Next the sound quality is fantastic. Very good highs, midrange and bass. The earphones fit snugly in the ear and are very comfortable. Included are a few extra different sized ear gels but haven’t needed to change them, but are available if your ear holes are smaller/larger than the gels already attached. I have used the ear buds while commuting and inside the gym (cardio and machines) and they haven’t fallen out once. I haven’t had any issues with the ear buds disconnecting from the phone either in any scenario.
The buds go into a small charging case and fall into place via magnets. The case is small enough that it is convenient to carry around in your pocket. The app allows you see battery percentage and they seem to hold a lot of charge, the buds themselves can last up to 7hours, far better than previous buds I’ve used. The case also uses USB-C rather than the dated Micro USB.
The earphones are very feature rich. They include the latest Bluetooth technology which allows you to connect to two devices at once, I have them connected to my phone for music/calls and to my laptop for Teams meetings. A single physical button on each ear bud allows you control over your phone, like skipping tracks, answering calls and lowering/increasing sound volume. The physical button are much better than touch controls I’ve used on previous Bluetooth earphones. One of my favourite features ‘HearThrough’ allows you to hear what is going on around you, without needing to take a bud out, great for when you need to be aware of your surroundings. Your music will pause if you take a bud out which is useful as well.
Finally, there is a very good optional app (I’d definitely recommend downloading it) available that lets you customize button functionality, equalizer and so on. Although this item is on the higher end of the price bracket, I’d definitely recommend them. Altogether they are great little ear buds.
Buen ajuste en el odo, no se caen al caminar o correr lento, se escuchan perfectamente, y con el test de audicin de la aplicacin el resultado es ptimo. Buena compra aunque no barata.
Jabra has decided to fix the issue i had initial problem with using software update.Also got my second pair at black friday sale for much better price so overall happy.
I wish i did read before buying.
How can someone sell earbuds worth 189 knowing there is an common issue?!
Used them for 3 days , amazing i taught. Than all the sudden left earpiece started to drop out & started to develop annoying crackling noise.
Did bit of googling and it seems to be problem across the range.
Shame , cause if this was not the issue these would be by far the best earphones i have had.
Refunded
I also love that I can use just one which will come in handy on walks with my baby in his push chair as I like to be able to respond to the little noises he makes.
They also stay in place very well when going for a walk or doing physical activities. I use them for phone calls quite a bit and they work well. The only issue in this regard is I need to adjust the volume on the phone rather than on the earphones themselves
So in summary, no problems and very satisfied with my purchase – would recommend!!
Overall they’ve been really great. Sound quality for me has been mostly fantastic. On calls, voices have always come through clearly though a couple of people on the other end have said it picks up background noise very loudly.
I’ve paired the buds with my work laptop and also use it daily for all my meetings (a quick charge at lunchtime usually gets me through a workday). Sound quality here has been excellent.
In general, streaming music with them has been excellent, though I couldn’t use the “HearThrough” feature while cycling – the wind noise it picks up drowns out all other sound from them.
Watching movies with them has been where I have had a less than fantastic experience. At times the audio became a bit tinny, and while I can’t say if it was down to the device i was connected to or the earbuds themselves, the problem went away by putting the earbuds back in the case for a minute or so and then carrying on.
Another minor drawback is that you can’t use the left earbud independently of the right (the right can be used on it’s own though). Hopefully this is something that Jabra will enable with a future software update.
Pairing is quick and easy in all cases, though I would have liked better identification of the type of device connected rather than a simple “one/two devices connected”.
Both the earbuds and the case feel really solid. the earbuds are held in place magnetically while in the case and the lid has a magnetic closure as well.
This is a really awesome set of earbuds, I’d definitely recommend them.
After having recently owned a pair of over-ear Jabra headphones I was excited to try these in-ear Elite 75t Active, and I was not disappointed!
These have great soud quality, everything about these feels and delivers quality. From the case, the sound, the pairing with the app. Very impressive! The noise cancellation for in-ear headphones was just outstanding, blocking out the noise of the treadmill and generic gym noise.
These are comfortable and perfect for when you are working out, commutting or just out and about. The battery life is very impressive, last days and days for me as I used them for a couple of hours a day. Overall, very impressed, great quality, would definitely recommend 🙂
Pro’s: lightweight and petite: they don’t feel like rocks in your ears that keep threatening to sag your years and they don’t stand out too much from the ear canal and hence offers a nice balance between weight and size. sound:for the size they certainly pack decent sound.They aren’t the best sounding headphones out there but they sound damn good. no distortion at higher volumes which is usually a caveat of small packages.decent bass and mids. it is a joy to listen so much so i’ve switched to them as my daily drivers. noise cancellation and isolation:most of this depends on how well the rubber tips fit in your ears as well obviously the noise cancellation setup. i can say this passes with flying colors. i use this while walking my dog daily and i have never been bothered with the sound of construction that goes on on my walking route battery life:these are a battery monsters and hard to kill after my usage pattern. comfortably lasts 2 weeks based on my usage. call quality: the 4 mic system works wonderfully well and this is where the Jabra truly shines and where they are most renowned for. Crystal clear sound, even when i speak through a mask and no wind noise. Beautiful. just for this features they are worth it, makes all my other sets sound like trash Features and app: things like the Heart through which allows you to interact with your surroundings adds that bit extra to the value and the app is simple to use
Con’s: good as they are they arent without their flaws Wireless charging: for this price they arent by default and we need to pay extra for this which is ludicrous. Price: definitely on the higher side and it can be a tough sell for those on tighter budget when other brands offer similar features for a lower cos
not so good: -randomly loses its signal, the app does not always recognise the headset.
My previous 65t were overworked , so I took the jump to the new 75t version and havent been disappointed. While I’m not keen on the copper finish, the sound quality is fantastic, with a extremely comfortable fit. The amazon exclusive copper version was also a steal at the time of purchase, over 20 cheaper compared to the other versions.
I regularly used them at the gym, and they provide great sound isolation and sound quality. I did struggle initially with them falling out on extreme runs or jogs, but once o changed the gel plugs provided for memory foam ones from a different supplier, I had absolutely no problems.
Just don’t accidentally run over them like my partner did … their not designed enough to withstand that, nor should they be ! 🙂
After that is dealt with, I have to say that these are brilliant.
The packaging first of all is well thought out. Nothing that you have to cut your hands trying to open and all logical. You’ll find the case, the earphones, USB-C charging cable (woohoo!), and a pair of large and small ear pieces if the medium ones fitted to the earphones don’t suit you.
The experience of setup is straight forward. Just follow the instructions. The one negative for me during setup was the firmware upgrade. I couldn’t find anything that tells you if the firmware upgrade is over or not, you kind of have to guess.
In my initial testing there were some disconnections from my phone, but I think it was due to the buds not being correctly seated in my ear and them auto-stopping the audio. Once I had them seated correctly, I haven’t experienced this again.
I love these, but can’t say they’re perfect, hence the 4 stars.
The Jabra Elite Active 75′ sound better out of the box and that’s before you tune them to your own sound they’re also comfortable and stay in when working out! The Jabra’s also have zero lag with youtube / Netflix app’s which was one of my prime concerns
It was slightly awkward to get them out of the packaging but then everything afterwards was a breeze. I tried them in my ear and found the attached ear protector was slightly too big, and so I swapped it with one of the other sizes provided and I was good to go.
Downloading the sound + app and then setting up MySound was easy. I have to say I am very impressed with the sound quality of these headphones, they fit really well and the tone and base are very good. I’ve been for countless runs with them in and they stay in place. Although they don’t have active noise cancellation, you wouldn’t know as they block out any passive noise with ease. They also have a hearthrough mode which is easily activated with a tap in case you do want to hear your surroundings. Overall I would give these headphones 5/5 and am looking forward to continuting to use them.
Very well packed and exciting in boxing, simple and easy to connect out of the box.
Starting with the sound quality, great bass and clear sound. A very immersive experience and greatly customisable to your personal preference via the Jabra+ App. The secure fit and pink noise function does take away the background noise and you have a hear through option incase you want to be more aware of your surroundings.
The ergonomic design if the ear bud with the silicone tips make it a great comfortable and secure fit. Great for a good run and workout or picking up calls while working from home.
Not only is it great for music but also amazing for clear and crisp calls, the 4 MEMS mic work great. The only challenge for some to choose will be if the prefer mic on both ear buds.
