- Check long grassy areas for hedgehogs (and other wildlife) before strimming or mowing.
- Stop using pesticides and slug pellets in the garden. This can be fatal for hedgehogs.
- Check ponds in the garden has an escape route for hedgehogs such as a sloping ramp.
- Keep netting to a minimum in the garden, make sure it’s neat and tidy with about one for clearance from the ground.

Motor powered excellent at cutting but heavier and less convenient with mixing of fuel for 2 stroke engine
Electric ok but cable was a safety hazard as well as limiting
Hyundai battery powered very convenient. Weight ok for 30 mins by which time battery use is approx still 75% charge left! Cuts well and wheel useful for edging. Warning instruction booklet needs patience
Great lightweight Strimmer/ Trimmer. Although the cord with it wears out very quickly, but it will soon be gone and replaced with a better quality cord, but very pleased.
Easy to assemble and use. Wanted it to tidy up my lawn and it’s edges . Battery charged really quickly so no waiting around for long time to use when the urge takes !!! Also not too heavy as I’m a lightweight myself.
Good for small gardens,the only thing that I find annoying is that the Strummer wire breaks to easy .
Amazing kit. Easy to assemble, powerful. Strimmer seems quite easy. Original came with plug pin broken so couldn’t charge, however next day i’ve got a replacement!

As a strimmer it works well; as a lawn edger not so good – seems to sit high off the ground limiting the depth of the cut. The battery life and charging time is very good.
Had a problem with the battery not clicking into the charger properly, replacement battery and charger had the same problem so assume it’s a design fault. Not too serious as the battery does charge.
