have extra tools which I can not only get cat fur off the floor but off the furniture and my clothes! Lifesaver as I love dark clothes, and using a lint roller I would go through so many, this does the job too so no need to buy much lint rollers. I recommend this 100%, it has multi use and will help so much if you have pets which shed a lot of hair around the house.
I bought a Hoover vacuum cleaner because my previous one was not picking up cat hair well and all the dirt from carpets. The first time after using the Hoover vacuum cleaner I was very pleased, it collected a lot of rubbish despite the fact that the day before I was vacuuming with an old vacuum cleaner. It is very easy to empty a container with collected dirt. The cable is very long, I didn’t have to change the socket at all, vacuuming the whole bottom of the house. The motor is quiet, the brushes rotate quickly (they are a bit too loud for me), but they must be cleaned after each use. Led light is useful in darker places such as under furniture or in corners. The Hoover vacuum cleaner does not need to be lifted as there are wheels, cleaning the stairs is very easy thanks to the extension hose. Overall, the vacuum cleaner is not heavy if it is moved to another floor. I use the ‘auto button’ function, which sets the function of vacuuming various surfaces by itself, in my case carpets or linoleum. I am very pleased with this purchase and I really recommend this vacuum cleaner.
Easy to put together and lighter to push then my dyson . Great moving from carpets to kitchen tiles. Sensors different depths of carpet. I was both shocked and amazed how much pet hair it picked up.
Definitely recommend this if you have pets.

Arrived the day after purchase and i literally have not stopped hoovering.
We had a shark previously and it was just shocking with pet hair as we have a tri coloured jack Russell it’s hard to keep on top of all the hair and all the colours! We thought we would give this a go as it’s very affordable. No regrets at all!
The hoover itself is light weight, easy assembled as I didn’t even need the instructions, and easy to use. The fact the suction is so strong for pet hair is amazing! Best Buy! Best value!

Absolutely love this hoover. Used it for first time and picked up hair we couldn’t even see. Filled half way after we had already used our old one. Definitely brilliant that it adjust the suction on different floors as got carpets and tiles very useful
Nice and light to use, picked up loads on first use.
Lead is as long as my Dyson was so that’s fine.
Only downside was the hose fell off a couple of tomes from its place when not in use, but that may be just me.

Have been loyal to another brand for years prior to using this. I hoovered with existing cordless before trying this, in theory there shouldn’t have been anything to suck up but there was. That says a lot – it’s best my 300 plus worth of cordless easily.
