I’m a heavier male (working on changing that) and this pack fits very comfortably for both hiking and cycling. The shoulder straps are comfortable and breathe well, and I’m particularly fond of the Mylar sleeve that the water bladder goes into – even on long hot hikes the water inside stays noticeably cool – I can instantly tell when I’ve drank all the water that was in the hose. Also a big fan of how the bladder refills from the top – much easier to do with two hands and no spills than the kind with a screw lid. No canteen flavor either! The hose added a bit of a taste at first but that quickly went away. Comes with a hose brush.
The bag itself isn’t huge but will carry what you need for a day hike. I played around with it a bit and found it could hold a bike lock and cable, a six-pack of beer, and enough food for dinner for two people.
Great backpack. 3 good sized pockets, one, against the back, is insulated for the water bladder. The insulating material makes a slight crunchy noise but not bad.
Straps are fully adjustable so can be used by adult or children.
The 2ltr bladder is easy to and the top fully opens for cleaning.
Would of been nice to have a small inside pocket/pouch for smaller items but otherwise a great bag and bladder. Used on holiday with no problems.
Good value bag.
A great quality camel pack with an included water bladder, extra bite tip and hose cleaning accessory.
The whole bag is made from a lightweight mesh material and the backing/shoulder straps are mesh with a little padding.
There are multiple elastic mesh pockets – Two on the side and one on the center – for carrying different items like snacks, water bottles etc and there are two zipped pockets on the back too, one is a very large compartment which gives great space as it’s the entire length and width of the bag and lastly the smaller side zipped pocket which also has a great amount of space in there for extras. The bag is very easy to adjust as it has a chest clip which can be raised, lowered and tightened, as well as the standard shoulder strap adjusters at the end of each strap.
The padded backing part of the bag has the large velcro pouch lined with foil to help keep the water bladder cooler for longer as well as two velcro straps to loop through the plastic bladder seal piece helping to keep it vertical for the best water flow.
This bladder doesn’t have a lid, instead it uses the fold and clip style which is actually easier for cleaning than a screw top version and is just as water tight so no worries about leakage!
After washing the bladder and rinsing it through a few times – bag and hose – I then gave it a test to see how the water flow is and it’s got easily a mouth full of water in one or two sips through the nozzle, even with the nozzle in the open position there’s no chance of water involuntarily leaking out as the rubber bite tip helps keep the airflow closed and once the nozzle is clicked back into the closed position, there’s no way the remaining water in the tube will come out even when biting the rubber tip so it’s super secure.
The only negative with bladders is cleaning them out well enough to eliminate the plastic taste as general dish soap won’t work, they need to soak in a mix of either lemon juice and vinegar with warm water or warm water and denture tablets. I’ve tried the warm water and lemon juice which does help a little but the plastic taste can be stubborn to remove so it might require a few attempts. It’s not the best taste in the world when taking a drink when thirsty but it is harmless so there’s no concern about getting sick from it.
23.96-25.96 is a fair price as it’s great quality and overall a very useful bundle for people that love outdoor activities BUT without much effort you can find similar camel bag and bladder bundles for under 19.99 of the same quality.
This is the second back pack of the same style that I got but this is black. Now I have one for myself when going for hikes. Thus back pack is big enough to carry a small first aid kit, a thin coat, extra shirts and two water bottles. It has two mesh side pockets to put the bottles in if you don’t want to use the removable water bag that comes with a sipping pipe. The compartment where you can put the water bag is insulated. The shoulder strap is comfortable and you can clip it in the front to prevent the shoulder straps slipping. Good make and happy to have another one of this.
This is a very well made hydration pack which contains a 2L bladder and the reflective strips are very effective. It’s comfortable and easily adjustable to suit your back shape.
I have been wearing this for both running and mtb and hardly notice it is there. There is also room for extra items like a wallet or mobile phone. It’s cheaper than the brand leader but in my opinion the same quality if not even better. The bite valve works well to and doesn’t leak. Happy to recommend.
This is a lightweight backpack which is purpose built for carrying a bladder bag. I’m about to participate in a 10k run for the first time and for that I needed something like this. It has just about enough space to keep the bare minimum stuff to carry which serves the purpose to keep minimum weight.
It is made up of water proof material to keep my mobile and other valuable stuff. Also has a reflector for road safety.
A good hydration bag that stores 2L of water or your favourite drink.
Quality seems good, I couldn’t find any issues with the stitching around the bag.
