Montreal, Stockholm or St. Petersburg – if you are driving on winter trips in areas with lowest temperatures, you can take the GLACIER CANYON PARKA with you. Because it is particularly warm lined with our Microguard padding. It is robust and resistant to moisture. The Texapore outer material protects against rain and wind. In this robust Oxford version, it can easily withstand the straps of the bag or backpack. We have integrated cuffs made of microfibre on the sleeves, which additionally protect against wind and cold. And when it stays dry, you can simply remove the hood.

Den Reiverschluss ganz zumachen geht fast nicht.
Initially ordered LG but was too baggy & sleeves were much too long.
Very easy to swap and change to a medium.
Jacket itself is very comfortable, rain proof and very warm.
Price was great as well, 50 cheaper than anywhere else I could find at time.

La giacca buona, sembra ben fatta, robusta, cuciture ottime, molte tasche per le taglie sono strane. La L risulta giusta giusta di spalle e maniche , stretta la zip dal petto al collo, molto ( troppo) largha in vita.
Warm and water proof. Getting very warm when walking but perfect for the extra time everyone is spending outside in 2020. Even with a single layer under its fine when out for early morning walks.
The green colour is quite muted which is nice. Could’ve done with extra inside pockets or at least a deeper zipped pocket but the one is ok for a phone.

Fr 150 Euro ein absolut fairer Preis. Mann ist 191 gro und hat lange Arme und breite Schultern. Passt wunderbar.

Das ist mal eine Winterjacke!
– Aussenmaterial ist Robust
– Gre ist Perfekt. Im Winter ist es besser wenn die Jacke ein oder zwei Zentimeter lnger ist als zu kurz.
– Die Jacke ist berall auch an den rmeln gut gefttert.
– Kaputze ist auch gefuttert und besitzt eine optimale Gre.
– Taschen besitzen innen einen angenehmen Fleece Stoff.
Great, sturdy coat and delivered very quickly. I bought this for the coming winter so haven’t tried it out in any adverse weather but the fit is great and it looks good too. Fingers crossed it does the job

I have used this jacket in low temperature days (-15C). In thoses days, the jacket keep me warm while I was using only a thin sweater. I tested it in snowy and rainy days, it has supported well under those conditions. I read some negative opinions because the zipper. It is truth that it gets stuck but it only happens when you do not colocate it correctly. If you do it slowly, it will zip.
What a great warm and fitting jacket, 4 large pockets and pocket in side the coat for all your personal bits.
Shower and wind proof and the jacket looks very smart, loved it so much brought the same coat in the Redwood colour, which also looks fantastic.

Talk about doing what it says on the tin! Chasing the Northern Lights I was stood in Kirkenes, Norway; in a breeze, midday temperature a lovely -22 degrees C. Coupled with a pair of Berghaus waterproof trousers over Craghoppers Winter-lined trousers, waterproof beanie, merino glove-liners under Alpine (Milllets) ski-gloves, a pair of Salomon walking boots with lambswool insoles finished off with merino knee-socks. Far too warm (should have taken off the two merino 200 denier base tops and my undies ;-)). This coat is for serious winter seekers, anything less than that it is just too toasty. And it is waterproof too.

I normally buy 38″ chest size, so I got a small size. It fits really well, though there would not be space underneath for a down jacket or anything like that. You’d only need anything much underneath if you were an Arctic explorer, though. This coat is toasty warm.
If you put the hood up with the fake fur trim attached, you are enveloped in your own world of warmth. Mind you, you can hardly see out.
The inside pocket will just take an OS map, but you’d struggle to fit one of the waterproof maps. Seriously, this coat is probably too heavy and warm for hill climbing except in a blizzard. However, there are times when you want a warm coat, and this fits the bill.
Not a fan of the faux fur trim, so it being removable was perfect. Couldn’t be warmer, or a better fit.

Zipping up to the neck is tight, but you’ll never need to do so as you’ll want some cold coming in to combat the intense heat that’s all reflected back from your body. Very warm, very comfy, just don’t cycle in it.
Got this jacket to deal with cold, wet and windy conditions. Very pleased with it because it has been very cosy. The sleeves were slightly long but this works for me because it allows the sleeve to easily come over and help keep gloves dry. The hood is very large and to prevent it being blown back by strong wind you will likely need to ear a hat such as a thick beanie plus reduce the volume by pulling drawstring and also pull in the rim drawstring. The rim drawstring is tucked away and it would be easy to miss that there IS a drawstring. No real minus points but I would have liked a large internal map size pocket.

