Nice and bright. It’s a good white natural feeling light. Lasted about 4 and a half years.

Bought Jan 2018, died July 2022. Not bad.

    I have birds.
My flat is dark around the front not much sunlight gets in, but these bulbs have cheered them up, plus there energy efficient. They have also made me feel happier & helps with my bad eyesight to be able to read.
I will be buying them again. Thank you.

I was looking for a bulb that would allow my partner to read and study in the bedroom in the evenings. I couldn’t find anything bright enough in the shops so saw this on Amazon and decided to give it a go. Turns out it’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s definitely bright enough for reading without any danger of eye strain and reaches its full brightness within seconds. Viewed from outside it’s a completely different colour light to all the others in the block, almost bluish white. I’ve only had it installed for a week so I can’t comment on energy efficiency or longevity yet, but so far I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I have used a daylight bulb where I work at home for several years and decided to spend a little more on the replacement recently. Given that I live with Neurology issues which currently affect my eyesight it is a blessing to have a bulb that produces a solid, stable, bright light to work under. Normal bulbs in other rooms show up my condition and feel harsh by comparison. I have found daylight simulation takes a lot of pressure off me when working for extended periods. I believe the previous bulb I used was 20w 1200 lumens and replacement is 30w 1600 lumens. An extra 10w seems to make a real difference. It is hard to assess longevity and efficiency at the moment but I am more than happy with the quality and brightness of light.

The iBoutique daylight bulb is very good. The 30W (150 Watt equivalent) bulb gives a very bright light. This light is good for embroidery. Sorting the threads is same as in the real daylight. And it is cheeful to have the daylight at the dark time of the year. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Unable to comment on longevity as only just fitted. Ask me again in ten years. Needed as I work from home and office has little natural light. The light provides the type of illumination I need.

Slightly larger than your average bulb, certainly brightens up the room and does feel like daylight.
I purchased this as I work with colour a lot and was having a job picking correct colours with other bulbs, cannot fault this it works brilliantly

Took a while to get used too the brightness, but its ideal for doing my jigsaw puzzles. I also think its helping with my seasonal affective disorder as I don’t feel so tired

I suffer with seasonal affective disorder- well no more! Since installing these bulbs during winter months they have really helped regulate my sleep and mood and noticeably other members of the family too!

This bulb is fantastic, both my husband and I have Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). It makes the place a lot lighter and mimics natural light, and has eased our SAD quite a bit. I will say this is our second bulb is 12 months though, so may be a one off faulty one, or they don’t last that long. Time will tell with this one.

Really happy with bulb. It’s nice and bright and feels like the sun.

I’ve just fitted this bulb, and the light from it is great! Not dazzling like a sharp bright light, and not yellow like most “warm” bulbs. It really appears to give a good representation of daylight, ideal for my workspace. Obviously, I cannot yet comment on its energy efficiency or longevity but it gives me what I need so would I buy another? Most certainly, I’ve already ordered a second one!

Love this day light bulb. I brought it to put in the main light in my plant room, it covers the whole room in daylight and my plants are producing more leaves. It’s incredibly bright not harsh on the eyes. Living in a house that is Constantly dark, especially in the winter. It’s a real winner in my book. I do have it on all day so I’m not sure how long it will last for me. But I am wanting to purchase more to put all around the house.

We bought these for my wife who has Seasonal affective disorder around this time of year and it has help her massively and improved her mood to her normal cheerful self so these are worth every penny in my book we got one in the bedroom and another in the living room and we going to buy a 3rd for the hallway 1000% recommended

I initially ordered one of these bulbs out of curiosity and with no high expectations. I was stunned by the difference this bulb made to the brightness in my kitchen. I ordered 3 more the next day and am about to order 4 more so that my whole house will be filled with this new bright light. All the other light bulbs in my house look so dull compared to these. Although these lights are significantly brighter than regular light bulbs the light is not harsh or headache inducing. I love these lights and thoroughly recommend them as far as brightness goes but have not had them long enough to comment on longevity or energy efficiency. My house plants also love these lights!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy son’s room needed a white light than the yellow as it’s keeps him awake while he do his studies and reading. He preferred this than his yellow light.
He has a table light ( yellow) which is good for him if needed the dim sleepy effect.
This it is bright and might not good for people with migraines . I have migraines and I will use it for my art and craft room but not my bedroom.

Really bright 🌞... Just what I need for my son's room.

I received my 30w daylight energy saving light bulb and inserted it into my reading lamp. I ordered them because I have problems doing my jigsaws at night time. I found that the ordinary bulbs were reflecting back from the puzzle and causing a glare. This bulb is a crisp, bright light that makes everything clearer and brighter. It is like having the sun on constant tap. I was so impressed I put the other bulb in my craft room, it makes it clearer to thread needles etc. I would say I thought it quite expensive at 8.99 per bulb BUT bearing in mind the clear bright light it emits, the fact that it will last for 8000 hours AND is energy efficient using only 30w and emitting 150w – well I consider that a bargain or you could say..(wait for it) ‘IT’S A RIGHT BOBBY DAZZLER’

I love these bulbs. I now have one in every room. I have no natural light in my flat, and as I suffer from SAD as well as depression and anxiety, these bulbs are fantastic. Only downside is, that because of the damp and screwed up wiring in my place, they only last a year! So in that case they are expensive, but I’m willing to pay it for the health benefits alone.

I used these over winter as grow lights for tropical plants that weren’t fairing well in the winter darkness, and they did a great job. Unlike some questionable manufacturers or vendors, these lightbulbs do give out the stated lumen value at a blue spectrum. A downside is that compared to LEDs, these lightbulbs use a lot more electricity, so much so that you’ll notice it on the electricity bill if using them for an extended time frequently. Overall though, fantastic, legitimate grow lights.

