Setting my cameras up was very straight forward and the picture quality is superb – Highly recommended.
Delivery was very quick and very well packaged.
Seller has been in touch to offer any future support if required.
Overall – Very, very happy.
Generally this is a good product, although the app required to interface with it could do with some work to make it more user friendly. Example, you can delete all the recordings from the SD card, but if you the go to History they are still stored somewhere (not on the Cloud, as I don’t use that).
The camera sensitivity is proving to be a minor problem as it seems to be triggered by insects flying in front of it – this also affects the battery life.
I bought this as a cheaper option to the other cameras I have. It’s excellent. Easy to fit and set up. Gives high quality pictures via Cloud Edge app. From.the instructions I thought you needed iegeek and CloudEdge apps. But you don’t. I was already using the latter so added camera to that. Worth buying an SD card at same time to save fitting later. Can’t fault it and solar panel seems to work well.
Simple enough to set up via app. Instructions very clear. Delivers decent pictures / video even in darkness.
Take note no SD card included should you wish to store any pictures etc

The cameras were very easy to install and set up. The picture is clear but the cameras did need some tweaking to get the correct angle, but once set up we are so far very satisfied.
Great camera and solar charger, really easy to install and match to your phone. Good pictures and the ability to talk sound an alarm or light.

The I-geek security camera is a really great purchase. I now have 3 set up around the outside of the house. The solar panels keep the cameras charged so no problems there. The CloudEdge software is easy to use, adding the cameras and checking the images and video when activated. The motion sensor is quite sensitive so moving plants can set it off !
All in all a great purchase and good value!
I bought this for my chicken coop. It’s very well priced and does the job really well. It’s easy to set up and the image is good, even though it’s at the top of the garden in a shed. I would highly recommend it.
It looks good quality. It was easy to set up. The camera image is good quality. Lots of useful features on the apps.(Siren, talk thru the device, light). Some cameras ask for a subscription to be able to download images and movies. This one doesn’t need any subscription and can record to the memory card (not incl) .
I connected one of this to solar panel. Somehow water got into the unit over time and damaged SD card connection. Since I only had this unit for less than one year, the seller was responsive in dealing with the case and able to offer full refund. I have another item which has worked fine since last year connecting to a solar panel. Hence, the 4 stars for the product and post sales support.
Love the camera, easy to set up and great features although was very difficult to connect to Alexa showfollowed instructions to the dot but couldn’t connect, turns out they say to get the skill on Alexa but didn’t let you get past the sign in screen, try searching for a skill called cloud edge. This works perfectly
Not a bad bit of kit for the price paid. I gave it 4 stars because the battery doesn’t last very long before it needs charging, about once a week. I don’t know how long it’ll last before the battery will no longer charge, only time will tell.
I’m no techie but with a bit of concentration I set it up easy enough had no problems with it since. customer service are prompt polite and good at explaining stuff .don’t install in an area with high traffic flow i.e lots of people walking in and out as your battery will drain rapidly. Andy pit centre noisy area turn the mic off as sound triggers alerts as well mine was triggered by a TV set on loud in the next room. I would highly recommend this produc
I bought this camera to avoid any wires installation, it’s working perfect wirelessly with no issues so far. Highly recommended if you don’t want hassle to put cablling connection. A+++++
Don’t normally write reviews but I spent a lot of time trying to find a good quality camera that I could keep an eye on cars in our drive as were out of sight from windows. I specifically wanted one with local storage and could be app controlled. I also needed a WiFi model.
This camera met my requirements and exceeds them. Quality is great and battery seems to be lasting a long time (still in the 80-85% region).
It was quite easy to set up my battery wifi camera
with the eigeek app. Didn’t need edgecloud app as I put a sdmicro card in the camera. I had a lot of questions aswell and they replied to all by email. Very helpful indeed and they solved the issue I had with over exposure at night time(live video was too dark) .I just turned the camera away from the wall and night vision improved. Good value for money and my battery camera performs well. Highly recommended.
I have a few other wireless cameras which cost much more and the ieGeek camera is every bit as good, as far as I can see.
The installation process is very straightforward and is very quick.
The ieGeek app has plenty of features and camera loads as quickly as my other cameras.
The image quality is good and auto night vision works well. The audio warning and strobe light is a very useful feature.
Battery life seems to be good so far, I reckon it will only need charged every 2-3 months, time will tell, but it’s easily done. The waterproof cover for the charging port is a good fit and should have no problems for outdoor use.
All in all I’m happy with my purchase.
The cameras were far better quality than I had been expecting given the price I paid and the initial setup was quite simple.
I chose to use the Iegeek app to manage the cameras, but you also have the option to use the CloudEdge app instead should you prefer to.