Fit: I initially wore them with the preinstalled buds but these were too large and the fit didn’t feel secure. Swapped them for the smaller size and the difference was immense. Fit nicely and was no longer worried about then falling out.
Controls/App: Very user friendly and intuitive controls, easy to learn. The App is functional enough, shows battery level of case and buds but don’t really get the Moments function.
Battery: Speaking of battery, I’m impressed. Between the buds themselves and the nifty charging case, you can get DAYS out of them depending on use. Buds and case were both fully charged on the 28th of July @12:30pm. This charge lasted until mid afternoon on the 6th of August. I use the buds daily for watching YouTube, listening to music , audio books and hosting webinars for work. The buds are kept in the case when not in use to keep the charge topped up and also so I don’t lose these tiny things!
Features: These block out way more noise than my previous earphones and the hearthrough feature is pretty handy to let in a bit more outside noise, e.g. the doorbell ringing which you would most likely miss if you had hearthrough turned off. Taking one of the buds out of your ear pauses playback of what ever you are watching/listening to, this can be turned off if you prefer.
Sound: If you are not a big fan of bass, you may not like these. I love bass so I love the sound of these buds. For now I’m rating them a 4 rather than a 5 (It would be 4.5 if I could give that) because there is a tinny echo in the left ear when I listen to some speech (webinars, YouTube etc).
Final Thoughts: I’m really impressed with the Jabra Elite 75ts. I love the compact design, the handy features, long battery life and fit.
I’m a keen runner and HIIT class fan so I need something that is easy to control on the move and stay secure in my ear. My first impression was how good the sound was and, given it’s not technically noise cancelling, it’s impressive how little outside noise can be heard when they’re in your ears, which in turn makes the sound quality fantastic.
I’ve been listening to a lot of James Blake and it’s a pleasure listening on these headphones; the bass is heavy, and the mid/treble also super clear, plus the EQ is customisable through the app. I’ve also used them every day for two weeks now and haven’t had to charge (including daily commute of over an hour and a 1 hour workout each day). The controls are pretty intuitive, though having to hold the left/right earbud for volume means I often end up turning it up or down too much as I’m unsure when to let go, but this is a minor issue really (UPDATE: once you get used to it, it’s fine). I’ve been on a number of runs and sweaty HIIT class sessions for over a month now and they stay nice and secure in all but the most sweaty workouts when they occasionally slip, though this is only when do particularly vigorous moves (leaps or burpees). It would be useful if you could purchase an over-ear add-on for added stability.
The call quality is good and the recipient has confirmed they can hear me nice and clearly (the mic picks up the wind quite a lot).
Its comparisons with the Jabra Elite 65t Active:
The ear buds are smaller so they stay more securely in the ear, which is a major plus. The case is a far better design ( it sits up independently) the magnets that secure the 75t in the case make a lot more sense (and feel higher quality) and the auto on/off when you take it out/put it in the case is more intuitive than having to turn them off before putting in the case as per the 65t. I prefer the volume controls on the 65t, as it’s simply left/right side of the left earbud which means you know exactly how much you’re turning the volume up and down.
All in all these are really high quality ear buds that deliver in all departments, the only drawbacks being they occasionally fall out during very sweaty workouts and they don’t pair with laptops for video conferencing calls but this is by no means a deal breaker.
Battery life is also great, I finally had to charge it for the first time after about 2 and a half weeks or frequent use!
The case is noticeably smaller than my previous Jabra Elite 65, feels better in the pocket and also unlike the previous version is sensibly flat at the bottom so sits up nicely on a table. It has a pleasant, almost soft touch coating and also has introduced a nice magnectic effect so the earbuds are pulled neatly into their holding slot. It’s a small thing but one I really appreciated in comparison. Battery life has been excellent so far with both the ear buds and case lasting so long that I lost track of when I last charged the case up.
My main interest was the added protection to use while running and at the Gym given weather in the UK is inclement at best and post Covid all my workouts are outside. So far I’ve been really impressed. The earbuds fit snugly and feel more secure than my older pair. I haven’t felt at risk of losing any on any of the 4 or 5 runs to date. Ergonomically they fit very nicely – they are secure, comfortable for extended wear and I liked the new smaller form factor. My earbuds in Navy Blue were smart but reasonably unobtrusive when worn. I’ve worn them for up to ~3 hours at a time and didn’t experience any comfort issues.
Sound quality wise I’m very happy but admit to not being an audiophile so don’t have especially picky demands. For my typical uses of Spotify while running / working out, Youtube & Twitch sessions and sporadic conference calls they worked perfectly. One small reservation being they are not incredibly loud. No worries for me personally but they won’t reach ear bleed levels!
Finally they have also remedied my own personal bugbear with my Jabra Elite 65’s which would not pair to my phone and Ipad without being “reset” as a bluetooth device everytime. My Elite 75 Active’s have connected flawlessly to my phone and ipad without any faffing about.
1 – Call me vain, but the in-ear profile is very important to me. Of all the buds I’ve tried the 75t definitely have the least obvious profile. Also, as I sometimes wear these in bed (crazy I know, but nothing like a podcast to get you to sleep sometimes), the slim profile helps for comfort.
2 – The durability. the 75t’s are waterproof, sweatproof and workout-proof. Massively important to me as I work out every day. Whilst they wouldn’t quite stay in for a HIIT class, they’re super-secure for a run, even if sweating heavily. The durability also comes into play to help toddler proof the 75t’s! (My little one is forever throwing these, putting them in his mouth, etc…). The magnets that lock the earbuds into place are also a nice feature here, as it’s usually so easy to drop & damage your buds.
3 – Battery-life. Getting close to 8 hours is a game-changer. Even if I leave early for a long day at the office, and wear my buds all day, I can get through the day without needing to recharge.
That’s without even mentioning the sound quality, which is superb and the functionality, which is very well-considered… But all in all a real quality piece of equipment, worth the price tag and better than any buds I’ve had previously.
Thoroughly recommend.
What’s more is I can play my fav music when I need to zone out the rest of work without disturbing my colleagues and listen to deep base and great full range audio quality.
What I’ve also love is that these are great for long walks and cycle rides too. The hear thru function useful of country lanes when you need to be aware of cars coming up behind you.
Personally I’d love two clicks more on the volume levels, but maybe that’s telling me I’ve got a potential hearing issue or something!
No complaints. Just wish my iPhone battery would last as long as the battery on these wireless ear buds between charges!
The initial packaging was much smaller than the previous model and the overall size of the charging case and earbuds were much smaller providing better portability.
The sound quality was great as usual from Jabra however what stood out was the intense bass produced by the drivers in the earbuds. It is a top flagship in comparison to the many other true wireless earbuds in the market right now.
The connectivity is amazingly quick and the Sound+ app provides many different custom functions such as button remapping and a sound equaliser.
The only negative which I experienced with it is that it does struggle at times with the connectivity of the left earbud or does not switch on and it needs to be done manually by holding it down.
Overall I highly recommend and in my honest opinion, it is the best true wireless earbud in the market at the moment.
At first I was overwhelmed by the thunderous bass. They do sound great and I’ve read that this settles down after a few hours of use. I’ll update if this happens.
They fit like a glove and don’t move when running. Although I find myself aware of the noise of my breathing and running steps if not turned up past half way.
There are 4 customisable options per ear which is useful such as repeat track. The hear though works well.
I’ve had not drop out issues on trail runs.
The app is a little basic.
I’m very happy with them only real
Issue is the left one is the slave so you can’t just put that one in nothing major really.
Great product I would definitely recommend
Elite by name, elite by nature but also with cost. You are buying a premium set of headphones and you get a premium sound. I have had no issue with sound quality, and you can alter it via an app. The tone is rich, and base led. Previous in-ear headphones have proven a little uncomfortable for me, but these have fitted well and stay in. I am not one for being too sporty, but they last a brisk walk into work and back daily.
The sound cancelling is not as full as my over ear headphones, but if you are not blasting Techno on the bus you will be acceptable. What I like most is just the quality. The quality of sound, the quality of the product itself. You are paying a premium for these earphones, but you are getting that back in quality. I would think they suit someone who likes long runs and listening to music. That person will enjoy the sound but also the reassurance that they will stay in ear.
Getting used to the comfort aspect was hard, but once you twist them in correctly, they’re exceptionally comfy for extended periods.
PLUS POINTS
* Comfortable & secure in-ear fit
* Excellent clarity and dynamic range.