This bulb is brilliant, so much more light, I have my sewing room in our attic conversion, it has 2 dorma windows but not that good a light, now it’s like working outside

Absolutely perfect for the lower ground floor of a salon space to create the illusion of daylight. Very impressed and will now always use this brand as other “daylight” bulbs weren’t at all effective.

I bought these gor my parents because I got one previously and they were so impressed that they wanted more.
They like the brightness of them in the lamps next to their chairs and feel the bulbs do have an effect on how they feel in the winter months when they don’t get out much.

Very pleased with this and have ordered 2 more. No idea about energy efficiency or longevity (as I’ve only just bought it) so can’t rate those aspects. As an artist who likes to work by natural daylight this is one of the best lights I’ve used.

This is an excellent quality eco energy saving daylight lightbulb .
This is like a sunny day bright yet gentle not at all glaring like standard bulbs. This is not a harsh light & very kind to my eyes enabling me to see more clearly & read & do concentrating work like sewing .

Third lot of these bought. They last in a busy room for about 2 1/2 years for us, daily use up to 12 hours a day. Superb light quality and bright. Much superior to any other bulb that we’ve tried. I write big reports off plans and maps, and my wife is an artist, & we can work early and late in near daylight.
Daylight supposed to cheer you up too. Can’t promise that just now. [March 2021]

I brought this light bulb as I needed something that would help with my reading n general hobbies.
I wanted a natural light so I could see colours as they really were.

This bulb has delivered on those points n I’ve also found that I don’t have the amount of headaches I used to have.

    Thankyou

These were purchased as a replacement for other energy efficient daylight bulbs, which had increased in price. These were approximately 50% of the cost, so I was a little sceptical. I cannot comment on the longevity, as they are a fairly recent purchase, but certainly, as far as brightness and colour temperature are concerned, I can’t fault them. I certainly would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have tried numerous types of bulbs for our office/craft room in the past and have been disappointed. I am very pleased and impressed with the brightness of this boutique energy saving bulb it totally transforms the room making it a pleasure to work in.

The product is used in our drawing-room where we do our reading, study and relaxation. The family is satisfied by the brightness, colour and ambience of the light. The only observation I want to make is an odd smell experienced for a few days when we began to use it. It will be good to look into the smell factor. It smelt burning some chemical or that sort of material. since the rooms are closed it can be quiet strong when we first sensed it.

What with constantly being home in lockdown and a very old dark house, thought maybe some daylight bulbs rather than the dreary yellow ones would do some good. They are nice and bright without being blinding and actually feels like we are getting daylight in our dingy dark old listed house. Will be purchasing more for the bedrooms eventually.

Good for the price but I have used it for my office light to help with SAD in the winter months. It is good for this but weather it is just this particular bulb or not but the light sometimes flickers when first turned on or once every 2 hrs but not much other than that great light for the price and goof for helping with photography that i do in my spare time though would not rely on this solely a not bright enough for fast shooting.

For anyone who suffers from SAD and feels a little low due to darker days in winter..or just Britain in general.. this is a must. I can only imagine what I feel when I bask in this bulbs light is that of a moth. I am drawn to it and I feel elated. My mood improves drastically.
It’s also just a great light if your crafting as it’s super sharp and white rather than standard yellowish bulbs.
Just be careful how much you bask in this bulb.. come evening maybe swap to a standard light as it can stop the brain producing the sleep chemical and you be a little wired come bedtime!! But gloomy mornings and in the day if your house is a little dark it’s fantastic! Get one. You won’t regret it. And I trust these and have bought several from this brand- be careful if you shop around and some aren’t ‘sunshine bulbs’ to help with SAD but just bright lights. There is a difference.

I’m really sensitive to artificial light. I wear sunglasses in the supermarket because being under fluorescent light for too long makes me feel very ill. I got one of these bulbs for my bedroom three years ago and it’s been a wonderful little investment to improve my wellbeing. It is pretty bright, but because it’s full-spectrum it’s not an invasive type of light. It doesn’t flicker nor give me migraines. It’s still going strong after 3 years, but whenever it blows, I will buy the same one again. Great!

I bought this bulb in 2016 and it’s still going strong. I am purchasing another as I have noticed it dim a little but it’s still giving out a nice bright white glow. Bulb is on usually for an hour every morning while I get ready then an hour at night then when I have been working from home and it’s been dark sometimes for 3-4 hours.

This product u it s certainly bright enough so much better than other energy saving bulbs which tend to be dull. As for energy efficiency and longevity, it’s too early to tell as I’ve only just started using it. So far, so very good though

I’ve left two of the review categories blank as I can’t answer them after two days usage.

The bulb is very bright although is noticeably artificial so I think the S.A.D claims or stretching in a bit.

That aside, I have zero complaints…its a very powerful bulb.

Brightness: Bought for domestic use. Used in a Living room (size 16′ X 11′). It produced a cool white light, quite bright, but not overwhelming or too bright for eyes.

    Longevity: Lasted about 3 years.

Safety: it stopped working suddenly, producing a burnt smell, and visible darkening blackening on glass part as visible in photo. Not sure is this the normal outcome once their life is over, or whether this could have been a safety fire hazard.

Summary: worked well for about 3 years, satisfied, no issues. Not sure about safety aspect.

Worked well for ~ 3 years, then Burnt out !

I’ve put this in a floor standing lamp near my desk. My room lighting is a bit dim and makes me too tired to concentrate in the evening. This daylight blue light has made a great difference as It gives a bright light which keeps me awake and concentrating on my work.
