Good for the price. I do mostly Hip thrusts and abs on it and it works good
Easy to put together and fairly easy to adjust once it’s set up.
Yes it’s a bit of a faff having to unscrew the two ends each time to fold it up, but it’s really not that bad at all. We’re just used to first world problems!
Haven’t tested the incline/decline option yet but it seems fine.
The ankle supports are a bit tight (6’1″ size 10 feet) but not really an issue.
This is a good bench at a good price. I’m sure it can cope with the recommended weight usage. I’m using it outside and storing it there too under a waterproof BBQ cover! Job done. Happy days. If it packs up after a year and I’ve had my use out of it, I’m happy to get another one, although I’m sure the wood can easily be replaced behind the cushion that you lie on.
This bench is a breeze to assemble and it is very stable when in use. I use it for both sit ups and for using dumb bells. I am very happy with this purchase.
The bench was delivered swiftly and was mostly fully assembled. However, on inspection, the bolts for attaching the top pad were missing.
Contacted the seller and they sent out the missing parts with no fuss. There was a fair amount of drama with TNT but thankfully the missing parts arrived and I am finally able to use my bench.
Full marks to the seller for dealing with the issue swiftly, minus marks for TNT 🙂
As for the bench itself, my purpose was not to use it for very heavy weights, but to use it to improve certain aspects of my daily routine. For this it performs admirably and I am very satisfied with it.
This is very easy to build and fold. It’s great for exercising, as it’s very sturdy.
Easy to assemble. Looks good but I question the overall sturdyness. Will be ok for light use but feels a little unbalanced and lacking in stability

Firstly, I spent a long time scouring the veritable minefield of Amazon, reading countless reviews for several workout benches before I decided to take the plunge and invest in the JX Fitness bench.
This is definitely a sound investment. Well, it is for me, for what I need it for. I appreciate that other users may have different requirements, but this bench works for me. Simple.
If you’re after a ‘gym standard’ all singing and dancing bench, then sadly this isn’t for you. But, for those wanting a reliable, compact, reasonably priced home workout bench, this is more than ideal.
I am 6ft and weigh 180lbs, I have had no trouble using the bench, it is the perfect height off the floor and does not rock or wobble during use.
I could not have been happier with this bench, it is sturdy, easy to assemble, does was I need it to, and I have not experienced any issues so far at all.

I decided it was time to work out after one year of just running. I am a small person so this bench is easily twice my weight but I had no problems while assembling it. It was a bit heavy but super easy to assemble. Like a giant Kinder Surprise Chocolate! I did not even need to look at the instructions, seemed logical. I have been working out for a month now and it is sturdy. I am 45 kilos, I am working out with 5 kilo weights and the bench is firm. Very happy with it!
The Bench is good, but I gave this product 4 stars because I found the locking pin very tight and an effort to pull out and push back in on the leg supports. I’m trying to find a better locking pin that fits better.

Good sturdy quality, easy and quick to fold and store, I have only good things to say about this, and I would have considered this a good purchase if it costed 50% more.
Have used this bench for a month. It is a simple and sturdy design. Good for bench presses and inclined crunches (not too steep nor too hard for the latter). Folds flat for storage.
There are some downsides to be aware of: all leg adjustments are via screws -not difficult but a bit time consuming compared to locking pins.
The maximum incline (with the bottom stand folded in) has the bench resting on a rubber support in the centre of the bench. This works fine for crunches, but is not stable enough for weight based exercise.

Got a bench after 6 weeks of waiting, when i opened parcel, there was no assembly manual, setup is fairly easy, but i’m missing part to attach leg holder, which means i cannot use all functions of the bench. Bench is fine, missing parts not!

Perfect for what I need it for, decent quality for the price, fast assembly. Don’t need to store it so won’t be trying that feature.
Very good, took maybe 20 mins to unpack and build. Feels study when flat. Takes around 90 seconds to adjust it from flat to incline, around 120 seconds to fold it flat. Really impressive for the cheapest bench here.
Finally, decided to get some items to go exercise at home. We found that this bench looks good and we were surprised it was very easy to assemble as we actually thought to by assistance to assemble it but I think it’s not necessary. Now all family can use it because children like to do exercise and use bench for it. Very pleased with the purchase.

Easy to assemble as it was pretty much assembled already, easy to pack away and comfortable, pretty much the same you’d get in a gym.. one drawback is it isn’t sturdy enough but I guess it’s just a standard bench
It might not be the most high-techy bench, but it is perfect for my needs. It also has fewer pieces to mount, so it is more difficult to make a mistake during the assembly. I find it quite sturdy.
Firstly, one reviewer claimed it is made in Germany. Mine clearly states made in China, but obviously for a German company, who appear to have specified a pretty high standard not always seen in Chinese equipment at this price point. I have a Chinese made dip station which is nowhere near the quality of this bench. Amusingly they suggest that you need two or three people to assemble it, but I put most of it together while taking a phone call. It is well designed, the steel sections are good quality and the welding is exceptional. The bench is very comfortable, as are the foam leg pads. My only gripe is it has a little slack in the frame joints that gives a tiny amount of wobble. If this puts you off, then be prepared to spend double on a pro bench. The range of adjustment is good, but bare in mind that this is a pretty basic bench. Ideal for abs. If you like the idea of folding it down to store away every day, I would say forget it. As another reviewer points out, it is just too much work.