* Well balanced bass – has authority yet avoids any annoying boominess
* The charging case is good
* Good battery life
* Can be use stereo or mono (just the right hand bud)
* Compatible with voice assist (I find Google Assistant the best)
* HearThrough feature very useful for person-to-person conversations
* Great microphones deliver clear & easy telephone conversations
* The JabraSound+ app is good – makes customisation easy
MINUS POINTS
* No active noise cancellation – just passive.
As you can see, the list of plus points far outweighs the lack of active noise cancellation. Truth is, the silicone ear gels fit so snugly inside my ear canal that most external noise is blocked anyway. This is why the HearThrough function is so very useful. Instead of having to remove the bud if someone speaks to me I simply need to press the left hand button, and the microphones relay their voice to me, making the buds acoustically transparent. The HearThrough volume can even be adjusted in the app, as can sidetone volume (the volume of your own voice, fed back into your ear to assist you in not shouting needlessly whilst making calls)
SINGLE BUD USE
There are times when I want to listen to something, yet remain aware of my surroundings. Yesterday was a perfect example. I was in a hospital waiting room, listening to an audio book to while away the time, but needing to hear instantly if my name was called. Not a problem – I used my buds in mono mode, wearing just the right side.
EASE OF USE
The charging case is a brilliant thing, and tops up the charge of your buds whenever they are placed inside. I especially like the auto switching feature that turns the buds on when you remove them from the case and turns them back off again when you put them back. Simple things like that make these buds a joy to use. Each bud has one large multi function button to control them, per the easy to learn instructions.
SOUND QUALITY
These are the best sounding wireless buds that I’ve auditioned, to date. I own some very expensive phones and hifi equipment, so I know what high fidelity sound is. The 75t’s are impressive, given their price range and physical size. I found that my 75t’s achieved their best sound after a couple of weeks burn-in. The tonal balance is very good, with a crisp and punchy sound output that remains controlled across the frequency range. Too often nowadays I find that earphones have a horrid overblown and distorted bass, but these do not. It’s authoritative and satisfying without going overboard. Volume goes as high as you’d want, without damaging your ear drums. I find I can happily listen to these buds for long periods without getting a headache – a common complaint with cheaper phones that over-do the high end treble.
CONCLUSION
With their high IP57 rating and secure fit, these buds are superb for using at the gym, or whilst exercising. They’re also just as good whilst commuting or relaxing in the garden, of course. My pair lives in my jacket pocket, and goes out whenever I do. Open the box, pop them in your ear, and you’re in another world. No faff, just great sound. That’s the overall impression that these earbuds give me. I like them a lot.
If this has been useful I’d be hugely grateful if you could let me know, by hitting the button below. Many thanks 🙂
La batteria ok dura tanto. ho provate quasi tutte le Marche li auricolari jabra numero uno
they fit well in my ears and dont fall out when I move which is great ( there are diffent ear size add ons included)
they sound awesome
the last for hours on a single charge and have a great small sized charging box that fits in your pocket
they pair super easily to whatever you need them to
and teh in ear controls are super simple to use
cons?
none, if you want high quality sound then these are for you. If you think they are expensive, well they are but after trying them against my other headphones in teh 50, to 100 range the differnce was like night and day. Well worth every penny in my opinio
So, I was quite excited to get a hold of these headphones. I was pleased the case was smaller and the earphones also. But I found the fit just wasn’t quite right. When running or working out – I found myself pushing them back into position a number of times, as they didn’t feel secure. I tried different sized pads with no avail. So, in the end I had to send them back. I guess everyone’s ears are a slightly different shape and these don’t quite suit mine?
Me parecen unos auriculares espectaculares. Tienen una calidad de sonido muy buena y cuando hago ejercicio no se mueven nada. Tena mis dudas porque algunas personas se quejaban de micro cortes. Los mos no tienen ese problema. Muy contento con la compra
These are far superior in every way to 65t.
They are smaller and lighter but have a fantastic battery life compared to the previous 65t’s.
They also fit snug tin to charger case with magnets making sure the align correctly to charge- this was an issue with the 65t.
The charger case is more compact too.
A fantastic feature I didn’t have previously is on the app the actual charge held by the case is shown together with the power of the earbuds- brilliant when you know your out for the day/ weekend.
Don’t hesitate buy these- they fit perfectly too and I often forget I have them in when I’ve paused a podcast for something
Trs bon son surtout au niveau des basses. La fonction hearthrough est top ! Aprs avoir choisi la bonne taille d’adaptateur, a tient parfaitement !
Facts
You get the Jabra 75t elite headphones (grey blue), a carrying and charging case (blue), a usb c to usb cable and some ear gels to change into depending on the size of your inner ear and the level of comfort and fit you’re after.
Pros:
1) the headphones are light and have little magnets that allows them to stay together so you don’t lose them;
2) the carrying/charging case is small, very light and has the necessary light to show you when it’s charging the headphones, when it needs to be plugged in, etc;
3) the headphones have noise cancellation as an option. Once worn, you can turn the noise cancellation on or off by pressing the left headphone once and there will be a voice prompt conforming it’s on or off respectively; does it work? YES, I found that with the noise cancellation on, I could work without being distracted in a loud office and it cancelled out 95% of the noise in the gym (the squeak from the oldish cross-trainer could still be faintly heard);
4) the Bluetooth connection is stable and it rarely drops; the headphones have a handy feature that when one is removed, the other one stops working automatically until you actively turn the single one on (more of this later in the cons too); so, for example, if one is out of juice, the other can still be used independently;
5) the accompanying app (Jabra+) is great; once set up, which is super easy to do, and the headphones are out of the carrying case and turned on, you can monitor the charge of each headphone separately and that of the charging case, so you can start charging either; you can also set sound profiles and much more;
6) the quality of the sound is very good; I’ve listened to music, radio, I’ve streamed movies and I’ve even made calls on them; all of them were superb;
7) the working time for the headphones is superb; I think they can easily go for around 8 hours continuous use; I think my longest was something like 6 continuous hours and they still had juice left!
8) the headphones do stay on; if one chooses the right size and adjusts the ear gels, then they do stay on; I’ve been wearing them on the cross-trainer and I had no problem whatsoever;
Cons:
1) more recently, the left headphone stopped charging; I was really baffled because I put it in the case correctly (or so I thought) and after showing me that it was charging, I took them both out after an hour or so to find out through the app and when wearing them that the left headphone was not charged! Upon experimenting, I’ve found that the headphones are very sensitive to the positioning in the case; you have to make very sure they are touching the right parts of the case (you actually get an intermittent light signal when each does) for each headphone to start charging; I thought I had done that, but it worked out that I had not; it is now working fully, but for a couple of days I was really frustrated and felt like writing to the company; I am monitoring this situation, but I’m happy to report that it is working now;
2) (this has only happened once) when too sweaty, I found once that the sweat managed to get into the left headphone and had a little scrambled sound come from it; I stopped using them and let both of them dry; it was on after that and I have never had that again, but I’m guessing they are sensitive to water and sweat, so please take of them!
All in all, I like them and have been using them quite a lot. I feel they have replaced all my other headphones and the feeling of freedom from wires etc you get from them is certainly worth the price!
I was skeptical of wearing earbuds without the little wings which my last bose headphones had but these little buds are great, no movement whatsoever. Operating the buttons whilst running was fine, skipping songs and changing the volume without any issues. The natural noise cancelling is very effective and the pass through which allows in all the outside noise works great too. I love the look of these, unlike other sporty heasdphones, these in no way look out of place in the office and ive used them on lots of video conference calls. The ability to link these to my phone and laptop simultaneously is an excellent feature.
I feel like i should balance out this review with some cons.. well they are expensive, i really had to do alot of thinking before parting with what I think is a fair amount of money but for the features and build quality I honestly think they’re worth it. I had bought some jaybird vistas but cancelled the order after looking at these, the vistas wing tips nearly convinced me but im so glad i went for these.
The was an update available for the earbuds when I first used them, and that installed easily — once downloaded it was just a case of allowing them around 10 minutes to finish the installation with the buds back in their storage case. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the standard silicon eargels fit me perfectly in both ears as I’d normally have to switch to other sizes. They’re great at staying in position too, and I’ve been wearing them for hours at a time with no slippage. I can only say that battery life is excellent as they’ve never run flat on me; they recharge when they’re back in the case and a light flashes to indicate charging.
A physical button-press rather than a casual touch which makes all the difference when it comes to usability. The controls are also fairly intuitive and within a short time of starting to use them I was comfortably making calls, adjusting the sound and skipping tracks using just the earbuds. I can’t fault the sound quality, particularly when adjusted in the Jabra app; I can get it sounding exactly how I like it, and with plenty of depth, detail and clarity.
