The original rrp may seem high but this is standard across the board, quality costs and the manufacturers are so confident in this tap they offer a year warranty, that’s good service for you.
The instructions are very comprehensive and clear but I cheated and asked a plumber freind to fix the tap, in his own word “very easy fit” and he was dont in 20 minutes and that included stopping for a cuppa.
The temperature of the water as always is down to your boiler .
The tap itself is great to look at, easy to use and so easy to clean,well made with high quality materials, does exactly what it should do, good value for money and easy to fit.
This mini basin mixer is very easy to install. They are produced of chrome — therefore a non-oxidizing material. Its color can easily conform to any interior. Neat and shiny looking tap, elegant in appearance, solid construction, great chrome finish, smooth action and seems to be well made and should last. It’s quite heavy, really good quality product that came supplied with all parts/connectors needed.
Very modern design and makes the sink look a lot neater. Works smoothly, like the joystick control, easy to install, no leaks. Easy to clean and polishes up well.
Good handle action and lovely waterfall feature. Only negative is the nozzle sprays the water a little bit uneven when flow is rapid, but it’s not a big problem .

The design is contemporary and the finish is exemplary. There are no blemishes and the fittings are easy to follow.
This tap comes with mounting screws and two 15mm flexible pipes and providing that your original pipes are 15mm then it’s a doddle to fit.
The tap itself is heavy and feels sturdy and once connected the water flow is constant with a good rate of pressure.

The tap came with everything needed to connect it to the sink, all flexi-pipes and even the olives.
I got this tap to use in a small WC we are installing in the entrance hallway of our daughters home.
The diminutive size of this pillar tap and the fact it comes from a trusted brand all made this a very easy decision to make this an item worthy of being tested.
The flow rate and temperature of the water is restricted by the tap to better protect our grandchild.
The tap is guaranteed for 5 years and according to the listing the mechanism is guaranteed for 15 years.
The body of the tap is solid brass with a good thick chrome coating, as good as any I have ever seen.
Sadly I have not yet been able to get a plumber in to get it fitted and while I am happy to tackle most jobs plumbing is where I draw the line.
The guy who is coming to put it all together for me is very happy with the quality of everything we have already got for this job.
If he has any issues when it is fitted I will update this review, which I think is very unlikely! HTH
Don’t be put off by the name “Mini Mixer Tap” as this tap is a good full size. I just had the tap operational for a couple of weeks now and hope it gives me years of trouble free use. Easy to install perfect size to match my basin, easy to use and smooth operating action. Fantastic quality finished our sink off perfectly.
What a beautiful Basin tap this is by Tesi! Our bathroom has previously been equipped with a cheaper mixer tap and after just 2 years it had begun to flake. This basin tap seems to be top notch quality, and this is apparent with the chrome material and its premium finishing. It is clear you really do get what you pay for!
Installation was one worry for me as I am a big amateur when it comes to plumbing. Though thankfully the instructions were illustrated and clear, so no need to learn new technical terms and words. You are able to set the maximum tap temperature (though this depends on your boilers configuration). The vast majority of the set-up is already done upon arrival so really there’s not much for you to do.
You get an additional 5 year guarantee though only when it’s installed by a qualified plumber so please keep this in mind when buying.
Overall, this mini basin mixer tap looks elegant, modern and of excellent quality. Very happy and would highly recommend. 5 stars!

This is a reassuringly heavy, sleek tap. The tap has classic, elegant lines and it looks really great in my new bathroom.
The faucet is equipped with cold water pipe and hot water pipe. The surface is smooth and shiny. It looks well made and very solid. This style of faucet is very suitable for installing in the bathroom.
It has a shelf life of 5 years, which is extremely helpful. Although there are detailed instruction steps in the manual, I think it still needs professors to install it safely.
The unit was supplied with all the necessary parts to install, including the flexible hoses and was easy to swap with my old tap. The size is perfect for my liking.
It’s too early to say that the tap valve is of good quality or not, but so far, I don’t have any issue. I don’t see any leaking water from the taps.
The lever is smooth and easy to operate. They way that it has been designed offers a nice connection when moving the temperature level and the flow is nicely controlled. There is a nice touch on this which is with the cartridge in the nozzle which ensures a nice aerator for the water. Superior corrosion & rust-resistant finish prevent dirty from sticking to tap surface, clean tap by cloth is enough in Daily Use.
Overall it’s a great tap and I love the colour and texture of it. How long it lasts I don’t know but will update this review if anything drastic happens.
This mixer tap is sleek and smart and it looks high quality. My partner said it was fairly easy to install. The tap does work very well and the lever moves far more smoothly than our old mixer tap. I would check out the dimensions in the listing as I am not sure it would be suitable for all basins.
I found this to be a fantastic quality tap, it feels heavy duty but smooth to use. It was well packaged and comes with all the bits and piece you need to get it installed.
The tap is very easy to use and has a smooth transition from hot to cold water. It is quite small so it would be perfect for a small basin in a small bathroom. It was very easy to install and the instructions it came with were nice and clear.