Quand on part sur du Jack Wolfskin, on cherche la qualit. Cette veste est bien digne de la marque. Finitions au top, coupe impeccable ( peut tre un poil ajuste pour du Xl mais sans plus), matriaux robustes et trs trs chaud ! Le tissus extrieur est vraiment coupe-vent et impermable (dperlant) tout en restant respirant. La veste est assez lgre pour une telle isolation et il y a des poches partout ! Je suis ravi de cet achat.

Vorab mchte ich bei meiner Rezension darber informieren, dass ich hier ausschlielich das Produkt selbst, die Verpackung des Produkts vom Hersteller (Lieferumfang, wie ist es verstaut usw.) und, sofern vorhanden, Kommunikation mit dem Hersteller des Produkts bewerte.
Aussagen zum Versand usw. sind verkufer- und lieferantenabhngig und sollten deshalb in einer Produktrezension keine Erwhnung finden.
Optik:
Die Jacke sieht sehr gut aus und macht einen ebenfalls sehr wertigen Eindruck. Die Verarbeitung ist, wie erhofft, extrem gut. Ich konnte keine schlechten Nhte, ausgefranste Enden o.. ausmachen. Ob man nun wirklich so viele Taschen an einer Jacke bentigt, mag jeder fr sich selbst beurteilen. Insgesamt gibt es vier im unteren Bereich [in zwei greift man von oben, in zwei schrg von der Seite], zwei auf der Brust, eine auf dem Oberarm sowie eine Innentasche. Die Innentasche hat eine kleine ffnung, durch die bspw. Kopfhrerkabel gefhrt werden knnen, wenn man sein Handy in dieser Tasche transportiert.
Gre und Passform:
Die Jacke fllt meiner Meinung nach ein wenig zu gro aus. Ich bin 1,78m gro und wiege ca. 75kg. Kleidergre S ist damit bei dieser Jacke gerade noch so tragbar. Normalerweise rangiere ich bei Kleidergren immer zwischen S und M. Die rmellnge ist gut und ist nicht zu lang. Ich denke, kleineren oder schmaler gebauten Personen, wird die Jacke nicht mehr passen – sie wre schlicht zu gro. Angenehm ist, dass es insgesamt zwei Mglichkeiten gibt die Jacke anzupassen. Das hilft kleineren Personen vermutlich nicht, aber schmaleren Personen knnte damit geholfen sein. Die Jacke lsst sich sowohl am unteren Jackensaum, also am Ende der Jacke, und im Bauchbereich ber einen Gummizug enger stellen. Der Gummizug im unteren Bereich ist geschickt angebracht damit eigentlich kaum zu sehen, der Gummizug fr den Bauchbereich ist in den Taschen versteckt. Allzu eng sollte man die Jacke im Bauchbereich nicht stellen, da die Jacke ber dem Gummizug ansonsten eine Falte wirft, die man dann frhlich spazieren trgt.
Auch die Kapuze verfgt ber einen Gummizug, mit dessen Hilfe sie enger gestellt werden kann.
Wie warm ist die Jacke?
Ich persnlich hatte noch nie so eine warme Winterjacke. Fr die kalten Tage bei Spaziergngen durch den Wald, den Weg zur Arbeit oder das Ausharren auf einem Weihnachtsmarkt kann ich die Jacke absolut empfehlen.
Fazit:
Super Jacke zu einem, wie ich finde, angemessenen Preis. Einziges Manko ist, wie zuvor beschrieben, dass der Bauchgummizug irgendwann eine Falte wirft (zumindest bei mir – das mag auch an meinem Kperbau liegen). Hierfr einen Stern abzuziehen halte ich aber nicht fr gerechtfertigt, daher bleibt es bei 5 Sternen.