The hear-through function is easily switched on/off and I find it very effective. With it enabled I can leave my earbuds in place, and even have music playing whilst still having a normal conversation. It’s a bit of a shock to other people sometimes that you can still hear them speaking when they can see you’re wearing earbuds but it does save having to remove them unless you want to.
Is there anything that I’d change? Well, normally I’ll be able to identify something which I’d like to be different on a product but I’m struggling to find anything that I really don’t like about these. They are far from being the cheapest set that you can buy so maybe that’s what I’d say, but based on my experience of these compared with other brands I can only say that they’re worth it.
The sound quality is amazing. The bass takes a while to get used to but becomes very enjoyable. Other than that the app allows you to customise the sound to your liking. The app is sleek and intuitive – Android.
The case is also conveniently small and these fit easily in the pocket. The buds are super comfortable to wear to as well as secure; after a while you don’t even notice they’re there.
Don’t forget to register through the app to activate your warranty.
However, I do not feel qualified enough to provide the best and relevant opinion so I borrowed these to my musician colleague who told me that in his opinion these earbuds sounded excellent, it reminded him of a pair of headphones from the likes of Bose, Sennheiser, Sony, etc. but not as powerful of course and he was very pleased with the acoustic range and the very good equalizer.
The battery life is excellent, at 7.5 hours of playtime these should last you a day of use, but if not enough they have quick charging that gets you an hour of playtime in 15 minutes and the case has additional 21 hours of charge which should be plenty for few days.
The app is very sleek and easy to use, the equalizer is easy to get to and the profiles are very nice to have as you can easily save them and switch between them when necessary. The noise-cancelling feature works very well as the silicone tips create an excellent seal but at the expense of hearing yourself breathe which can be unsettling. The hear-through feature is very useful in the office, or out in the streets as it gives you awareness of your surroundings.
The only issues I have with these earbuds are the connectivity issues when you unlock the phone or one earbud disconnects from the other, and the earbud design which is not the most comfortable. The connectivity issue is a bit annoying since the buds seem to disconnect randomly when you take one out of the ear or when you unlock the phone, could be Bluetooth problem, however, they, as well as my phone, do support the version 5.0 which is the latest version that is much more stable. The design is good but not excellent, I personally prefer Airpod style of earbuds and not the silicone tipped ones as they just fit the ear more securely, these Jabra earbuds tend to slip with time and you have to readjust them and after a few hours, my ears start to hurt.
Overall, I find these earbuds excellent and would recommend them wholeheartedly, they sound amazing and the product is very polished except for the connectivity issues and the design.
They are comfortable to wear (there are 3 different size options to the rubber plugs), are water and dust resistant, have a decent battery life, and I have not experienced any connection issues (something that has been the major issue on cheaper headphones I have tried).
The companion app is pretty solid, and allows me to adjust the equalizer, so that helped me adjust the sound to what i wanted (reduced the bass a little). Microphone was fine as well when I was taking calls, people seemed to hear me just fine.
Even little things like the size of the case is good, and the fact it accepts usb-c to charge the case is great.
Overall, just a great set of earphones.
Design & Fitment
For wireless earbuds I think they look great and in my opinion the copper in the centre gives them a more stylish look rather than being the same colour all over. Every aspect of them looks and feels premium, even the button press clicks and small led indicator lights in each earpiece. I love the case as well, it’s such a nice compact size and there’s a certain quality about it that like the earbuds gives it a premium look and feel. The hinge on the case works great and the magnet in the lid holds it firmly in place when closed, even when shaken.
The fitment of these earbuds is excellent, and they really do stay in place even when your active, as the name suggests. I’ve used them everyday since I’ve had them for both running and cycling and apart from a few minor adjustments I’ve not had any comfort issues with them nor have they fallen out. You can really feel the suction of them when you go to take them out and I’ve not had a pair of wireless earbuds fit as good as these do, I’m very happy with this aspect.
Performance & Sound
The sound quality is my favourite part of them as they are excellent for wireless earbuds and I’ve finally found a pair that go to a decent maximum volume which has always frustrated me with other wireless buds. The bass is also very impressive, and it really surprised me how deep and clear it is even when listening to bass heavy music. I didn’t use the app straight away but with it you can increase the bass even more and it actually does just that, I was over the moon with them to begin with before I even tried the equaliser out and there was still no distortion even on max volume when listening to artists like The Weekend!
Call quality is another area where they exceed and not one person I have spoken to using them could tell I wasn’t using my phones microphone and if anything the call quality for both parties have been better than ever and I can hear everyone very clearly, the louder max volume of them also helps with this when in noisy areas. Calls can be easily answered, ended, muted and the volume adjusted using single or multiple taps on the copper earbud buttons. The voice assistant integration works great and you can choose which assistant you prefer to use.
Another feature I like is the HearThrough mode which allows you to hear your surroundings and own voice with the earbuds in as they do a great job of isolating external noise without the mode turned on. This can be enabled by pressing the left ear bud once or by using the app which can also adjust the loudness of this mode. A similar feature called Sidetone exists for when you take calls and the loudness can also be adjusted using the app and both modes can be on/off at the same time or a combination depending on your preferences.
Battery life seems to be very good, with me using them for around 2 hours each time I go out and them having approx. 65% battery left in them depending on the volume level I choose. The case charges by USB Type C and can provide around four full charges to the earbuds so in theory you could potentially get more than 30 hours out of them in-between case charges which could then be extended even more by using an external battery pack if your travelling.
Connectivity and Sound+ App
Before I even downloaded the app I had already paired them with my Galaxy S10+ with no issues but if you want full functionality and the ability to update the firmware then you will need the app. Thankfully the app is excellent, very well designed and easy to use. There is a decent amount of options and settings available so you can configure your earbuds exactly how you like them, and it has some very useful guides and manuals built in to help you maximise your use of them. The app works flawlessly, and I’ve already had a firmware update which just requires you to place the earbuds back in the case for 5 mins or so until the purple light on it stops flashing. Thank you for making such a pleasant app to use!
Conclusion
Overall, I think these are brilliant and at this current moment they are my favourite wireless earbuds so far. Yes, they are expensive so you would hope they’d be brilliant but these really are and the experience from start to finish has been first class in everything from the packaging, earbuds, case, and app; I’ve not been let down in one area. For all the above reasons I’m more than happy to recommend this product and I feel they really do deserve the five stars!
Sound quality is GREAT. Compared to my Alexa buds – there is no comparison.
Comfort, very comfortable and no need for additional rubber attachments like other devices.
Throughout the day I’ve had them connected up to 3 devices at a time; a laptop, ipad 2 and an android device. Its handled the transition of audio from one device to another really well.
The sound quality for calls – listening and speaking has been clear. Also great for music listening, blogs, podcasts.
For working out – surprisingly they have stayed in, I had to change the earbuds to fit my ear. You have to kind of insert and twist to get them to sit in the ear properly, once you do, they tend to stay in. The only thing, as per all ear phones – my ears ache after a couple of hours but this is expected after 3-4 hours of straight usuage.
The battery life has also performed as expected.
I also like to ” hear through” feature.
Overall I am happy with this product.
Long battery life
Comfortable fitting earbuds, several sized included
Easy to control using buttons
I’ve never really rated Jabra as a high end audio company, i know they have some really nice telephony products but they are not known for delivering amazing music quality, well these are different.
The sound from these earbuds is incredible, the bass is tight, the mids are prominent and the tops sparkle.
They connect to 2 devices at once, i had no problems at all pairing to my old iPhone and new iPad.
The little charging case keeps them safe in between uses, you simply put them back in the case and shut the lid to charge them up using the supplied usb cable and a usb power source.
In use you adjust volume, change tracks, accept & drop calls all via the single button on each earbud.
These are excellent ear pods. They were ready to use straight out of the box and paired with my iphone 11 pro quickly and easily. They are pre-fitted with medium sized silicone plugs but are provided with large and small size ones as well and can buy replacement ones in the future. They have fallen out of my ears a few times so will change the plugs to see if this improves the fitting, at the moment i wouldn’t feel safe and confident running with these.
The noise cancellation is passive and is ok, the overall sound I personally find very good but a little bassy. I downloaded the Jabra app and has a graphic equaliser so adjusted the sound levels using that which works out perfectly. I do find that i get vibration noise when I walk and if parts of my face are tapped but it is not too noticeable and you get used to it. I have not tried running with them to see if the vibration is a problem.
