Adjustable power helps when sucking up leaves in flower bed. Compact design aids on storage and its light. The build quality is good and it’s a quiet machine good value for money. Only hoovers dry leaves is the downside

Ready to use out of the box after collection bag fitted. light weight and long electrical cable but lacks power in both suction and blow even at max setting although is controllable. would like more powerfull performance

eceived blower today. I use it in my garden it does exactly what it is supposed to do . it took up my leaves with ease and as it mulched then I was able to put it on the beds . It is made mostly made of plastic and lighter than I thought. For-its price I am surprised how good this is . Please note I have a small garden so it was perfect for me

I really liked that this arrived fully assembled. However, the angled suction/blow device is a bit clunky and makes it less efficient blowing and more difficult to suck up leaves/debris than other devices I’ve had previously. Unfortunately, this can’t be removed. The bage is easy to empty and overall it seems to be robust. It is noisy- especially on suction.

Used for leaf blowing then vacuuming them up, was very easy to assemble, very handy extendable vacuum nozzle. It is a lot lighter than me previous one and as efficient.

I bought this when my trusty old Wickes special died after about 10 years.

I was expecting to have to assemble it but the nozzle is extendable and it comes ready to use.
It’s also good for making it more compact when storing.

It is better than my old one, as far as blowing and sucking up wet leaves are concerned and the bag is easier to empty. The leaves are shredded so they don’t take up much room in the bin.

I was unsure about the wheels at first, but they are very good and make it more manoeuvrable compared to just carrying it.

As others have said, the only downside is the cable, which is very stiff in cold weather and makes it difficult to coil up after use. I will probably change it for a better quality cable when the warranty runs out. (or shorten it and use an extension lead).

Overall, I’m very happy with it apart from the last point. (which lost it a star).

The first time I used this I wondered why I’d spent so many years clearing the leaves raking and bending! Now the leaves clear well and it’s easy to use. Sucks up the leaves but not stones, pebbles etc which is ideal for my landscaped garden.

2nd time I used it after a fair bit of rain (pretty unavoidable this time of year) and it clogged frequently. Can easily unclog but involves removing 3 screws which was a bit annoying – they should make this easier.

Otherwise great value for money and glad I bought it! Would recommend

I used this within an hour of it arriving. My lawn, borders, drive and patio were all covered in leaves. The leaves on the patio were stuck on the concrete. The blower shifted the lot with no problem. It was very easy to use, adjusted easily for height and compacted the leaves into the collection bag. The 30m power lead is great.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersI looked at lots of garden vacs. And I chose this one because it had a lot of good reviews. This hyundai garden vac is awesome. It sucks the leaves up in all nooks and cranies with ease. I chose this vac as well because you can turn the suction power up and down. I’ve got a path with little stones in. As you can see in the picture. When I sucked up the leaves on the stones. I just turned the suction down to 3 and the vac on 3 picked the leaves up with ease. And the vac didn’t even suck up any stones. If you’re looking for a garden vac. Look no further because the hyundai is the business. You can make it longer with ease. And another thing this vac is really light weight not like my old flymo my old flymo was back breaking. Well done seller for selling such a good awesome garden vac. My old flymo didn’t get into nooks and cranies I had to use my hands to get the leaves. One more thing it is really powerful. So just remember to turn the suction down if you have got gravel. When I got the vac I didn’t no what it would be like well now you no much more powerful than my old flymo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely awesome garden vac

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat product. We were looking for a product that would work equally well as a hoover and as a blower function. This delivers great suction performance on general garden debris, whether on the lawn, in borders or on patio areas. Can’t rate it too highly. My wife is in love with it.

This is a light and powerful vacuum. Suction is adjustable to avoid picking up stones. The wheels and rectangular suction head mean that you can use it on a patio rather as you would use a standard vacuum cleaner. No assembly is required just plug in and use. Switching between suck and blow is done by simply moving a lever. It picks up and mulches small cuttings and leaves easily. It struggles with larger leaves due to its small air path but these can be raked up more easily. It won’t cope with large twigs but again a garden rake with get these. On the negative side the collection bag isn’t very strong and I think it will wear through quite quickly, however I’m not concerned about this as i can replace it with one from my last Bosch leaf blower. Overall very good value for money and would recommend but be aware that you might have to repair or replace the bag with something else.