Connecting the cameras to our wireless network was easy – you simply need to point an activated camera at a QR code on the app, there is a positive “beep” and you are ready to locate the cameras.
Locating the cameras is assisted by the app showing you the strength of the WiFi signal in your chosen position and, of course, the picture the camera is seeing. All required mountings are included.
After a couple of hours I adjusted the alarm areas of both cameras to ensure only the areas I was concerned about sent alarms to my phone.
This is as simple as “painting” the area you want to remain activating alarms on pictures within the app.
Alarm settings allow you to stop notifications being sent to your mobile and to set the times you want the cameras to be active, though I have left them on 24/7. Initial checking of the battery levels suggests they will last as long as the manufacturer claims.
Picture quality is very good and you can save any interesting videos by either downloading from the SD card on a PC or exporting directly from the app if you “record” the video whilst watching it back.
After having a scare with an outdoor theft, I bought these to detect if the thief came back. Luckily we haven’t had anything but these cameras are great because they have motion detect and good enough quality (in day and night) to see exactly what’s happening at your home live from the app. Easy to install with an SD card and very helpful staff at the support team. Just need regular charging depending on how much it records but sensitivity can be easily adjusted to prevent false alarms and save battery life. The additional siren feature would be great for times when we’re away and the house needs protecting.
Bought this after returning the useless Cooau security camera. Battery life is much longer lasting with igeek model as expected,motion sensor works well day and night and no glitches with the app to camera on playback. Set up was easy. The only problem we had was getting it to stay upright on the wall once fitted,very fiddly but eventually tightened up.
I bought this product to replace a previous camera (another make) which was on it’s way out.
It was really easy to set up and connected straight away with my wi fi and with the Cloudedge app which I had already been using – I just added another device.
Although the instructions do say not to use in small spaces I wanted to set it up inside a hedgehog feeding station so I could monitor the night time activity.
There are numerous settings available so it was a case of tweaking things until I got it set up how I wanted it.
So far its working well and capturing lots of activity so I’m very happy.
In fact I will be ordering a couple more so I can monitor overall activity in my garden – and being able to use them all on one app is a bonus.
I just wish I could have a slightly longer recording time – the maximum is 30 seconds and I would prefer a minute but that’s only a minor detail, it would also be good if there was a black version for fixing to sheds and outbuildings where the white stands out too much.
I spent some time looking for quality outdoor CCTV cameras for the house. I reviewed may other outdoor WiFi battery operated cameras and found these ieGeek cameras. Having read the operation features and technical specifications it was clear they where more than suitable. The remote control is ideal combined with the mobile app.
I purchased 2 x CCTV cameras which arrived on time and opened the box. The setup was easy to follow using the mobile app. The first camera is used at the front door and the second camera is fitted to the rear door. Great features like motion lighting and you can talk to people with the Speaker! and there is a siren that sounds off also.
The cameras are easy to configure on the mobile app, settings are quick to set up to suit your requirements. The live videos are excellent 2k quality with audio. Image quality is also excellent and motion detection works very well and activity alerts are quick to your phone.
I will continue to test and use these cameras as I would like another camera for my Motorhome for security purposes.
I highly recommend these CCTV WiFi cameras if anyone needs good quality home security.
Good camera we have 3 used as security cameras on our house, the app is easy to use and the picture quality is clear. You do have to play around with the motion detection sensitivity sensitivity bit to get it right but cannot complain. We were able to recieve alerts and check recorded footage whilst abroad which was great. Great customer service.
Sadly, the cold this winter has killed the internal battery and it won’t hold charge for than a week or 2, it was originally lasting for 3 months or so.
Might just buy a new one for 40. Not bad for 2 years service.
We didn’t know anything about security cameras and seen the ieGeek security camera on Amazon, it had a good description of how it works and how to install plus it could be purchased for a reasonable price.
It was delivered the day after on time and packaged well.
We unpacked it and bear in mind we are absolutely rubbish with technology, we had it set up and installed within a couple of hours.
We have had it set up for just over a week now and it doing its job perfectly. The picture quality is good, you would be able to see face detail if needed. We didn’t have to change the motion detector setting as it worked great as soon as we set it up, it even caught the neighbours cat jumping on the shed roof. We’ve got it set up so it only detects movement in the garden and if you stand by our wall, no further.
It is a good feature that you can delete activity off the app if it is not needed so you are not using lots of storage.
It is working as a deterrent aswell because upto now (fingers crossed) we haven’t had anymore objects thrown over the wall. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase of the ieGeek security camera.