Full instructions are provided and I find these ear pods easy to use. They are rechargeable either portably in their case or via the mains using the USB/C cable provided. I got a full charge in about an hour, they have a long play life and left for a week unused the ear pods stay fully charged in their case. There are a couple of design flaws about the pod case that I don’t like, firstly there is no dust cap for the USB-C socket and there is no where to attach a carry strap. At a minimum I would have liked to have received a small pouch for the pod case just for a little additional security to keep it safe and clean in my handbag.
There is full support via the app and from Jabra. I personally feel the RRP is a little high for these however the build and sound quality and overall performance is very good. They are a good contender and slightly better value compared to other leading brand ear pods.
The App is also good and offers lots of tweeks you can do for sound and how you’d like them set up
The buds are supplied with medium end covers preinstalled, and larger and smaller sized alternatives available to swap. I have quite small ears and a birth defect twisted ear canal in one ear, a combination which can preclude some in ear designs. The preinstalled covers were too large, but after swapping for the smallest size these have proved a good fit. Switching covers is a little fiddly, but turning new ones inside out really helps to control installation. With the small size covers installed, I can wear these for hours without my ears feeling stretched, sore, or uncomfortable – and they’re not prone to coming out of my ears while I’ve been moving several tons of compost, building grow beds and compost heaps, mowing lawns, or trimming hedges.
The right ear bud connects easily with my phone, tablet, and iPad every time. The left bud is a bit more awkward and seems to require several tries before it will also connect – but does get there. Indicator lights on the buds themselves respond really slowly to e.g successful connection. Basic connectivity and functions are achievable simply via Bluetooth connection, but app installation is required for enhanced controls. I resent this. I’m not overly trusting of software requiring personal information, and it bothers me that functionality on an expensive device is limited unless manufacturer prurience is sanctioned.
Charge lasts well and range seems to be pretty good – comfortably 10m in any unobstructed direction.
The sound is seriously weighty. At first I though a little too heavy, and bass focussed, but actually not fatiguing, and really quite insightful and delicate too. The connection has been super stable, and use for calls is faultless, probably better than anything similar I’ve tried. It is probably fair to say that they don’t sound quite as free and spacious as over-the-ear phones can, but its pretty marginal.
Altogether a joy.
The most noticeable thing on first using these is the Bass, which does somewhat overwhelm everything else but can be dialled down via the excellent Jabra Sound+ App if like me you find it a bit too much. This App gives the user any amount of tweaks and settings to play with and it’s well-worth spending a bit of time getting your Buds exactly as you want them. I’m no techy but I found these very easy to pair up and tweak to my own personal preference via the excellent App, available via both the Google store and Apple’s App store,
The Earbuds are really comfortable and call quality is impressive . They exude an air of quality, as they should at the price,and come in a really neat,and very small USB C charging case. I get a bit over 6 hours from a charge which isn’t great but other reviewers seem to routinely get the claimed 7.5 hours so possibly I’m doing something wrong.
Jabra claim to have scanned several thousands of ears to get the optimum size for the buds,none of those were my perfectly formed “shell likes” but I’ve had no problem at all with fit or the buds staying in position.
The Buds are IP57 verified water resistant, which is 30 minutes under a metre of water for 30 minutes ,or basically you can wear it in the rain with no worries, very useful in this country. There’s also built in Alexa ,which for me is no big deal but a real boon to more and more people these days.
These are a great set of Earbuds that blow my previous pair out of the water. Admittedly they were less than 30% of price of these but I had been quite impressed with them until first using these,from the packaging to taking in the quality of the case then the Buds through to first use it was more like a whole new experience rather than having something a bit better, from a Nokia 105 to a Samsung S20. They’re not cheap,in fact they’re very expensive, but as ever you get what you pay for and as a premium bit of kit they’re well-worth the money
But these 75t earbuds are a ramping up above any Jabra product I’ve used before – I can’t imagine you’d want to spend much more than this on something that might easily drop out of your ear and get lost as you’re walking along the road. But we’re in a world where people invest large sums in Apple AirPods which are just as easily lost, so who knows, maybe this is the new normal.
I’m used to the dark grey and yellow packaging that Jabra products come in, but this particular box is very nice indeed – you have the outer sleeve with glossy product images on a matt background, remove this and reveal a sturdy yellow sleeve a bit like something from the Folio Society. Inserted into this sleeve is a lovely grey tray which features the only real sadness – a single-use plastic tray.
Inside this tray is where the fun starts – you get a little cardboard box with two differently sized silicon earpieces that are easy to swap over but in my case unnecessary – I guess I have completely standard ear canals.
You get a charging case which is nice and compact, connects over USB C to your (not supplied) power supply and gives you a claimed 28 hours of charge – if you can ever listen for that long, which I certainly can’t. And you get your two ear buds which fit neatly in my ears and have a kind of brushed vintage brass disc carrying the Jabra logo, not grey which is shown in some of the Amazon product pics.
Installing the iPhone Jabra Sound app was surprisingly enjoyable and worthwhile unlike an awful lot of such apps that sit between your phone and your Bluetooth device. The app does a couple of things that I can’t be bothered with – I don’t want a microphone listening to me permanently so I’m deliberately not using a voice assistant but Alexa was easy to set up and play around with for a while.
The best feature on these earbuds is HearThrough – it’s like having a hearing aid when you’re not listening to Spotify, and when you are listening to music you are not oblivious to your surroundings.
Sound-quality-wise, these earbuds have a very refined sound with an absolute ton of low bass. You can fiddle around with the graphic equalizer in the app if you want to but I haven’t found this to be necessary.
The soundscapes feature is nice too – listen to one of a selection of constant noises to help you focus or block out background noise. There are plenty of iPhone apps that do just this but it’s nice for it to be integrated into the app for the earbuds.
The only downsides I have found with these earbuds are firstly that I haven’t yet come to terms with making phone calls on them – they make me feel like I’m deaf, cutting out my own voice from inside my head. Secondly, when walking along the road listening to music I can hear the thud of my shoes transferred up into my ears – not too badly, but I’ve used some Melofun earbuds recently that performed better in terms of cutting out transferred sound.
In summary, great battery life, nicely presented, swish iPhone app, HearThrough is absolutely great, but they are just a bit expensive!
The Jabra Elite Active 75t’s seem to put a very good balance to all most of these by having * excellent Sound Quality, * flawless Bluetooth Connection and * long lasting Battery Life, although many will find this price to be a bit of a steep price to pay for any sort of earphones at all but in my honest opinion – these earbuds are worth the money.
* COMFORT
They’re small – slim – lightweight, breathable and comfortable to wear for long workout sessions.
They fit well and include three ear tips (small, medium, large) to accommodate most users. Quite stable in the ear once you get a good fit.
* The charging case is also pretty slick and it’s easy to drop the buds into their respective charging spots.
* Another cool thing is the Rubberised coating on the earphones and also on the charging case – I love this tactile feedback on things that are plastic, it gives it a little more of a Luxury – Premium ”grippy rubber” feel.
* SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is simply superb – with strong bass and decent mids/highs – they come through very clear and balanced.
* The mid-range performance is excellent. The entire range shows a well-balanced and even response, which is important for the accurate reproduction of vocals and lead instruments.
* The treble accuracy of these earbuds is great. The range is remarkably well-balanced, and they should sound bright and detailed without being harsh or piercing.
One of my biggest surprises was how loud these things can go. At three quarters from full volume, these things are plenty loud.
* NOISE ISOLATION
There’s excellent passive noise isolation on these earbuds as in it’s actually one of the best at creating yourself in the world without the aid of active noise-cancelling but if you need to hear your
surroundings: Tap the left earbud and it enables HearThrough – that utilizes the microphones and mixes the ambient sound from your surroundings with the music or whatever you are actively listening to and passes them through to your ears. This is handy if you’re running or doing another activity that requires you to be aware of your surroundings (not having to take out the buds of your ears when you listen to someone).
* BATTERY LIFE
They have a decently long battery life on a single charge at up to 7 hours in my scenario (not 7.5h as advertised – but it should still be adequate to most) and their case gives a total of 26 hours so they should last long enough for most workout routines and for your trip to and from the gym.
At 60% volume from full to dead I was able to achieve 6 hours and 41 minutes of real world use.
* AUTO-PAUSE/PLAY
Another cool feature:
If you take off one of these earbuds – the music will stop,
When you put them back into your ears – the music will resume.
