This camera is amazing quality, both day & night vision. The battery lasts surpisingly long however you need to make sure your solar panel is facing the sun at all times to get charge or you have to take it down and charge it yourself. This is an issue for me as the area I needed covered doesn’t get constant sunlight. The only fault I have is it picks up my horses as people and notifies me of motion detection around the clock when it shouldn’t (animals shouldn’t be detected). It also doesn’t have an SD card facility so I had to subscribe to the cloud and pay monthly to use their services. Typical! I’d highly recommend these cameras but go for the one up with the SD card 100% so you’re not tied in with monthly payments.

Even for an oldie like me it was very easy to set up. The only problem I had was accessing the the on button on the camera, it’s very small. But overall I’m very pleased it work well.
The camera works well and you can change sensitivity if the motion sensor but it does miss some human movement. Main problem is that even with solar panel the battery only lasts a couple of weeks and the needs recharging. This may be because it is Winter but still a drawback

The camera is great, not sure about the solar panel yet as it’s winter so hard to tell if it’s any good or not.
Great picture quality, covers all of my garden side to side and front to back, still optimising the detection levels as I want mine to detect cats, squirrels and other garden visitors. I wasn’t sure on some of the settings, so I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful. Really pleased with the product and after sales service. Will definitely use them again if I have a need. I’ve only given 4 stars for motion detection as I’m still optimising it.
Made a mistake thinking that this would have night vision- if it has it’s not working. Cannot fault the product during the daytime

La tengo instalada en la casa de la playa,al exterior enfocando a la puerta principal.Tiene un muy buen angulo de vision,las imagenes se toman muy claras y nitidas y la vision nocturna es mejorable,pues tengo una farola en la calle que la salva de grabar en zonas oscuras,si no fuese por esta luz extra creo que no sera la misma calidad de grabacion.
Los materiales son buenos,el plastico es resistente y estanco,pero la parte movible de la camara con la peana ha comenzado a oxidarse y hacerse fea,aunque es normal por q estoy en la zona de playa y el viento del mar destroza todo lo metalico por el salitre.
La app deja bastante que desear,la grabacin en la SD (128MB) dura mas de 15 dias grabando en HD,pero la reproduccion del video tienes que ir seleccionando con el cursor para ver la grabacion,como si quisieras dar saltos en un video de youtube desplazando la barra de tiempo.
La tengo conectada por WIFi y como el modem esta dentro de la casa,la seal era debil y daba muchos fallos de conexion,he tenido que sacar un router Acces Point en la parte de la cochera,fuera de la casa para que la camara tuviese una conexion excelente,asi no falla,aunque tambien se hubiese podido conectar directo con cable red y conexion RJ45
Aun asi,cumple con lo que es y para lo que es…la compr en oferta,tenia pensado en comprar 2 mas,pero ha subido bastante de precio
So far so good! Really clear pictures and the notifications are as needed. Battery life is long even if the solar panels don’t fully charge! Only been up in darkest point of year so far so I’m thinking the panel will catch up once the sun is out more! Recommend over the ring ones a lot cheaper and no fee to cloud store just pop in an SD and good to go, can record on phone while watch too!
Excellent for the price but with one flaw. I bought this to keep an eye on my house over xmas, and it would’ve worked had it not rained. Because there is no kind of built in or attachable rain visor, the camera lens was wet and the picture was obscured the whole time. This prevents the motion detection from working and at night you cannot see anything at all.
You’ll either need to set it up under cover or build/buy a separate rain cover to get any use out of this in bad weather. I’ll likely find a bit of flexible plastic to attach to it.

Product well packaged and delivered on time. Set up not as easy as anticipated however eventually got there. Be very careful where you decide to site camera as you will need your solar panel to be no further than 2.5 metres from camera to be in sunlight for charging. No extension cable recommended. . Also keep in mind camera to be sited in area with over 80% of Wi-Fi signal for decent results

Cmara que sustituye a una Szsinocam comprada hace 3 aos. Mencionar que la Szsino era una tipo bullet y con mucha, pero que mucha ms calidad. Esta IeGeek es todo plstico y veremos lo que aguanta. La Szsino ha muerto por un problema elctrico del distribuidor con unos 20 cortes en 24 horas. Otras 3 han sobrevivido. No tiene ni las funciones de poder cambiar los modos de vision (inteligente, infrarojo o color) ni la posibilidad de que te enve ms de una imagen por correo electrnico. A parte la imagen que te manda es de unos 40 kbs y es muy pequea acostumbrado a imgenes de unos 250 kbs que se vean realmente bien. He pedido 2 pero una va a ir de vuelta seguro porque no cumple mis expectativas. El fabricante/vendedor reconoce los fallos y espera que lo entienda. Pues NO. Por ese precio y esa calidad no la puedo recomendar. Buscad otra marca. La compr porque funciona con la app HiCam o HiCamPro que no puedo ms que recomendar. Me quedo una por necesidad, la otra va de vuelta. Mi nota es un 3 de 10. Saludos y mucha Salud!
En general todo genial con esta cmara:, imagen, manejo, conectividad etc el nico pero que le pongo es en el tema de deteccin de movimiento en concreto las alertas , con perros en casa he sido incapaz de poder configurarlo para que no salte la alarma , ni bajndolo casi al mnimo el nivel de deteccin. Son perros grandes eso si. Desconozco si existe alguna cmara que sepa discernir entre humanos y canes grandes.