Was looking for cameras to provide video protection for front and rear of house. The good reviews of these i Geek cameras led me to buying a twin camera pack (for a very good price!). Cameras arrived very quickly and on opening the box I was not disappointed. The cameras are are heavy and well built and certainly seem good quality. Pack comes with ball joint mounting brackets and wall fixings included. Instructions are pretty well written and easy to follow. I had both cameras up and running in 5 minutes after downloading the app from the i Geek website. Once installed I spent a few minutes looking through the options and settings to familiarise myself with the operation and features of the camera. I would recommend anyone purchasing these cameras to do the same as there are quite a few options available. The cameras were set up to my WiFi network and checked for WiFi connection in the intended location for mounting. Using the app you can monitor the signal strength and indeed the live video stream – great for ensuring you have a reliable connection from the camera. After confirming connection working all that was needed was to fix the cameras in their final position and final settings for motion detection etc. The cameras are working well and motion detection is excellent. I have logged into the cameras from my phone from areas well away from home and had no problem with live streams or controlling the cameras remotely.
i Geek customer service is excellent with prompt answers to questions not related to camera operation. I have also had emails from them asking if all is well and do i need assistance – I find this reassuring there is a company checking all is well and replying to questions.
WiFi pretty good..works into the garden but have got it as a 1st floor hallway/door camera
Having a PIR sensor built in, it’s ready to go.
You can also set up a motion mask through the app to ignore things like trees, car movement etc.
The main issue with the app is you can’t download footage directly, but have to press record and it saves the video that is currently playing on screen.
This isn’t a problem if it’s only to be used to view on, you could take the SD card out and use a PC to access the footage.
I have the solar panel plugged in and sat gathering outside light.. despite me logging in and viewing recordings the battery has stayed at the same level for a week, so is looking promising considering it’s still not very sunny.
You cant do continuous recording but that is the same with most battery cameras.
Not bad for 50.
Definitely better than done other 1080HD camera but don’t expect to zoom in and see numberplate or faces from a distance.
Easy to set up and install. I like the quality of the night vision and the fact that there is a siren. I would recommend to buy with a solar panel as the battery last only 20 days in my case.

As stated in headline follow instructions on packaging. Not now possible to see who is at door as we have two loud dogs who sometimes bark when nobody at door. When I changed broad band a call to customer care produced a swift responce text which talked me through how to reset avery good sevice. I also purchased a sola panel which eleiviates having to nemove to recharge once again easy to set up.
Set this up the other day, I was impressed with how easy it was to connect and set up to the home WiFi. The look, ease to install, hassle free all round with superb app functions, fantastic quality images day & night for this price and what appears to be a solid aftersales support network with confidence in their product and extended warranty for free, this is a must buy.Can’t fault it.Excellent all round,feels far more high end for the price!
It was super easy to set up and install. The picture is good and clear, it’s wide angle covers the area that we need it to. The night vision has a very good, clear picture which can be in black and white or colour. The motion detection is good, sometimes a bit too sensitive but you can adjust that easily, the app Cloud Edge is easy to navigate. Lovedoes the light and warning siren features When the motion detection is activated it records a short clip. Will definitely be purchasing another one for the back of the house.
The installation and set up was very easy and simple to use on your phone, and the video quality during the day and night is good, and the solar panel keeps the battery charged even during dull winter days.

Nicely packed and simple, clear user manual but as usual tiny writing these days.
Slight confusion over request to download 2 apps – the CloudEdge app didn’t work for me so used the ieGeek Cam app which worked immediately. CloudEdge app removed after without issue.
Once that was sorted, plain sailing and fitting the camera and solar panel was quick and easy to do.
Controls via my Android phone are straightforward and the manual, also available online, is useful for any lack of clarity.
The build quality of the camera and panel are really good and compares well against others that I have seen and used.
It’s only been a few days but first impressions are very good.
Extended warranty is free and added online once set up.