* CONNECTIVITY
The Bluetooth 5.0 connection is very strong. The signal and range are highly impressive as well. No distorted sound, interferences.
I haven’t had either bud drop out while in use, even through walls.
* The earbuds can handle up to 8 devices and be paired to 2 devices at the same time.
* MICROPHONE / CALL
The call quality is good as well. When I’ve taken calls with these the listener never had any complaints or had to repeat myself.
* APP SUPPORT
The Jabra Sound+ is available on both Android and iOS and gives you a decent number of customization options.
The app gives you access to 5-band graphic EQ and talk-through features, so you can turn up the bass to get you pumped during your gym sessions and switch to a different profile when listening casually.
It even allows you to create Sound profiles / presets based on your personal hearing, to activate in specific locations, like at work or at home.
Pros:
+ Excellent audio quality, Rich sound
+ Solid Bluetooth connection, strong signal/range
+ Long lasting battery life
+ Great call quality
+ Sleek and durable aesthetics
+ Very light and comfortable
+ Supremely portable
+ Quick charging
+ Auto-pause/play
+ IP57 (dust resistant and waterproof up to 1 meter)
+ In-app audio customization
Cons:
– No complaints
(will update if I find anything on continuous use)
Overall, the Jabra Elite Active 75t are supremely portable, truly wireless earbuds that you can take with you to the gym or outdoors (as well as being great headphones in general).
They block a fair amount of background chatter and have a long battery life, making them good for office use as well.
* I can definitely say that these are one of my favourite pair of earbuds!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I loved one safety feature particularly that allows you to hear what is going on too. Essential for running and other sports especially if out and about. This makes even listening to books while I walk much safer too.
The sound quality is excellent on the phone, listening to books and playing music. Volume and tones are easy to adjust too.
No matter what the weather the quality stays the same as they are waterproof and if you use them for sport sweat proof too.
So easy to charge and keep with you. The charging box is compact with the inside being magnetic keeping the ear buds attached and charging without having to keep checking. I love that they connect to Alexa. The charge life of the pod and ear buds is very good.
I can’t fault these. Highly recommend this produc
In terms of sound clarity, it is much better than the wire earbuds that I have been using. I can hear the sound so n7ce and clear without much disturbance from the surrounding, showing a good noise isolation.
I mainly use them during school runs, driving and gardening. The battery life is long as i don’t use them for long each time.
They come with 3 sizes ear tips, I am using the medium one although the small size pair are also fit me nicely. Will be using them as spares. The earbuds stay on the ears nicely and don’t fall off easily even I am running. The fact that these earbuds are waterproof (not that I will wear them to swimming), sweat proof make them more durable.
The price for these earbuds are quite high, but that is justified with the quality.
Sound quality — very good for listening to music!
I’ve been using them with my iPhone 7 Plus.
LOVE
====
* The sound is great!
*Like AirPods, you can open the case and put them in your ear — the music or audio then suddenly routes to your ears — you don’t need to tap anything (assuming you’e already done the pairing/setup obviously)
GOOD
=====
* If you take both earbuds out of your ears then the music pauses (just like with AirPods)
* When you put them back in then the music un-pauses (plays)
* They don’t fall out of my ears, even when I shake my head around like a crazy person!
ANNOYING
========
* These don’t have a stem, so there’s nothing to squeeze. Instead there’s a button on each ear. What sucks is that it’s too easy to press by accident.
AIRPODS PRO COMPARISON
====================
Are they as good as AirPods Pro?
* Quick answer: no. But then they are cheaper. They are in the same league. They actually look and feel better than Apple’s earphones
* Apple’s have an edge because you can seamlessly use with multiple iPhones, iPads etc. (If you only use one device then this isn’t a problem.)
* In summary, they’re both very good
RANGE
=====
Problem!
* At first I gave this 4 stars but I’m now getting stuttering playback of music, very annoying.
Update – the stuttering has stopped. Not sure what that was.
Edit: I think it’s to do with the range. With AirPods pro I can keep my phone in my bedroom and still get sound anywhere in the house; but with these the range is much reduced.
I’ve only been using these whilst sitting at my desk so never have the buds too far from my phone or PC and as such haven’t had any issues with drop-outs at all and found them very easy to set-up/pair. I can’t say how well that holds up in a heavy/very active work-out environment as far as drop-outs on the connection go as I’m keeping these for best and will continue using cheaper ones for that. But all the others functions work really well, the battery life is good and the quality is great as expected from Jabra in terms of build and finish and I love how comfortable and compact they are.
Don’t have a bad word to say about them and would definitely recommend giving them a try for the sound quality alone.

The sound is very good, I normally listen at mid volume — here I can hear good base and very good treble including very good interpretation of voice (I listen to a lot of opera). I do not advise going full volume, the buds can go very loud
I like the mobile app too — contains many settings to control music and performance.
The noise cancellation is OK — although this is passive noise cancellation it works well in normal setting.
As to battery — I have never used them for more than 5-6 hours without returning them to the base, and during those (nearly) 6 hours they worked well and still Bluetooth on my phone was saying 20% battery left.
They fit and hold well in my ears; they are lightweight but a little bulky. I never run with them and cannot say if they would stay in. I normally used them while working (i.e. sitting behind my computer) and spending a fair amount of time on conference calls — so I say it again — they are amazing for calling!
To begin with they are a lot smaller and more discrete. The charging case is by some margin the smallest I’ve seen from this type of earphone (and I’ve review a dozen or more over the last twelve months I estimate). The earbuds are incredibly comfortable: better in fact than any I’ve tried so far. They are almost (almost) undetectable once they’re inserted (I actually think truly undetectable would be a drawback: as you still need to have some sense that they’re in – and not fallen out etc). So a massive improvement on that front: I can have these in for hours without any irritation at all.
Then there’s the audio: This is simply phenomenal. Fabulous detail throughout the range; excellent but not overwhelming bass; great soundstage – really immersive. I am really surprised and impressed that earbuds can now match – and in this case exceed – ‘full’ over the ear headphones. Genuinely these are that good. To give you a sense of comparison I would say that these actually sound superior to Jabra’s own over the ear ANC Elite 85h’s (which I also own). Can’t quite believe I would say that – but there it is. Sure, these have no ‘active’ noise cancellation but sound isolation is exceptional anyway and – according to my missus – there is literally zero sound leakage from them (even at highest volumes). The ‘hear through’ feature actually works well enough anyway, so unless you *really* need ANC I would say you’d be better off all round to get these (and for size/practicality alone they win hands down).
The software/app is also worthy of special mention because it is such a pleasingly designed interface to use which allows you to EQ The audio to your taste and save your preference. Now that I’ve tweaked it just so, they sound better yet (the best audio of any headphones I’ve ever owned). There are a number of presets of course, plus a number of ambient sounds (which are a useful and useful addition). Functionality-wise controls work well and actions such as track selection/volume etc work efficiently via discernible taps/clicks to each earbud. Pairing is simple and reliable (though I at least expect this these days – gone are the days when this used to be an issue). That being said on older devices (such as my 3+ Year old iPod) connectivity has been an intermittent problem – but never a problem on my newer iPad (so I’m wondering whether this is a problem with the older hardware? Will continue to persevere with this).
In short I’m bowled over with these earbuds. They may be the only headphones I will need. Whereas before I always felt there was some compromise on the audio front between even good/higher end earbuds and sound (compared to full headphones) it seems that is no longer the case (so might have to find an appreciative home for my 85h’s ). The final question is: are they worth it? Yes: pricey maybe – but absolutely worth it.
Totally recommended.
After opening everything up I put the case and earbuds on charge and installed the Jabra sound+ application to my Android phone, I then had a look through the glossy going through the features. Once they had fully charged I linked the earbuds to my phone, this is a fairly straightforward painless process with the Jabra application walking you through the setup step and the application is well laid out and easy to set and select different listening modes.
It was time to try them; I found the fitting/feel very different to the earbuds I normally use when taking my morning run fitting tightly into the ear with a vacuum rather than the ear hook ones I have, it felt a bit odd at first but after a short period I got used to it. They hold in extremely well and even on a good run I didn’t have to check the hold or adjust them because they came loose.
The sound quality is superb with the customisation being easy to adjust and select different modes and the connection distance is extremely good, I didn’t want the earbuds to stop when removed but this is easy to change in the headset settings. The ability to link to multiple Bluetooth connections I found extremely useful being able to use my Bluetooth MP3 player yet having a call cut in from my phone and seamlessly cut back to my MP3 player once the call was finished and the priority also being adjustable in the Jabra application.