Very warm jacket, I bought an extra large which is usual for me and it fits good, perhaps I would have preferred a little more room st the shoulder but overall I’m very happy with the purchase.
So I tried the Large again. There is actually very little difference to be honest which might explain why these come in 6 different sizes. But the Large didn’t feel to tight in any of the ways the Medium did. It does look slightly bulkier, but not overly so like the ridiculously huge Berghaus Parka I tried previously. One thing to note though is that the necks are quite tight and snug.
So all in all it’s quite a slim fitting Parka with nice long sleeves and a decent hood. Weather protection seems very good so far – it’s very warm, padded and keeps the wind and rain out. The draw strings are fiddly but other than slightly pulling in the waist band I won’t really have a need to use them.
This is just what I was after and the price I paid from Amazon was half the retail price from Jack Wolfskin direct online. Very pleased and I highly recommend this Parka. Bare in mind the points I made about sizing and consider that the available sizes are S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL. So for me the Large is probably similar to a Medium by any other brand.

Kurz, mein Mann ist einfach begeistert von dieser Jacke. Sie sieht super aus, ist warm ohne das man in ihr schwitzt und was das Allerbeste ist: sie hlt wirklich mal den Regen ab. Form, Gre und Farbe – alles stimmt!!! Nur zu empfehlen, wenn man jeden Tag, auch bei Wind und Regen, an der frischen Luft ist.

Die Kapuze ist ziemlich weit geschnitten, sitzt bei mir viel zu tief. Das ist dann schon fast eine Augenbinde. Die muss man mit dem Kordelzug eng stellen und nicht zu weit nach vorne ziehen. #
Was mich definitv strt: Die Jacke ist entgegen meiner Erwartungen nicht so warm wie erhofft. Gerade bei Wind pfeift es bei mir doch ganz schn durch. Ok, ich bin eine Frostbeule. Dennoch htte ich mir von einem namhaften Outdoorhersteller zu dem Preis mehr erwartet. Ein Pullover + die Jacke reichen bei mir nicht, wenn es nasskalt-windig ist. Mir hilft dann eine einfache Windstopperweste. Wenn das jedoch – wie beworben – die Winterjacke fr klteste Temperaturen ist…
Pour partir en Laponie. Ce vtement est impermable, coupe-vent et retient votre temprature corporelle. Idal. Un ami m’avait prt une marque connue et d’un prix trs diffrent: aucune diffrence au ressenti. Je pense avoir tout dit.

Habe lange berlegt eine Jacke online zu bestellen, da ich in den letzten Jahren leider nie etwas passendes gefunden habe. Diese Jacke allerdings fllt wie angegeben aus und hlt ordentlich warm. Fr die aktuell milderen Tage gengt ein Hemd, oder T-Shirt zum drunter anziehen vllig. Somit bin ich guter Dinge, dass ich mit dieser Jacke auch im Winter nicht frieren werde. Die Verarbeitung ist klasse, gewhnungsbedrftig ist lediglich der etwas kleine Reiverschluss, welcher Anfangs ein bisschen Fummelarbeit bedeutet. Hat man sich aber schnell dran gewhnt und dann geht die Jacke auch blind zu. Wasser und Wind hlt sie bisher auch absolut zuverlssig ab. Mal schauen, ob diese Jacke hnlich lange hlt, wie meine letzte von einer anderen bekannten Marke fr hochwertige Outdoorbekleidung. 😉
This coat is incredibly warm without being overly bulky or making you feel like you’re wearing several duvets. Its waterproof, windproof and it has a good array of useful pockets (including a rubber grommet on one of the inside pockets to feed a headphone cable through – while keeping your phone/mp3 player dry). The hood is detachable (if preferred) and it also has a number of hidden cords running through it allowing adjustment of the fit to ensure it remains snug in all the right places to keep out the wind.
The coat is well made and looks very stylish too, I’m quite looking forward to this coming winter to be honest…
Nice parka just strange the tags come un-attached from the garment but it seemed genuine and it looks great but unfortunately had to return a XXXL because it’s too tight for my belly. Usually 3XL would fit but not this time. Won’t give it 5 stars because of the tags being detached which according to another reviewer has happened before

Dafr, dass die Jacke in Bangladesh hergestellt wurde ist es ein stolzer Preis. Ich hoffe, dass die Nhenden dem entsprechend einen hohen Lohn erhalten haben. Ansonsten ist die Verarbeitung gut. Die Jacke lsst sich durch verdeckte Zugbnder krpergerecht einstellen. Der vordere Reiverschluss sollte beobachtet werden, wird aber durch die Druckknpfe entlastet. Im Augenblick ist die Jacke noch etwas steif, muss noch entsprechen eingetragen werden. Bin ansonsten zufrieden. Zug- und Wind fest.

