I sit with a laptop – on my lap most of the day. My Microsoft Surface Pro is very slippery so another solution was needed: the viozon Laptop Mount. It works for me. Typing this on my laptop in the mount.
Of course it bounces about a bit. If you are expecting a swivel table then you are likely to be disappointed. However, I’m able to put the full weight of my arms/hands on the laptop and it doesn’t slide further down. In fact to fold it away takes a bit of effort.
It is nice. I had very little side space on my desk, but even so, I managed to mount this laptop stand on.
This is expensive compared to the budget trays on monitor arms but the difference is night & day and worth the extra investment.
It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, has an arm with 3 separately positionable sections (which is useful if cramming it in around other equipment) and most significant, the gas powered up & down section is a joy to use.
It handles a big, heavy laptop and stays in place when typing directly on it.
At the same time it’s easy to adjust.
The laptop is held firm by spring clamps (which are easy to open & close) which is another bonus over cheaper trays which rely only on a lip at the front to stop a laptop falling.
It’s great!
I have two external monitors at home but wanted this so that I can prop my work laptop by my side and have notifications running while I use my home PC then switch my two screens, keyboard and mouse from home PC to laptop using a KVM switch. My requirements form this stand were very low; keep my desk clear and let me move my work laptop in and out seamlessly.
So far the stand has met my expectations but it does have two flaws, the first is the laptop clamp cannot be moved and gets in the way of my usb C connection (picture above) and second is the very well documented tilt on the laptop (laptop sits at ~10 degrees tilt and there only thing you can do is counter weight it). As the tilt is already well documented in the review section I have refrained from taking a picture with a spirit level attached.
This mount is great if you have a smaller desk or working area. You can lift your laptop up and save space below it. Also very useful if you use multiple monitors and use your laptop as a webcam, since you can move it around and pose it whatever way suits. Really useful.
Bought to house my laptop on my desk alongside my desktop computer it was easy to install and feels quite sturdy only gave four stars for sturdiness as I feel it has a little bounce but it could be me expecting it to be as sturdy as a desk which it’s no supposed to be, I have recommended to two friends who also purchased it.
I wanted a stand to hold my laptop next to my monitor and this arm has both a laptop holder and a monitor adapter. The stand is easy to get together but it was difficult to get the tension right on the arm / spring; this was probably my fault because I was quite careful with it and it needed a bit more force to move the arm into place than I expected. Now my laptop sits neatly next to my monitor and I use at in a sort of dual display mode. The arm is very flexible and I can move it to exactly the point I want and it stays in that place. When I remove my laptop the lack of weight does mean the arm raises but this isn’t a problem to me, if you had a monitor on it then this wouldn’t happen. The holder for my 15″ laptop is great and it feels securely held. Very happy with this and it is alot cheaper than many monitor arms and has the added laptop holder attachme
It is quite heavy for the size, holds my 17″ Laptop, just. Does what it should…
I am very impressed with this combination laptop/monitor stand.
The stand itself is of very high quality. It is well finished and the plastic parts are of a high quality and well finished.
The installation instructions were very good and installation of the stand was a breeze.
This stand differs from other stands in that the base mount can a accommodate the supporting arm at varying heights. This makes it especially easy to adjust the height of the monitor. In contrast, other similar monitor stands don’t have the same adjustable height, so their height is controlled more by their installation position. This adjustment means that you can place the base mount where you want. The downside to this is that the mounting pole does take up some room, so in some cases, it may restrict how far you can push back a monitor.
In general, this shouldn’t be an issue unless you want the monitors pushed back as far as possible (in my case, I like them to be as far back as possible to maximise desk space). However, the ability to exactly position the stand without having to adjust a combination of base plate location and angle of the mounting arm really makes up for this.
This stand is supplied with all necessary parts for mounting a monitor, including a VESA stand that can support either 75 mm spacing or 100 mm spacing. Screws are supplied for both hole types as well as the requisite Allen keys and combination Allen key/screwdriver. A roll of cable tie (high quality, though branded) is also included.
The laptop tray is also high quality and easily supports a laptop. It is also equipped with non-slip surfaces. The holding brackets are extendable, so different lengths of laptop can be easily accommodated.
Do note that you can either use the laptop stand or the VESA monitor bracket with this stand. You cannot use both. I have elected to use it for another monitor, but the laptop stand part is useful as I may change my mind and use it for a laptop or oscilloscope instead.
I can thoroughly recommend this stand.
I use my laptop in a recliner chair and being a Dell XPS15 with the core i9 cpu it tends to get very warm on my legs.
The articulation of this stand is such that it can be set to a perfect position for me.
It took 10 minutes to assemble and setup and is really solid and of excellent quality. My laptop is no lightweight but is secure and rigidly held for typing without bouncing around.
It is worth taking the time to fine tune the gas arm to achieve fingertip control of the laptop position. I fixed it to a substantial side table and the whole thing is rock solid.
This is by far the best laptop stand I’ve ever used.

I uses this as a space saver in my workspace at home. it is of excellent quality and supports my 17″ heavy laptop really well. easy to assemble. can be moved to many angles and still hold strong with no wobble.
Great device sturdy well made with multiple angles of use. Comes with a download able QR code which contains a video of how to assemble. Also comes with a year’s warranty had a bit of trouble activating via QR code as it wouldn’t accept my order number but after contacting customer service via email the problem was resolved.
I use this monitor/laptop mount to free up some space on my small desk which I use to work from home.
The mount seems to be of a good build quality and is easy to operate.
For me the most useful in this mount is the ability to use my laptop while standing. Sometimes virtual meetings go on for hours and it is very easy then to adjust it for the standing position which helps my back a lot.
The clamp holds well on my solid oak desk and everything feels secure when I move it.
My laptop is 15.6 inch size, but it is frame less, so it is equivalent in size to a 14 inch size regular laptop. It fits the holder well and I feel confident that it wouldn’t fall out of it.
It is quite a pricey mount, but the quality is good and the gas spring makes using it a pleasure.
I have a 17 inch size laptop, but there is no way I could use it with this mount. I don’t know why they advertise it as suitable for up to 17 inch size laptops. I think the holder should be definitely improved for that.
Overall a solid 4* product.

Depending on is you already have a hole in the surface or desk where your going to attach this or you can just use the clamp and stick it to any surface between 1.5cm n 6cm thickness. I’ve added how to install below, but it was pretty much straight forward. If like me you will need to adjust the tention with a allen key.
Its now freed up alot of space and able to work sitting or standing now, which is a bonus because I was getting a numb bum from sitting working all the time lol.
I’m able to position it exactly where you want and tilt it to the angle so win win.
Only adaption I added was that on the back of the laptop I had self adhesive Velcro, so I got the other side on this stand just for double protection and pieace of mind that I know it’s not going anywhere when on the stand. That just probably me being over protective, but I’d rather that than a broken laptop or foot if it fell on it lol.

A great quality well made stand. Arrived well packaged and on time. Is easy to assemble and looks great once it is. Supports the laptop well. Would recommend, nice piece of kit.

If it’s so good why only four stars? I feel it’s a pretty expensive item, and some may want it, but will be unable to afford the cost.
This is certainly good for saving desk space, I’m using it to hold my laptop on my vinyl cutting station and so far it’s been fine it’s well made and holds my laptop without feeling sketchy like some, the gas sprung arm feels nice and I can pretty much have it in the perfect position, price is maybe a little high but it is a quality item, all in all, 4 stars from me.
