Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought for my 7 year old as she loves dancing & being active, loves her xbox & this was a way of keeping her up and using energy instead of being sat on the sofa for hours.

The game is great-has a ‘Kids’ section with about 10 easier songs. The games in the main section are rated from easy to ridiculous, or you have an option to turn on ‘sweat’ mode where it instead tells you how active a dance is & it counts the calories you burn during the songs (although i’m not convinced it’s entirely accurate considering it is only measuring the movement of one hand!)

There is a limited number of songs on the disc at the beginning, unlocking more as you progress & the option of signing up to “unlimited” for a fee which has hundreds more songs-we will probably do this at a later date..for now we are enjoying what comes with it.

There is the option to create a profile characters on the game for each player & as you play you unlock different options for making the characters unique. You can also play against online players.

I have marked down one star though purely for the fact you have to hold a phone to play. So my 7 year old can’t play against me as she doesn’t have a mobile. Currently she’s happy for us to just dance along with the one person holding the phone. So i’ve ordered a cheap 2nd hand kinect (took a while to find a cheap one due to prices rising during lockdown!) in the hope that we can battle & even see ourselves dancing. Wish there was a dedicated controller/camera for the game though as the kinect is not a supported piece of kit anymore.

My girls love this game. Up to date music and dancing fun so they are active. Only issue is they have to hold your phone to play it so there is a danger the phone could go flying.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersKids absolutely love this game and it keeps them active on rainy days. Fun to watch them as well as having the odd go!
Shame you have to pay a subscription to unlock more songs.
Worth it though – helps with my fitness too!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBeware that you will need a kinect device or a smart phone to play this game, luckily most children have smart phones these days.