This a very well made Parka. It is very very warm. In fact I would say too warm for most days now given how are winter has become. But you never now there could be a vicious cold snap around the corner and I will be glad for this garment.
Tight fit around arm pits, as most wintercoats seem to be, but fits fine elsewhere.

Die Jacke fllt erfreulicherweise lnger aus als gewohnt, der Hintern ist in der Klte so auch bedeckt.
Zwei strende Punkte gibt es: Der Pelz fllt einem beim Aufsetzen der Kaputze buchstblich ins Gesicht und der Reissverschluss ist arg fummelig.
ich habe mir den Jack Wolfskin Canyon Glacier Parka fr den kommenden Winter bestellt.
Nach sehr kurzer Lieferzeit traf diese dann bei mir ein und berzeugte mich direkt! Sehr saubere Verarbeitung und eine tolle und Wertige Materialwahl. Der Pelskragen ist etwas drftig, was die Masse angeht, spielt in meiner Rezession allderings keine Rolle, da ich die Jacke ohne diesen Trage. Sie wrmt und hlt den Wind hervorragend ab und erfllt also voll und ganz ihren Zweck!
Alles in Allem eine sehr schne Jacke, die mit knapp 300 fair eingepreist ist, andere Hersteller wrden vermutlich 350-400 verlangen.
Kann sie nur “wrmstens” empfehlen!
Als winterjacke kann nur weiter empfehlen..haltet sehr warm, und mann kann kapuze abmachen. Fr diese marke, mit diese preis bin begeistert, werde auch fr meine familie sowas kaufe
Ich bin 1,83m und wiege 84kg, bei einer normal bis sportlichen Figur. Bei dieser Statur passt mir die Jacke in Gre L praktisch wie angegossen. Die rmel haben genau die richtige Lnge und die Jacke eine sehr angenehme Weite. Lediglich der Kragen fhlt (sich trotz normaler Halslnge) ein wenig hoch an, das drfte aber sicherlich Geschmackssache sein. Wer noch etwas dickere Oberarme hat und weitere rmel bevorzugt knnte Gre L vielleicht nicht luftig genug finden. Ich finde die Passweite jedoch sehr komfortabel.
Die Jacke selbst hat eine Innentasche auf der linken Seite. Da sollte ohne weiteres ein Handy oder Reisepass Platz finden. Eine ffnung fr Kopfhrerkabel ist in der Tasche ebenfalls vorhanden.
Eine weitere Tasche findet sich am linken Oberarm, diese ist naturgem etwas kleiner aber immer noch relativ gerumig. Der Verschluss besteht aus 1 Druckknopf (Metall).
Auf der Vorderseite der Jacke befinden sich 6 Taschen (2 oben, 4 unten). Die beiden oberen und 2 untere Taschen sind von oben zugnglich und lassen sich jeweils ber 2 Metalldruckknpfe verschlieen.
Zustzlich gibt es unten 2 Taschen (optisch deckungsgleich mit den beiden anderen) die seitlich zugnglich sind und ber Reiverschlsse verschliebar sind.
Der Reiverschluss der Jacke selbst ist sehr leichtgngig. Zum Schlieen der Jacke sind 6 weitere Metalldruckknpfe an der Reiverschlussleiste vorhanden.
Die Kapuze selbst ist abnehmbar. Ebenso kann der Fellsaum an der Kapuze entfernt werden. Die Kapuze lsst sich ber Zugbnder in ihrer Weite einstellen.
Das Material der Jacke wirkt sehr hochwertig. Evtl. ein wenig steif beim Anlegen, was sich nach mehrmaligem Tragen evtl. ndert. Strend ist das Gefhl jedenfalls nicht. Die Jacke hlt sehr warm und das Futter fhlt sich sehr geschmeidig an. Die Nhte sind alle sauber verarbeitet und nirgends hngen lose Fden herum. Die Verarbeitungsqualitt ist meiner Ansicht nach sehr gut.
Fazit:
Ich habe nach einer hochwertigen Winterjacke gesucht um mich in der kalten Jahreszeit vor Temperaturen und Regen zu schtzen. Diese Jacke macht auf mich den Eindruck dass die diesen Ansprchen mit Leichtigkeit gewachsen ist. Der Komfort ist sehr gut, die Verarbeitung hochwertig.
Kurzum, ich bin von der Jacke sehr begeistert und wrde sie mir auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen!
Sollte sich wider Erwarten etwas an meiner Meinung ndern werde ich diesen Beitrag selbstverstndlich aktualisieren.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Jacke in Gre L passt wie erwartet. Bei einer Krpergre von 1,88 und 78 kg, Lnge und schnitt super. Viele Taschen….etwas fummelig sind diese doppelten Reiverschle. Ansonsten coole Jacke zum super Preis.