Cmara muy sencilla de instalacin y de fcil configuracin. La calidad de imagen es excelente incluso de noche y con circunstancias de baja iluminacin. La deteccin de movimiento se puede programar tanto en sensibilidad como en zona de deteccin con el fin de afinar la deteccin y evitar falsas alarmas. Muy recomendable. Una vez instalada quizs compremos una segunda cmara, que adems en la APP permite tener monitorizadas todas las que aadas.

Always great cameras but the flexibility of location for this one is brilliant due to its solar panel. A long lead means you can put the panel almost anywhere. The camera takes very good quality day and night images and the App is simple to use.
I have used ieGeek cameras before and they have always been well built and reliable. This kit is no exception. The built quality is excellent, the images are crisp and the function is brilliant. Where I have struggled in the past is with motion detection and the new human detection works really well. In the position mounted I have no power so the solar panel solution is really welcome. So far I have had no problems with charging but it is easy to dismount if I need to recharge normally.
Overall, this camera is huge leap forward for me because of the solar panel solution, the enhanced motion detection and the quality of the components. I couldn’t be happier.

Buen producto, compacto y resistente, la calidad de imagen es muy buena y usando la app lo puedes reproducir en todo tipo de dispositivos, yo los estoy utilizando en un iPad en un Macbook air en un pc y en dos telfonos mviles uno android y el otro un iphone, funciona perfectamente en todos. Este es el principal motivo por el que me decid a comprar esta cmara, necesitaba un producto que se pudiera reproducir en 5 dispositivos a la vez y funciona perfectamente bien en todos.
I already own the IeGeek doorbell camera and know first hand the quality and reliability of IeGeek’s cameras so this was a no brainer to me when deciding to get a camera for our back garden.
The quality of this camera (DD201) is second to none.
Unboxing it and connecting it to the app on my iPhone took literally minutes at most. I really like that the camera can be easily unscrewed from its bracket making it very easy to remove when charging the battery. Time will tell if I ever need to fit the solar panel for charging as my doorbell cam battery lasts months and is used multiple times everyday including live video and playbacks.
Motion detection works really well and can be adjusted to work to your needs, 24/7, day only, night only, or even set to a certain time. The sensitivity can also be adjusted to your need.
Over all I think this is a premium camera and I recommend it to everyone looking to protect their home, work, car etc

Excellent camera in all aspects especially the night vision very sharp and clear.
A well packaged camera which comes with all the right fixings for easy installation. I didn’t have any trouble setting the camera up, adding it to my home network and the CloudEdge app. The rubber cover is in two parts, the first inner part is for connecting the lead from the solar panel, and the larger outer part hides the sd card slot and the reset buttons ( I missed the second part initially). So far the camera is working fine, I’ve tried it at night and during the day. It gives a good field of view that cover the whole drive right the way round to the front door.
Overall I’m happy with the build quality and the picture.
I’ve used a few of these cameras before and this one brings most things together as a complete package.
The packaging and delivery was excellent with almost all the pieces you would need, incl screws and wall fixings. SD card is not included since this depends on individual preferences ie cloud vs limited history vs lots of history.
Installation is simple, especially with the solar panel. A quick reset and adding into the CloudEdge app an it was running as expected without any hassle.
You’ll see from one of the photos that i actually hosted the solar panel under the camera and north facing behind a sleeper. After 2 weeks the camera is still achieving adequate charge during the autumn days resulting in a very discrete setup. Therefore showing a good efficient combination of camera/solar panel.
The camera does not have human motion only detection so pigeons were my most popular stars for the camera.
For me, images and data are stored locally but there is a subscription model to store in cloud. I’ve not had any problems with local storage and prefer this scenario, especially when multiple cameras are used.
In conclusion, an excellent camera wrt setup, quality, operation and price.

This camera is actually really good, it comes in very nice pagaging and all the things you need to install it, it can take sd card for saving everything, also there is an app on the phone to see the camera real time.
I love the fact I don’t need to do holes and have to look for a socket point, it’s perfect for on my decking area to watch over my hot tub area.