Straps seem strong so this should be very durable.
Even when full with 2L water, it’s still comfortable to wear, the weight is distributed evenly on both sides.
Recommended.
This is an amazing hydration backpack. Very easy to carry around….very helpful especially when going on long trips or riding your bike for long periods of time. Great quality material…very sturdy and easy to use and also easy to keep clean. I really like the versatility of it…Great value for money…great quality…great price. I am definitely recommending this to anyone.
My wife is a keen runner and has undertaken distances up to a full marathon. She generally takes a 1.5l hydration back pack with her, but has run out of fluids on a couple of occasions when running 26 miles. I thought that a 2l capacity pack would be better suited to these longer runs.
She tells me that this is comfortable on the back, is well padded and has good straps. It can be adjusted for multiple sizes and doesn’t move around much when running. She does say that due to the larger bladder size it is quite long in the body, and probably better suited to a larger person, rather than someone of her 5′ 5″ size and slim build. That said she doesn’t find it overly cumbersome for someone of her size.
The bladder seems to work well with no noticeable leaks, and the drinks tube an appropriate length with easy to use feeder. The colour (we chose blue) means it’s quite visible and there are reflective patches on the back and front which make it stand out when running at night.
There’s a good sized storage bag with zip and other pouches for phone or cash, and the buckle has a novel whistle built in.
A current Amazon voucher takes the price down to around 21, which seems very good value.
This is a brilliant backpack, a perfect size for day hiking. You can tell that someone has put a lot of thought into designing this backpack to be the best it can for the intended user, as that user I can confirm they have done a fantastic job.
The look of the backpack is lovely, sleek black design with a great reflectiveness so you are safe at night. There is a front bungee cord storage section with a pocket behind it, a layer for your water bladder, a main section and side pockets. The size of the backpack is not too huge that it would be an issue hiking all day with it, but you can fit everything you need for the day in there comfortably.
The water bladder works well, I always advise washing it before use to make sure it is clean and you don’t get any plastic tasting water. The bladder holds a great amount of water and has a great cleaner with it so you can keep it hygienic and clean between uses.
This is a fantastic value backpack that is such good quality and is perfect for those long hikes outdoors.
This is a lightweight backpack that features a bladder bag and some storage for a nice walk or a reasonable light ride. The bladder has good access abilities and the central pouch has just enough space for essentials. This backpack was fully designed and built for the purpose on that front there is nothing much to grumble about. It even has reflector pads on the back and an emergency whistle built into the chest strap.
Lightweight, compact and great value for money.
We like to do forest walking where we can be out for hours at a time, with several small kiddos we are always carrying multiple flasks. This helps get rid of all that bulky stuff to carry!
It is lightweight, easy to adjust and is comfortable to wear.
The pouch is easy to fill and it comes with a tube so you can easily drink on the go.
The price is good.
This is such a handy piece of equipment if you like nature like our family.
This is a lovely rucksack with hydration bladder. The colour is very nice and the hi-viz details are very welcome too. The back padding is excellent though can get a bit sweaty but not over your entire back due to the size. The straps are comfortable too and the chest strap helps keep it nice and snug on your chest. The bladder works really well when hiking or biking, just don’t be tempted to over fill as that is extra weight. Decent amount of storage for your bits inside and in the webbing pockets too so perfect as a daypack. Five stars all day long.
My son is doing D of E so grabbed this for him. The bladder is a good quality plastic with a fold-over and clamp design that means no leaking. The tube, is long enough to stretch over a larger rucksack (you don’t have to use the one provided) and overall – a great way to get 2.5 litres of water into you over a long walk. The rucksack is a good design and we will use this for short walks independently of the bladder – overall worth the money and if you want both items or one in isolation – is worth the outlay.
Very good backpack. I have another one with a similar water capacity, but then it only has a small pocket to keep my wallet, keys and something small to eat. This backpack has much larger pockets that allow us to carry some more food, fruit, powerbank, warm clothes or to change… Also the water pocket is insulated with (I guess) aluminium foil.
It is made of good materials, well manufactured, lightweight, beautiful, and comfortable. It has several adjustments for different body/shoulder sizes, the chest strap to join both sides can be changed in height. The water is easy to drink.
A nice addition is the brush for cleaning the tube, as well as the replacement mouthpiece.