Die Hardshell Jacke ist sehr schn geschnitten und verarbeitet. Die Taschen ist sehr praktisch auen (7 Stck) und innen (2 Stck).
Ich trage bei den Jacken die Gre 56 und bin durchschnittlich gebaut mit 187cm und 90 kg. Die XL Jacke von Jack Wolfskin ist als 54/56 angegeben und leider wie eine 54er beim Anprobieren. Leider ist sie mir zu knapp und kann mich schwer bewegen, weil die Schultern, der Brustkorb und die Arme zu schmal geschnitten sind.
Die nchste Gre XXL bei Jack Wolfskin ist normalerweise eine 58er und ist wie eine 58er beim Anprobieren (z.B. wie bei Jack Wolfskin Yukon Parka) und ist mir eine Nummer zu Gro.
Schade, ich htte Sie mir gerne behalten, aber die XL J.W. Jacke ist eher als L geschnitten statt XL.

Habe mich fr die Jacke entschieden da ich mit der Marke in der Vergangenheit schon gut gefahren bin. Die Jacke passt sehr gut und die Verarbeitung ist wirklich gut. Die Jacke hlt schn warm und trocken. Gerne wieder!
Also Probleme mit dem Reiverschluss habe ich keineswegs so wie es hier in manchen Rezensionen beschrieben wird. Er funktioniert einwandfrei.
Auf meiner Islandreise im eisigem Winter hat dieser Parka seine Funktion erfllt. Ich habe zur keiner Zeit gefriert oder bin nass geworden. Ich kann nur besttigen das diese Jacke Winddicht ist. Die Qualitt hat mich berzeugt.
Da mein Parka schwarz ist, sieht man den ein oder anderen Fussel ,aber es hlt sich in Grenzen.
Wenn der eine oder die andere Tiere zu Hause hlt, welche ziemlich stark haaren, sollte man die Jacke nicht direkt daneben aufhngen oder ablegen.

The only issue I had was the fury bit of the hood kept unzipping (only a fraction) maybe it’s just me trying to find something wrong.
Best winter coat/parka I have ever had. Looks cool, durable, very warm, it has huge pockets, the inner purse pocket is perfect. Best for the money.
Extremely warm jacket. Good length. No draughts whatsoever even in very high winds. Hidden drawstrings for waist, bottom and hood. Hood is detachable as is fur. Very very large hood. Nothing but praise for this jacket.
Super Jacke mein Mann ist begeistert. Wir haben diese Jacke bei Jack Wolfskin gesehen da kostet sie allerdings 299 Euro deshalb haben wir sie aus amazon bestellt. Jacke sieht live viel schner aus als auf den Bildern.
Dieser Parka htte mir sehr gut gefallen, aber er ist mir zu klein. Die nchste Grsse kostet 60 mehr, das ist mir dann aber zu teuer.
Die Jacke ist der Wahnsinn! So viele Einstellmglichkeiten und die Qualitt der Jacke einfach hammer !
Einzig negativ ist, dass man um den Reisverschluss zu schlieen manchmal ein paar Sekunden brauch, um beide Verschlsse richtig einzufdeln.

Was presently surprised when I tried the coat on the first time. Material, stitches and zipper is all high quaily that should last for years.
Have not tried it in extreme cold yet but at 5-10C the coat is insolating pretty well, even have to open it sometimes because I get too hot.
Would highly recommend this product to any of my friends.