Hola, dude mucho sobre la compra de este producto porque algunas opiniones hablaban de que reportaba muchos falsos positivos. La verdad es que al instalarlo durante los primeros das comprob ese hecho: es cierto. Ahora bien, estuve haciendo pruebas para encontrar las causas antes de devolver el producto. Puedo aportar 2 datos: 1. La cmara es extremadamente sensible. Esta sensibilidad puede regularse en sus ajustes de configuracin de su app (“alarma de deteccin de movimiento” – sensibilidad). En mi caso sensibilidades del 75% en adelante captaban las diferencias de luz que entraban por la ventana y hacan saltar el sensor. Actualmente, a una sensibilidad del 27% se acabaron los falsos positivos y la deteccin de movimiento funciona fantasticamente bien.
2. Si se instala cerca de una fuente de luz como una ventana cuidado con los destellos de luz que pudieran entrar en la cmara desde ella. Yo lo solucion construyndole una pequea visera con una cartulina.
Una vez as configurada la cmara funciona muy bien. Muy til la comunicacin de audio bidireccional (puedes regular sensibiidades tambin), la grabacin de video y el envo de fotografas es impecable.
This is the 3rd ieGeek camera we have got, 1 mains powered and 2 battery. I got the mains powered first and would always get battery powered from now on as the battery lifeis so good and the ease of charging via the provided USB cable is so convenient.
The quality of the camera is second to none and the 2 different brackets are made of good quality metal and the moving part appears galvanised so it is longer lasting in inclement weather. Screws and plugs are provided as well if you require them. The rubber plug to protect the SD card and USB charging slots is thick and seals well to prevent water ingress.
The picture quality is great and to be expected with this brand and the night vision is also fantastic. The night picture attached was when it was pitch black and there is no light pollution nearby so it literally is as dark as it can get. Whilst the camera doesn’t have zoom capability You can simply pinch your phone screen when viewing to zoom in closer if needed.
The WiFi extender I use is in the garage and is about 18m away and I haven’t had any connection issues or the signal dropping out. The fact it’s battery powered with optional solar panel supplied and WiFi enabled means there’s no wires and you can simply place anywhere you want as long as you’re within range of your WiFi.
The battery in my other ieGeek camera last about 6 months, however this camera has a solar panel which you can connect if you wish to negate the need to charge via the USB.
A micro SD card isn’t supplied but we don’t need it with this camera as it’s just to keep an eye on the rabbits if we’re away or the kids can watch them from inside the house if it’s raining hard.
The CloudEdge App is easy to use and more than one person can view the camera as long as they have the app on their phone. It’s easy to share the account.
In summary, a great quality camera using high quality materials and components. I would highly recommend this camera and I expect this won’t be my last as we are fortunate enough to have a fair bit of land and the cameras are a great security provision as well as keeping an eye in the kids when they go wandering!

Tengo la cmara instalada hace poco ms de un mes. Lo Lo suficiente para probarla. Tiene buena imagen nocturna. Se puede graduar la sensibilidad de movimiento para saltar la alarma. Horarios de conexin etc etc. Simple pero muy eficaz. La mejor compra que he hecho en mucho tiempo
No est mal. Los materiales son normales, y la forma de ajustarla tambin es mejorable. La App esta bien, pero tampoco es una maravilla. Tiene zoom, pero es muy pequeo, poco til. No est mal para el precio, pero no volvera a comprarla.

Fcil de instalar, calidad de imagen en el dia correcta, deteccin de movimiento bueno, lo nico la visin nocturna en mi caso no llega para ver todo el exterior.
Me ha gustado que todo ha funcionado perfecto y a la primera.
Y eso que queria hacer un uso un poco fuera del habitual, la parte mas normal de conectar la camara y verla en el movil y ordenador ha sido, instalar la app de Android, conectar la camara con el cable de red al router, seguir los pasos de aadir camara y todo funcionando.
La parte menos comun, que era leer el video de la camara desde mi pc y una raspberry pi usando python, tambien ha funcionado a la primera y eso que no controlo mucho…

Me ha gustado mucho la fcil instalacin requerida para conectar con iPhone la calidad de imagen es muy buena queda probar la deteccin con la alarma pero muy contenta calidad precio he adquirido dos de momento.
La visin tanto nocturna como diurna excelente, la deteccin de movimiento perfecta adems nada ms detectar movimiento graba automticamente y te lo deja guardado en la app el audio perfecto tanto del entorno como del micrfono un producto muy completo.
Para empezar me lo mandaron rapidisimo, luego en cuanto a la calidad de imagen tanto diurna como nocturna y deteccion de movimiento cumple todas mis espectativas con creces ya que es una marca que conozco y se de su fiabilidad y calidad. Os la recomiendo
Lo bueno que veo que tiene muy buena imagen,buen alcance y muy rapida en enviar aviso de presencia desde que lo detecta hasta recibirlo.
Lo malo, un poco lioso la configuracion para verla en pc y para que te mande el aviso a correo electronico,yo lo tengo mensajes push hasta que estudie un poco como configurar el correo.Otro punto malo es que a veces al cambio de dia a noche se me desconecta y tengo que reiniciar el movil porque sino no reacciona, por lo demas todo bie

Es la tercera cmara que compro de la misma marca, y ningn problema hasta ahora. Conforme se me vayan estropeando las dos que me quedan de otra marca, las sustituir por estas. Es muy fcil de configurar con el programa camhi gratuito, pero si tienes algo de conocimientos inbformticos, puedes utilizar software de tercero como ip Cam View o tinyCam PRO que te permiten monitorizar en el mvil todas las cmaras a tiempo real al mismo tiempo.
Hay cmaras mejores, pero tienes que gastar mas del doble para mejorarlo. En relacin calidad/precio no le veo rival hoy por hoy.