Call quality is extremely good with the 4 microphone call technology it removed the tinny and slightly distant sound I get with my other earbuds, the charge time I was longer than I expected taking over 2 hours to give a full charge although fast charge provides an hour’s battery after just 15 minutes of charging so a quick top up does not take long. The charging case is very compact and fits easily into the palm of your hand with the earbuds using a magnet securing system to charge.
One thing I didn’t like was that the left earbud can’t be used on its own although the right earbud can, this might not be an issue for some but I will often use just one earbud when round the house being able to swap over if the power runs out on one.
Overall the sound quality is superb, the Jabra sound+ application works very well and is easy to navigate with a multitude of different settings and options. They have IP57-rated waterproof protection so no problem if they get a bit sweaty, the fit is very secure and both the case and earbuds seem very robust, the call quality is superb and with the multiple Bluetooth connection ability it does not tie you to a single device for both calls and music. The only thing I didn’t like was not having the ability to use both earbuds as standalone listening devices.
The sound quality is, quite simply, outstanding. My music sounds rich and I can year everything. There are also several equaliser options within the accompanying app.
The noise cancelling is good and, at the touch of the left earbud’s button, the pass-through / ambient volume activates. The level of this can be altered within the app to suit your needs. This is essential in my office, since I press it on to talk or listen for the phone ringing.
The buttons on the earbuds are so much better than unresponsive touch / tap controls. A physical button is always my preferred choice here. The gold against black looks amazing too, with the Jabra logo on.
Size-wise, these are perfect for my ears. The rubber tips fit comfortably (I needed the small ones) and the whole earbud is reasonably simply to get an airtight fit for perfect sound. Even the charging case is tiny compared with other branded earbuds.
Having used these for my first voice call today, with the pass-through sound on, I felt comfortable speaking; something which I won’t normally do with earbuds in.
Finally, just to mention the app. It is extremely simple to use, yet covers all the bases in terms of needs. As a bonus function, there is also an ambient sound setting to play bird song, rain or other background sounds. What a fantastic idea!
I cannot begin to say how happy I am with these. I highly recommend them.
The right earphone can be used on its own either for mono music or phone calls. The left can’t be used on its own so I guess it’s slaved to the right. The earphones are easy to charge in their case and seem to hold their charge pretty well.
So, why only 4 stars? I think the earphones are great, but they’re really expensive. At 189.99 I would expect something that is miles better or has more features than my existing Bluetooth earphones. But, although they are good, I can’t see anything to set them apart from similar products at half the cost. If you particularly like Jabra products go for it I’m happy to recommend them. But personally I’d look for a less expensive product.
I read loads of pre-release reviews for these, and all were glowing and positive, so I waited patiently until I could order them – I really wanted these to work for me.
Simple to set up with my phone, and initially I was very happy. Good sound, great Sounds+ app. This was all done sitting on the sofa, and I shook my head about to try to dislodge them, but they stayed put. So far, so good.
They come fitted with the medium tips, so I tried both the small and large tips just to see if they were a better fit. This is when I stood up and ‘waggled’ my jaw about (to try to mimic eating/talking). I managed to get the right earbud to fall out – with all three sizes.
This obviously gave me cause for concern as I’d want to wear them whilst doing gardening, which requires climbing into a big laurel hedge to trim it sometimes. The last thing I want to happen is lose an earbud in this hedge as I’d never find it again.
I tried fitting them again this morning, but still managed to get the right bud to fall out. Therefore, with regret, I’m returning these.
Maybe other users will achieve a better fit, (you lucky people!), and they’ll reap the benefits that these buds will undoubtedly provide, but alas, they are not for me.
Update 27/3/2020: I now have a pair of Jaybird Vistas (purchased elsewhere), and they are also true wireless buds, with the addition of the small hooks that hook into your ear (concha hook?). These have made all the difference – I cannot shake them out. Good battery life, good sound, instant connection to phone, can’t fault them really. Maybe if the Jabra Elite Active 75T had these hooks, I would have kept them… stay safe, wash your hands and keep your distance
My 24year old daughter has laid claim to them at the moment! Yep they are that good.
We have menieres disease and as part of that constant tinnitus these ear pods seem to somehow help that its as though the ear pods are turning the volume of the tinnitus down. So I am now saving for another set!!
The piece that goes into your ear comes with three pairs of different cover/shields we both found that the smallest cover/shields were the best.
The battery life is great and plentiful for how we use them.
The dinky little case/charger is brilliant and so small to keep in your handbag or pocket!
The volume control is great.
Loads of different settings to try
You can hear what is going on around you as well so no safety issue of someone creeping up on you whilst outside!
Will connect to so many different devices
They are soooo neat!
I’m in love with them!
Now to sneak this pair from wherever my daughter has secreted them to “share” them until I can save for another set!!
The sound of the *Active* 75Ts is much more refined – more responsive bass and about 20% louder overall than the 65Ts.
Much better fit than the 65Ts (which were pretty good in my ears to begin with) – you hardly notice these in your ears.
If you are considering between 65s and 75s this is a no-brainer, go for the 75s!
* Very well made
* Great battery life and USB C case
* Good sound
* Really good app
* You can now define button controls in app (31/5/20)
* Good noise isolation
* Now with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) via a Firmware upgrade (Oct 2020)
CON’s
* Too much bass on default setting (although can depend on which Music App you use, see EDIT 17/9/20 below)
* No aptX HD support
* Google Assistant/Alexa is touch activated rather than voice activated.
* At present can only use right earbud independently
* Active Noise Cancelling now added but less battery life if you use it. (NB the noise isolation from how they fit is good for most situations, so you could use that instead unless really noisy)

Truly Wireless seems all the rage these days. These are the second set I’ve used.
The first set were Umi W8 around 50.00 compared with these at approx 190.00.
SOUND QUALITY & SOUND+ APP
How do they compare. Well these have far more bass! For many this is a pro, but I think there is a bit too much really as it can make the mids and trebles a little muddy on the default setting. It’s one of those contrasts in life, that to have good bass you need good treble, to keep it focused and not bloated and flabby. The bass does settle down a bit after some wear in, but is still too heavy in the mix in my opinion.
The sound quality generally speaking is good, and the Jabra ‘Sound+’ App is very useful. You can set up a few different profiles for instance settings for at home and a different profile for when commuting. There is also a ‘Focus’ mode which plays various different soundscapes such as ‘Ocean Waves’ or ‘Songbirds’ to help aid concentration.
The key thing with this app is that you have a Graphic EQ where you can tone down that bass and maybe the first band in the midrange, whilst even needing to increase the treble to gain more clarity and dynamism from the earbuds and helping set them closer to a neutral soundscape [See App Screenshot Photo]. This is perfect for devices where you can download the app, but not good for Windows devices, as you won’t be able to alter them unless you maybe have a separate Graphic EQ app.
It is a shame that for the price aptX HD Bluetooth audio is not supported. But then this is a mixed bag in that for it to work you need an aptx enabled device as well and not all phone manufacturers include this. Still at this price I feel that manufacturers should really be including it.
These earbuds do not have ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) which plays the same signal as is heard outside to effectively ‘cancel out’ external noise. The UMI W8’s have these and it’s quite good however, it can aggravate my tinnitus and make me feel like my ears are a little blocked after using them. The Jabra’s have ‘Noise Isolation’, which is basically through their design and through ensuring that you get a really good fit by selecting the right size silicon tips (S, M or L – included), it should help isolate external noise. I find it pretty effective and my ears don’t ring after using the earbuds. I’ve listened to it whilst vaccuuming and it doesn’t completely eliminate it but does knock the noise down significantly so the music is still very clear.
The ‘HearThrough’ is also useful. It basically activates the microphone on the earbuds, which lets outside noise in so you can be more aware of your surroundings. You can set it so that pressing the left earbud either pauses the music for this, or just activates ‘Hearthrough’ to the specified setting level you have made, a little or a lot or somewhere in between.
CALL QUALITY
As to call quality, I found the voice to be clear, and the caller heard my voice clearly but didn’t feel that it was quite as clear or as full sounding as through the normal phone earpiece.
At the moment, you can only use the right earbud independently, however, this is meant to be rectified shortly in a future firmware update. This really is a must, as earbuds much cheaper have this facility.