The system that it uses to fold is a faf and makes it a little wobbly to stand on but to do Bulgarian squats or elevated pushups is good enough.
We end up using it as an extension for the couch since it’s the same height in stead of putting it sway
It collapses easily and the legs lock with the two bolts.
One leg is height adjustable to make the sit ups harder.

It’s very easy to fold and can be slided under a bed easily and quickly.
Overall structure has solid construction, which allows users upto 300 lbs, my weight well below it.
After quick workout I can fold it and save under bed, underneath it has soft padding to protect the floor.
All legs has robber cover so even when moved doesn’t scratch my wooden floor.
Angle of the bench can be adjusted to suitable angle . Great foldable working bench , when folded it just 4 inches when fully mounted it’s around 17 inches. Assemble takes couple minutes. Overall quite happy with it.

I bought this as a gift for my gym mad partner who was suffering from not being able to attend the gym during the covid lockdown. He loves it! It’s not huge and it folds easily to be stored against the wall. He uses it regularly with weights and as a sit up bench. Great value for the money.
Does the job nicely. Easy to assemble and quick to fold flat for storage. I’m using it for dumbbell bench presses, dips and the sit-up option is a great bonus. I weigh 90kg and me plus 40kg of dumbbells are handled easily. Worth the money in my opinion and would recommend for the price.
Easy to assemble, works as expected and nice soft cushion. Easy to move using the handle although still heavyish …. it is a bench after all, or I’m just a weakling!
Sturdy and reasonably priced (although I probably paid well over the odds due to C19!). Easy to assemble and will fold for storage. Good for basic home weight workouts in the absence of a gym.

Closed. Bought this for my husband, was not sure what to expect but really impressed with it so far plus This folds away easily and was so easy to assemble
I didn’t want to spend a fortune – and this was 70 when I bought it – and didn’t want a big lump knocking around at home. This, as the ‘miffed’ reviewer rightly says, only folds down to around 20cm thick, which may mean it’ll slide under your bed, or maybe not. The 10cm quoted is simply wrong. I’m not too miffed though – during the day it’s taken over as my desk seat (reasonably comfy), then gets moved a little of an evening, and becomes the weights bench.
There’s a fair amount you can do with it. Admittedly it has no arms to support a barbell, but that would have made it a pain to store / leave around, and obviously I knew that when I bought it. I’ve been doing a lot of dumbbell bench presses with it (up to 60kg, but not convinced I’ll get close to the 100+ of my 20s). Also great for sit-ups on an incline or the flat. 100 a day is slowly paying dividends (I managed to get 50 in during a particularly dull conference call the other day).
The incline’s a bit disappointing. I think it’s probably only 30 degrees up from horizontal, at most. I feel it should go to 45, but see why it can’t (it would need to be taller to fit the extending leg in). You can drop the other end so it’s virtually on the floor, then get a more severe incline – but it’s a weird position, and – as there’s no fixed seat part, it doesn’t really work; you tend to slide down till your arse is on the floor – you can still bench like that, mind. The solution there is to get a more expensive bench with a fixed seat and inclining back rest (but then you’re back to having an ungainly lump knocking around)
Horses for courses – it is what it is and is great as a simple bench with a mild incline feature. Oh, and you’ll see Made in Germany as you unpack it. I found that reassuring, and it is well built. I’ve hammered it over the last couple of months since buying it and it’s good as new.
For lockdown this bench seems good enough, quality/value is high considering other products
A very good weights bench. It was easy to put together and comes with good instructions. It’s easy to unfold and use and equally as easy to fold. Doesn’t take up too much space when folded to store.
Nice but one of the screws for seat attachment had but plate badly made and threads would not let screw attach then it fell into padding. 5 POF 6 screws hold it tightened seat ok
Well I’m pleased with it. I feel safe lying on it using my dumbbells. Quite straightforward to fold down with a couple of large screws, takes no more than a minute to flatten down. I store mine upright against the wall and it’s unobtrusive enough.
I still have some weights at home, but got rid of my previous bench many years ago, so went looking for some new options.
This caught my eye, firstly, on the design / flexibility and I also thought it was a good price (65) for a good quality bench. You can adjust the height at either end of the bench, depending on whether you’re doing seated / prone / kneeling weights or sit-ups – see attached pictures.
It also folds flat (takes 30-60 seconds, depending on how tired you are!) so I can store it out of the way, which is great, and the padding makes it very comfortable to lay on – and it’s wipe-clean, to make cleaning up quick and easy when you’re done.
Very easy to assemble and I am in love with this bench now. A very good quality and very sturdy as well.

I purchased this for my son birthday because it folded away. He loves it and uses it most days so I guess this is a winner.
I got this bench for circuit training. I do a lot of different things on it, sit-ups, step-ups, knee-ups etc — it works, but it’s not as stable as I would have liked for this and there’s a fair amount of movement. I love that it folds away and it’s easy to assemble, so I do think it was the right choice, but as my workouts progress, I’m not sure if it will remain usable and I may have to purchase a different one. I can’t imagine jumping onto it without being tipped off.
