The block has a safety feature which is good, only one way to place the knives, and replacing them in the block also has a right way and a wrong way unlike a wooden block. The knifives were of good quality and sharp, good handles. All in all good value for money.
There is nothing that I didn’t like about this set. Everything is just perfect with Japanese steel. But too too pricy can’t believe I spent 11k on knives, I don’t regret it though. If you need quality you have to spend money.

These were bought as a gift and the recipient really likes them. They don’t take up much worktop space to store the knives. The knives are reasonable quality; I have had the carousel set with the same knives for 3 years and so far they have held up to daily use.

Quality knives, can’t see these going rusty or a handle breaking off any time soon. Ultra sharp out the box which is great and the sharpener coming with the stand is so useful. Bit expensive but quality usually is.
Llevo dos dias de uso de los cuchillos y la verdad que las primeras impresiones son muy positivas.
La base muy bonita y los cuchillos entran con mucha facilidad, eso si, tambin es fcil sacarlos por lo que no dejarlos al alcance de los nios.
Los cuchillos el mango muy comodo de coger y el filo es muy bueno y cortan con mucha facilidad.
Adems, llevan un afilador incluido en la base, que es muy comodo para poder afilar los cuchillos en cualquier momento.
Recomiendo la compra, hay cuchillos mas baratos pero de los que he tenido es la mejor relacin calidad-precio.
I love the way that these take up very little space on the worktop, but more than anything, they are razor sharp and feel lovely when using them.

This was a gift for a couple with rubbish knives and almost no counter space. It’s perfect.
A neat set of kitchen knives that are very sharp. There is also an easy to use sharpener neatly stowed in the base of the knife rack. They feel good in the hand and the shape of the handle keeps the blade off work surfaces.
How did I ever manage without these! They say you get what you pay for. These are very very sharp and cut with ease. Just the high quality I was looking for, you can’t go wrong with Joseph Joseph and good Black Friday price. Would happily recommend, easy to clean. Also purchased chopping boards and these look great together.
Love the set of knives complete with a sharpener. Very pleased.
However, at the price point, i’d expect a higher-quality block. This one is very flimsy and feels cheap.
That being said, the knives themselves are very good, so worth it and for all its sins the block does look nice and neat which is ideal if you don’t have much space.
These knives are some of the best I have ever used for quality, weight and sharpness. The only downside is the knife holder is cheap plastic that can wobble around when you insert/remove knives. It looks premium so it’s a shame they didn’t put something in the bottom to weigh it down even if they kept with the plastic construction.
Unfortunately, my mother in law cut a chunk out of her thumb and had to get stitches in hospital, so I suppose I should include a warning here too.
Be careful. They are so sharp that they could probably carve a Nargacuga hide.
A great set of knives, sharp and cleverly designed including the resting edge so the knife does not touch the surface. The block sharpens and holds the knifes well, although they are sometimes tricky to place into the block. My biggest negative is the knives are not suitable for the dishwasher.
Quite a great pair of knives I had the other set a little while ago and decided to get a new set when I moved house. These ones come with a knife sharpener which I havent tried yet. These knives do feel like they get blunt quite fast so glad I can sharpen them fairly painlessly. The knives themselves are a good spread in size/type and feel really nice to hold
Smart looking, effective and have the added bonus of a built in sharpener. We have a quite a lot of Joseph Joseph items and they are al excellent.

Due to having quite a small kitchen I my new apartment, I needed a knife set that wouldn’t take too much room.
I stumbled across this knife set from Joseph joseph, I find a lot of products from this brand are quite overpriced and expensive.
Although I did like the design of this knife set, it is a slim block design and features a removable knife sharpener built in.
The quality of the knifes are great with the blades being Japanese.
Very sharp and lovely to use. The elevate feature of the knife is handy as well as it prevents the blade from touching the surface.
The block itself isn’t that great in quality but it doesn’t feel too cheap.
Quite an expensive set of knifes. I bought them for 100 which I did feel was rather pricey, but for the space saving design I was willing to pay the price for it.
Great knives. Japanese steel so extremely good quality. Functional whilst looking great. Knife block pushes up flat against the back wall of the work surface so out of reach of smaller children. Would highly recommend.
Un corte excelente, el peso bien equilibrado, no le doy 5 extrellas por la facilidad en que los cuchillos salen del bloque de madera, no dejar al alcance de nios, es facilmente subsanable con un tope a media altura que obligue a levantar los cuchillos. Pienso hacerselo yo con unos listones de madera subire fotos cuando lo haga

I bought this bread to cut crusty sourdough – and this knife does the trick. It’s extremely sharp and excellent to handle. This is a great product.
I bought this knife block with knives and sharpener for my son and daughter-in-law and they are very happy with it. I love Joseph & Joseph products and this is no exception – well thought out and smart too. The compact design doesn’t take up too much room on the counter top too.

Really like this Joseph Joseph knife, it is practical, great design lovely colour and has a comfortable handle. Warning very sharp, use the shield provided for storage in drawer.
Worth the money, easy to use.
A good bread knife. Sliced through crusty bread without any issues at all.
It feels comfortable in the hand and it’s easy to use.
It is able to stand on its side thanks to it being raised on one side of the handle.
It comes with a cover for the blade as well.
I bought this to replace the black teflon coated breadknife in our set as the original had lost it’s edge after 5-6 years use.
This new one at 20 was expensive – I thing the whole set of 6 with revolving stand was around 50 ?
The blade is no longer black teflon (looks like stainless steel) and the handle profile is different, so although it will fit into the revolving stand, my better-half has banned it to a drawer as it doesn’t match !
Does the job though & very sharp .. not fine toothed, more a scalloped edge (as original).
Lovely bread sharp, i now have straight slices . but i do love Joseph Joseph products

We have been struggling with another bread knife to cut home baked bread which is really soft. This Joseph Joseph knife cuts through all breads so easily. This is 100% the only bread knife you’ll ever need.