Purchased this as it seemed to do everything the more expensive leaf blowers/vaccums do at a fraction of the price and I wasn’t disappointed.

I wouldn’t normally go for the budget option but opted to this time as it was Hyundai. The blowing function is very powerful and was very useful in clearing my patio from the left over grass after mowing the lawn. The vaccum feature also worked perfectly and dealt with larger bunches of lawn debris quite well.

I haven’t even used the shoulder strap yet as the item is very lightweight.

Ideally the cord could be a it longer but otherwise this has been perfect.

Only used this once and impressed, and have a great feeling about it. Strong suction and blower too. Just keep watching it doesn’t get choked.. although 45 ltd bag, because it mulches very well, the content is like dust, but does get heavy, in fact too heavy for the bag to stay attached. More frequent empty will keep it good.. love this and works so well with my cordless hedge trimmer, as that is so easy to use I cut more frequently so only soft trimming that are light to suck up..

From a global manufacturer and built to last. Powerful suction and blow, quite wieldy with shoulder strap. Come autumn this will be very handy but I purchased for cleaning up large patched of dead leaves before using the vacuum mode to shred them and and adding them to compost heap. Very straightforward.

    Good guarantee period with manufacturer.

    Would recommend

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this because I was fed up with the leaves on my artificial grass. I’d bought a rake especially for artificial grass but all that did was flick them all over the place. The grass had also gone a bit flat and I was seriously thinking of renewing it but then I used the garden vac not only did it pick up all the leaves etc but I was amazed after, that my grass looked like the day it was laid. It really does a good job, powerful and a very good price. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic garden tool. I’ve owned B&D and Flymo versions of this but i must admit this has been the best and easiest to use of the three. The power of the motor can easily kick up a storm (No Joke) This is my second Hyundai garden tool the first being a petrol lawn mower. The build quality is top notch and its not too heavy. The speed adjustment and nozzle length adjusment are features not found on others. Solid reliable product, can’t recommend enough.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe have lots of moss coming off of our roof so we thought we’d give this a go. This is the best garden item I have ever bought!
Easy to assemble and use, you slip the strap over your shoulder, set it to vacuum and you’re off. Our garden is cotswold stone front and back so we were a bit concerned the stones would damage it, no need to be, it picks up the moss or leaves and occasionally stones depending on how low you have the end and how powerful the suction setting, but guess what? When you release the trigger it spits the stones back out!
In 20 minutes my front and back gardens are moss free, I looked like a Star Wars sandman absolutely covered in dust where the mulcher had turned the dry moss into dust. Emptying is east too, just unzip the bag over the wheelie bin and voila, done.
I recommend this item wholeheartedly based upon my first use, haven’t tried the blower function yet but if it’s as easy and good as vacuum it’ll do a great job.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI was impressed with this, I only had some old fallen cherry blossom and a few dry brown leaves but it did the job. Found if I swept everything into piles I wacked it on MAX and just hoovered them up after a few run overs (As you can see from the video) didn’t use the blower much but again it did the job on sending light leaves flying although seemed to send them all over the place so takes a few goes as it’s quite a wide mouth. Also the mulcher is great it turned everything into tiny squares so handy for reducing the waste in the garden bin (just make sure he bag is secured on properly or it’ll spray everywhere). Decent job for the price.

But the bag kept blowing the bag off .
How do you keep the bag tie on …
It says you can use in all weather’s .?
But actually on the product not on wet leaves
I wouldn’t like to do my full garden as it quite heavy after a while even with the shoulder strap on.

I’ve had to update my review may 2023
Struggle to even pick owt up and it doesn’t break it down. It like it sucken not great or the blower only use it 3 times . Going to speak to customer service as it was lot of money and I really need one that work righ

This product is worth what I spent on it. The power of the blower is great the fact it’s adjustable is also great. I did however find that some of the leaves got clogged a bit which took a minute to unblock.