I had this up and running in no time. Easy to install and impressive for the price. I found the settings in the app easy to follow and the picture quality is excellent. Night vision is also very good, even without the light. However, with the light set it is as good as the daytime vision. Since buying it, I have ordered another two for indoors as well. Highly recommended!
Great camera. Our last camera (different brand) lasted just over 2 years and needed a refresh. Came across the ieGeek 2K Wireless Security Camera Outdoor Battery Powered on Amazon and loved the fact it had an external siren as well as a light strobe
on receipt of camera, it was hooked up to the home wifi within minutes and 25 mins after that, it was working, providing added security onto the drive watching over any unwanted intruders or anyone looking at our cars. Would highly recommend, for the monies, you will not be disappointed
This is the 5 th I Geek security camera I have bought and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. The camera set up is simple and I can watch my home on my mobile phone when out and about. The clarity of the picture is excellent for this type of device and the sound quality too, although I did originally have this set too low. i can take screen shots of anything I want to save. I can record too. i also receive alert messages whenever the camera is triggered. It has already captured good images of intruders in our garden, so I’m really pleased with my purchase.
The camera is not a night time IR camera so live viewing of dark areas remains fairly dark but the moment the PIR is triggered the camera switched to colour mode and lights the area. My security area is also covered by a PIR floodlight so image quality is excellent.
This camera is a great substitute to a full CCTV setup without the fuss and considerable expense. The fact that other cameras can be added to the system as and when required is a bonus and on that basis, I will be purchasing another to cover the back garden. Weatherproofing has yet to be tested in earnest but so far the camrea has stood up to the cold and windy conditions without a problem. Overall, a great buy! Addendum. I repositioned the camera slightly this afternoon and now the night time image is much clearer so it would appear that the camera does offer night time coverage!
Easy enough to set up. App seems ok however the hardware to fit it to the wall is junk.
Having installed another brand security camera I was looking for a lower cost option and boy did this full-fill my needs. Excellent movement detection and at night a brilliant LED light. I’m amazed how much this lights up the area.
When motion is detected my phone gives me an instant notification, the big plus is that if I don’t action the notification any movement is automatically backed up on the SD card. There is an option to subscribe and have cloud storage, which is a lot lower in price versus my door bell (I have a ring doorbell without cloud sub and no SD recording). I think I will subscribe, due to the low price and the additional features.
Battery life is excellent, mine has been install for 1 month and battery is at 70% there is an option to add a solar charger which I think I will purchase just for the convenience.
Looking at the other security products made by ieGeek I think I will be expanding and replacing my ring as this just works and as I said costs a lot less.

I bought because my motorcycle got stolen and I’m really surprised with the quality, I got also with the Solar panel and since them o never charged the camera. Really happy with the product and with app that mad my life easier as I can access from anywhere.
I was looking for a security camera that offers some basjc functions as we’ve moved into a new home and have 2 small children. The motion detector is great particularly the adjustable sensitivity scale and the human detection area makes it so that we don’t have every car going down the street triggering it. There are quite a few notifications coming through but I think it’s because I’ve not set my settings appropriately for the times in which I want to be alerted to movement. Easy to install, can’t speak to battery life as only had it for a couple of weeks but so far I’m very impressed. I went 1 step further and brought a small CCTV in operation sign and installed it just below the camera which has finished off the look and hopefully deter any criminal activities. Would definitely recommend!
Image quality is good, sam for color night vision, which is already a reason to buy such cameras instead of the IR night vision.
The same issue like other cameras of the same type: the PIR sensor is not active all the time, and so you almost never see the beginning of the event and you may miss completely some quick events
A quirk: sometimes when starting a recording the image is overexposed or underexposed and it takes a second or two before the automatic exposure control brings it to normal.
The only thing I would want to be better is the battery life but we are planning on buying the solar panel which would sort this out.
I would recommend this camera and we are going to buy another for the front of our property.
Update, I got a partial refund to purchase a new mount, this has solved the mounting issue so I am keeping it as it’s very easy to move around, much more simpler than wildlife camera.
Looks like my camera will have to go back as even though I have it working, I have no way to mount the camera as the mount is faulty, there is no way to position the camera apart from laying it on the floor or keeping it dangling.