I had to laugh when I opened up the Amazon packaging and saw the words ‘Just Go Ahead’ on the polythene bag. Talk about plagiarism! It’s Nike’s ‘Just Do It’, only slightly politer!
What I didn’t laugh at however is the honest-to-goodness, value-for-money excellence of this product.
You get a good 2L liquid capacity bladder, and a very nice backpack that offers additional storage for smaller items.
This turquoise blue light weigh knapsack is so useful for a few items when going out for the day. The wide shoulders tops are lightly padded and comfortable. There are various loops for attaching carabiners or key rings. The 2 side mess pockets are wide enough for a small rolled towel or spare hats and socks. The pack includes a huge 2L water bag and extra long drinking straw.
The bladder pack on this is big enough for what I need and attaches easily in the pocket, leaving plenty of room in the main bag for your personal things. I used one of these on a hike but the bladder was bigger and I couldn’t get enough clothes in the bag but this is better the other way around as I had plenty of water left. The bag is lightweight, well made with ample pockets. A good price
Life’s been against me spending too much time on my bike recently, but when I do go out I like unchallenging off-road rambles in warmer climates. Hydration is an obvious issue and a backpack like this one from Atarni has been on my back-of-mind wishlist for a while, so I impulse ordered.
To someone who really doesn’t know better, it seems a very comprehensive self-assembly package.
The superstructure is a lightweight, black and adult size backpack. I’m over 6 feet and it doesn’t look small on me.
The pack has a foil lined insulating pocket for the included but separate bladder, opening at the top of the backpack with a pillowcase style retaining lip and Velcro fastener. It’s more open than I expected, given the efforts to make it a 4 hour stay-cool zone.
The backpack has more pure backpack features than I expected. Zips at the top and side open into pack-length storage pockets, making wet and dry a possibility. There are two net side pockets and a thin bungee-braced net bag over the back, and the bungee is held in place by loops of highly reflective strapping.
The 2-litre capacity bladder and feeding tube need to be assembled and threaded into the pack. There’s a flexible metal rod with a retaining ring-pull for scraping the tube, if detaching and washing doesn’t get everything out.
This is my first go with what I think of as a hardcore accessory, above and beyond my usual gourd and a home-made flapjack in my dad-shorts thigh pocket. I’m made up with the all-embracing range of features. To an admitted noob, 26.96 at time of review seems very reasonable.
If you tend to travel with just a small wallet and phone which fits on your bike or in the little pouches of your cycling gear, this backpack is great if you don’t want anything too bulky but want to have access to water on demand and also have a few little areas of storage if you was to stop somewhere along your travels. It’s a really comfy backpack which adjusts to fit your shoulders perfectly, doesn’t feel bulky or heavy when on and fits the 2L hydration pouch great. That pouch is anti leak and easy to fill. You then get a tube which runs off which you simply suck to get the water back out. No complaints from me, set at a very fair price.
Soft and comfortable to use .No issues with bladder same as no probs with hydropack.Good old proven working design with no surprises that fundamentally basic and old school made .Still no probs there .If you are after something regular this one could be perfect for you as not flashy at all.
A lot of thought has gone into the design of this pack, it has some really good features that makes it stand out. I am not a runner, but I do walk a lot. Most days I walk about 3 miles over rough terrain and like to take a few bits with me as I stop for a rest and chill with my dog. This pack is perfect for me to take as I have easy access to my water without taking the pack off, I can run the tube up from the left of right, it secures well with the loops on the strap. Unlike some bladder packs this one has plenty of pack space for me to carry my essentials as well as sine pockets for my flask and dog bottle. In the pack there is room for my snack, book, dog treats and collapsible dog dish and of course tennis ball. The smaller zip pocket is perfect for my phone for easy access and my torch as I walk a lot at night. There is another compartment at the front to pop my waterproof trousers. The zips are good quality and the adjustment for the straps is really good too. There is a chest strap to keep it secure and has a built in emergency whistle on the clip buckle. The reflective bits on the front work very well, I got my partner to take a photo when we were walking last night, and I am very impressed, perfect for the rural roads here. The water bladder is so much easier to fill than the ones with the circular screw access and much easier to clean. The included brush to clean the drinking tube is excellent.
I’m a heavier male (working on changing that) and this pack fits very comfortably for both hiking and cycling. Ein guter Rucksack fr kleine Touren. Toll ist die Reinigungsspirale, der Verschlu ist gut gesichert damit nichts auslaufen kann.

Light weight and works well for my dog and I.