Very practical product, variable power settings very good. Suction element not as handy, as it advises it is not for collecting wet leaves – but leaves are wet in the winter!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought this to tackle an ornamental cherry tree which was shedding leaves and berries galore .
The machine was easy to assemble ( removed from box and clipped bag onto receiving plate and off it went), very noisy with a forceful blowing action which resulted in leaves flying everywhere even when set at a low mark .
I decided suction might be better for the job and this worked really well .
All the leaves, damp and dry were hoovered up and the berries struggled- they would get sucked up then drop away as soon as machine moved or was lifted higher ( this was helpful for the gravel path as stones did not get sucked up ) .
I was not sure if the leaves were chopped in the process as then seemed smaller when I emptied the bag .
It made a tricky job much easier ; although sweeping up leaves with a broom and snow shovel was quicker on smooth surfaces, this machine did a great job on the leaves lying over the gravel path and lawn.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersThis is a great item and priced very well. The whole machine works perfectly it sucked up all the large leaves from my garden no problem and with three very large trees over hanging i get piles of leaves that gather. It even dealt with wet leaves fine. The odd occasion if it does get blocked, i found to put it on full speed blow and back to suck again a couple of times usually clears any blockage . Its a much better machine than the price tag and it will do the job i believe as good as any other model.

The weakness with this item is the bag. The bag is connected to the machine via a bit of tied string and this string in time will stretch/wear and once that happens you get small holes where the small munched up leaves will be pouring out behind you while in front of you, you are sucking up the big leaves. If they could have put a plastic connection to the bag to create the seal right then this machine would be the best for the price of any other machine you could find. The release mechanism for the bag is weak also and can easily break so i would advise not to detach if you can help it . Further more the zip isnt the best of quality and this could over time break as well especially being in a garage with the damp and cold getting to it.once the zip goes the machine is useless.
When considering the low price i guess i could just buy another one now the bag is now causing issues so thats why i put a 4 star. But in truth i would have preferred to pay more with a better bag connection.
I have had my leaf blower/hoover now for 14 months

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this product based on good reviews.
I took it out of the box and was using it within 5 mins.
Great item easy to set up. Excellent for the price.
    Does the job well.
BUT I didn’t expect it to be so heavy. I will use it I will just do the garden bit by bit.
My arms and back are killing today though.
    Well worth the price

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI really like this product, came straight out of the box and I used it within 10 minutes of it arriving to pick up the leaves from my drive. I have two minor criticisms (hence 4 not 5 stars) it is quite heavy and short (I’m quite tall) so a bit back aching to push along, I’ll happily put up with that though as all the leaves were gone in very short measure.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWow! This is a brilliant piece of kit for sucking up those pesky leaves that settle irritatingly on your lawn this time of year. Switch to suck and watch them disappear into the machine. But Switch to blow and they’ll spread even further across your garden. I always thought that Hyundai just made Cars with long warranties and ocean going container ships. Now they’re taking the leaf clearance market by storm as well. Comes with a shoulder strap and leaf bag which expands when the unit is being used. This gives the user the feel of playing the bagpipes. The noise of the unit is guaranteed to annoy the neighbours when in use. Comes in a pretty shade of blue as well.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have been able to do a direct comparison in vacuum action with this new Hyundai and my Workx, the blower on which has gone after many leaf collection seasons.

But first things first. Before buying any leaf vacuum blower check how easy it is to put the collection bag off and on! My property has lots of trees and over the years I have struggled with many machines trying to get the bags on and off with cold damp hands. Misery! ASK users! Otherwise, you’re going to be thoroughly fed up and infuriated no matter how much you have paid.

Now to the machines. Both have easy put on and take off bags (thank goodness!) and they perform equally on mulching. Both machines do a good job of vacuuming but the Hyundai doesn’t like big horse chestnut leaves. They tend to get stuck at the mouth. It’s simple enough to free them – a quick prod with your fingers but a nuisance if you have loads of these big leaves. The Workx (on same day and leaves) just gobbles them up. The blower on the Hyundai is a bit wimpish compared to the Workx which can blow leaves into the next field. But the Workx exhaust pipe into the bag can occasionally get blocked. Clear by banging the bag! The Hyundai needs ear protection. The volume and pitch of the motor is irritating and potentially damaging to hearing.

I am sorry to lose the blow element on the Workx but it still works wonderfully as a leaf gobbler. It has done four years of hard autumnal work on leaves of every kind. The Hyundai is still starting on that journey. I am giving it three/four stars against five for the Workx. Noise, wimpish blower (cf the other machine) and needing a fiddle with large leaves, lets it down. Finally, I don’t see the point of an adjustable speed on the Hyundai. The vacuum power is altered by how close you put it to the leaves which in many parts of my property are lying on chipping stones so I have to take care . I’ll review again the durability and performance of the Hyundai at the end of season. And potential buyers: check that bag operation!