VERDICT
These clearly are good and very capable earbuds, whilst not really being truly hifi (not that bluetooth can ever really be). They are well designed and comfortable. If sound clarity is your prime motive in purchasing you may be a little disappointed. But for general use and with tweaking the Graphic EQ they are very good.
As to price they are toward the higher end of what is currently available on the market.

EDIT 11/05/2020
=====
With a bit more use, these are still very good. Their auto connecting to previously paired devices is particularly good and seemless. Have used on a Zoom Meeting via Laptop, I could hear other participants clearly and they said that my voice also came across loud and clear. Definitely a good set of buds.

EDIT 31/05/2020

Latest update for the Jabra ‘Sound+ App’ on Apple and Android now allows you to define button controls in the headset, according to your preference directly from the App.
This is a really handy feature. For instance if you’ve come from another brand, and you are already used to a different set of commands for the left and right earbuds, then you could reprogram your Jabra’s to match the way your old earbuds worked. Very useful!
OR if you reprogram your most used functions to either single or double press, leaving your less used commands at triple press. Decide yourself what action you want each option to perform, whether to skip track, increase volume or answer call etc.
Still awaiting the update to allow you to use the left earbud on it’s own. At the moment still right earbud only if you want to go solo.
=====
EDIT 17/09/2020
=====
I’ve recently moved to using a different Music App (the apps internal equaliser is set as flat) and have noticed that the sound is not as bassy in this particular App. Which means I’ve moved the Jabra ‘Sound+’ equaliser to a similar shape but closer to the neutral line as the bass is no longer so overwhelming in the mix.
NB still no app update to let you use the left earbud solo. Still right only if using one earbud.

EDIT 23/10/20
=====
Jabra have managed to add ANC (Active Noise Cancelling to the buds) which is added via a simple firmware update via the Sound+ app. I’ve tried it out this morning and it works pretty well. There are minimal tuning options for it compared to newer more expensive models (it’s generally either off or on) but it did seem to work pretty well, apart from some higher tones which still came through.
As mentioned in the Summary if you turn the ANC on the battery won’t last as long, it’s still very good though.
Excellent earbuds!

EDIT 09/02/2021
===
Still going strong, I actually knocked one of the buds out of my ear today and it landed on a tiled floor. Still worked fine no damage at all. These are definitely very good buds. The case size is great for portability and the button controls are very logical, much better than my Bose Soundsport in that regard. Although ANC is available I actually prefer the natural isolation provided by the fit myself and would use that most of the time (although I am a little sensitive to the feeling of slight pressure that ANC can give the user).
Either way a great pair of earbuds and good to now have option for ANC.
==EDIT Aug 2021==
Still working great, well made product!
(If you found my Review Helpful, I would be really grateful if you could kindly click below to confirm this. Many thanks)
Whilst they aren’t active in their noise-canceling, they are such a good fit that there is a definite passive noise cancellation. I often work with headphones on simply to cut down on extraneous noise, and these did the job for that. They even have ambient noise included in the app – a whole range of sounds from white noise to waves, to rain, to crowd noise – which I found great for drowning out a few loud voices recently on the train as I tried concentrating on some work!
Impressed too with the ‘hear-through’ function – I hadn’t come across that before. Mics pick up your surrounding sound and relay it through the earphones – useful if you are out running or needing to hear what is happening around you.
At first glance, all the button combinations seemed a little confusing, but actually are quite intuitive.
Lots of nice little touches – like the sound stopping when you remove an earbud and restarting when you replace it.
And so much of the experience can be customized via the app.
I don’t run – exercise of choice is swimming – so I haven’t tested these for staying in during exercise. But often enough earbuds work loose when I’m walking, but these haven’t so far.
PROS
– Good sound
– Comfortable to wear or prolonged periods
– Excellent charge life – both of the buds and the case.
– Controls easily mastered.
– A significant element of passive noise-canceling
– Ambient noise included
– Fully configurable via the app
CONS
– Occasionally the buttons seem to lose their functionality with some apps – eg the Audiobook app from my library. It will start off fine, able to increase the volume or pause and restart, but after a while the functionality stops. Not sure if this is the app or the earbuds. I haven’t noticed it doing it with Apple’s native podcast or music apps. [EDIT – I have noticed it happening occasionally with Apple Music app]
Apart from that, these are a brilliantly thought out and executed design. A superb piece of kit.
After a few days wearing and use the 75t would say:
Pros
– sound clarity and quality is superb. Much better than any earbuds I’ve used before and bass on par with high end over headphones I have. Good volume and clear definition of bass, mid and treble. (much better than cheaper <50 wireless buds I have tested)
- amazing battery life (easily a days use per charge)
- ability to customise sound to your own taste through free app
- extremely comfortable to wear over extended periods and they dont look odd or goofy when in place (like some other designs) Also remain firmly in place when jogging or training
- tiny, compact charging USB-C case.
- pairing/setup and controls simple and straightforwards
- voice calling/audio is good
- good noise isolation and hearthrough option works well
- well made, feels premium.
- free 2 year warranty
Cons
- no ANC (but for me not really a deal breaker)
- switching between apple devices (when more than 2 connected) can be fiddly compared to apple's own setup which is very slick
- when paired to apple watch directly the max volume is not very loud (but that happens with other bluetooth headphones I have tried too)
- still pricey (imo) but if water proofing is as good as claimed probably worth spening the 20 exta over normal 75t elite
overall
- an excellent product and higly recommended
The fit is very good. I’ve previously struggled with the fit of earbuds and they rarely feel secure. They are surprisingly small, and by experimenting with the gels provided, I found a fit that was both comfortable and secure. I’m not a runner, but in daily use around the house and outdoors, they felt secure and they stayed in place. Importantly I felt no discomfort at all, which is unusual for me.
The charge via USB-C takes a couple of hours, but once complete, you will easily get a typical day’s use. The packaging is as good as you’d expect for a premium brand. The carry shell is small and discrete, ideal for a pocket or handbag.
The sound quality is superb; full, rich and very involving. It’s easy to lose yourself in the sound and become completely oblivious to background noise. Absolutely ideal for a commute, but also good enough for listening to serious music in your home. I suspect I shall use these buds in preference to my over-the-ear Jabra phones for much of the time as the quality of the two is so close.
The supplied Jabra app allows you to control and customise the pods to suit your listening needs. I’ve used them with both my Samsung phone and tablet with no connectivity problems whatsoever.
These earbuds are a joy to use and I can find nothing whatsoever to fault.
The compact design allows them to be transported around with ease while also protecting them inside charging case.
When you have earbuds connected to phone and app it can tell you how much charge is left in both the case and the earbuds.
In the box you get extra ear gels so you can find the fit that is perfect for you and a usb charging cable as well as the earbuds and case.
They have scanned thousands of ears to ensure they have the optimum fit over other brands and a special coating to make sure they stay in while you work out.
The charging case has magnets inside that make it easier to ripen and close the case without worrying they will fall out.
When I first inserted them into ear the earbuds it talked me through steps to connect earbuds.
I also downloaded the app which allows you to change the sound to your preferred settings from bass boost, smooth, energise etc which are all preset or just adjust manually yourself.
The have a hear through option mode when you push once on the left ear piece it will lower music levels, you will hear ‘hear through on’ push again to remove it.
They have 4-mic technology for superior call quality and clarity. On using it appeared to be clear and easily heard by other person.
The right ear bud can be used on its own for mono music playback or for calls. If you remove the left earbuds while listening, the music will automatically pause, just press the button on right to resume music with the one earbud.
To increase the volume you simply hold the right earpiece and to lower hold button on left earpiece.
During calls press either earbud once to answer, two presses to hangup, three presses to mute/unmute and again hold right to increase volume or left to decrease volume.
How to use for music- right ear bud; press one to play/pause, push twice to activate your voice assistant if set up and hold to increase volume.
Left ear bud- push once to turn on/off heat through, push twice to skip to next song, three times to go back song and hold to decrease volume.
An update was available when connected through app, it guides you when to replace earbuds in the case to install and it flashes purple, do not remove them during this time.
The whole design of the earbuds has been well thought out. The sound clarity is excellent and easy to adjust. They are comfortable in ear and a compact design for travel.
I would say that these are becoming one of the top models in this highly competitive and quickly evolving headphone market.
left earbud dysfunction at times off and on in just two weeks of arrival (correction: spontaneously got better after recharge and software update- though this left ear bud tends to go crazy once in awhile it’s been up n running quite well from 12/2019 to 05/2022 and on going ) its noice cancelling function since first release vs updated active noice cancellation software: not much difference