This is a small mixer tap that comes with connection hoses already in place, reducing the time it takes to fit. Movement of the lever from left to right is beautifully slick and oozes quality. It is stunning in situ and great to use and definitely a tap that has not proven disappointing in the flesh as many can be.
The tap projects water out into the basin, rather than letting it fall straight down, which means it will suit larger basins and some small ones depending on their depth (you need a decent depth or the water will splash out the front, which could prove embarrassing for guests).
It is a good quality tap, just be careful about basin size.
Looks fantastic in the chrome, and was easy to fit. Thankfully I already have the same waste of this brand so it matches perfectly. Mixer taps are a godsend and I’m really pleased to have put one in the bathroom finally.

We have all Ideal standard brand bathroom products in our house and find them to be very reliable.
The action of the mixer taps though is so much better with this one.
It is really smooth and I really like flat top with the hot cold symbols visible that are sadly lacking on our older ones.
The chrome work is excellent and these look really modern with their compact design.
There is an excellent sprinkler action and it’s a novelty to wash your hands.
The kit is easy to install if like me you have modern plastic plumbing with shut off valves fitted.
The flexible pipes come pre-attached and there are olives and seals in the kit.
The only thing to really note is that there isn’t a sink waste included and ours was attached to a rod built into the tap previously.
Quality hardware, easy installation, perfectly smooth operation. Feed lines are plenty long enough to reach my wall stub-outs. The drain-closing stem tended to flop around at first, so I slipped a piece of vinyl tubing over the drain lever and through the stem connector hole – now it’s centered and stable.
This is a very solid mixer tap, a perfect size for a small basin be it an en-suite or downstairs toilet. The tap includes everything required to install onto 15mm pipe. The flexi connectors are already installed, this saves a lot of faff, and time. Two 15mm pipe connectors, the basin fixings and the collar for a tidy finish on the basin. The tap comes with a pre-installed aerator which can easily be removed for a non-aerator end which is included in the set.
The tap has a nice smooth tilt and swing action. A small rubber cap on the back is used to release the small screw by Allen key to remove the tap, a chrome collar then needs prising off and then you can very easily lift and replace a red plastic ring inside if you want to seat a maximum temperature. This is a handy feature and could be useful such as with kids. It wouldn’t be much use for my set up as by the time the combi boiler starts up and warm water has got to the tap after pre-warming the pipe along the way I will have finished washing my hands. The max temperature will depend on you boiler or tank water temperature (see photo).
Overall I cannot fault the build quality, and action of the tap, its a little easier than some to install and a handy temperature control setting.
This Ideal Standard German engineered brand (made in Europe) is absolutely top quality made from chrome on brass with an internal disc cartridge that’s guaranteed for 15 years. It comes with fitted slim long flexible tails approximately 36 cm from the bottom edge of the tap, plus brass connectors though they’re not the locking valve to control water flow. The instructions are very much illustrated rather than written though they are very clear. There’s a 5 year guarantee but be aware this is only if fitted by a qualified plumber. It comes with a 2nd tap nozzle so you have the choice of flows, it’s fitted with a champagne flow one.
We’re replacing our cloakroom basin tap with this one, we foolishly purchased a much cheaper one online and the chrome has flaked off badly within a short time from little use, this Tesi small tap for smaller basins looks a much better quality tap, proving cheaper taps just don’t last. Not always been impressed by Ideal boilers but the taps and sanitary products are quality. Smooth action. Easy install. Easy to clean.
